“Moving forward with cooperation within Pakatan”

Anil Netto telah memblog hari ini:

“Incidentally, Mujahid Yusof Rawa, says from an insider’s perspective, he prefers to use the term ‘conservatives’ rather than the ‘ulamak faction’, as some of the ulamak may have relatively more progressive views (though he can understand why outsiders may view the contest as one between professionals and the ‘ulamak faction’.

For his part, Mujahid sees the conservatives as applying the ‘hand-brakes’ whenever they think the party is moving too fast in reaching out to others or opening up. But he still feels the majority in the party realise the importance of moving forward with cooperation within Pakatan and reaching out.”

Evangelista Bintang Tiga

Seperti juga Mujahid yang menganggap dirinya sedang “reaching out to [the Christians]”, seorang lagi politikus Melayu yang “opening up” ialah Khairy Jamaluddin.

Khairy telah memberi alasan dia menggaji Regina Lee kerana mahu memberikan orang Cina penyokong DAP “first hand knowledge of what is going on in the Umno ministries”.

Setiausaha Akhbar yang diambil oleh KJ itu nampaknya mempunyai naluri cukup GANASsebiji macam komunis Bintang Tiga — lihat tweetnya di bawah.

  1. Despicable Ang, this latest spin of yours is donwright disgusting. Not everyone believes your racial bullshit.

    1. It’s Sunday morning. I’d have thought that you have plenty City Harvest activities in your church to keep you occupied.

  2. The people of Pas scored an own goal and the Evangelists celebrate like crazy. I wonder if Pas know what they are doing by electing these so called progressives into the party’s decision making body.

    1. The reason evangelistas view them as the so-called progressives is only because they’re church friendly.

  3. Is it wrong to be a bridge builder. Would u rather have Taliban type mentality in the Malay community. Please don’t be a Firestone just for kicks

      1. Are you for peace or anarchy. Please think hard about what you are doing. You are condemning the Malays who want to reach out. They may be naive in doing so but that is how some of them feel, that its better to give peace a chance than to dwell on how conflicting our religions or ideologies are

        1. re: “You are condemning the Malays who want to reach out.”

Who are you reaching out to exactly? Evangelistas who are subverting the very foundation of your religion?

          1. Re Who are you reaching out to exactly? Evangelistas who are subverting the very foundation of your religion?

I have to say that you are not talking to a Malay. The fella is a trooper masquerading as a Malay/Muslim. You of all people should be familiar with these sort of people.

        2. Maybe you are not that familiar with the Malays since you don’t know what is really happening. Have you been to a Malay funeral where non Malays cannot go because they are non Malays and they wear skirts? So is it wrong for some to become bridge builders and say, yes you can come, you were his or her friend and you want to pay your respects.

          1. re: “Maybe you are not that familiar with the Malays since you don’t know what is really happening.”

Well, at least I should think that I’m more genuinely familiar with Malays than the DAP evangelista politicians who have a tudung fetish.

            null

re: “Have you been to a Malay funeral where non Malays cannot go because they are non Malays and they wear skirts?”

Then why wear the mini skirt?

            1. “Have you been to a Malay funeral where non Malays cannot go because they are non Malays and they wear skirts?”

Helen, this is probably the stupidest point of argument I have ever read on your blog’s comments section. It’s so ridiculous that I laughed. Takkan ignorant sangat sampai dress code for a Muslim funeral pun tak tau? Ni la masalah kalau asyik mingle dengan kelompok sendiri je. Bangsa Malaysia, my foot.

          2. I have never heard of such BS that non muslim cannot attend Muslim’s funeral. Yang hang pakai skirt pendek tu utk menziarah jenazah apahal, Adilah?

In any case, u put on a screen name of one liberal perempuan Melayu but u do not sound like one, tersurat dan tersirat…So, I would say its another BS that you put on Helen’s blog.

        3. Helen,

DAP is very happy. Those who are are “friendly” to PAP win big in PAS election.

What what can we expect from PAS. Pleasing DAP is its paramount objective.

  4. I appreciate the fact that you know quite a bit about our religion but I bet my bottom dollar you don’t know what the ‘very foundation’ of our religion is

    1. re: “I appreciate the fact that you know quite a bit about our religion but I bet my bottom dollar you don’t know what the ‘very foundation’ of our religion is”

You are welcome to donate your bottom dollar to the evangelical churches. They collect 10 percent tithe from the monthly income earned by those Born Again’s whom they succeed in converting.

