The Star newspaper carried 17 stories of the sex blog couple Alvin Tan and Vivian Lee over the long weekend alone.”

Menenggelami perhimpunan agung MCA

Tweet Ong Kian Ming kelmarin pun menyebut bahawa Alvin Tan bukan seorang penyokong Pakatan tetapi sebaliknya menyanjung Chua Soi Lek sebagai heronya.

    Vivian menyokong MCA

Siapa audien sasaran Alvin dan Vivian? Hint: ‘DAP’s biggest social media network is The Star

Minat The J-Star

Dia terlupa bahawa Malaysia mempunyai 60 peratus penganut Muslim.

  1. Don’t worry. UMNO won’t take any action on them. There is no political advantage to gain from jailing them. They will be forgotten in no time. But if this were to be done by DAP politician or even member, the outcome will be different. Maybe UMNO should check whether they are DAP member or not?

    1. If look at the what Alvivi categorizes their FB page it is Entertainer.
Not sex therapy or anything serious.

At the end it is publicity.

Would Nasi Lemak 2.0 or Hantu Kampung do well without Namewee controversy? Bunohan did well because of art value, not controversy.

      Controversy sells… duh.

  2. Saudari Helen,

When dealing with immature and insensitive people, it is important that we remind ourselves of our own dignity when handling such provocations.

    1. Masalahnya kita suka sangat personaliti realiti.

Kalau personaliti diam diam macam Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh kita tak minat.

Parang terbang melayang layang menghentam ‘your’ belakang!.

  3. cik helen kalau orang melayu kata orang china keturunan pelacur dan keturunan bangsa coolie and tyrad marah tak? but in our history tertulis keturunan china malaysia adalah keturunan pelacur.

Ingatka generasi baru makin faham keadaan Malaysia. Makin hari makin teruk jadinya, sampaikan saya yang berdarah Siam, India dan Melayu ni lagi la rasa terhina dengan perbuatan mereka!

Bayangkan perasaan Melayu totok, dah jadi Melayu totok nak buat macam mana itu semua kehendak Tuhan, bagaimana perasaan mereka agaknya ye saudara?

        Cheers mate!

  4. Alvivi and Namewee are in the same league as the Kardashians, the Beauty and the Geek and other hedonistic reality personalites.

Kim Kardashian vs Angelina Jolie. Kardashian is about sex, hedonism with glamour. Jolie is about social activism but with glamour. One has no substance, the other is all about substance.

The Malaysian personalities who are about activism with glamour are Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh and Lee Sinjie.

  5. Helen,

Bukan kerana apa Helen.

Dia tak rasa apa pun bila Islam dihina sebegitu rupa.

Najib adalah ketua kerajaan. Kuasa ditangan beliau. Dia boleh arahkan kedua duanya ditangkap, didakwa, diihukum.

Tetapi Najib tak cakap sepatah pun.

      1. Shamshul,

Not everything has to revert to PM, lah.

Just rein in The J-Star and their Scissorati from making them a pair of instant celebrities.

        1. Helen,

And do tell me how to ‘rein’ in the STAR.? It takes someone with power to do that.

As i said again, Najib is the head of Government. Cant his government act on it?

Why these useless people are bold enough to insult Islam and malays? because the perception that the government would not punish them .

Try doing that during Dr Mahathir’s tenure

                1. This late in the game, I would not be surprised if the MCA and DAP have worked something out. Take a hit for the community for better long term gains. You never know.

                  1. re: “Take a hit for the community for better long term gains.”

Chinese business interests have shifted, that’s for sure.

The die is cast and the course is set — direct competition between the Chinese and the Malays in politics and economics.

So Dr M was right when in Gelang Patah he pronounced the imminent end of the kongsi arrangement.

                    1. My feeling is that as far as economics is concerned, the business interest (Chinese) will still play the same game with the political elites (UMNO) all the while playing both sides of the different alliances.

As far as politics, there is no competition. The Malays own that field unless Anwar can make inroads into Malay sacred grounds.

I have always believed that the kongsi agreement extends only to the plutocratic interests enabling of UMNO hegemonic agenda.

All the rest is just entertainment for the masses.

                    2. re: “the business interest (Chinese) will still play the same game with the political elites (UMNO)”

They are in competition with the Malay business interests for the same share of the pie. Previously there were opportunities enough for the Chinese businessmen. Not anymore.

Currently the Malays are getting better themselves at business and feel that they can dispense with the Chinese partner/expertise already.

re: “the kongsi agreement extends only to the plutocratic interests”

Yes but it kept the peace. GE13 saw the Chinese plutocratic interests pull away their support from the BN. This burning of bridges leaves no other option except for direct Sino-Malay competition in GE14.

re: “All the rest is just entertainment for the masses.”

