“Anyway, heavy breathing and veiled warnings are de rigeur modus operandi for politicians and their aides on both sides of the divide,” balas seorang pembaca Rocky manakala seorang lagi menambah, “It all comes with the territory”.

“THIS TAXIDERIVER shall take you to bed and have his way with you
I will make you ache, shake, sweat until you moan and groan.
I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop.
I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I’m finished with you.
And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days.
All my love,

WATCH REALTIME VIDEO”

Screenshot dashboard admin https://helenang.wordpress.com (bawah)

Selang beberapa bulan, suarakeadilanmalaysia.wordpress.com mengaibkan ketua Beliawanis MCA pula, mengikut laporan Utusan MalaysiaSiasat blog kaitkan Ketua Beliawanis dengan imej lucah‘ (14 April 2012).

Antara lainnya, The Star mengatakan “appearance [Hannah] is pleasant and charming”, “she is well groomed” serta mempunyai “a glowing complexion”.

Gambar dari ‘The Star’

The Star memberitahu para pembacanya bahawa Hannah memiliki 50-lebih pasang anting-anting dan subang — “if there is one thing I am crazy about, it would be earrings” akhbar itu memetik Hannah sebagai berkata.

The Star memberitahu para pembacanya bahawa:

“Subang Jaya MP Hannah Yeoh has been groomed from an early age to lead by example”

Everyone soon realised she is “capable and don’t have any hidden agendas except to serve the people of Subang Jaya”

http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/3/23/focus/20722715&sec=focus (rencana ‘Women to the fore’)

Sebaliknya, ianya NST (akhbar pesaing The Star) yang memberitakan perkara Hannah disiasat polis. [Ruj. ‘Subang rep called in by police‘ / NST, 22 April 2012).

NST melaporkan:

“Subang Jaya assemblyman Hannah Yeoh was called in by the police to assist in investigations over an allegation that she had slandered the MCA. The DAP representative arrived at the SS17 police station here at 10.15am yesterday to give her statement.”

Juga kenapa The Star tidak membuat follow-up tentang kes pemalsuan gambar lucah Tee Hooi Ling?

These MCA women have come under such vicious attacks but yet the party and its purported mouthpiece has not lifted a finger to help or protect them.

What kind of men cannot protect their own women?!

Sistas doing it for themselves

<QUOTE>

11 Oct 2011: Beliawanis MCA strongly condemns the blatant violation of rights of women and insult of young women in politics by irresponsible political parties. We are extremely disappointed with the remarks and comments in social media that insult the character and dignity of young women who took part in the recently concluded MCA Youth Annual General Meeting.

The degrading remarks by the opposition over the week have hurt the feelings of women in Malaysia. The remarks have caused much distress and emotional anguish among young women involved who are now being exploited by opportunists for their political mileage. We demand that they stop the offensive and deplorable comments. We demand that they stop demeaning women.

Beliawanis MCA is also gravely disturbed by the recent postings in Suara Keadilan Malaysia blog <www.suarakeadilanmalaysia.wordpress.com/mca-sugar-daddys-cadre-virgin-women-bodyguards-to-prostitute-for-umno> which depicts lewd and pornographic images of women and linking young women’s participation in politics.

We are appalled by the dirty tactic employed by the irresponsible parties who stooped to such low methods to further their political agenda. Beliawanis MCA hereby demand for the posting to be removed from Suara Keadilan Malaysia blog and a public apology from the author.

Beliawanis MCA is also disappointed by the fact that women leaders in Pakatan Rakyat have not stepped up to condemn the barrage of derogatory remarks in both print and online media. We are upset that these leaders who claimed to represent women’s voice and sought fair, just and equal society have been silent and thus indirectly condones such below-the-belt attacks on women. …

Beliawanis MCA is also dismayed that Gan Pei Nei, [PKR] State Assemblywoman for Rawang and Lee Khai Loon, PKR Youth Information Chief have yet to respond to calls for them to apologize and retract their statements last week which also insulted and hurt the feelings of young women in MCA.

<UNQUOTE>

Keputusannya: Tee Hooi Ling 24, Gan Pei Nei 501

Tak usah The Star berselindung lagi.

