Dwi-standard: Kenapa Dapsters hanya usik Chua Soi Lek seorang saja yang “porn star”?

Kiasu tahap tongkang pecah — masih ada lagi yang mahu menegakkan benang basah.

Sedutan di bawah disalin-tampal daripada rencana bertajuk ‘Bak-kut-teh, Dr M and Umno: Sheer hypocrisy and political opportunism’.

Ia ditulis oleh Stephen Ng dan disiarkan kelmarin di Malaysia Chronicle (21 Julai 2013):

<Petikan>

“As a matter of fact, although I do not agree with their blogging, I see no harm in what they did. It was a nice photograph of the couple having ‘bah kut teh’ and, in the spirit of 1Malaysia, wanted to share the Chinese delicacies during the Buka Puasa. They did not criticise anyone, except that it hit a wrong note with some most irrational people in the country.

There is no evidence, for example, to suggest that the dish that they were having is pork. The word ‘bak kut teh’, for your information, is a combination of three Hokkien words – ‘Bak’, means meat; ‘kut’ means bones and ‘teh’ means herbal tea. Without investigating further, people have jumped into conclusion that they were consuming pork, and since pork is ‘haram’ in the eyes of the Muslims, therefore the Alvivi couple had made fun of Islam.

To Mahathir and his ilk, I wish to say that the cuisine happens to be my favourite and I wish to share it with everyone else, including my Muslim and vegetarian friends. There are various versions including the ones that are better known as ‘chick kut teh’ and ‘vegetarian bah kut teh’. Chick Kut Teh aside, there are two shops that I recommend where they serve Bah Kut Teh, vegetarian style – one in Desa Jaya and another in SS2, Petaling Jaya.

What appears to be widening the gap between UMNO Baru and the rest of the Malaysian society is the way how double standards are being practicsed by UMNO and the federal agencies that they have control over. Of late, for example, I was shocked to read that a top cop had insisted that the ‘hina Islam’ graffiti painted on a Chinese youth is linked to the Alvivi couple.”

“Furthermore, why are we ignoring the fact that the halal bak kut teh is being promoted by NON-MUSLIM PORN STARS?

Here we have a pair of ‘penzina’ who are proud of showcasing their trysts to the public with no sense of shame, and we clearly know that pornography is degrading to the society. Zina is a big sin in Islam and even though Alvivi are non-Muslims, the fact that halal bak kut teh is promoted by porn stars is UTTERLY GROSS.”

All these attempts at defending and/or justifying Alvivi’s BKT actions are really ridiculous! There is no logic whatsoever in their statements. In fact, these dick-heads, in the first place, just do NOT realise how and why Alvivi’s antics offended not only the Muslims but also many other non-Malay/Muslim level-headed people. If they get their heads out of their arses, they MIGHT just be able to see some light through all the shit in their eyes and mind!

Their stupidity and ignorance is flabbergasting!

Like that writer’s own title, the move to defend/justify them is because it’s a golden political opportunity for them to snipe at Malay parties and politicians who choose to criticize and demand punishment for those two.

Talking about hypocrisy, when they eat bak kut teh it has always been pork yet now suddenly they are trying to pass off chik kut teh and vegetarian bak kut teh as the same with bak kut teh.

Maybe their Muslim friends should take note of what they really ate.

        Meh,

honestly as a BKT lover myself. . No one and i repeat no one ever really eats the chicken, vege, mutton, beef or watever other variants. . It will forever and ever be pork and depending on what u prefer wil always be pork in different cuts only. .

To say it is not pork in the pic is cooking rubbish. . Look closely and u will see wat i see. . A nice glistening layer of fat on a solid piece of meat. . Chicken or any other meat doesn’t have that don’t they??

I have never asked or even.offered any non halal anything to any of my.muslim bro & sis. . This is something logical la. . All this Mofos trying to justify them. .

the point here is why BKT of all dishes. It is BKT because it is intended to offend the muslims. Why can’t this offensive boy and girl just omit to show any dishes or put our SATAY instead. And this is not the first time these two obnoxious guys does very offensive stuff. The judge is right in not allowing them bail. He obviously does not want to feel responsible if anything untoward should happen to them if they are unguarded.

I have been colour blind from those days before Stephen Ng, HY & OKM even born. don’t teach old duck how to swim! and those days, we did it sincerely and full heartedly not like DAPsters.

there are hell a lot of ways to promote racial harmony/integration, but 1st they need to adjust their sick brain not to insult other people religion.

I remember, when I was in tadika, I used to mock my chinese friend for cheating god by putting plastic fruits as offering on their altar. I got whacked on the back by my dad.

ajak buka puasa makan bak kut teh for 1Malaysia spirit; oh pleaselah…. go and tell that in Pakistan or Indon and see what will happend to their sick brain – bersepai!!!

CSL is an easy target, plus he’s an establishment figure, meaning he’s in government for far too long hence he is corrupt, at least in the minds of Dapsters and those who think alike.

The 2 porn stars are hipsters. Therefore they are deemed as ignorant, hence we hear calls from Dapsters telling people not to be too harsh on them.