Our bread and circus is more dangerous than that. Alvivi’s Facebook was allegedly created under the Entertainment category. (Can’t double check this as it appears to have been already taken down.)

What was entertainment to them stirring the hornet’s nest is something else to a lot of angry Muslims.

                    3. Helen,

short of saying it out loud, Malay-Chinese relationship is like ‘kaca terhempas ke batu”.

As chinese(generally) do not show genuine need for friendship, the Malays have too responded. PRU13 confirms what the Malays have been suspecting all along. That Chinese are up to something. And this is not good for the malays.

Already the sign of strain is becoming more evident. Restrain is no longer observed. Some Chinese feel nothing with insulting “buka puasa” advertisement showing them eating pork with JAKM “halal “logo.

Chinese feel upset with white angpow issue. But they show no feeling when extremist chinese deliberately insulting Malay, islam, Prophet Muhammad, Malay rulers.

As i said many times, it is a matter of time another may 13 will take place.

As for PAS, stay with PR and continue “kowtowing” to DAP. You wil be punished more severely next time around, starting with byelection in kuala Besut. Losing Kedah should be an eye opener.

For najib, continue your “no action” when Islam , malay are insulted. It may cost your UMNO Presidency.

  6. saw these shameless people on BB sometime ago, wearing shirts with nude gestures.

Not worth bothering with these rejects, Strange sinngapore gave them scholarships, their type of ideal citizens i guess.

Seem Ong Kian Ming enjoyed their antic only to blame the MCA. Not even a word of condemnation on the duo.

Imagine these idiots are Malays and do something like given white angpows, sure Ong Kian Ming and the Cina Klistian bising about being second class citizens and all their usual bullshits.

  7. Perhaps Helen is one to something when she implies that A&V are used by the Star to subvert/tarnish the agenda of the MCA.

The only difference between these hipsters and the exhibitionist from the other communities is that they have found a mainstream platform in the Star.

Where the sexual antics of Malaysians was confined to the underground, these two are gaining publicity at the expense of the community.

To see the antics of these two as some sort of moral failing of the Chinese community is ridiculous but expected in such a polarized racial atmosphere.

  8. This (Dr) OKM is stooping himself so low after becoming an MP. Rather than thinking for solution for people, he plays with Muslim religious rituals and terms. Seems like nothing better to do. This seems like a quick way to become popular.

I am waiting to see if this guy will put on full baju Melayu and songkok for his “raya” celebration.

    1. I saw this guy put on full baju Melayu and songkok for Hari Malaysia (Sept 16) celebration at National Integrity Congress event held in USCI a couple of years ago.

    2. He has always been low. To begin with, his campaign was all about the evils of BN. There were no local issues. In fact being the MP of Serdang, he should be the one making noise about the rape case at UPM Serdang which is in his constituency. No noise. It shows he has no knowledge and skill to serve his own people.

But the biggest assholes are the people of Serdang. Serve them right for electing someone who has to skill to deal with local issues.

Remember or not the video whistle blower MP of Kelana Jaya. Loh Guo …. what?

    3. Grand Marquis. This guy is just following in the foot steps of his peers (i) Tan Sri Dato Dr Lee Lam Thye (DAP/Lim Kit Siang) (ii) Tan Sri Dato Dr Michael Yeoh (MCA/Lee Kin Sai) Dato Wong Chun Wai (MCA/DAP). YB Dr Ong Kian Ming. BA. MA. PhD (Duke). Duke University is famous for American football. President Ford also played American football.

  9. anyway, there are pics of the wench cuddling to Nurul Izzah circulating on facebook..perhaos can tweet that pic to Ong Kian Ming.

  10. The MP is very short sighted, only thinking of DAP in his tweets.

Please remember in Malaysia today, besides Malays and other Bumiputras, there are thousands of foreign workers (including tourists who can read The Star) who are also Muslims may be as instigated by such careless jokes on Islam.

Indons, Banglas, Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Afrikans, Mynmars, Thais, Cambodians, Arabs and also Europeans.

Careful ya.. and to our dearest MP, being a Yang Berhormat and having a Phd tag next to yr name, please take this “jolok2 sarang tebuan” a bit more seriously.

  11. Would these two clowns be brave enough to show white ang pows in another wish to Cina Msia for CNY? And stick chopsticks into a rice in a bowl?

One reason to keep the Sedition Act and recall I.S.A.

  12. Saja aku nak tambah rekod…

Komen Weblog Ibnu Hasyim: Pelik MCA bela Islam, mendahului UMNO?

PAS? Tentu dah di sebalik tabir menyokong dua ekor tu… Kan? Kan?Kan?

  13. And this is why i never bother to read or buy The Star. The antics of those two lunatics is just shameful and the law should come down on them. If what they did is not regarded a seditious I don’t know what is?