Dayus? Bacul?

Hannah Yeoh dilaporkan The Star sebagai menegur pegawai kanan perkhidmatan awam kerana tidak menghadiri sidang DUN Selangor.

The Star memetik Hannah sebagai berkata:

“Senior officers must attend the sittings and not give it a miss. Most of the time we see that the senior officers are missing from their seats.”

Periuk mengata cerek hitam neh. “Lackadaisical” government officers must attend the sittings and not give it a miss, konon.

  1. The Star editors have been hypnotized by Hannah Yeo’s beauty and charms!! Hahaha.. The Star will eventually moving to the PR’s side. Who is their latest columnist right now? No other than Marina Mahathir!. Luckily that Nurul Izzah is too dumbfounded to write any article except “karangan sekolah” if not we can see her mind stupidity. Both of those girls (Hannah & Izzah) are really “malas”.

    1. We have the greatest of respect for Tun Mahathir
Its a shame that his daughter went to the dark side(under guile of righteousness).

Whatever it is, she has her own mind and opinion. And can choose.

Isn’t that proof enough that democracy and right of opinion is alive and well in Malaysia?

      Bersih konon.
      Bah….!!

    2. “The Star will eventually move to PR’s side”. Sorry, but truth be told, The Star moved to PR’s side a long time ago. All there is left is for The Star to officially say that it is the Opposition’s paper.

Marina Mahathir is vastly overrated. Yet people still pay attention to what she writes and says. As for Nurul Izzah, well, the less said, the better.

As for Hannah Yeoh, she’s also overrated, both intellectually and in terms of looks, Intellectually, she has the intelligence of a dingo, after all, she graduated from an Aussie university, that land of the dingos.

      1. The Star is a pathetic split personality.

Some of its very top news editors doubtless are genuine establishment types.

Some of its more astute writers (but how many Jocelines can there be?) are critical thinkers but the ones that write somewhat critically (Baradan is one example) of Pakatan are often thrown stones.

On certain topics, The Star necessarily has to toe the line, e.g. Bersih.

On certain others, The Star has to take orders, like the CSL-LGE debate.

After all, it is MCA that pays their salary — (carma) cari makan ma.

But even journalists have the freedom of personal allegiances (DAP) or personal fawning (like for Hasnah Yeop or MM) b’cos at the end of the day, MCA is still more democratic than DAP.

Some publications are more consistent in their character. Say The Economist: from cover to back, their corporate identity is evenly reflected in the magazine content.

Whereas in The Star, it’s patchy. What Ahmad Ibrahim calls “subversion” is the pro-DAP content sneaked in,

be it in the form of slant (extolling Saint Hannah), emphasis (or alternatively playing down, like the short, unsympathetic 127-word article on Tee Hooi Ling), omission (Wanita MCA and Beliawanis almost invisible compared to their Pakatan counterparts) or reporters urging their audience to read between the lines.

The upshot is that the employer (Huaren Holdings, Star majority shareholder that is MCA’s investment arm) can buy from the staff their services but not their souls. The Chinese / English-speaking Indian souls belong to DAP.

Hence what we see is the split personality in The Star. Obviously “orders from the top” (i.e. MCA) do not micro-manage the daily output of The Star but only vet the political stories on the front page and important BN issues.

Consequently, the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde mood swings of the paper. Which results in the blackout of news (1) bugger MCA lah — not bothering to report on Tee Hooi Ling’s travails) & (2) protect DAP — the deliberate silence about the police investigation on Hannah Yeoh wrt the allegation of fitnah against her.

Kinda pathetic that the paper is not able to be what it wants to be — a ‘freedom fighter’ in the opposition ranks. Kinda sad to see the paper coping with having its secret ambition stifled.

Thus poor Star is falling between two stools.

On the one hand, DAPsters are calling for its boycott b’cos the paper due to its ownership, has been unable to shake off the perception of itself as an MCA mouthpiece.

On the other hand, its pro-DAP undertones (inasmuch as the sympathizers can push the envelope) may not be realised or appreciated by the DAPster constituency.

        Sad.

