Pemuda Umno bodoh matematik

Sebab tulah ketua Pemuda Umno ambik setiausaha akhbar Scissorati. Orang Cina pandai berkira ilmu hisab.

“Nak kira 700 undi pun makan masa 8 jam”, kata Dr M tentang proses pemilihan ketua Pemuda Umno lepas yang memenangkan KJ.

Sebiji macam pemilihan CEC-Excel-DAP, bukan?

Kalau Zairil dicanangkan DAP sebagai wajah Melayu parti itu, Khairy pula sebagai wajah Umno apa?

  1. Helen,

Faham sangat kenapa Khairi ambil Regina sebagai setiausahanya.

Sebab tiada seorang pun PEMUDA UMNO dianggap layak jadi setiausaha akhbar .

Apa kata ambil Razalan, KEtua PEMUDA Seputeh. Dia baik, bijak. Jenis beriman dan bertakwa lagi.

  2. One fellow counted with the fingers on one hand as he needed the other hand to write the tally.

As he was only able to count up to five, another 139 more were needed to count the other 695 votes.

When all 140 have their tallied, they needed a further 28 more hands to count the tallying slips from the earlier 140.

When the 28 2nd level tallying slips are counted, a further 6 more persons are required to tally their votes.

And finally one last fellow who scored a distinction in SPM/MCE Maths will be tasked to verify the tally made by the earlier 174 persons. The total used to tally the votes would thus be 175, for now…

Now multiply this by 3 since KJ, MM & KT aren’t actually bosom buddies so they’d all insist the 175 counters are from their camp. Thus, the whole exercise is repeated twice more.

And finally when everyone agrees on the numbers, the results are announced. Phew….

So 700 votes with 525 directly involved in the counting while the rest are off shopping, eating, dating, ogling, khalwating etc etc

No wonder lah 8 hours to count…

  3. KJ graduated Ox-fart without a degree based on mathematics or science. He studied PPE, which is worse than Journalism and other ‘Arts’ related subjects. It’s people with degrees in the Arts that fuck up the world. So, admit it, if you are a person with an Arts degree, you may be part of the problem, not the solution. (looking at you too Helen).

    1. Re. KJ graduated Ox-fart without a degree based on mathematics or science.

I hate this KJ Kitol like nobody business, but I give him credit where credit is due, He did attend Oxford and YOU?

Re. which is worse than Journalism and other ‘Arts’ related subjects

      Listen here TROLLOP,

      a. The fact that you were actually taking a great effort to read plus commenting something in here shows that this piece of entry has managed to capture you attention;

      b. The fact that J-Star has managed to help the DAPster to win the perception war in PRU13 is just one example that journalism has for ages managed to shape the way people think and perceive thing the way it want to be;

      c. The fact that you need a text book, journal, literature (be it math, science, art, sociology, history etc.) to study or manual to operate your gadget, I-pad, Laptop , TV, requires someone with an exceptional writing and editing skills; Scientist, Mathematician, Engineer, Doctors most of the time don’t have that skill, thus they turn to writers to put their idea on paper.

      d. Apart from Tun M and Rafidah Azis who write their own speeches (most of the time), most Politicians turn to speech writer and publicist to do that job, Anwar Ibrahim is one of them who uses this service religiously and it doesn’t come cheap.

Re. So, admit it, if you are a person with an Arts degree, you may be part of the problem, not the solution. (looking at you too Helen).

      a. The fact that J K Rowling managed to mesmerize you and the rest of the world with her Harry Porter series and became the first billionaires in literary world, shows that arts is a form of therapeutic tool that help fool like you to have good time and unwind;

      b. The fact that Tanda Putra has become a nightmare for certain quarter shows that Arts can be a lethal weapon;

      c. If you are a 007 fan (James Bond), you may have noticed that for almost half a century, some of the fictitious super gadgets were designed through the imagination of artist with greatest art skill and some have become reality; and your mobile phone, virtual world are just two of them.

      [YouTube]

….and the list can go on and on

And you GREATEST CONTRIBUTION thus far is…..?

do you need a glass of water to wash down your foot in your mouth now…

      1. I stopped reading your post halfway. Not worth my time.

I may have not gone to Oxford, but I did go to an Ivy League uni and I do have a science degree.

My contributions are the buildings, bridges, industrial power plants and machinery you drive or ride on everyday.

I own several houses, multiple cars (including one sports car) and I am thinking of buying a boat.

I am malay. I imagine how much richer I would be if I were chinese.

        1. Re. I stopped reading your post halfway. Not worth my time.

Yet you are coming back for more.

Re. I may have not gone to Oxford, but I did go to an Ivy League uni and I do have a science degree.

Listen Honey, I know someone who has a degree from UC Davis who is currently working with NST and she didn’t study Art (I think Helen knows her. NO?).

If my memory serves me right, Jeffrey Ong, the former National swimmer, went to Stanford University, an Ivy League school and studied journalism.

They are many more people around me that I know went to Ivy league school plus Oxford and Cambridge as well.. and few of them didn’t deserve to be there.

These schools won’t have the faculty of Arts and Social Science, if these field are not important.

Re. My contributions are the buildings, bridges, industrial power plants and machinery you drive or ride on everyday.

You are not alone in that HONEY. There are people within the arts field who contributed as well.

I have a classmate in grad school who studied veterinary in college and ended up as a sales director because that is her calling according to her.

