Raja Petra says Rosmah is the problem but what’s his game plan?

The problem is you, Rosmah’, says Raja Petra Kamarudin in his Malaysia Today column yesterday.

Raja Petra says:

“The issue here is not whether Lee Chong Wei won gold or silver but that it is Rosmah who went to London.”

See my previous posting ‘Orang cakap badminton, YB ini bayangkan dirinya bagus

Raja Petra says her trip to London is being condemned by opposition supporters.

He says:

“People hate her so they need to whack her. And her trip to London is a good issue to bring up.”

Raja Petra adds that “Najib Tun Razak should understand by now that the anger towards his wife is very strong and the less her name pops up in the news the better.”

Who’s talking about Rosmah?

Even though it is Rosmah’s name in Raja Petra’s article headline, it’s not her that the uber blogger has on his mind. (I know what he’s thinking because I’m clairvoyant; it’s one of my little talents besides cartooning).

Raja Petra has on his mind the Pakatan people — his readers.

His readers are among those fond of mocking Rosmah. However, his readers are not leaders. They are followers. Among others, they follow the DAP and PKR leadership.

In mocking Rosmah, they’re getting the cue from the Pakatan politicians.

The tweet screenshot below is one example of Rosmah being mocked. Ramachandaran Muniandy in the tweet screenshot below is Mr Hannah Yeoh.

Just in case you’re still unaware of the identity of DAPSubangJaya, below is a screenshot of the user profile. Look at whose website address it is.

You might be able recall Hannah’s “hu hu hu” Twitter exchange with The Star journalist-cum-the paper’s NUJ chairman who hollered “Oi Big Mama”.

Rosmah is a favourite target in the DAP twitterverse comprising DAP politicians, their reporter buddies and bloggers, and the Christian zealots.

Hannah Yeoh retweets chuckles at Rosmah (see below).

Hannah Yeoh retweets a tweet saying “Wow. A day without Rosmah’s photo in The Star. I miss her already.” (It must be The Scissors in its Mr Hyde split personality day. The paper as we know has a bipolar disorder.)

And Hannah herself tweets about Big Mama too.

Who makes the comments?

Follower see, follower do.

Hannah Yeoh’s tweets reach 50,000 subscribers each time she hits the ‘Send’ key to transmit her godly thoughts.

It helps the multi-level marketing customer base expansion that Malaysiakini has her on its Twitter bulletin board daily as a “newsmaker”. The MCA-owned Scissors actively promotes her Twitter too.

Although the followers are anonymous or pseudonymous, they nonetheless have flesh and blood fingers that punch the keyboard or touchpad to type out their comments. Vitriolic insults are not generated by autobots.

The cogs turn the wheel in the individual’s mind to deliberately frame the nastiest comments to inflict the lowest blows. Hence the venom is not just detached words floating about aimlessly in cyberspace.

Today the stream of invectives directed at Rosmah is a torrent. If these people are venomous about her online, do you think their offline persona can be separated?

The comments are after all a reflection of their thoughts. Or do you reckon they only think like that when on the Internet but somehow manage to think differently (nice, warm, complimentary thoughts about Rosmah) when they’re not connected to the Net?

These people are the friends of Raja Petra’s friends.

Let’s catch up with Raja Petra’s Asal Bukan Umno friend and see what he’s up to.

ABU declares holy war on Umno

ABU’s game plan is to plaster ABU stickers everywhere. On roadsigns. And lamp posts. Like the Ah Longs.

Public benches, public walls, public stairs and other public facilities are not safe from ABU stickers.

The ABU people are vandals.

Another prong of the ABU plan is to put the fear of God (the Almighty is always necessarily invoked by prophets) into foreigners. Haris’ ABU follower chimes in with, “May the Lord be with us.”

Haris Ibrahim tells his ABU people:

“If you see foreigners queuing up to get into the polling stations [on election day], get them out, by whatever means.”

Too bad if they’re Malaysian but don’t look like a Malaysian (whatever an archetypal Malaysian is supposed to look like). This hapless un-Malaysian-looking Malaysian could find himself being removed from the polling booth “by whatever means” by the ABU volunteer task force.

Haris proceeds to explain ABU phase 2:

“A media war is underway … to deliver a chilling warning to the new Mykad holders”.