      2. This comment probably explains why you are no longer in the newspaper biz.

The Star obviously wants to sell newspapers. Of course, they must write to appeal to their readers. It’s not a matter of ‘split personality’. Their readers are changing, so they must change as well. It’s just common sense to do it gradually. They test the waters by printing a few articles that are anti-establishment, a few others that are pro-establishment and then they sprinkle a picture or two of pork chops every once in a while to see who objects!

And for you to compare theStar with the Economist– what a joke! Using a venerable publication such as the Economist for comparison certainly makes you an elitist. I wonder why the opposition hasn’t accused you of being one already!? Instead they use the tired ol’ papagomo-like tactics.

Am I having a split personality for pointing this out? No, I just point out what’s logical.

“they sprinkle a picture or two of pork chops” to test the waters … LOL. — Helen

  2. This is typical of the opposition strategy

    a) gangsterical, below the belt style(figuratively and literally) and take no prisoners method

    b) infiltration sun tzu style.-destroy opponents from within.
Seelah they have so many tentacles everywhere. Whether its funded or not nobody knows-if funded they must have a deep pocket

    c) good media painting method. Good public image.
Never do anything, no contribution never mind so long the media hype the politician up.

Surely their motto would be its the end that counts not the means.

    1. To summarize what you’ve just said gratitute, the Opposition’s method is based on infiltration and subversion.

      1. Thanks AI

Infiltration is very effective and very very much employed by them.

Look at what Tenagita is trying to do to our nation.

Also bar council, PAS Erdogan, teachers to be(UPSI), varsity students. Who knows, the extent of infiltration by these samseng politik maybe wide

Recall the poker bluff of taking over of Putrajaya on 16/9/2008. Perhaps it was via infiltration of turncoats MP.

Infiltration may also require continuous flow of money.
        Guess where it comes from?

  4. Star, MPH, what do they have in common? They belong to MCA. The other day, I went to MPH Subang Jaya, and what did I find displayed on their window showcase? One book about the possible downfall of BN and another on a book by Syed Husin Ali. That says a lot I guess about what Helen is trying to say about the Star paper.

  5. Bonjour ! I suis desole, mon Francais est vraiment mauvais. Mes excuses.
    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

B’cos I do not want to see MCA “wiped out” as the DAP & their DAPsters keep threatening. — Helen

      1. Thanks for the distraction AI

French is indeed a beautiful language to the ear
Their ladies are a sight to be behold to the eyes

If only the opposition could speak French ……
        (to counteract their stench)

        Hmm…

      you know, just sayin’… ;)

      1. *should be “ce blog d’helen”. not that anybody cares, i think. i’m just anal like that. :D

Fuck French, elitist assholes most of them. I’ve worked in a French company where they treated all Asians like their colonial subjects.

      To translate:

BN supporters are regarded with a kind of repugnance by the supporters of LGE. When the DAP version of the opposition became the dominant political party among the Chinese community, the mere suspicion of betrayal would send a person to the burning stake more readily than a belief in MCA, which in turn became a kind of ‘heresy’.

  6. Actually, there is one question that I would like to ask any readers out there. What’s the daily circulation of The Star anyway ? How many people actually read The Star on a daily basis ? I m always curious that whenever I was at the newsstand, The Star is the most on display, in terms of copies.

    ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

HuaYong may choose to reply you in Chinese. Rojak lah blog saya ni. — Helen

    1. some readers, like mekyam, might reply to me in french. Plus I don’t think your blog is going to become rojak. Your blog has standard. And thanks Helen, for not editing some of the stuff I wrote on your blog earlier. Merci Helen.

      1. oops it should be “not posting some of the stuff I wrote earlier”. Thanks Helen

      2. Rojak sedap apa. Nothing wrong with rojak. Some say the solution to racial polarization is to make the “rojak” population the majority…

  8. I don’t really get it. Why is Tenaganita involved in all this too ? Isn’t it a non-governmental organization promoting the welfare of foreign workers and other oppressed and poor people in Malaysia ? And Irene Fernandez, as we all know is a member of Bersih’s steering committee. So after Bersih didn’t quite live up to the hype, now smearing the name of the country, saying Malaysia is unsafe for foreign workers, is the next game plan ? If this doesn’t work out, I wonder what’s next ?