Plus they are young, making them into symbols of resistance and dissent play into the DAP’s long term strategy of not only monopolizing the Chinese Youth vote but also the the Youth vote in general. We didn’t hear protest from PAS Youth thus far, at least that’s what I m aware of. If there’s protest from PAS Youth, correct me on that.

Youth votes will dominate the coming GE14. If DAP managed to get a firm grip on this vote bank, they will have considerable leverage on who forms the government.

The DAP game plan is straightforward. Win a strategic, considerable number of seats, then negotiated with the parties who want to form the next government. Who needs to win the most seats anyway ? Trying to win the most seats is a loser’s strategy.

Don’t think for a minute that the DAP will not sit with Umno to talk about forming a government. DAP is a pragmatic party. And don’t think that Umno can continue to win the most number of seats. The Malay vote is now bitterly divided, thanks to Anwar Ibrahim’s obsession with becoming PM at all cost and PAS’ continued Arabization of the Malay psyche.

Those who misread the changing landscape will find themselves in the political abyss. Just ask those BN component parties who have lost badly in the recently concluded GE13.

      Interntional Jew,

I did not agree with Dr chua’s indiscretion. But I respect him for not making his personal matter as a government’s problem.

At least, he is honest about his sex life. He admitted his mistake, thus no need to lie to cover another lie.

Yes the malays are bitterly divided. But the change is very clear. It tilts in favour of UMNO.

Which explains how UMNO won Kedah and managed to retain Perak. Anwar’s appeal among Malay Muslim community is waning. The same goes to PAS.

Not to say that UMNO can be complacent or without problem. For once, it must shed the apologetic attitude.

And it needs not be seen “terhegeh hegeh” currying votes from Chinese. after all, UMNO can forget the Chinese votes .

i don’t know whether to laugh or to cry reading debates on bak kut teh. Never in my life would i think that one day, a whole nation would be arguing on something so petty.

Instead of acknowledging what the porn couple did as tacky, crass and demeaning: now we have to brave through numerous explanations on bak kut teh, instead. All of sudden everything became literal that the word bak became generic that it just mean meat & it could be any meat including beef, which is not a staple diet for Buddhist.

If that’s not insane, what is..pray tell! How sad the state of chinese of Malaysia that logic and common sense seems to abandon them just because they felt being vindictive.

As I said before, it is the DAP’s contention to subvert language and meaning in an effort to give substance to the Bangsa Malaysia BS. Is there such a thing as “halal” BKT. Of course there is. Did those hipsters mean “halal” BKT, of course NOT.

What is happening here is that the DAP cyber troopers – actually I prefer to think of them a voluntary militia , hence Red Bean Militia – are attempting to make the case that the religious anger of Muslims in this matter is unjustified. This is why LKS uploaded a post by a Singaporean Malay/Muslim, who doesn’t see the big deal in this issue.

What they want is to minimize the offense and point to a more “enlightened”/”acceptable” Malay Muslim polity.

Now as someone who thinks that any religious anger is unjustified but the anger at selective prosecution is justified, the only issue I have here, is the manipulation of language/meaning to subvert the discourse making it impossible to dissent.

UMNO did this extremely well for some time and now it seems PR has decided to give it a go.

Stephen Ng is an id**t; why would he want to defend the insane couple is beyond me? And why would the id**t want to link the whole episode to TDM and UMNO? This is part of the reason I don’t read sites like Malaysian Chronicles.

Stephen Ng is not only just published in MC.

He had this – http://www.malaysiakini.com/letters/236183 – published in MK three days ago.

      And he wrote – http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/opinion/2013/03/16/i-hope-fast-is-bringing-clarity-to-waytha/

      March 16, 2013

FMT LETTER: From Stephen Ng, via e-mail

Quote: “Hannah Yeoh, in another recent interview with TVKini, also said the same thing that we have to do away with race politics. This is the most damaging to national unity. Because Umno – in fact, Dr Mahathir was the main culprit – has been playing racial politics all these years, it does not mean that we should continue to think in terms of race.” Unquote

These kind of people (like Stephen Ng) are published everywhere in the English media.

let us try to recreate the alvivi incident with the scenario as below:

ali and minah are photographed with a dish of rendang daging and put a caption ‘we want to share this scrumptious Malay dish with our Hindu friends. Happy Deepavali. Sedap, lemak, gebu, menyelerakan, bla, bla, bla…’.

At the bottom corner of the is a photograph of a revered sami giving thumbs up aka halal to eat. then the photo got viral and creating outrage among our Hindu friends. to justify, some malay muslim idiot gives the following excuse : ‘hey, rendang daging may not necessarily means cow meat (which is sacred to Hindu), it could also mean chicken, deer, rabbit, horse, camel, or any other meat of an animal god knows what…’

Point to ponder : do you think our Hindu friends can take this STUPID answer as an excuse?

Expect riot ala Babri Mosque by Hindu action groups!

Expect also some Chinese claiming to be devout Buddhist offended by the insensitivities shown by UMNOputras. For they don’t eat daging as well.

      So is life in Malaysia…
