Malaysiakini melaporkan 18 orang, termasuk empat kanak-kanak (gambar atas), memulakan pada malam Khamis mogok lapar anjuran Malaysian Youth Against Public Hazard.
Para blogger yang turun padang membuat liputan mungkin berminat untuk menemubual budak-budak tersebut yang kelihatan berpakaian kemeja-T ‘Himpunan Hijau’, gerakan yang membantah operasi Lynas.
Alasan saintifik
Kanak-kanak ini yang menyertai protes mogok lapar harus ditemubual agar dapat diuji tahap pemahaman mereka dalam bidang sains radioaktif.
Mampukah mereka memberitahu kepada umum mengapa mereka menganggap loji nadir bumi di Gebeng boleh mendatangkan bahaya?
Sekiranya seseorang mahu menjalankan protes, individu tersebut harus mengetahui sebab-sebab berbuat demikian serta bersedia memberi penjelasan berasaskan sains kimia kenapa dia terdorong untuk memprotes.

Sebelum ini saya pernah memblog bahawa ‘Perarakan Himpunan Hijau di KL berbaur pengaruh politik DAP‘.
Juga, ‘Reason Lynas protesters are mostly Chinese‘.
Namun ada juga sesetengah blogger Cina yang berkeras mahu menafikan bahawa yang terlibat dalam protes kebanyakannya kaum Cina.

Saya ada menulis ‘DAP, pembangkang ada tangan dalam anti-Lynas‘ memetik janji Lim Guan Eng untuk batalkan lesen Lynas sekiranya Pakatan mengambil alih kuasa.
Kumpulan Save Malaysia Stop Lynas menuntut supaya kerajaan BN ditumbangkan (“vote this irresponsible and incompetent government out”) sementara pengerusi Himpunan Hijau Wong Tack ditawar bertanding pilihanraya akan datang sebagai seorang calon DAP.

Pada malam Dis 27, Wong Chin Huat telah memberi ucapan. Beliau ialah seorang Fellow di Penang Institute, iaitu badan pemikir (think tank) Lim Guan Eng di Pulau Pinang.
Chin Huat, memakai kemeja-T pihak penganjur, kelihatan dalam gambar atas sedang memegang mic.
Juga dijemput untuk memberi ucapan ialah S. Arutchelvan, setiausaha agung Parti Sosialis Malaysia.
D. Jeyakumar, exco PSM yang juga Ahli Parlimen Sungai Siput, telah bersama-sama 11 orang MP lain beserta beberapa orang lagi Adun DAP mengambil bahagian dalam perhimpunan ‘Langkah Lestari’ anti-Lynas pada bulan lepas.

this whole thing is a charade. the location of this hunger strike, well what hunger strike nonsense, also happens to host a variety of grocery stores and eateries. obviously they are trying to hoodwink the people again. my guess is that, when people are not there to witness the charade, these hunger strikers will sneak to the nearest grocery store and eateries and start their food feast.
I suggest the burger sellers yang dulu duduk depan Rumah Ambiga open their burger stalls kat tepi tu. Baru lah Ada challenge bertahan lapar.

Kerosakan dan kematian di sebabkan rempuhan ombak tsunami adalah jauh lebih ramai berbanding kerosakan dan kematian susulan kebocoran awan radiasi dari loji tenaga nuklear apabila loji tenaga nuklear dirempuh ombak yang sama.
Sememangnya, kalau ada perasaan takut dilambung tsunami janganlah hendaknya berumah di tepi pantai. Namun penempatan di kawasan berhampiran pantai yang dilanda tsunami tidak pula dikosongkan sebaliknya terus dibangunkan malah lebih rancak berbanding sebelum tsunami.

Please don’t claim what they are doing as fasting. Fasting means no food, no water and abstainance.
I have seen some non Muslim friends and new Muslim converts trying out fasting in Ramadhan, they usually can’t last beyond half a day.
Most converts can only achieve the full puasa the subsequent years.

Helen, I was saying that, maybe due to the fact that the hunger strike is a charade, the yellow shirt gang will man the location when the green shirt gang are hungry and they take a break from the hunger strike to go to the nearest place to eat and drink. so this way the charade can continue and they can continue to deceive the passersby.
we will know how many kilos they lose after this whole charade is over. but don’t hold your breath. they will not lose a stone or two. they may even gain a stone or two.
come one lah its Dataran Merdeka, so many tourists come to the place, maybe the tourists will even ask them to pose for photo ops and then later to have a meal or two. no one is monitoring the place. they can always curi-curi makan here and there.