  14. Enjoy and rejoice!!! This damn stupid breed that pretend knows nothing.

  15. Re: “Previously there were opportunities enough for the Chinese businessmen. Not anymore.”

I do not think so. There was never any real partnership to begin with. Chinese businesses are essentially monopolies condoned by the Malay ruling elite.

Re: “GE13 saw the Chinese plutocratic interests pull away their support from the BN.”

I am a bit skeptical of this. Or rather I define “pull away support” as hedging their bets with PR.

Re:” Our bread and circus is more dangerous than that.”

    Well put.

However what I was referring to was “entertainment” like the conversion row, Utusan, BERSIH ect.

    1. re: “There was never any real partnership to begin with.”

Real partnership or not, the opportunities were there for Chinese businessmen. Now they’re feeling squeezed out. Hence the diminishing of MCA’s role as middleman facilitator greasing the hook-up with the Umno elites.

This links to your observation that the Chinese Business hedged their bets with PR, which they of course did.

      re: “pull away support”

How much can Chinese business interests get in future with/from the BN compared with much can Chinese business interests get should Pakatan be the future?

      1. Here’s the thing. One of the reasons UMNO seems unconcerned about the MCA is because they don’t need them as facilitators anymore. Why go through a middleman when you can get straight to the source ?

As for your question. I would argue that Chinese business interest would increase in a Pakatan future. The DAP is after all a Capitalist cartel made up of special interest groups.

        1. re: [you] “would argue that Chinese business interest would increase in a Pakatan future.”

Undoubtedly. Hence DAP will have a lot of corporate funding to fuel their election machinery.

With BN, the power equation is Malay Chinese 88:7 (but the MCA’s 7 Parliament seats are really rural charity).

With Pakatan, the power equation is DAP top dog plus PKR has a substantial number of Chinese MPs whereas the Malay DAP (future) MPs will be the Zairils.

There is no more future for the Chinese with the BN. The Malay backlash wrt the Chinese tsunami finished it.

        2. Conrad,

          “…UMNO seems unconcerned about MCA…

Why must UMNO worry about MCA if MCA itself could not care less about its own future. What is the point of owning a media apparatus if it “leans” towards DAP?

Furthermore, the election just shows one thing. That UMNO still can form a legitimate government recognised by the whole world without Chinese support. Chinese rejected whole heartedly the Malay led government. What do you expect UMNO leaders to do?

Let us be honest here. The real reason for rejecting BN is because it is led by UMNO. Please spare us the crap on corruption, nepotism. That are mere facades.

The truth is that chinese thought that UMNO would ‘bungkus’ this time around. So, they took the bait by Anwar, Kit Siang. They thought this time around they can get the elusive thing that fir decades seems impossible. Yup, the thing called ‘power’.

Unfortunately UMNO prevails albeit the bruises. But prevail it is. So it is a case you wanting to topple the government of the day. Instead you voted yourself out of government.

But you are right on one aspect. The biggest winner should PR take over is DAP. The political power will shift from UMNO to DAP if PR win. Anwar is mere a tool to get it. Just like he likes to manipulate others, he forgot that he too can be manipulated. AND HAD BEEN MANIPULATED.

          1. Shamsul, I do not understand why is it we seem to have a communication problem. I agree with nearly everything you said in this post and my postings reflect more or less what you say except maybe on the MCA and this…..

“Please spare us the crap on corruption, nepotism. That are mere facades.”

While this may be true for political parties, it does not hold true for many people who vote Opposition and believe that these issues are important.

While online fanatics have drunk the kool aid esp on the nepotism issue which renders them blind, many others don’t have this problem.

If you insist on reducing Pakatan supporters to crude stereotypes don’t be surprised when the same is done to Establishment partisans.

            1. conrad,

Let call a spade a spade. “Ini kalilah” has nothing to do with nepotism,. croynism, corruption, bla bla bla.

If nepotism is the issue, how on earth Guan Eng becomes the CM when the post should go to Penang DAP Chairman. And we see that Anwar appointed himself as “ketua umum”.

As for corruption, Guan Eng still unable to explain messy land deal in Bayan Mutiara.

I am not saying tackling corruption is unimportant. I am saying “ini kalilah” is a mere facade to dislodge UMNO(meaning Malays) from political power.

And it seems possible with right ingredients. A morally banckrupt politician, Anwar, with self appointed moral envoy, PAS and extremist and racist DAP work together.

except they ignore the “elephant” in the room. The ignore the race that happens to be the largest vote bank:Malay community.

You may be honest in wanting change(reducing corruption) . unfortunately vast majority of malays just do not buy it. I knew UMNO was going to hold the fort when Anwar kept refusing to take the religious oath as challenged.

But you must understand that Malays too are voting UMNO not out of love too. Rather, they see a disaster staring at them should UMNO fell.

