Gan Ping Sieu appears to be taking note of public calls for the MCA to pull out of BN.

At the same time, Zamkata, “Najib wajib beritahu MCA: You’re either with us or against us”.

What is the point of MCA staying on, really, if the Chinese party is against the BN and its media mouthpreach prefers delivering DAP sermons?

In the news today as well

  • “Dr Chua said the accusation that he had secretly sold off The Star shares was nonsense.”
  • “In May, Star Publications (M) Bhd refuted speculation over a buyout of MCA’s shares in the company.”
  • “The MCA is the majority shareholder in the publication.” (source: MCA website)

Is there even any need for proxies of the opposition interests to secretly buy the party’s shares in The J-Star when to all intents and purposes the MCA-controlled media empire is overtly operating like an opposition vehicle?

  1. zam BM writing is interesting, i feel like writinh stuff from the 50s, very witty.

    As for the malaysian chinese saying umno treat mca like shit, dog and whore.. well that is what they say, coz afaic, its Malay voters that carrying MCA carcass around and taking in MCA loyalists into ket ministries and PEMANDU not mention enriching Chinese once MCA supporter billionaires with monopolies.

    1. Haha, even Malaysian Chinese most of them do not want to support MCA so the Malay voters are the stupid one who continue to vote MCA. So UMNO if you got balls, kick the MCA out which I think Najib don’t have.

        well, actually I voted for BN. but UMNO gave way to MCA and let it contest in BTRazak seat. MCA lost it for the second time.

        but in GE14, my vote could go to some one else.

  11. Ini GPS serupa seorang staff yang tak perform bertahun-tahun kerja. masa interview, dia kata apapun boleh, keje overtime hari-hari sampai tak balik pun boleh asalkan dapat kerja. bila dah ‘confirm’ jawatan, gaji pun sedap, mula la buat hal…asyik cuti, pastu target tak capai.

    Tentunya boss dia atau majikan dia akan kasi warning, takpun letak dia kat ‘cold-storage’… takde promotion, takde increment.

    Skrg dia jerit kata boss dia treat dia like shit….. sibuk kata nak resign. elok la resign, takkan boss nak terminate dia nanti dia mintak compensation…..!

      tapi memang betul. MCA memang dilayan macam “shit”. Sebab “character” MCA pun “shit” juga.

      MCA “berperang ” dengan UMNO. contoh terbaru kematian Chin Peng. Sepatutnya MCA kena sedarkan orang Cina bahawa anggota tentera tak dapat terima abu mayat Chin Peng. Jika Najib menerima Chin Peng, dia akan dianggap persendakan tentera .

      Sebaliknya mCA pula biaran medianya “julang” Chin Peng.

      Jadi jika UMNO layan MCA macam “shit”, memang patutle.

  12. In my view, the Malays are the one treated like Shit. As a malay, living among the multi racial community, at currently me and my non bumi friends are still having meetings and activities as normal, but when it comes to Politic, I feel, we are drag into a mind battle that actually scarce our heart in realizing our non bumi friends, is having a one sided view towards their standing and not trusting the Malay community. Are we that bad? I am sad to see them still feeling uneasy whereas, I am still be friendly with them and yet jealously of their achievement, but still trusting them and still be friendly. Why cant they have the trust and love their friend sincerely and put their rest of mind in helping each other. What reality in front of my eyes is that the non bumi race can live happily and make lots of opportunity within and capitalized from the Malays. And yet the Malays never stopped or question their well being. By question or saying such negative about the UMNO, just shows that they are not Thankful. Dont they really understand why they joint BN and why the put up a party call MCA. I believe these non bumi’s are feeling their own heat of doings. My 2 cent advise is Get to be Real and understand where you’re standing is. As a Malay, I will never budge from my home soil.

  13. I still believe there are Chinese like tun tan siew sin who believe in living in harmony side by side with other races. Current Chinese, just like banana, after makan buang kulit.

  16. Just do it!! There will be another party who is more than willing to take MCA place as the voice of the chinese community in the government. Let’s face the reality here. Once MCA no longer part of BN, they will become extinct. They will only exist on paper. You think the Lim dynasty will let you be the voice of the chinese? Even with the Malay support you still got a beating from DAP and now you want to stand alone? Hero tamil ka?

    His boss, CSL has revealed that MCA is 107m richer since his elevation to the party’s presidency.

    1. Something to be terribly impressed with indeed! That’s why I think MCA just give up on politics and focus on making money, in which they are at least more successful. I would say let’s merge MCA and DAP into McDAP the political party and turn MCA into a MCA Sdn Bhd.

Sekiranya anda membaca buku Dr Collin Abraham yang berjudul ‘The Finest Hour’ mengenai Perjanjian Hadyai Chin Peng itu, ahli akademik tersebut menulis bahawa MCA, sejak dari detik pembentukannya yang didorong oleh pihak British, sebenarnya tidak pun pernah menerima sokongan akar umbi masyarakat Cina.

      Sebab itulah MCA boleh kalah begitu teruk dalam pilihanraya umum Mei 1969 serta prestasi MCA tidak pun menyerlah dalam PRU tahun 1964 sebelum itu.
