Laporan ‘Haris quits as MCLM president‘ oleh The Star pada 2 Jan 2012 menjelaskan:

“MCLM was formed in 2010 as a platform to offer ‘carefully vetted and chosen’ candidates in the general election, to be fielded by Opposition parties”.

Rujuk kenyataan akhbar Haris yang mengatakan “many of the 16 candidates (from SNAP for the 2011 Sarawak state election) are regarded as high-risk, integrity-wise”.

Tajuk muka 18 ialah ‘taste of China’s bold flavours‘.

‘Excellent candidate material’

“The ABU initiative looks to displace Umno / BN from Putrajaya through the 13th General Election, by ensuring that the people wisen up to the wholesale looting of the national wealth that has taken place throughout Umno / BN’s rule …” (sumber: sini)

Haris memblog:

“Azmin says he does not  have that amount of money.

“I’d like to know if there was, then, some RM10 million sitting in his and / or his wife’s bank accounts and, if so, how they came by that money?”

Mempromosi ‘personality cult’

So what will make the Chinese happiest?’:

“how is it possible that MCA can be defamed? In my opinion, one can only defame MCA if MCA has a good reputation to start with. MCA today is not worthy to be defamed.” (huruf tebal oleh Hannah)

Mengikut hujahnya, “one can only defame MCA if MCA has a good reputation to start with”.

Jika diikutkan Hukum Halal Hannah, “one can only defame Umno if Umno has a good reputation to start with”.

Ataupun “one can only defame blogger xyz if he/she has a good reputation to start with”, dsb.

Kenapa agaknya Twit Meter menunjukkan kian hari kian bertambah jumlah bilangan Twit?

Pada Jun 12, kaunter Twit Meter menunjukkan ada 46,393 orang Twits.

Pada Jun 16, bilangannya berkembang menjadi 46,532 orang.

Semalam terdapat 46,734 Twits and hari ini 46,765 orang. Maksudnya selang 12 hari, Twits sudah bertambah 372 orang ataupun pada purata, there are a dozen Twits born every day.

Hannah Yeoh (DAP-Subang Jaya) … .

“SPRM Selangor masih meneruskan siasatan berhubung kes berkenaan walaupun kelancarannya terganggu dengan kematian saksi kes, Teoh Beng Hock.”

Haris Ibrahim tidak berpuashati dengan status NFA (no further action) kes BPR Azmin Ali tahun 1999 tetapi tidak berkata apa-apa tentang kes SPRM Hannah Yeoh tahun 2009?

Bukankah Haris Ibrahim pencipta Integrity Meter yang pernah mendakwa “many of the 16 candidates (from SNAP for the 2011 Sarawak state election) are regarded as high-risk, integrity-wise”?

Calon-calon DAP kegemaran Haris no risk kerana mereka sudah mencapai sainthood kot.

  1. “Seorang pembaca yang menggelar dirinya ‘LOL’ meninggalkan komen berbentuk soalan retorik yang berikut:

    Sebenarnya LOL tersasar.” – Helen

HMMM,,,, WAIT A MINUTE. ISN’T THAT A RESPONSE FROM YOUR OWN AS FOLLOWS:

“Re: “Umno behaves like ‘big boss’ because it is the Boss in BN.” Yes. So imagine for a moment that you Shamshul are a Chinese. How would you appraise your future in M’sia? — Helen”

… AND PLEASE DON”T JUST QUOTE A PORTION OF THE COMMENT WITHOUT TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION OF THE WHOLE ARGUMENT i.e

    “Politically, Economically or Socially?

Will it as bad as in the Malays in Singapore to PAP and the present Malays in Pulau Pinang to DAP?

The Chinese won’t have any future at all since UMNO will remain the “Boss”?

….AND TO THAT MAY I ADD THAT YOU LATER ON RAISED THE ISSUE OF “GROWING CHINESE SENTIMENT IN THE LAST FEW DECADES”..

ISN’T THAT AN INDIRECT ADMISSION OF THE ISSUE IN QUESTION?

SHOULDN’T IT BE REWORDED AS “THE GROWING DAP SENTIMENT ?”

THE BOTTOM LINE IS HELEN.. “Air Dicincang Tak Akan Putus”.

    1. Sorry, were we talking at cross purposes?

I’ve just made some adjustments in the body text to the para where your comment was quoted.

      To further our discussion,

One, my point is that the DAPsters – whose loud volume is hijacking the Chinese voice – can simply say any nasty thing about anyone and not just against Malays and Muslims alone.

I’m not Malay and neither are my Hindraf friends but we’re pretty high on the DAPster hit list as their targets for fitnah and foul language (thrown at us).

Two, “Jaga hati dan perasaan kami (orang Cina) wahai semua orang Umno dan Melayu”. Take that iconic Umno general assembly, one of those years that featured Hisham’s keris-waving performance, and some of the Melayu and Umno delegates comments telecast live which did not jaga hati.

More specifically, instances of tak jaga hati were the Si Sepet and Si Kaki Botol slurs by the BTN deputy director and some insensitive remarks about Thaipusam and in another case Hindu prayer strings (“like dog collar” said a Malay school principal who punished Indian students for wearing them).