In crude language, UMNO won the Malay votes by default. Not surprising as Malay s see PAS championing its world benefit using islam and DAP waging war againsts Malays.

I understand why chinese mistook Malays very badly before election. They thought Malays too are for change of government. The habit of Malays of not wanting to create a scene does not mean they are totally stupid.

It is that they did not say what they think.

              [edited- deleted]

              1. Seriously, brother Shamshul, I don’t know what was edited/deleted, but as far as this post we are more or less on the same page. I have talked often of the hypocrisy of the DAP/PR as far as nepotism/corruption/lack of secularism is concerned.

I am ever willing to call a spade a spade, but the problem is objectively speaking UMNO has the weight of history on its back as far as corruption/systemic discrimination/nepotism etc. is concerned. Just take a look at Bung’s latest outburst in Parliament.

I mean we don’t have to go far, look at what George Orwell said :

“The ruling power is always faced with the question, ‘In such and such circumstances, what would you do?’, whereas the opposition is not obliged to take responsibility or make any real decisions.”

Perhaps if you think there is a point of disagreement between us, you should spell it out.

    1. If the story link is true, it is scary.

I see anti-Chinese sentiments on a steep rise.

      1. As I have said many times “Cina DAP” have started pushing the envelope too far while the government is too slow and too lenient in responding, thus what else is there for us Muslim Malay to do? Duduk dan tenguk saja?

        1. re: “thus what else is there for us Muslim Malay to do?”

Imagine the precarious position of us, the very small Chinese minority who object vehemently to the Evangelista Bintang Tiga and are able to foresee the consequences of their actions.

          But what can we do?

My writings cannot even appear in any English media without the oppo operatives immediately going all out on a smear campaign against me.

In fact they are so malicious and vicious that I truly believe they respect no boundaries of decency when they set upon their victims and targets.

Even when they are constrained by the decorum of licensed print publication, look at how they published the photos of Shen Yee Aun, Shahrizat and Mukhriz.

          1. I just hope the Home Minister will come up with a strong stance on all these nonsense once and for all.

It is Ramadhan Helen, I am trying very hard to purify my mind and soul by not talking and thinking rubbish but there was a moment after I read Alvin twitter , where I wish that there would be ***

What they have done is unforgivable, be it in Pakistan, India, Indonesia and the middle east a fatwa on their “HEAD” will be called for.

          2. Helen,

Not to worry Helen. Malay due to their islamic influence as far as anyone can remember do not treat Chinese the way chinese treats malays.

You may feel appropriate to delete part of my previous comment. Were Malays to behave the way Chinese extremists are, then in no time you will see before your own eyes the repeat of (example) how indonesians treated their Chinese indonesian way back in 1998.

These couple had crossed the line. And many politicians especially from DAP too.

      2. It rising Helen and with a lot of them chinese not very sensitive to other races it will reach a boiling point one of these day. Scary..

        :o sarah

  16. I guess it really isn’t a Religion of Peace after all. When the cow head protest was the news and the biased Establishment response to it was met with teary eyed disbelief by some of my Hindu friends and rejoinders that Hinduism (or whatever definition one comes up with regarding this way of life philosophy) was “passive” in the karmic sense, I merely smirked.

It is the prerogative of the majority to feel aggrieved and unfortunately here in Malaysia act without any real consequence. If the same thing happened in India for instance with the roles reversed, I doubt very much you would see the “passivity” of Hinduism.

KJ that hack says that there is no forgiveness for these hipsters but pleaded otherwise for Zul Noordin. All I can say to his “incur the wrath of the Muslims” spiel is that said “wrath” is never righteous nor warranted , especially not the Islam propagated by his ilk and him.

    1. Conrad,

The cow head protest has nothing to do with Hindus. It was meant for Menteri Besar of selangor.

Forget Khairi or Zulkifli. The issue here is how “kurang ajar” these couple are. They insulted islam deliberately.

      1. ‘I guess it really isn’t a Religion of Peace after all’

        That was classic.

After more than 50 years of peaceful living in Malaysia and you has no clue the context behind it? Amazing.

Brother Conrad, what you have written is priceless!

It seems that you and Karpal is sharing the same bed after all! Thanks for sharing.

  17. Shamsul,

The protestors were protesting against the relocation of a Hindu temple. They desecrated an animal which is considered holy to Hindus. All of which should be considered collateral damage in an effort to voice their displeasure at a Menteri Besar ? Do you even realize how ridiculous your comment sounds ?

It is difficult to ignore KJ and Zulkifli when “kurang ajar” behaviour is acceptable for one community but sanctioned for another. If the rules applied equally, would I even have an argument to make?

  18. Negara kita namanya..MALAYSIA…maksudnya…(Malay/Melayu) bukan CHINASIA…maksudnya (China/cina). MALAYSIA tetap tanah MALAY/MELAYU.

    Faham-fahamkan lah..
