I saw the headline and my first thought was: ADUN Subang Jaya LOL

What is that 50th anniversary NECF are celebrating? Do they mean there were no Christians before 1962…

  2. Frankly I am quite disappointed with JKM. I was expecting JKM to expose real conwomen like Hasnah Yeop, Eli Wong and the rest of the DAP selendang squad. Instead JKM targets small fries who resort to begging to cari makan. These beggers merely cheated handful of Muslims while the Selendang Squad has conned the entire nation.

    1. And you have proof of the con? Thats a serious allegation asshole. Ready to put your mouth where your arse is? Fuckwit.

  3. Sorry to hijack the thread for a bit Helen but I gotta tell you this which might “inspire” for another story. Read juicy stuff I promise.

Look at today’s the Star, it only cements my view that it is not just the Rocket’s sister publication but the daily print version. Just read the story below. Does the story sounds like the Star belongs to MCA,the sworn enemy of DAP? The writer (no by-line BTW) obviously swooning. Have they ever carried such story on any BN leaders’s wife ???

    =================================================

GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s wife Betty Chew has undergone a drastic style makeover, reported Kwong Wah Yit Poh‘s street edition.

According to the daily, when she previously used to dress in mostly slacks and shorts to achieve that “career woman” look, the Kota Laksamana assemblyman has taken to sporting trendier clothes.

The 48-year-old’s style is now more elegant.

The daily wrote that during the four-day investiture ceremony held in conjunction with the Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas’ 74th birthday in July, Chew had worn stylish dresses, complete with tasteful accessories.

Although many people were caught by surprise with her transformation, the new look had garnered praise.

When she took to the catwalk in a fashion show during a bridal showcase event at the Straits Quay in Tanjong Tokong on Saturday, many people were stunned.

It was also reported that although Chew was still sporting the career woman look until recently, she adopted her new style after having to attend more functions with Lim.

Chew, who came into the limelight after Lim’s imprisonment on Aug 25, 1998, was the Durian Daun assemblyman from 1999 to 2004.

    1. Had it been rainning lately in Penang that rainbows are becoming a common phenomenon?

      1. Penang folks hari-hari kena kencing from the highest floors of Komtar. Until rainbows appear in the sky…

    2. I concur – this is obviously a sycophant special from The Star. What is CSL as President doing with all these sabotage from his own people? Even when LGE insulted the TAR College as a consolation prize – no graduates, no academician from TARC even dared to speak up to refute LGE.

Also last weekend again another long feature article discussing why EPF should not increase withdrawal age to 60 in the light of new retirement age. They are flogging this issue to stir up anger and hatred. No wonder my maid is using the Star newspaper to wrap doggie poo.

“no graduates, no academician from TARC” refuted LGE b’cos ‘The Scissors’ didn’t assign any reporters to interview them (?) just like how the paper deliberately buries other stories. — Helen
