Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC) memiliki bangunan serbaguna di Seksyen 13, Petaling Jaya.
Diberitakan satu lagi bangunan baru lapan tingkat yang bernilai RM50 juta telah mula dibina oleh gereja itu pada bulan lepas dan akan siap Februari tahun depan.
Dream Centre (Fasa 2) akan mempunyai auditorium yang boleh mendudukkan seribu orang penonton serta dua buah dewan masing-masing boleh memuat 500 kerusi. DUMC juga bercadang memperbanyakkan jumlah bilik latihan berbanding yang dimiliki Dream Centre pada masa kini.

Dewan-dewan sembahyang DUMC yang sedia ada pun kelihatan amat canggih, seperti yang ada di Gereja City Harvest. Lihat gambar-gambar.

Malah K.L. Chan, iaitu pengarang Selangor Times, ghairah mentweet tentang kemudahan DUMC yang begitu hebat sekali – “awesome worship team n sound system — concert quality!” (screenshot bawah).
Nyata bahawa pihak evangelis menguasai media bahasa Inggeris dengan secara menyeluruh.
Hubungan DUMC dengan DAP
Selain itu DUMC juga bijak menggunakan media sosial seperti Facebook dan Twitter.
Evangelis Yeo Bee Yin, iaitu juru runding bagi kempen ICT pilihanraya DAP, ada kaitan dengan DUMC – lihat pautan Facebook tentangnya yang dibuat oleh pastor kanan DUMC.
Take the city for Jesus
Seperti Subang Rally, DUMC juga bercita-cita untuk memenangi Kuala Lumpur bagi Yesus – “How do we win our city for Jesus?” (screenshot laman Facebook DUMC, bawah).
Di samping strategi-strategi yang disusun rapi untuk “menakluk ibukota”, DUMC juga mempunyai “cell group”, yakni kumpulan dakwah, yang menggunakan bahasa pengantar bahasa Melayu dalam menjalankan kegiatan mereka.

this are actually businesses hiding behind religion. God didn’t ask for a rm 50 mil church and the last thing any devout and prayerful christian or catholic like myself wants is a ra-ra type church. religion is something spiritual not a pop concert

Sifat semulajadi manusia ialah kalau diberi betis hendakkan paha.
Pemurahnya Khalid ialah sangup beri paha meskipun apa yang diminta hanyalah sekadar betis.
Tamaknya pihak yang sudah dapat “PJ for Yesus” ialah hendakkan “KL for Yesus”.
Lepas ini apa pulak?
Perasan tak ada kat luar DUMC tu ada tv screen besar gedabak. Itu adalah agenda halus mereka untuk membiasakan orang ramai diluar melihat aktiviti mereka terutamanya aktiviti konsert yang lebih kepada keagamaan.
Seterusnya usaha murtad lebih mudah selepas itu dengan cara kepada orang Islam yang takut untuk memasukki DUMC cukuplah sekadar lepak diluar seperti cafe dan ruang pejabat di bangunan di sekitarnya.
Oleh itu, wajar PBT tidak membenarkan screen besar itu diletakkan di luar DUMC.

celakalah kita semua jika membiarkan musibat ni semua mendakyah (bukan dakwah) kristian envangelis kepada Melayu Islam. memang ada agendanya-tengok KPI mereka. [twit kpd najib, perkasa, rais yatim.]

There are some form of religious extremists exists in all religions and even among the unbelievers as well. Just can’t imagine what are the consequences if the Hindus, Taoists, Moslems and Atheists were to have had as much intentions and greed as the Evangelist?
In the context of religious freedom that these people are whining about lately, when they say “to take this for that”, all that has nothing to do with the religious teaching but more of worshiping the “divide and rule” deities. Is that what freedom meant for them?
In fact, it gets more scary knowing that they would do just about anything in order to satisfy the lust to be more dominance over the other group of people that Hannah Banana always referred them as the categorically “low class”! Now are we sure minority can’t rule papal state via proxy?

Apakah Pas sudah bersedia untuk mempertahankan hak mukmin dalam sebuah pakatan yang didominasi oleh suara-suara celupar para Evangelist?
Apakah PKR sudah bersedia untuk mempertahankan hak penganut Buddha dan Hindu dalam sebuah pakatan yang mana suara evangelist paling lantang?
Soalan ini perlu ditanyakan oleh mereka yang mengikuti perkembangan politik tanahair – baik secara pasif atau aktif – kerana perkembangan politik/agama muthakir ini amat tidak menyenangkan.
I am looking from a different angle. I am looking for answers for these questions:
1. Where are their source of funds? To operate in such manners requires hundreds of million ringgits and don’t tell me it is from public donations. DUMC must disclose if the funds came from overseas or via DAP’s coffers.
2. As I understand the approval for building such huge monsterosities are require approvals. And in PJ Sec 13, building new structures are sensitive due to its location, zonal regulations and due to the residents pressure groups’ vocal opposition. I wonder how this got approval. Did the usual Christian Talebans in the State govt pushed this through?
3. How come they are targetting 800 Myanmarese ? As I know most of the Myanmarese in Malaysia are Rohinya Muslims. Are they converting the Muslims and taking advantage of their low social standings ? Could they be offering bribes in the form of material and money to entice this group?

If it is coming from Dap’s coffer, it is a strong proof about how grateful the Dap is to its congregation. If we can compare Pas and Dap’s achievement what will we get? Oh yes, we can clearly recollects every contribution the Dap have delivered to its congregation but we can hardly remember Pas except for the hudud that Dap said they will support. Any Muslims would feel sad if they realize the difference here.
Wow Malaysia tiada kebebasan beragama. Skg saiz Gereja Evengelis sudah sama besar malah lebih besar daripada Masjid. Salvation=Convertion. Puak ni memang nak buat perang salib kot dgn org Islam.

Servis bahasa melayu? Bagaimana pula dengan bahasa arab? Bukankah mereka ingin mengikuti arab kristian yang menggunakan kalimah Allah – tapi tidak menyediakan servis bahasa arab adalah tidak masuk akal. Kerana Arab kristian menggunakan bahasa arab – bukan bahasa melayu dan juga bahasa inggeris.
Helen, isn’t Section 13 is the place the Star’s HQ used to be situated until moved out a few years ago? Any connection between these 2 ? Did the Star sell the land to DUMC? My curiosity is piqued….

Hye Helen Ang. Saya tiada apa komen tentang agama ini kecuali saya merasakan kebimbangan akan penyebaran bible berbahasa melayu dengan kalimah Allah dicatatkan. Ini boleh mengelirukan anak2 muda melayu yang kurang pendidikan agama. Sesungguhnya kita di malaysia kita boleh mengamalkan agama masing-masing sebagaimana peruntukan Perlembagaan perkara 11. Namun pihak gereja tidak boleh sewenang-wenangnya mengedarkannya di kawasan-kawasan sekolah melayu. Harap maaf dan saya mohon menyalin artikel Helen Ang ini ke blog saya. Sekian, terima kasih.
