“Agree LGE is champion for all Malaysian regardless their race. TTT [penceramah bernama Tan Tuan Tat] u should champion for Chinese if u so racist. I pray GOD send u to hell”.

Statistik pilihanraya 2008

.
Penyokong-penyokong DAP 2.0 mendakwa bahawa politikus evangelis mereka adalah jaguh “Malaysia for all Malaysians” yang buta warna kulit dan orang lain yang bukan bersifat Firster semestinya bigot-bigot belaka.

“Only dUMNO/BN speak racism,” kata mereka. Tapi yang peliknya parti ‘Malaysians for all’ tersebut tidak mempunyai seorang pun YB Melayu. Nada, eeelek.

Tempat DAP menang

DAP punya CEC

Fakta sebenar disorokkan. Dia sebenanrya hina mahkamah sebab nak tunjukkan diri sebagai juara. Itu saja.

  2. Had a talk with a collaegue. Seems my liberal front made him spill his beans as our conversation gravitated to politics as a DAPste and he also expressed his utter disgust at ethnic centric champions aka racists o and declare how Malaysia is better down an Indonesian path…

Well then…..let the 2million live pogrom and ban of subcontinent or sinocentric cultures and languages commence..

      1. Sorry, typos are very frequent since started using my samsung device and im currentlt overseas for some training hence the brief and erratic comment.

The GE mood is certainly setting , besides the raucous PASster, even the quiet colleagues have openly discussed politics. While most do not discuss in depth and give way to emotive conclusions, I am always amused that for example one collague of mine think that Malaysia should have gone down Indonesia path and specifically admire that religion is not emblozened in the Indonesia Pancasila which apparently treats everyone equal, either this collegue of mine is total nerd or just oblivious to the Indonesian bloody history of executing 1-2 million communist sympathizers, communal riots, Timor Leste invasion ,massive corruptio and the supressment of non Indonesian cultures and languages…and yes he liked Lim Guan Eng profile, its the only pic on his like thumbnail on his fb.

…I was being sarcastic and amused, it seems countries like Indonesia and even Myanmar are more admirable than any UMNO/BN govt past and present, such is the trickery of promise of change.

The pre revolutiom Iranians enjoyed the Iranian Revolution at first and later realized they were in deeper shiite….no movies, almost all western novels/books banned and 24 hours of ugly nik aziz type old men blowing fatimiad verses on its TV, possibility of being nuked by Israel or US..no wonder their young ppl wants to get out….maybe Malaysians will be lucky to understand what the Iranians felt ..for five years..

Sentiments aside…its just this..Its just that, ..be careful what you wish for…..

        1. Agree that the Dapsters hate Umno so much they would be willing trade Najib & his merry men for Ayatollahs & mullahs. And they don’t think of the Iran-like consequences. To them it’s ABU. Yang lain semua belakang kira.

    1. Okay, but Facebook commenters easier to verify identity compared to Anons.

“Former DAP Taman Seri Sungai Pelek branch chairman Tan Tuan Tat alleged that Lim was, in fact, a true champion of capitalists’ interests but masquerading as someone who had the peoples interest at heart. […]

Tan said if one were to scrutinise his five-year performance as Penang Chief Minister, Lim had not championed ordinary Chinese rights as he portrayed.”

      Tambahnya lagi:

“Tan claimed that since Lim helmed the Pakatan Rakyat state government, the DAP leader only facilitated development of high cost houses. He said these homes were beyond the reach of even the economically vibrant local Chinese, let alone others.

Tan blamed Lim’s drastic policy to hike up various development-related charges as the main cause for property prices to soar to an extraordinary level in Penang today. Tan alleged Lim had also allowed developers to build only houses worth RM1 million each in so-called prime areas across Penang.

But, Tan noted Lim had not commenced a single project to build affordable homes for the lower income group anywhere in the city.

He claimed that currently only rich foreigners can buy properties in Penang while developers were laughing all the way to the bank, thanks to Lim’s pro-rich policies.”

  6. I find it queer that only Chinese (mostly) think of LGE as a “champion of all Malaysians”. The ones I feel sorry for are actually the Malays. The Inidans and Orang Asal are screwed either way but the Malays who think that Pakatan will lead to a new dawn are going to be in for a shock when they realize that it is to the benefit of the DAP that the Malays are stuck in a rut of their own making.

There is no conflict in the evangelical movement when it comes to capitalism and culture unlike Islam. While the progeny of these evangelicals will be exposed to the best education which would faciliate social mobility, the Malays (excluding the Malay[sian] First, of course) will remain where they are content to accept the handouts that the DAP gives in the guise of socialist policies which are in fact religious ones.

