Mahu Perkasa dikutuk tapi …

Mohamad Tajuddin Mohamad Rasdi mengutuk hasutan Ibrahim Ali agar orang Islam membakar Bible Allah (screenshot bawah).

“Turning the other cheek”?

Isn’t it natural/obvious that he defends his party?

He seems to want the reaction and responses of Malay Muslims to be checked but doesn’t urge his own ‘people’ to do likewise I suppose. If he is a moderating influence I would not be reacting like this. Of course I’m not the “Quran-thumping” religious moron that I may be made out to be by responding like this but just an ordinary Malay-Muslim. I shuddr to imagine the feelings of animosity of Malay-Muslims with regard to the ‘Allah for all’ polemics but talk to the Malays in the kampungs anyway and you will feel the smouldering anger that I felt when I went home to Kedah quite recently.

Enough of my ranting. And by the way, is this profesor holding the title for life like “professor’ Aziz Bari or is he holding a Chair in one of the universities here or abroad? Just like to know that’s all.

My apologies Helen for airing my views in your blog but this is the only one (Blog) that treats this subject quite differently from the others.

    Cheers.

Smoldering anger towards what or whom? In my kampung, boleh dikatakan tengah kuat membara terhadap SEMUA-nya. Let me itemize as concise as I can:
      1. Allah issue – how dare the opposition play up this issue, how dare PAS (some) stand with the PR and how could the government be so weak as to not put their foot down? Bring back the ISA.

      2. Allah, Islam and Sultan, interwoven. Sultan as the head of Islam command the people to stop politicizing the Allah issue. What does the government do? NOTHING!!! What does P R supporters do? Step on the monarchy, as if we are not a constitutional parliamentary mornachy. The liberal Malays and the Bangsar Chinese forget the rural folks actually stand by their sultans.

      3. The Transformasi programs. Many of the rurals haven’t a clue. Firstly, it’s not even a Malay word. Secondly, all we (rurals) see and experience, our kids are not getting scholarships (meritocracy) which favors non Malays. It’s more difficult to get into universities. And prices of goods increase almost on a daily basis. What the government gives in aid, the shops take back in the form of price increase. And the schools are getting worse it seems cause the teachers don’t seem to be committed. And the people we elect to take care of us are only taking care of themselves. Their houses get bigger, their cars get bigger, even they themselves are getting bigger.

      4. And the list goes on.

Agree. Why no action taken? Why so weak? Why so scared? Not enough laws? You have laws against makan pada waktu puasa and khalwat only? Is that it?

Jamil Khir Baharom. TALK ONLY. NO ACTION. SHAME ON YOU.

Funny, because there is strong disagreement among Chinese Christians when it comes to faith itself. Even politics… some will not support PR because of the PAS factor, and some will.

And lets not forget the barbs traded between DAP & PKR vs. MCA Chinese who are Christians…

Well, I suppose Helen needs to generalise to write today’s Christian-bashing article.

Perkasa won’t grow out of nothing. A seed needs to be planted first before Perkasa shoot to sprout up. In this context, thanks to Dapster for creating Perkasa seed from all the bullshits they have thrown into the political lanscape.

Perkasa shoot was further watered by the street demonstration and fertilized by the local Arab Spring. Now they have grown up to a full size. Thanks to all parties involved.

To some one (A) Perkasa is not irritating to his eye at all but for others (B) it might be an eyesore. B cannot simply chop down Perkasa just because he doesn’t like its appearance. It is against the law.

The only thing B can do with regard to Perkasa is to transfer all the anger he had to the street demonstrators, the Arab Spring leader and finally the Dapsters.

Look as though “nutcase” is an appropriate word for the non-Christians if they suggest this and that on the bible.

Ironically when a chaplain suggested the holy books of the non Christian to be destroyed, most of you defended the actions as a mere freedom of expression.

      Why double standard LOL.

    Kak Helen,

Kalau itulah saja peranan Dapster Melayu, macam mana nak tarik lain-lain Melayu masuk Dap?
