Guan Eng masih lagi mahu pusing hal Johor itu

“Helen, I hope you don’t mind if we keep this conversation within the group”, kata Lim Guan Eng kepada saya ketika pertemuannya dengan kira-kira 35 orang pengamal media dan wakil NGO pada Okt 17 (malam Isnin lalu).

The Malaysian Insider (TMI) dalam rencananya ‘As attacks increase, Guan Eng takes extra precautions‘ semalam (Okt 20) berkata:

The Umno machinery has dogged the DAP secretary-general’s every move of late — from accusations that he discredited the state of Johor during a private luncheon talk to unfounded allegations thus far by pro-Umno bloggers that his 16-year-old son had sexually harassed a female classmate.

“Lim has insisted, however, that his statements were misrepresented by what he called the Barisan Nasional-controlled media. …

“He pointed out that to date, except for a ‘purported tape by TV3’, there has been no press report of what he had said “privately in a closed-door session.”

Maka hujah Guan Eng – “He pointed out that to date, except for a ‘purported tape by TV3’, there has been no press report of what he had said “privately in a closed-door session” – adalah semata-mata untuk mengaburi mata khalayak umum.

Pisang berbuah dua kali

I would prefer if we keep this conversation within the group as far as the both of us are concerned.”

Lantaran saya bertanya: “Which part of the conversation?”

Jawapannya: “The entire conversation.”

  1. This substandard blogger keeps targeting on LGE. Has she forgotten how the mainstream media spun her statements and labeled her as anti Malays last year?

Well, I support the notion of press freedom. After all media should only report. If the media spins every here and there, be prepared to face the music.

I guess most Pakatan leaders do not allow the mainstream media to attend their press conferences because their reporters tend to spin.

    Masai Guy,

As far as I’m aware, only Utusan carried one derogatory article about me (specific mention by name) penned by its columnist Ridhuan Tee and two pro-Umno bloggers dissed me. That’s about it. Chapter closed.

However, the anti-Malay, anti-Islam accusations, slurs and slander aimed at me by the Opposition machinery have been continuing unabated in the various watering holes where the Malaysian Firsters hang out.

On Tuesday, a DAP Robocop even took at potshot at me by leaving a comment in M’sian Insider on an unrelated article. (Read here)

As far as I’m concerned, DAP is a far greater master of gutter politics than Barisan. Better hope that you don’t ever get on the Pakatan wrong side with any unsavoury mutter against their deities … you never know what the future holds. — Helen

  2. LGE wants his cake and eat it too. He wants to denigrate the govt of the day in the eyes of the world but still wants to be the good guy in the white hat in the eyes of Malaysians. I know this kind of guy in office politics. The guy with the golden finger.
