The Star telah membincangkan soal perpaduan nasional pasca PRU13 dengan empat orang ahli panel.

Juru acara bagi rancangan ‘Cafe Latte Chat’ ialah pengarang The Star Online Philip Golingai (gambar bawah).

Mengikut transkrip rancangan, pengarang The Star Online tersebut telah berkata dalam perbincangannya:

  • “Idealistically, what is national unity? What kind of world Malaysia would see?”
  • “Ideally, according to you, we should be seeing each other as Malaysians?”
  • “To summarise, you feel that leaders should be leaders for Malaysians?”

Cakap pengarang The Star itu sebiji macam propaganda Malaysian Malaysia.

Olang Umno tarak, olang kelajaan pun tarak

Empat orang panelis jemputan The Star ialah Chua Tee Yong (anak towkay MCA Chua Soi Lek), Latheefa Koya (PKR), Rajiv Rishyakaran (DAP) dan Anas Zubeby.

Tak ada orang Umno yang berminat terhadap isu perpaduan lah, kalau mengikut aturcara The Star itu memandangkan wakil Umno tidak dijemput walaupun ianya Umno yang menyumbangkan paling ramai Ahli Parlimen di Dewan.

Juga tak ada orang kerajaan, misalnya dari Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional (JPNIN), yang diundang untuk menyertai rancangan. Dr Chandra Muzaffar, pengerusi Yayasan 1Malaysia pun tidak dijemput.

Sebaliknya untuk membincangkan soal berat perpaduan nasional yang melibatkan 29 juta orang warga Malaysia, The Star telah menjemput bekas pembantu peribadi Hannah Yeoh.

Perkara sibertrooper ini ditimbulkan oleh ahli panel rancangan tersebut sendiri, iaitu Chua Tee Yong.

Beliau telah berkata:

“I think the opposition is clearly saying things without looking at themselves. If you look at their cybertroopers, the hate message they are spreading is bad. They threaten and attack people who support the Government.”

Beliau juga mendedahkan:

“If you look at websites and pages on Facebook being created that support DAP or PKR most of them are in Mandarin and show so much hate against BN. The amount of videos they have generated are immense.”

Geng DAP yang giat di ruang maya adalah begitu penuh dengan benci dan The Star masih merasakan bahawa parti penaja Red Bean Army adalah orang yang paling layak membincangkan perpaduan kaum?

Sekali lagi, boleh The Star tolong jelaskan kenapa media tersebut menganggap bahawa Rajiv merupakan orang yang terbaik untuk membincangkan perpaduan nasional?

  1. The Star ini, dunia mereka cuma di Subang Jaya sahaja. When the talk about unity, perpaduan, they just imagine life in Subang Jaya, and then talk about unity, race interaction.

    Can they understand RACE IMBALANCES, ASSIMiLATION, INTREGRATION. These are action plan for our Malaysian undertakings in order to create prolong stabilty and harmony.

  5. i don’t understand what is this sudden fascination with Malaysian Unity. I seriously don’t.

    As i said before, instead of rejoicing & celebrating our diversities, we see people sharing food items and blood colour to symbolizes unity. I mean how lame & juvenile plus stupid can it get?

    Why can’t people be honest & sincere by admitting that it was an agenda for damage control?

    That some of the malays shouldn’t suspect & blame the chinese for choosing the oppo instead of the gomen? That it was coined after Utusan ask ‘apa lagi cina mau?’ – a valid question that should be read ala Hemingway (with comma inbetween words instead of a hostile tone & delivery).

    I find it awkward that the panel consists of a has-been party, a delusional party that has an eye for a symbol, a firestarter instigator party and an ad man – that’s not a recipe for unity instead a recipe for a flaming lamborghini: the cocktail!

    I find it hillarious that most of their answers is so vague. Maybe The Star should ask simpler question, instead of unity how about cooking? I wish Star stick to their sexcapade story instead of trying to heal Msia.

        I don’t see how Rajiv has any personal credentials to qualify him unless it’s the evangelista thing with The Star.

        The scary thing about the Chinese tsunami is that it swept any tunggul kayu that DAP chose to put up into office as long as he contested under the Rocket symbol.

        PSM’s Arutchelvan and Saras lost in Semenyih and Jelapang respectively. A pity.

        Nowadays, the flavour of the month is “unity”. And that too after the hype to overthrow the government of the day (meaning the Malay led govt) did not materialise.