“For the last two weeks, a motley crew of taxi drivers, who I fondly and proudly refer to as the ABU Taxi Brigade, have been taking a short message to foreigners who travel in their cabs:  show up at polling stations on polling day during PRU13 and be prepared for dire consequences. The rakyat are no longer prepared to be cheated at the polls.”

Gawd, it tough to look like a foreigner with all these ABU-ers running loose. You’ll end up being intimidated by total strangers for dunno what ‘crime’ you’re supposed to have planned to commit at dunno what date in the future (depending on when Najib gets his inspiration to call the election).

On top of being vandals, the ABU movement followers appear prepared to inflict “dire consequences”. They are vigilantes.

They hate Umno. These Asal Bukan Umno people want all the Umno election candidates to be replaced by Pakatan’s excellent candidate material.

For one, Hannah Yeoh whom Haris has declared is “excellent candidate material” par excellence.

When the time comes, Haris Ibrahim will let his ABU followers know who all the rest of the excellent candidate material are. Or unless every Pakatan candidate is deemed excellent material … as long as they’re not Umno.

So there you have it. The ABU game plan.

What is Raja Petra’s? I was under the impression that he and Haris were in this ABU thing together, no?

Just yesterday afternoon I saw some blue poster-like signs painted on a few residential area roads in SS2 in the vicinity if Masjid Aminah bearing the words ‘ZONE BERSIH’. Does anybody have any idea what these signs are? Do they imply the rest of Selangor (which is a lot) are dirty (which may be true considering the poor state of rubbish collection in Selangor for quite some time now)?

These signs painted on the tarmac may be the new signs of the times when other surfaces in Selangor are inundated with Ah Long and massage parlour stickers.

  2. Talking about clowns…..Hannah and gang are the real clowns with their pathetic attempt at wit and humour. All I see are childish and juvenile but malicious teasing and mocking…just like the playground bully! What’s more pathetic is that she’s got 50,000 twits who thinks her tweets are funny…

For a supposedly staunch Christian, her actions goes against the teachings of the church. She may not have killed physically, but she has killed many emotionally with her social media bullying. I abhor her sanctimonious behaviour and her self-righteousness.

    She will get her retribution.

  3. Helen,

Raja Petra is what we call “orang yang melampaui batas’.

If I were to be in his shoes, I would like to spend some time especially during Ramadhan to do some reflection. It is high time for him to look into his own life.

His family is broken. He leads live as if “tak ingat satu hari akan mati”. His own son swallowed razor blade at one time.

My advice to him is this “sudahlah. Berubahlah. Setiap yang hidup akan merasai mati”.

Helen, these 2 people, they are birds of the same feathers.

She had a poor upbringing, in other words she is biadab, so hence “all she is capable of is to be a cyber bully. For a supposedly staunch Christian, her actions goes against the teachings of the church. She may not have killed physically, but she has killed many emotionally with her social media bullying. I abhor her sanctimonious behaviour and her self-righteousness.”

she is a staunch Christian ? Oh pulezzzz…. she is a cultist. Just look at her fans in cyberspace.

    “She will get her retribution..”

Do your bit, come election day, make sure your vote counts. Send her back to where she came from.

  6. Alamak, mesti i dihalau daripada my polling station on election day. I look so unMalaysian, mati la….

Do these people know that what they are suggesting is against the law?

    1. To Pakatan Rakyat’s supporters, if you’re not with them, then you are unMalaysian. So come election day, make your vote counts, show these people who are the real unMalaysians.

    2. There is a malay actor, remy ishak..me n my friends think he look like a bangladesh…lucky he is an actor..abu-er might know him..but pity to those rakyt without malaysian look…huhu..and what about malaysian from javanese heritage…they sure look like indonesian no?…i wonder whether haris know malaysian well..he, himself might be mistaken for an indonesian too…haha…

  7. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah was in Barcelona in 1992 too to support our boys. The difference is probably intentional.

    1. Ever notice that while Kak Ros was in London accompanied by Tok Pa’s spouse, Bang Jib had to watch the big match at Tok Pa’s residence in Nickky’s Makkah Corridor State? Would the Bendaharaship of Kelantan change hands come this coming GE?

  8. Salhas,

Anything is possible. What is required is to stop being “taksub’.