Of course UMNO equally shares the blame but Anwar is far to clever to stop the con game and would be willing to let the DAP bank roll his reign.

    1. Even my most sensible Malaysian Chinese colleagues in my office have this unquestionable admiration for LGE, just peer into their facebook anthe first thing you see is LGE grining, not unlike the blind loyalty of PASsters to Nik Aziz and one of them is my Senior Engineer!!

I always find mainstream Malays of either divide are also insular with regards to the multicultural dimension of Malaysian politics. Te oblivious are PAS supporters whose agenda in most cases exclude the needs of non Muslims/Malays and revolved around voting to get to heaven and avoid being tortured in their graves, PAS fanaticism never allowed the to see the big pictire of nationhood besides chopping off hands, covering women in sack like cloths atheir needs ironically were provided by the UMNO crafted NEP.Meanwhile UMNO top leaders have maintained thestatus quo of race relations from the time of Najib Razak which should re examined, for example, engaging Hindraf for Indian grievances.

The Malay political power and NEP may not be endangered by a Pakatam rule, but the Malay ego will be challenged once they realize the weight of a bigger non Malay vote in a federal govt.

      1. re: “LGE grinning”

A more adequate description is smirking with misplaced superiority.

      2. “The Malay political power and NEP may not be endangered by a Pakatam rule, but the Malay ego will be challenged once they realize the weight of a bigger non Malay vote in a federal govt.”

        Very astute observation.

My own feelings on this, depends on a few variables.

        (1) How big a swing in Malay votes to PKR and PAS if PR manages to claim Putrajaya.

        (2) If there is a big swing then Anwar will be able to tame the Chinese element in PR with strenght of numbers and a Malay mandate.

        (3) How the propaganda in managed. If the warlords fall into line once there is a shift in power, which would predicatebly be the case, the Star would not have to assume MCA drag and pretend to be anything other than a DAP mouthpiece.

Federal propaganda organs would of course be under the control of PR, with an online alternative press as willing enablers.

The Malay ego would be defined by a plutocracy of “right minded” Pakatan Malays, whose proxydom would be camouflaged by the adversarial nature of PAS

        (4) PAS would be given room to carry out its own agendas maybe not in urban areas but surely in the rural heartlands, which would mean the urban/rural divide would become more pronounced.

        (5) The facile 1Malaysia concept would be replaced by 2Malaysia reality predicated on an “liberal” Chinese political dominated urban areas, and Islamized rural ghettos.

        1. I say look at S’gor Times as an example of what can happen. Out of its 15 editorial staff, 14 of them are Chinese (93.3%). ST is published in English & Chinese without any BM edition.

It is the state organ where the ruling party Aduns are 1/3 DAP (12 seats) and 2/3 PKR+PAS (combined 22 seats).

The evangelistas keep whinging that Christians are a small minority but still X’mas has been celebrated big-time for consecutive years and officially at state level under Khalid’s auspices – photos here, https://helenang.wordpress.com/2013/01/06/sambutan-krismas-khalid-ala-city-harvest

Thaipusam/Deepavali and Wesak Day don’t cause any ripples – probably due to Khalid’s disinterest – despite that adherents of Hinduism and Buddhism outnumber Christians.

The Khaleli permutation implies that the Chinese-Christian factions have an undue influence, and this same formula could be replicated in other potential PR states, say Perak.

          1. Helen,

What’s the numbers like of the circulation of Harakah in Selangor ? And correct me if I am wrong but ST is a free rag, right ? I only ever read ST when someone leaves it somewhere….

          2. 8.5 million to glorify the dear leader & 240k for slain heroes? Wankers of the worst kind.

      3. You cannot deny that they are very savvy in placing their propaganda. Penang Paradigm took out some exhibition space on the top floor of midvalley. You might ask, what is a state development blueprint doing in Selangor and KL? What’s more the exhibition highlighted federal (94%) vs state (6%) revenue differences.

  7. Holy crap and to think the money could be spent on other things since, PR has the alternative press and the DAP has that and the Star.

  8. Like broken record la these dapsters. Takkan lah after tens of years LGE has been in politics, his so-called act of defending the Malay girl raped victim is his only contribution in his fight for the Malays? Satu je? Sekali je?

Oh yes, LGE’s effort to reverse CEC election result did not count becos that Mamat what-is-his-name-again-because-I-could-not-recall is a fake Malay.
