Are women or men better cooks?
It is not a frivolous question. It follows on from the preceding posting, Men are geniuses because … they don’t have to do housework. Continue reading “Political ‘genius’ 101 for Monyet King”
… they don’t have to do housework.
At least very few do, and even so, men hardly do a fraction of the housework that women do.
Since I do housework, I’m not a genius lah. Continue reading “Men are geniuses because …”

When I read Syed Akbar Ali’s take on the Pakatan Rakyat shadow cabinet, it sparked ROTFL that caused my living room to be polished squeaky clean from all that guling-guling on the floor.

When Joceline Tan once wrote in passing that Buletin Mutiara, the Penang government publication which is distributed to the entire state is filled with photographs of Kim Guan Eng “grinning broadly, attending dinners, inspecting project sites and carrying babies”, not many of us quite realised the great extent of truth in her description.
Glancing at the latest issue of Buletin Mutiara online however, I found that almost every page of the magazine from cover to back is indeed plastered with photos of the chief minister.

Seorang pembaca NadZree bertanya:
Continued from ‘White man, ‘yellow pumpkin’, Christianized Indians‘, and continues to ‘Cerita koboi dan Indian di Jelapang‘.
When the most ‘righteous’ people exalt their idea of nation under God, this is what happens to “low class” tribes.
The video scenes depict the massacre of the Sioux at Wounded Knee Creek on 29 Dec 1890 by 500 white soldiers. Chief Sitting Bull had been killed a little while before that at a nearby location. Continue reading “‘Superior’ Christians wiping out ‘inferior’ cultures”

Reuters had this story yesterday, ‘Malaysia government losing Chinese support’:
“The trend risks deepening racial fault lines if, as some analysts expect, the lead party in the coalition, Umno effectively ‘gives up’ on the Chinese vote and focuses on championing Malay rights to secure support in rural areas.”
I wrote along the same track too in my FMT article yesterday saying, “Post GE, the establishment will be decidedly Malay and the opposition Chinese-dominated”.
With the old MACC investigation on Azmin Ali surfacing again, we see the most revealing squirms coming from the quarters that are campaigning most ferociously for Pakatan Rakyat.
Now what’s interesting about this squirming is the visible shifting in positions, or if you want another word, ‘Change’.

A survey by Merdeka Center on the prime minister’s approval rating post-Bersih 3.0 showed that satisfaction with him remained very high still at 82% among lower income (<RM1,500 monthly) respondents.
However the poll found that only half of middle-class households (RM3,000-RM5,000/mth) were satisfied with the PM.
Semua screenshot dirakam pukul 8-9 malam.
FMT banyak melaporkan tentang Azmin Ali hari ini. Termasuk cerita baris pertama (terkiri) bertajuk ‘MCA boss on PKR’s ‘overnight saints‘. Betul-betul kesian kat Dr Chua ni. Beliau muncul di FMT, di Utusan, di Insider tapi tak keluar-keluar pun di Star.