        In crude language, now STAR is doing “damage control”. Why? Because everybody can see which side of divide STAR has been promoting all these years.

        Suddenly, there is a question on the possiblity of “non race based” political party. and that too was said at the same breath they proclaim Chinese school is inherent to chinese aspiration. No question on “mandarin is preferred” advertisements. Only race based political party (meaning UMNO) should not be tolerated.

            Had Anwar won the election (not that I believe he would have won anyway), STAR will likely proclaim that even Malays have had enough of UMNO. And it is going to portray DAP as crucial in toppling UMNO.

            Unfortunately, the plan fell flat as in Anwar’s exuberance in becoming PM and DAP’s following blindly, both (DAP and Anwar) forgot that vast majority of Malays do not trust DAP and of course Anwar too.

    What on the earth has Rajiv done to get an invite to share his “thoughts” on ethic harmony ? He’s known not just for being the Indian madore but also for his strong Evangelist Christian activism.

  17. Latheefa came across in an angry confrontational mood and stance. Hardly an ideal posture for a unity discussion. Her replies and responses were nasty and highly politicised. I thought Anas and CTY and even Rajiv were trying to find solutions while Latheefa came to play politics.

    Cina Mahu Apa Lagi?- Cina Mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    Selepas analisis, saya dapati ada beberapa perkara utama yang sangat senang membangkitkan perasaan marah di kalangan orang-orang Cina, iaitu:-

    1. Perniagaan dan Ekonomi- Kilang-kilang dirampas atau ditutup seperti kilang gula, kilang tepung ubi kayu, kilang roti, kilang biskut, kilang logam, kilang perabot, syarikat-syarikat bas, syarikat tayangan filem, syarikat penerbangan, bank-bank dan sebagainya. Syarikat-syarikat Cina terpaksa memberi minimum tiga puluh peratus kepada orang-orang Melayu tetapi syarikat kerajaan tidak bagi tiga peratus pun kepada orang-orang Cina. Telan syarikat-syarikat Cina secara paksaan walaupun tuan punya orang-orang Melayu mengambil-alih dan terus menaik harga barang itu atau tutup kedai kemudian. Syarikat Cina dilarang memohon projek terus daripada kerajaan. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    2. Pendidikan- Sekolah-sekolah Cina selalu ditutup untuk merampas tanah-tanahnya, tetapi tanah disumbangkan oleh pemaju untuk membina sekolah Cina pula dilarang sehabis-habisan oleh Kerajaan! Biasiswa persekolahan hanya diberi kepada pelajar orang-orang Melayu sahaja walaupun ada pelajar orang-orang Cina yang lagi miskin! Kolej Cina wujud sebelum penubuhan Persekutuan Malaya masih tidak boleh naik taraf menjadi Universiti, sebaliknya banyak kolej Melayu wujud selepas penubuhan Persekutuan Malaysia sudah menjadi Universiti, UEC tidak diitiraf kerajaan, dan sekolah Cina tidak dibenarkan sediakan tingkatan 6 atau Pra-Universiti. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    3. Kerakyatan- Warga Indonesia, Pilipina, Thai, Myanmar terlalu senang dapat Maykad, manakala orang-orang Cina dilahirkan disini, beberapa generasi pun tidak boleh dapat Maykad. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    4. Perkhawinan- Orang-orang Cina dulu khawin dengan Melayu tidak perlu masuk Islam, sekarang terpaksa. Dulu Melayu boleh makan minum di dalam kedai Cina, sekarang dilarang kerajaan. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    5. Ugutan 513- Pada dulunya perang dunia kedua, orang-orang Cina sanggup berkorban 500 ribu orang untuk memerangi tentera Jepun, apa takut lagi korban! Buat marah dan benci sahaja! Oleh itu, MCA kalah sampai tutup kedai. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    6. Kemudahan- Pinjaman orang-orang Cina kena bayar bunga bank dua kali ganda lebih tinggi daripada orang-orang Melayu dan terpaksa bayar harga yang jauh lebih tinggi apabila membeli tanah, rumah, kereta. Bank atau kementerian tidak bagi pinjaman kepada orang-orang Cina dan orang-orang Cina terpaksa meminjam Ahlung. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    7. Penjawatan Awam- Dulu ramai Cina menjadi askar, polis, guru, penguatkuasa Majlis Perbandaran, pegawai kerajaan di semua peringkat, sekarang dilarang. Cina mauh kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    8. Kesihatan- Hospital-hospital Cina dicukaikan dengan tinggi, membawa kesan pesakit orang-orang Cina terpaksa dikenakan caj yang tinggi walaupun seratus tahun lebih di dalam Malysia, pada dulunya hospital Cina tidak dicukaikan sebab meringankan beban hospital kerajaan. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    9. Penternakan- terutamanya ternakan babi, dipaksa oleh kerajaan pindah ke sana-sini, seperti puak-puak pindah-randah, Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    10. Pertanian- Sekinchan Selangor merupakan tempat yang paling sesuai untuk penanaman padi dan pengeluaran makanan laut, tetapi sengaja dicukaikan tinggi dan dihalang eksport oleh kerajaan. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    11. Perkauman- apabila orang-orang Cina memohon TEKUN, SME, lesen kontrator, lesen penjaja, masuk Universiti, bantuan kebajikan akan diberitahu Cina sangat kaya susah hendak dapat. Siapa ditangkap masuk balai polis akan dihina dan pukul dan ada yang dipukul sampai mati, walaupun kemalangan jalanraya atau kes diragut. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    12. Keagamaan- tokong-tokong baru dilarang didirikan walaupun satu taman semua orang Cina, manakala Masjid didirikan di tengah-tengah taman perumahan orang-orang Cina dan tiada Muslim. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    13. Kebudayaan- kerajaan tidak peka atau sengaja hina orang Cina, memakai baju penjajah Manchuria menjumpa dengan orang Cina semasa Tahun Baru Cina, bagi Bai(Putih) Bao kepada orang Cina. Orang Cina paling benci orang Penjajah Monggolia, Manchuria dan Jepun, dan terima Hong(Merah) Bao sahaja. Cina mahu kerajaan jangan kacau lagi.

