The photograph below is of the MCA annual general assembly held in Oct 2012, coincidentally over the same weekend that The J-Star frontpaged Alvivi and featured 17 articles on the sex blogger couple over three packed days.
And the MCA-owned paper quite forgot to report about their owner’s AGM (featured very few and insignificant, i.e. not prominently placed reports).
Deliver what, ah?
“MCA Can Deliver” was the tagline adopted by the convention.
Look at all the empty chairs.
What does MCA mean by claiming they can deliver when they cannot even get their own party members to attend the most important meeting, which was the last one to be held before the GE13?
MCA the cash bag carrier
A better way to interpret MCA “delivering” is the phrase “your cheque is in the mail”.
Like FedEx, MCA delivers. Oodles of money — see their election campaign photos below.
But the Chinese voters still gave the MCA a slap in the face, and spitting on BN … after taking the MCA’s money.
Thanks to them, MCA bites the dust. Yet despite dealing MCA a knock-out blow in the last general election, they still run to the MCA to fight for places for their children in public university.
Earth calling Planet Dapster: You voted DAP.
You chose DAP to be the sole representative of the Chinese community. You should ask who else but the DAP to provide the solutions to your varsity intake grouses.
Unisel might offer some seats.

MCA Can Deliver
Yes it can.
In Utar, the MCA-established university, and its feeder Ktar colleges, the lecturers are the voices for DAP.
DAP Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming was very happy with his reception in Kampar where the Utar campus is located — see @imokman tweet screenshot below.
MCA can deliver
Yes it can.
MCA, through its J-Star Media Group, can deliver the urban and youth votes to the opposition. Or at least it will surely try its darndest, most evangelista-est to deliver.
Can BN still trust the MCA and their Scissorati meh?