One of my senior at grad school is a doctor, but ended up as full time housewife and that is her calling according to her.

Alfdlin Shauki is an architect by training but end up as an actor and comedian.

There are many more examples that I can give. You see education is just a tool for everyone of us but that it doesn’t define who we are in the end…

Re. I am malay. I imagine how much richer I would be if I were chinese.

and this coming from someone who went to Ivy league. What a bullock…. I wonder how you managed to go through your SAT test, with that kind of logic…maybe you should read this.

“Why Smart People are actually DUMB”

A new study, published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, suggests that you can be insanely intelligent, and still fall foul when it comes simple problems because of deviations in judgment—which are known as “cognitive bias”.

          1. LOL…..itu orang belajar tinggi-tinggi tapi kena ‘sekolah’ kat sini.

katanya, “I own several houses, multiple cars (including one sports car) and I am thinking of buying a boat.
I am malay. I imagine how much richer I would be if I were chinese”.

nada penyesalan ke kerana dilahirkan sebagai Melayu?
nampak sangat berbangga kerana ada beberapa buah rumah, kereta dan jelas angkuh konon sedang berkifir nak beli bot….!

            hampehhh!

  4. Baru tengok news diTV3, PM minta media jadi ejen perpaduan. Surat khabar The Star yang mengapi api orang cina untuk membenci orang melayu/UMNO dia tak buat apa apa, Utusan Melayu pulak di tegur. Jangan kata Ketua Pemuda UMNO, President UMNO pun bodoh.

      1. Of course, Najib was supporting. He was giving the speech at the opening of Utusan’s premises. Kalau dia buka Star punya office, tentu dia puji Star ke langit.

        1. The J-Star would not be inviting Najib to open their office lah. They’d prefer to invite Iguana Eng.

And have you noticed that Wong Chun Wai is today penning another column, and this one strictly on Penang stories?

        1. Omar Ong tu adalah Anak Mustafa Ong yang kekadang datang bertengkek kat sini dan perasan bagus tu. Omar Ong ni adalah Business Partner KJ Kitol ( I personally believe that he is one of his proxy). Another of KJ business partner is the Chinese Guy yang mati kena hempap Crane atau bahan binaan suatu ketika dulu, pengasa ETOS or something like that.

  5. Kak Helen,

    Terima kasih kerana mengingatkan kami.

Rupa-rupanya Pemuda UMNO dah buat precedent, kemudian DAP ikut.

Kenapa ROS tak suruh Pemuda UMNO re-elect ek ?

  6. the topic is a turn off for me.

In this day of age why do you have to resort to malay not knowing Math. WE have overcome that fear. You don’t.

Pls. don’t qualify any of us Malays not knowing math. We been thru that in the 70s.

    Don’t do that again.

    1. In the first place, I did not say Malays. I said Pemuda Umno.

Secondly, my blogs was more specific. Pemuda Umno in this case alludes mainly to Khairy. If you have not yet noticed, KJ has been featuring in my blog ever since he decided to hire a Scissorati to hold such a sensitive position.

I’m surprised his press secretary passed the security vetting (if there was one) but her appointment shows that Umno rewards the very people that want to kill the party.

And I’m not implying that Malays are dumb. After all, it is repeated ad nauseum that KJ famously went to Oxford.

Thirdly, the crunch is in the remark “Nak kira 700 undi pun makan masa 8 jam” — tu Tun Mahathir yang cakap.

The DAP flubbed their use of Excel during their central committee party elections also but it doesn’t infer that Chinese are bodoh matematik. Instead it implies that there was something going on in their suka-suka hati naikkan Zairil.

Here Dr M commented that counting a mere 700 votes took 8 hours. Everyone should realise that the former PM of 22 years would not have said such a thing lightly.

      Two things to remember:

      (1) Khairy was found guilty of money politics by the Umno disciplinary committee. He was however let off without punishment. He was the son-in-law of the serving PM at that time.

      (2) Dr M’s son Mukhriz was the losing candidate in that Pemuda election. He probably knows something that most members of the public don’t.

      (3) When that particular Pemuda election took place in end-Oct 2008, Dr M was NOT in Umno. Don’t forget that in May 2008, he had dramatically quit the party Umno Baru he founded. History repeats itself (Datuk Onn Jaafar too quit the party Umno ori he founded).

So KJ won, Mukhriz lost against the backdrop of both their ayahandas – one being the PM who gave his SiL the fourth floor of the ‘White House’ to play in, and one being out in the cold.

Dr M was sidelined so badly that not only was he out of Umno at that time, he was blacked out by the mainstream media and had to start a blog to put out his views, and it was so bad that ‘Dr M fails to get nominated as division delegate’ (NST article headline) …

“JITRA: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad lost his bid to be elected as a Kubang Pasu Umno division delegate to the party’s general assembly in November.

The former prime minister and Umno president emerged ninth in the list of 15 aspirants at the division’s meeting at Dewan Wawasan here yesterday (9 Sept 2006).”

      see, http://www.accessmylibrary.com/article-1G1-151245610/dr-m-fails-get.html

      I hope the above explains.

    2. Re. the topic is a turn off for me.

It is a political satire “lah” Meor. I had a good laugh over it, you have to give Helen credit for that.

Fyi, I and many others in here have debated over the issue of Malay Education so many times. My latest comment was yesterday, reacting to “Malaysian”.