“Jaga hati dan perasaan kami” – if this had been observed, then DAP would not be so popular today. The party is getting almost all the Chinese votes b’cos it is appealing to Chinese grievances.

If there were no grievances for DAP to feed on, they would not have the political capital that is propelling them now.

“Air dicincang tak akan putus”? If there were to be any race riots, what use would it be for me to try yelling, ‘Hey, I’m not a DAPster’ so please leave me alone.

      1. Oh yes,,,”jaga hati dan perasaan” also include the unnecessary proclamation of “ketuanan”. In the past, Chinese have generally supported the government of the day for they are practical, and being able to make a good living in a safe, convenient and fair environment will suffice, However, due to the antics and rhetoric of politicians, things get very murky and dangerous today.

In any case, putting matters in the right perspective, it must be admitted also that a large segment of Malays are also against BN/UMNO. A study of the low popular votes obtained by BN at GE12 will show just that.

      2. fatcat Oh yes,,,”jaga hati dan perasaan” also include the unnecessary proclamation of “ketuanan”.

Hmmm…. kalau dapat kat awak, awak pun rasanya tak kan lepaskan peluang tu.

      3. lol…

  2. Francis Light was an errant tenant who refused to pay his rent. Naturally, DAPsters and assorted anglophiles will tell you differently.

How is it that when PR promises RM 1 million per year to each constituency, it doesn’t count as vote buying? Unless, of course, the funds are not intended to go beyond the pockets of the various ADUNs…

  3. Is Haris Ibrahim wearing his pyjamas in the video? He looks like he just woke up — he is so unkempt. He has a face made for radio. Obviously his face isn’t photogenic enough to go on mainstream media, hence the need to appear online with the ‘alternative media’.

Why does he remind me of an uglier version of Samuel L. Jackson, minus the acting talent? Must be his dark skin and flaring nostrils.

Speaking of inappropriate attire, read this:

    http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2012/06/24/student-in-yellow-nabbed-at-najib-function/

He’s just a kid. Why is he trying to create controversy? Who put him up to this?

This is how US police treat students who protest. They pepper-spray them in the face: [YouTube]

In UK, they charge the students using horses: [YouTube]

I commend our plain clothes polices for being in control of the situation. They must have exercised a lot of restraint. The kid deserves a “TBH” (i.e. he deserves to make intimate contact with the side-walk at high — nay terminal — velocity).

  4. LOL, if you have been long enough in this blog, you would know what Shamsul represents. Shamsul is our own mini UMNO in this blog, we accept him and embrace his thoughts to widen an UMNO perspective that he is keen on enhancing. Saying that, at least he is genuine in his thoughts and how he feels which I don’t feel is wrong.

Now coming back to your comment, the thing I can’t stand is a double headed snake which most Malaysians are, and now further propelled by the DAPsters to shoot down the messengers rather than tackling the issues that effects Malaysian per se. Like what Helen says, “I’m not Malay and neither are my Hindraf friends but we’re pretty high on the DAPster hit list as their targets for fitnah and foul language (thrown at us)”.

The question here is it does not matter whether it is Malay or the others but Malaysians amongst us to digest rather than digress whenever truth and reality for the masses are brought forward for flavoring the political agenda whether it is BN or PR.

LOL, I am sure you don’t take us malaysian to be suckers just because you have Facebook, Twitter and convoluted alternative medias to propaganda oppositions views as it takes much more than that to change the landscape of the Malaysian politics.

I think in Malaysia, it is no more a factor of Malays, Chinese, Indian or lain-lain, but how we are kept drawn apart by the politicians. Every race should have its place under the sun in Malaysia if people like us can understand and accept humanity amongst us is the prevailing factor to ensure that any governance whether it is BN/PR toes the line according to the wish of the masses irrespective of the origin.

Why do we always turn everything into politics with a tit for tat attitude unless we are all the double headed snake who can goyang goyang our kepala as long it serves our own individual need without a concern for the rest who thrive and long to live amongst us.

    Celaka punya England kalah lagi.

    1. Love that England lost. Teaches those Anglophiles a lesson that outside their Anglo world, there are so many countries that are better!

      1. Anglophiles really are an annoying bunch. When talking about the teams they only talk about players who play in England. Really annoying when it comes to Spain especially.

    2. and on that may I quote Helen “Just because I am not a fan of Coke doesn’t mean I am a fan of Pepsi” or something to that effect. That is how long I have been following this blog fyi.

      Please do not assume….
      __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Thanks for your support. I was stressed yesterday. Today’s posting (just up) explains why, and what ‘they’ have been trying to do to me. — Helen

      1. 1. “The aim of an argument or discussion should not be victory, but progress” Joseph Joubert, 1754- 1842; a French moralist and essayist, famous for his Pensées or random thoughts and essays on life, religion, science, ethics, and social issues,

        2. “Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

Frankly you have done/achieved all of that.

Disagreement doesn’t mean that we hate each other guts, but rather a manifestation of our “true self interest” derived based on previous and present experiences and the probability of future event that may affect our stake.