    1. Devils under the guise of good.
      Bigger Wolf under kambing skin

Masking behind perfect terms like Bersih, Keadilan, Rakyat, Democracy, Equality etc. when its all about sabotaging our country so that it would be easier to grab power when rakyat suffer, chaos abounding. Take a good look and you will notice that they never practice these ideal things within their organisations themselves.

Notice also that their portals have “Malaysian..” prefix?
If only the Malaysian name can be copyrighted so as to disallow such smearing of our beloved country name.

    2. from where i’m sitting, smearing the name of the country has been the gameplan for some [those who have been alert know who the enemy within are] for quite sometime now.

i do believe it’s an on-going strategy until a certain objective is achieved. obstructionism is another… :(

    1. OMG, The Star = Buletin Mutiara

And some more, this article is ranking among the paper’s Most Viewed

  9. Yes seriously, this is indeed news, for the DAP fanboys and fangirls. They will now say the Caliph of Pinang is noble and just, and they will say “where is BN’s contribution ?”. By the way, when the reckoning is near, the scoundrel (read : DAP) will do just about anything to postpone the inevitable.

  10. I must say Helen, language does not really matter, as we have now probably French and Thai commentors in your blog too.

Naturally it is one’s own prerogative what language that one desire to use like how you thought why not start something in Malay which is our national language that I believe that each one of us should know besides English which of course is widely used.

The condescending attitude of a few should not be a deterrent on the cause that we Malaysians pursue or what you intend to provide but understand it should be sidelined for the few summer soldiers and sunshine patriots. Maybe we should start with Sanskrit & Latin as well, what do you think?

Like Gratitude, I think it would be ‘distracting’. — Helen

    1. Maybe the distraction is meant to serves its purpose. All gold is no glitter. Who knows what or how many chameleon lies within one unless you have personally dealt with them besides in the cyber blog.

      1. My blog is a public domain & open for everyone to participate & evaluate content. Unlike ‘protected’ Twitters or blocker Twit or closed Facebook. There is a danger over there of like-minded people only chattering among themselves & no outsider allowed in to counter the incitement.

    2. Who is the Thai commenter? Language aside, I think Helen would agree with me that accuracy is what matters. Which ever language one chooses to communicate in, it’s important to get one’s point across accurately and correctly.

Helen, I am sure, is a grammar nazi at heart. I am sure if she wanted to, she could lay waste to all the commenters. She’d modify, clarify, edit, redact, and proofread to oblivion all those who can’t meet her standards (if she chose to, of course). It would be a grammatical holocaust.

I would not be surprised if she (or someone like her) tipped off the opposition about the bad grammar in the new malaysian passport:

      http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2012/04/15/a-passport-to-bad-english/

Did you know that all Malaysians living abroad have to register with the nearest Malaysian embassy? i was in korea and thailand for years and didn’t even care to find the nearest malaysian embassy let alone register with one.

      1. “Which ever language one chooses to communicate in, it’s important to get one’s point across accurately and correctly.”

i can’t agree more. and may i add… at the very least, please lah make an effort to write with some coherence. how on earth can anyone engage a person’s points that come across as gibberish with big words and awkward turn-of-phrases thrown in like some garish make-up?

[*if anyone feels the shoe fits, then the person can safely assume dialah cinderalla! ;) ]

btw, i checked the newest passport against my old passports. looks like the appalling grammar is only in the recent ones. darn it! ini mesti pegawai2 imigresen baru dgn penguasaan bahasa inggeris yg tak empuk pergi memandai-mandai tukar sebab fikir benda lama semua tak bagus. kepala otak berjambul betullah…

  11. gratitute, since when did I become your ma cherie ? ma cherie = my darling. You should say that to someone else. hahaha !

    1. everyone else is cherie except for one other guy that shares your acronym and his pack of wolves.

  12. Helen, since we have Karpal vs Hadi on the Islamic State issue as the latest “drama in town” (read today’s NST), maybe you could write something on it. Too much attention on MCA, Hannah Yeoh, just too exhausting.

