Nathaniel Tan, seorang petugas pejabat Menteri Besar Selangor Khalid Ibrahim, berkata semalam:

“The record for political promiscuity might be held by Lim Boo Chang who went from Gerakan to MCA to PKR and now wants to go back to Gerakan. From past observation, I think my conclusion is: the people with the most credibility are the ones who never change sides. In second place are the ones who change sides only once. Anyone who changes more than that is basically a joke.”

“This latest episode has seemingly left a bad taste in the mouth of thinking Malaysians. It seems strange, they argue, that he [Lim Boo Chang] was unable to find a niche in all these three parties. They wonder whether he is a misfit or his ideals were too high to find any common ground in these parties.”

Boo Chang berkata:

“Pakatan leaders talked much about democracy and human rights, but they do not seem to practise it in real life. Pakatan have to answer to my charges on sPICE and other issues concerning the people, if they are gentleman enough, but not to resort to character assasination and underhand tactics.”

Apa gerangan Ramakrishnan – mantan presiden badan hak asasi dan keadilan sosial – membuat serangan peribadi ke atas Boo Chang?

Penjelasan Boo Chang:

“My departure from PKR is based on principles. The party is unable to control either DAP in Penang or PAS at the national level, apart from its loss of direction by simply collaborating with their partners with a sole aim to grab the power at Putrajaya.”

Lim Boo Chang mendapat sokongan orang India

Mengikut laporan FMT (15 Dis 2011):

“Lim [Boo Chang] said sPICE was a perfect example of how intimidating Guan Eng’s administration can be. Lim also revealed that Guan Eng had used arm-twisting tactics to intimidate councillors, including him, for opposing sPICE.”

@ stopthelies i posted this as soon as P Ramakrishnan published article to discredit boo chang. It makes you wonder a decency of a human being who claims to be fighting for human right

Among three of Aliran Basic Principles,

/A compassionate society that regards humanising the human being through the liberation from inner bondages such as selfishness and cowardice and outer shackles such as poverty and exploitation as its primary goal.

A political system that cherishes the freedom and dignity of the ordinary human being, expands his rights, enhances her responsibilities, encourages his active involvement in the formulation of public policies, allows her to exercise effective authority over government and thereby checks the power of the state.

A political process that stresses accountability, promotes the free flow of information, protects the independence of the media, defends the autonomy of various social groups and safeguards the legitimacy of dissent/

Why do i brought these here, simple reason of the latest article by past president of Aliran P Ramakrishnan on Lim Boo Chang. If you read the article again and again you can actually see that the article is trying to discredit Boo Chang. If P Ramakrishnan is someone who hold closely the basic principals of Aliran wouldnt he have the decency discussing among the main issues raised by Boo Chang that leads to his resignation was a non transparents process of awarding sPICE which also contradict what DAP promises in their Proposed 2008 Budget.
Can P Ramakrishnan clarify on this? Or the sPICE issues deemed not important?
