Bilik perang BN

“Overall, our election machinery is working and moving now. But there is a need for it to be further boosted with the polls looming.”

Seperti biasa, The Star sepi sahaja

“Even looking at Pakatan’s manifesto, ‘Buku Jingga’, there is absolutely nothing for the Indians there. Those who questioned it were quickly labeled as racists who only want to promote segregation in Malaysia according to race.” — ulasan T. Rajasingam (boleh baca sini)

Sekurang-kurangnya jentera media MIC ada buat kerja.

Bagaimana pula dengan yang MCA punya?

GUNTING dalam Lipatan

.
The Star

Inilah isi minda The Star selain ia masih lagi enggan mengaku bahawa kolumnisnya telah menciplak – The Star still not acknowledging its plagiarism’

Baca ‘Star shows middle finger to Chuas’

  1. you want to know what these people really are ? just look at the news they spit out on a daily basis. nothing on nation building, nothing on community service, nothing on racial tolerance, nothing on character building.

what they spit out daily, in large volume, here goes ; gigolo, rape cases, gossips.

now you know what these people are made of. when they accused people of dirty deeds, they are actually talking about themselves.

you are what you eat, as the saying goes.

may I add that you are what you accuse people of.

    1. PPP,
correct-correct-correct. “mengata dulang paku serpih…” look can be deceiving one. hair very skema only. sikat tepi… tapi kena baling asytray, apa pasai? hemmm…

BN meeting should warn MCA: take it, leave it or #$%^ off with The Star. with so many postings here in this blog, they still play dumb. or is it they never play, they really dumb. hemmm…

  3. The pro-BN papers are not getting it right. I know what they are doing wrong but if they want the answers, the papers have to pay me. And fast, before it’s too late.

  6. Tak silap saya Star pernah kena sound sekali dulu semasa menyiarkan berita kemenangan permatang pauh, antara ayat nya….he is look more like our PM than ….(PM at that time), jadi ….masalahnya MCA mungkin dichop sebagai mengawal media, tak bebas dan sebagainya, namun dia terlupa istilah tersebut dicipta barat yang hanya menuju kepada orang lain tapi tak pernah ingat nak mempraktikkan.

mana ada media yang tak ada agenda ? seolah olah memiliki kereta, tetapi orang lain yang bawak, bawak pulak kalau elok takpa lah, tapi (ambil contoh kereta syarikat, macam tulah keadaannya…..)

  7. Helen,

There is a saying “everybody is important but nobody is indispensable”. To ensure that MCA remains relevant, there is no other way than to put MCA directly against DAP in the coming election. Forget the time tested formula of putting MCA in Malay areas.

It will give ammunition to DAP . DAP will say MCA is unable to win in Chinese areas. By putting MCA in Chinese areas only, MCA has no choice but to fight for their life. And the chinese will have to ma ke a choice. To vote for MCA or vote themselves out of Federal govt.

    1. Shamshul,

The Chinese are quite determined to vote themselves (I say ‘them’ and not ‘ourselves” b’cos I’m not voting Pakatan) out of govt.

I don’t see how MCA can maintain its 15 Parliamentary seats. If they do any worse, they’ve promised to stay out of the govt. This promise must be kept.

Even their own paper keeps stabbing them. I’ve not met a single Chinese who tells me that he or his family or his Chinese friends/colleagues will vote BN.

So now the question to ponder is the extent of the impact of the GE13 results in the immediate aftermath and over the next 5 years as well as whether the Chinese have crossed the Rubicon (passed the point of no return).

      1. I think it will depend on when the election will take place. Now the chinese may say they want to vote themselves out of the govt but I think come next year they will change their tune. Why? ‘It’s the economy, stupid’ as Clinton had rightly said. Next year is going to be tough, economically speaking, both globally and locally.

The chinese have tasted the good life living in Malaysia and no way are they gonna sell their comfort for ideology. They have no qualm migrating abroad for comfort but none has migrated for ideology; unlike the malays (example Hishamudin Rais) and pseudo-malays (example RPK) imposing self-exile on pretext of ideology.

Malaysian chinese know when it comes to weathering the economic storm, BN has the upper hand. Compared to PKR team yang baru kena raba sikit by the local developers, dah tergadai seluar dalam..:-)

        1. “kena raba sikit by the local developers, dah tergadai seluar dalam”, hahaha.

Methinks it’s an inverse correlation: The more strident they hype themselves up along the Firster ideological line, the less rational (hence less pragmatic) they become in their decision-making.

Previously the votes to MCA were indeed pragmatic. This time around, the climate is different from previous GEs. The tsunami was unprecedented bar the 1969 GE. The overbearing, unthinking demeanour today adopted by certain opposition supporters hearken back to that displayed in May 1969.

I believe the Chinese voters are fey and GE13 will be the when they throw caution and restraint to the winds.

          1. Helen, the Chinese crossed the Rubicon in 2008 by voting for the opposition. In a sense, in 2008 they threw caution and restrained to the winds.

To HM syd, if the economy goes south next year, the Chinese will overwhelmingly vote for the opposition. In 2008, they voted for the opposition because the economy was sluggish and corruption was rampant, plus the arrogance of some duds in UMNO.

In the back of their minds, they have this misguided notion that the opposition can fix the economy. That’s why when the opposition’s alternative budget came out, their cheered loudly.

        2. Sound and wise opinion whether it is economic or ideology. Just a change of guards like in Penang with the Kg Buah Pala issue.

  8. Helen,

I believe the Chinese EVENTUALLY would want to associate with the winners. Becoming an ally with the losing party can be traumatic.

I hope many Chinese will take note that Malay votes is leaning towards UMNO. Hence, better join them rather than outside looking from outside corridor of power.

Or in plain language, they will realise they (the chinese) is NOT THE ONLY DETERMINING FACTOR in Malaysian political scene.

  9. Helen,

  10. kecondongan the star dah lama saya dapat rasakan.
