Hah! Konon …

Kita kenal pun siapa yang selalu syok sendiri mendabik dada mereka Malaysian First.

Kalau betul-betul Malaysian First kenapa pula diketengahkan negeri dan membelakangkan negara?

Lembu punya susu, sapi mahu nama

“I must stress it is not my intention to criticise any state government or the work of its chief minister/menteri besar — but political pettiness will hurt Malaysia in the long run. We ought not to be running down each other, but rather work together in the spirit of 1Malaysia to prepare for the global economic uncertainties.”

Seorang blogger Big Cat (via Rocky) mendakwa Guan Eng berkata di suatu acara di Singapura: “In Johor, if you are a Singaporean, you are likely to get kidnapped … you ask any Singaporean they would know but you don’t have that problem when you come to Penang.  I am sure investors want to deal with an honest government and not to deal with crooks.” Menyusul lanjut, sini.

Nota:Guan Eng wants apology from Bernama

  2. These so-called “Malaysian First” people, the more you hear them talk.. the more you know their true colours.. Nobody can pretend and lie all the time. They are bound to trip on their lies after sometime.

I like your “Saidina Melaka” part… LOL! So true..

  3. We are ‘first and foremost Malaysians’.

Please tell this to our DPM (or perhaps the real PM) who said I am a Malay first.

Helen, still awaiting your kind reply whether you are the same Helen Ang that ultra kiasu Redhuan Tee condemned.

Perhaps there could be 2 Helen Ang in Malaysia that writes good comentaries on Politics, albeit the Helen Ang that ultra kiasu Redhuan Tee condemned for being ‘mata sepet’ and using ‘nama Kristian’ seemed to be more pro-opposition and this Helen Ang seems more anti-opposition.

    1. Dear Anti F1,

Thank you for the compliment on writing good commentaries on politics.

I’m not anti-opposition or even anti-DAP. Only critical of a certain faction in the party whom are betraying the Indians (lots of Indians believe DAP has betrayed them — check out the Indian online discussion fora, the HRP website, news reports in other than Malaysiakini and Insider on the disgruntled DAP Indian members or talk to Indians yourself).

Similarly lots of Chinese agree with me that DAP is being hypocrites par excellence — there have always been dissenting factions in DAP itself against the Lim Dynasty as you should know, and needless to say the Chinese in MCA, Gerakan, SUPP, SAPP and elsewhere can see through the pot-calling-kettle-black nature of the Firsters.

Of course the Chinese community is savvy enough to know that this pandering to Malays by DAP is merely put on. But there is the fear that when the Hasnah Yeops & Caliph Umars get too deep into the role-playing, it’d be difficult to beat a retreat. We can see the blowback now when DAP has to take a stand on hudud, thus my FMT article which was probably how you came to this blog via.

Pakatan and Barisan are dua kali lima. DAP has shown no effort to tackle the system and its inherent bias. Replacing one set of people (BN) with another set of the same (Pakatan) won’t bring about change unless the system is reformed.

In fact, the TBH Royal Commission of Inquiry indicated that DAP were getting into the same game of Ali Baba, meaning they have no scruples about exploiting the system themselves either.

In Penang under Pakatan, bumiputera contractors are given 100 percent of the contracts. It’s supposedly the ones valued under RM200,000 (not the big time contracts which goes to the crony capitalists). But at the level of under-200k contracts, LGE giving all to Malays for the sake of political mileage is nonetheless a treacherous shutting out of the Indians from that segment of the economy.

Compare Khalid Ibrahim in Selangor opening up (i.e. he’s willing to reform the system of Class F contractors being all bumiputera) whereas LGE in Pg instead BOASTS that giving 98-100 percent contracts to bumiputera in several fields indicates his state govt is taking care of the Malays. Can you see the anomaly?

But the hardcore supporters are too blinded by loyalties, prejudices and hatred to evaluate critically. A good case study is the negative way the opposition reacted to the positive ISA repeal announcement.

Here, do this experiment: It’s like the ‘blind’ test. Drink from 3 wine bottles but take away the labels so that pre-judgment can be avoided. Try it (click on ‘wine bottles’) and we can continue this discussion thereafter.