    3. I read the list of tuntutan and, bless me, they are so full of shit, aren’t they. One example: Siapa-siapa Cina ditangkap dan masuk jel akan kena pukul sampai mati? Where’s the report on this, if it so widespread?

      Tokong tak boleh bina? What I know is, the reason why each festive season there are long crawls along the Karak Highway is because the state government could not widen the road in Bentong town. Why? Because there is a tokong along the route, and the Chinese chamber of commerce refuses to allow the government to take part of its land. And the state government acquiesces. So tens of thousands have to suffer every festive season, cos some tokong committee won’t give way.

      The truth is, the Government have bent over backwards so far to accommodate these ingrates, but it is never enough for them. Tell me which other multiracial country in this world has vernacular schools, and exclusive vernacular TV channels and radio stations? Not even Singapore has Mandarin medium schools, even though Mandarin is one of the official languages.

    Salam TUN,

    I am retiree from my own business.I moved my family to Kuantan from Kuala Lumpur.I find peace and tranquility facing the South China Sea.But, now I am saddened with the current politics in the country.How my children gonna face in years to come.Politicians bickering at each other,1 year already wasted.If in business 1 week without any closed deal, means 3 months down the line means trouble in getting the overhead cleared let alone talking about profit. Please do something TUN.Majority of the politicians we have in UMNO are lickers.They are empty cans,as a result they play money politics in order to win(source from govt. tenders)as such they are tight lip in addressing issues which affects their livelihood.At least our former DeFacto law minister has the guts to quit and put his foot down.
    I agree with that BN is still the best party at this time,what we need is a concerted effort from all parties to sit down and think of reengineering back BN,personal and race matter aside.
    The only person that can bring all BN component parties together is only YOU TUN.

    tengoklah siapa yang ada di sekeliling anwar. orang bukan melayu sahaja. saya ni bukan apa, kalau pas muzakarah dengan umno tu memang lah macam sireh pulang ke gagang. tetapi bila pas bekerja sama dengan dap dan pkr semasa pru 12 hari tu memang satu yang melucukan. macam sarkis. kita pun dah dapat lihat hasilnya. kucar kacir. dap nak buat ladang babi di sepang. memang satu sahaja tujuannya. iaitu utk menghalau orang melayu. saya dah pernah merasa hidup dengan cina sepanjang saya kecil hingga remaja. memang mereka tidak mahu melihat orang melayu senang. fikir fikirkanlah.

  30. Ms H. I hate Zoos especially those in this country. I have observed how the animals were badly treated and suffered due to negligence. I fervently hope all the Zoos in the World release these poor animals back to the wild. It is only the caged animals suffer to the amusement of the inconsiderate human being. It is heartless !
