That is correct. It was actually a purported speech by John Howard directed at Muslims. The writer at Mymassa just substituted the ‘Muslim’-related portions with Chinese-related portions.
The word ‘Hokkien’ was also a dead giveaway about the truthfulness of the ‘speech’. Outside of Malaysia, Singapore, and perhaps Thailand, the Hokkien language is known as Taiwanese or Fujianese.

I think KJ will win, not that I like it but the truth is he has all the advantages in his favour.
I too think KJ will win. He’s using gomen resources and machinery not to mention reprising his 2009-style campaign (faham-faham lah).

So the choice belongs to UMNO members actually. It is not that difficult. If they are ‘comfortable” with Khairi’s attitude (including appointing Regina), vote for him.
I am never comfortable with young people given “royal treatment” in politics. They should start from the bottom and slowly climb out by earning the respect and trust. Not by using father in law’s position as the Prime Minister.
And there was this disturbing fact. Why Khairi was so eager to deliver the passport to Anwar? After all, Khairi was never a postman.

First thing first. Dia yang terhegeh-hegeh offer diri after PRU13. I still believe that there is a long standing “gentlemen agreement” between Najib and Tun Dol which resulting in KJ remain scratch free despite being found gulty of money politic in the last PAU in 2009 and remain as UMNO Youth Chief.
Except for Zahid Hamidi, and DPM the rest of UMNO present line up of Ministers are all “poyo”.
I have a very strong feeling that Azalina Othman will be back as Minister soon. Not sure which portfolio. She would not have withdrawn from contesting for nothing. Personally I like her.
Ali Rustam is coming back as Senator and he is another minister at federal level waiting to be appointed sooner or later. Not a federal material though imo.

The sad thing is, Akramsyah is the only challenger. With UMNO members, those who wants their vote, need to be active. Akramsyah only showed up near the PAU. Root members already questioned where was he during the GE13. Akramsyah also did not help to fight for the Shell’s station dealer, which most of them were Malay.
Shell, which is controlled by the non-malay management, seems to pinned every fees to the dealer. Increasing whatever they can. So those dealer turned to Akramsyah for help, knowing his position in Shell which handles the related fees, and also his UMNO roots. Unfortunately, he kept quiet and do nothing, just being professional they said.. And what pissed most of the dealer was, he seems distant with anyone. Arrogant.
So we are in dilemma, to pick KJ or pick Akramsyah. I hate KJ as well, and look up to Tun M. To quote the elder statesmen, Better the devil we know, than the angel that we didn’t.

When you work for an organisation, there are certain policy and procedure that you must follow. He doesn’t own the company, thus he is not at liberty to do as his wishes. I have been in similar position before, it is easier to act cold and distant rather than being friendly and giving empty promises. You have to draw the line at certain point.
Politics is different, once in power you have certain weight that you can throw around. Sebab itu kalau nak tahu orang tu baik ke tidak, beri dia KUASA.

Compared to Akhramsyah, Khairy has a media image of a hands-on person. Most people including me, did not know who Akhramsyah was until he declared that he was going to contest.

That is a chronic syndrome of a typical blue eyed boy/girl of the bosses in the office. His/her head becomes too big for his/her shoulder. Once I had a BFF (now former) with same syndrome who slept with her boss and everybody knows that and even the industry community knows that except her poor husband. I hope she is reading this…LOL
