Guan Eng’s takeover of DAP Johor, Kedah and next Malacca

DAP is becoming more and more the Dictator’s Action Party.

Frustrated Boo won’t lead Johor DAP any more’ reported the headline in today’s Malaysiakini. DAP Johor chairman Dr Boo Cheng Hau today announced that he will not be defending his position when the state-level party election is called (anytime within the next 3 months).

Three weeks ago, I’d blogged about the KOBAN – Knock Out Boo And Norman – campaign launched by Lim Guan Eng’s black hand. The koban has successfully drawn blood, fatally. ‘B’ and ‘N’ (DAP Johor deputy chairman Norman Fernandez) have been politically liquidated, and Guan Eng’s proxies have arrived right at Umno’s fortress doorstep. Utusan: Cina mahu jatuhkan kuasa Melayu / dan inilah kaedahnya

Lidah pengarang Utusan Awang Selamat hari ini berkata:

“… betapa kerajaan banyak memenuhi tuntutan bersifat perkauman, kaum Cina tetap mahu menjatuhkan kuasa politik Melayu. Tuntutan untuk hak sama rata dijadikan alasan bagi masyarakat Cina mengikat diri taksub menyokong parti ekstrem DAP”.

.

DAP sekarang lain.

Gerakan bashing Perkasa but says nothing about DAP

Gerakan’s outgoing acting president Chang Ko Youn in the keynote address to his party national delegates conference today slammed Perkasa for undermining the relationship between the various races in the country.

Chang should hold up a mirror to his own party. Did 90 percent of them vote for the opposition, like the MCA members?

Question wrt budget speech: Nak bunuh Umno, ke?

Enough of lies, PM tells Pakatan‘, excerpts from FMT article yesterday:

“PETALING JAYA:  In announcing the highly-anticipated Budget 2014 today, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak urged the Opposition coalition to seek God’s forgiveness for the “lies” they told during the 13th general election on May 5.
.
Taking a swipe at his defeated opponents, Najib mentioned in his budget speech, that there was no proof of the often repeated claim of Bangladeshis being flown in to vote for Barisan Nasional on May 5.

Guan Eng’s purple shirts and personality cultism

Brownshirts were the Nazi stormtroopers; in German ‘Sturmabteilung’ meaning “assault division”.

They were Hitler’s own private militia. The nickname ‘brownshirts’ came from their uniform of brown shirt, brown trousers, brown belt, brown combat boots and brown peaked cap. The brownshirts also wore a swastika armband and a red trim on their cap. Ali Rustam Syndrome: Boy oh boy, is BN in trouble!

I must confess that despite having earlier explored some of the Chinese tsunami results with regard to several pivotal constituencies earlier, I was nonetheless somewhat taken aback by the Bukit Katil (Mohd Ali Rustam’s losing bid for a Parliament seat in Malacca) figures crunched today.

The impact of the Chinese vote swing is much harder than I’d thought as well as the position of BN – make that the PPTA, Parti-Paling-Tidak-Apa Umno – in the next election is more precarious that we’ve yet to register.

I’ve copypasted in full below the BBC analysis of Monday’s ‘Allah’ verdict by the Court of Appeal.

By Jennifer Pak (BBC News, Kuala Lumpur)

“The verdict does not come as a surprise to the two million Christians in Malaysia. Many of them believe that the case stems from a tight race between the governing Malay-Muslim party, UMNO, and the opposition Islamic party, PAS.
.
The Allah ban is seen as an attempt by UMNO to boost its Islamic credentials Continue reading “Kalimah Allah: Orang Melayu tidakkah geram dengan Parti Paling Tidak Apa itu?”

Lee Kuan Yew on S’pore evangelistas: “you can have enormous trouble once religions clash”

Lee Kuan Yew with Mark Jacobson of National Geographic

Q: “Actually, it’s an interesting question that just came up recently that I was going to ask you about. I know that you put a premium on racial harmony and religious harmony and it’s actually more or less legislated here, right?”

Mr Lee:  “Yes, because you can have enormous trouble once religions clash.”

Q:  “Well, the two things I’ve been interested to ask you about that because I agree with you is number one, the recent rise of Evangelical Christians in Singapore.”
