Similarly telling the whole world that you(PAS) are for islam does not mean you are fighting for Islam. It simply means that Islam can be used as a tool. a potent tool. Just like popes of medieval era used Christianity to control European Kings.
I often told my PS friends that as long as PAS continues with “fitnah and mengumpat”, it will never be able to upstage UMNO.
No need to get mad with Pas. You should thank them. The more they are in bed with the evangelists, the better. Why ? Ask yourself. What would the rural Malays think of Pas ?
Just go to the villages and tell the folks over there what Pas has been doing. Then ask them…Is it worth it to support Pas if religion is a commodity that they can trade with their partners ? Just ask the rural folks.

Why Muslims insist that the word “Allah” to be used exclusively by Muslims only? Why?
It is not the case of being paranoid or insecure. The very basic islamic belief is acknowledging that there is only one God and one God only. And the God is referred as “Allah”.
that is the very basic foundation of islam. Muslims utter the word in praying times and countless other situation. AlQuran is full of verses with the word “Allah”.
Sharing of name will NATURALLY leads to sharing of faith. In crude language, it naturally leads to “murtad”. What can lead to murtad will eventually bring us to “murtad” issue.
“lulus jarum luluslah kelindan” is an old Malay saying. Literally it means to achieve one’s intention, the first step is to get the idea to be accepted.
The word “allah” is not about language issue. It represents the very foundation of islam. Sharing of the name with christians will dilute the ONENESS of Allah SWT. It will create a perception that there is another Allah in the form of Nabi Isa beside the one Muslims worship.
It will “disturb’ the faith. It will disturb the believe that there is only One God. with the name shared, Christian preachers have a field day saying “Samalah ugama kita. Nama Tuhan pun sama”.

Sharing of name will automatically leads to Murtad. That easy eh? So Yusuf Ali English translation of the Quran refers Isa as Jesus, ramai la Kristian yang akan masuk Islam? Since sharing name will lead to people jumping faith.

Example. The Quran says that Christians rewrite history claiming Jesus was crucified, (Qur’an, Sura An-Nisa verse 157-158).
Now show to me a hadith where the Prophet forces the Nasrani to rewrite their bible.

Does it mean that the Prophet agree to Bible’s account of Jesus history when he does not force them to rewrite the Bible to agree with Islamic version of Jesus history?
And please be careful not to simply conclude Surah Al-Kafirun as refering to the Christians and Jews. I know the Surah was revealed at the time of Makkah and refer to the polytheist. The positions of Polytheist and Ahlul Kitab are very different. For example, Surah Al-Maidah verse 5, where many Ulama agree that Muslim can eat livestock butchered by ahlul Kitab.
So we can eat something butchered in the name of Elohim? And you still think Elohim is some other kind of foreign deity?

That is your word. Not mine. And do not be so sure that faith is very intact. A mere word can destroy the faith. What would happen to a 7 year old Muslim boy if one day he receives pamphlet saying that “allah loves mankind and he sent his son to save mankind”. That is Christian doctrine. It can happen. it will happen if we allow it. It is “waiting” to happen if we allow Christian to use the name.
It is very simple actually. Sharing of name in this context will create perception that there is another “allah” beside the one worshipped by Muslim. And that allah is in the form of jesus and trinity concept.
And I never claim Prophet Muhammad SAW forced Christian to rewrite Bible. I only said the issue is about the very foundation of Islam. it is not a linguistic issue. Behind the name is the very concept of Islam.
The Quran clearly says reject the very concept of Christianity that believes God is given birth by someone. Islam does not ask us to force our view on christians.
In this “allah” saga, Muslims only want to defend the sanctity of Islam. The concept of Allah in Islam differs from what christian believe. As such, it should not be allowed.
And “Allah” never been a central issue in Christianity. The word is not even once mentioned in Bible. So, why pastors insist on the word?
The answer is already given in AlQuran. Thy would not be satisfied until we follow their ways.

Pandai saja tuduh DAPster minoriti tapi paling kuat buat bising. Tapi bila sampai kes KJ, kutuk KJ dari hujung rambut sampai hujung kaki. Tak nampak langsung apa kebaikan KJ. Setiap nafas KJ adalah satu kemungkaran yang amat dahsyat. Sampai aku pun boleh terfikir peluang KJ nak menang cuma 50-50 saja.

Therefore, PPMM would wish to go on record to stress that as far as this Honorable Court of Appeal’s decision is concerned, PPMM is of the view that the decision goes as far as prohibiting the Archbishop from using the word “Allah” in “Herald – The Catholic Weekly” publication, and nothing beyond that.
8. PPMM is also of the view, that it would be a misconception on the part of any sections of the public, locally and/or internationally to deem that the decision of the Honorable Court of Appeal has in any way put out a blanket prohibition on any section of the non Muslim community of Malaysia from using the word “Allah”. However, a careful reading of the said judgments will also show that all members of the Malaysian community were allowed to use the word “Allah” in the sense of the Qur’anic/ Islamic reference to God, which is as pronounced in Surah Al Ikhlas, (“Purity”) (Chapter 112) as follows: “Say: He is Allah, The One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none Like unto Him.”.