    1. “Karpal, the only opposition leader who has consistently voiced out against Pas’ hudud agenda, said it was ‘unfortunate’ that Hadi had been making statements which could damage Pakatan’s prospects of taking over Putrajaya at this critical stage.” — NST today

Quite ‘unfortunate’ that Karpal is the only one in DAP to voice out. Yet the DAPsters condone their party & PAS sleeping in the same bed with their backs turned to each other — a situation of benefit more to a certain in flagrante delicto De Facto (wakakakaka).

But the guffawing aside, it’s fun to now watch how Dear Kim’s hatchet men (bloggers) will now attempt justify the DAP in Pakatan position.

  13. Dear Helen,

    What a joke!…..

    1. talking about cleaning own house first

      it brings these to mind

why not Bersih sets on PKR first with respect of their irregular voting?
And there are also many disciplinary/criminality issue within their fraternity that need more urgent attention to avoid repetition.

  14. Cucu tulang padang,

Sekurang kurang nya Dr Chua berani bertanggungjawab.

Saya lihat puluhan anak muda mengisi borang ahli UMNO.

    Satu renungan untuk kita semua.

    1. Yeah, they closed off the parking to public wef Friday

      Bravo UMNO
      Stay Strong and United

  15. Helen

Forgive me for saying this it not so much PR tetapi pengaruh Gereja saya sudah memerhatikan article dan juga editorial mereka sejak beberapa tahun kebelakangan ini……if u doubt it pls dig further

    NadZree,

Pengarang kumpulan Star Wong Chun Wai sendiri mengaku hari ini:

“… now there is a trend among some Malaysian church leaders and Christian-based writers, who support Pakatan Rakyat, to quote from Scripture to justify the need to vote against the government in the coming general election. This is done during Sunday sermons and via email …” http://thestar.com.my/columnists/story.asp?file=/2012/5/13/columnists/onthebeat/11282560&sec=onthebeat

    Helen

    1. As I mentioned not now or recently…..sudah beberapa tahun kebelakangan ini……

Pemimpin DAP pun dah pakai kereta besar sekarang. — Helen

    1. Maybe want check out in Penang, a new Malay elite class in the form of power and project brokers has emerged in Penang. They hang around Komtar. Before this, they were followers of UMNO driving 10 year old Proton cars. But now that they have jumped ship, they switched to continental cars big house and extra wives. Money knows no boundary in politics, and Lim Guan Eng doesn’t seem to mind about it, as long as money from big time developers keep flowing in.

    2. Saudara Nadzree sibuk bertanya kenapa orang umno kaya raya sedangkan hakikatnya tidak semua orang Umno itu kaya. Bagaimana pula dengan kemewahan yang dinikmati pemimpin pakatan rakyat seperti azmin & anwar ibrahim sendiri??

      1. Saudara anai,

Fahamkan sepenuh nye maksud komen saya dahulu jangan menjerit tak tentu hala nanti orang kata awak……..

Maaf Helen kena jawap yang ini sebab……..

      1. I’m sorry Nadzree. May be I was a bit too emotional that time. After a useless discussion with my friends who support DSAI, I was kinda angry I could say.

Anyhow, do you know the young lawyer who lead the Lawyer for Liberty movement? She was my junior back then & to see her so ‘vocal’ with the police’s brutality & Bersih issues & refuse to accept that other Malaysians are not in line with her to the extend of saying that those people are stupid or blind, that’s really unacceptable.

By the way, are you trying to say something bad about me? Just say it, don’t let me fill in the blank.

  17. In french?? wow… I don’t see this language in PR’s blogs except ‘kerajaan bodoh’ & so on.. Anyway, nice blog & I already put in in my reading list.

  18. ….and we have reached HERE now…..since 1998…..specifically 2nd September 1998!..

    The MIND!!!

  19. From the Star (2008)….

“I am quite a simple person really. I hardly wear make-up and if there is one thing I am crazy about, it would be earrings,” said the 29-year-old.

She is also not the type of woman you would find in a hair salon.
    =====================================================

Fast forward 4 years and now we have sleek, over made up, glamorized and over-hyped PR machine.