As for the foundation of your religion, if one were to be believe the evangelistas:

Islam is Allah, and Allah is Love (God is Love). Christians worship in Rumah Allah (House of God) and Christians in Malaysia believe that God is 3-in-1 — Allah Bapa (the Father who Art in Heaven), Yesus Anak Allah (Jesus Son of God) and Roh Kudus (Holy Ghost)

The evangelistas are very kindly merging their UBAH God with No-Name-of-His-Own with your Allah, all in the spirit of caring, sharing and building bridges.

      1. Oh, I must add. Virgin Mary, the Holy Mother of God. So it should be “Ibu Allah” since the evangelistas insist that the word ‘God’ must be translated as ‘Allah’.

    1. Adilah, when you do not stand for something, you will fall for anything.

Bridge building is good. But that is NOT what PAS is doing. Do not be fooled.

    2. Adilah is definitely a bridge builder. Bridging the religion of evangelistis and DAP into Islam and muslims. To her as long as Muslims give in to all the whims of evangelists and DAP, that is the right path. A true bridge builder for evangelists and DAP.

Hebat. Next time when some criminals intrude your house or snatch things from you, don’t hit back. Be a bridge builder. What these DAP and evangelists did are so dead apparent like the criminals, she wants us to sit back and be a bridge builder. She typifies Israel way of thinking. After grabbing the lands and build new settlements, israelis want to talk to bridge builder who can accept their policies. Pandai Adilah ini. Dia ingat semua orang bodoh.

      1. Its not about Helen. Its about your idea. When people question the use of Alllah my tolerance level has hit max. We have lived peacefully for hundreds of years like this and suddenly they want to change something very dear to me and many. And they dont even use BM. I’m not going to change my values. They are. There is no more bridge builder.

    3. Ooops, I just perasan yg Adilah cakap Malay funerals up there, bukannya “muslim funerals”. And then mengaku lagi “our religion” as in “I appreciate the fact that you know quite a bit about our religion but I bet my bottom dollar you don’t know what the ‘very foundation’ of our religion is ….(?) ” Nampak sangat masquarade nyer!!

So Adilah, since you so mengaku Muslim, what is the foundation of “our religion” (ie. mine, yours (as you claimed) and other muslims)? If you can write it in Bahasa as good as Helen, even better.

  5. Ellese, iqrak, how sad that you are listening to a blogger who spread hatred. Are you sure she is not DAP in disguise?

    1. re: “Are you sure she is not DAP in disguise?”

How quaint. Pakatan Puak Pembohong said the very same thing about you upthread.

    2. Ah Adilah, Adilah Ahhhhh!

Are you an agnostic or atheist putting on a Muslim mask? Thanks for your 2 sens worth ya Adilah? Are you promoting yourself as a bridging contractor? [YouTube]

  6. Sayang seribu kali sayang. Kenapalah kita buang masa kat blog yang melaga-lagakan sesama melayu. Yang untung cina juga. But since its your blog, I ll let you have the last say.

    1. re: “Yang untung cina juga”

Wow, this kind of race-tinged phrase coming from a person who only a few comments earlier was chest-thumping about “building bridges”. So what happened to all your kumbayah platitudes?

Methinks you are the one who is melaga-lagakan and trying to membatu api. No wonder the Malays are getting more and more suspicious of the chameleons.

    2. Sekejap kumbayah, sekejap ‘orang cina nanti untung’. Make up your mind lah Adilah.

My own principles are clear. Nation building of One Malaysia within the framework of the Federal Constitution and Rukun Negara, Islam as the dominant religion of the Federation and Bahasa Malaysia as the National Language which all blue IC carrying Malaysians ought to know how to speak ala Pang Chin Fei.

Christians proselytizing to Muslims not allowed at the moment because it is against the law, maybe one day this will change. No official use of Mandarin or Tamil e.g. as a medium of instruction in schools, but everyone is free to learn other languages as subjects, the way many Malay-Muslims learn Arabic as an extra language.

NEP cannot go yet but implementation needs a lot of improvement e.g. cannot ignore Indian community. Hudud, hopefully one day when things like zakat etc are disbursed correctly and there is no real poverty, but not at the moment from the way things are run now.

Some of these things Helen does not agree with but she allows civil dialogue here so we may learn about each other. Helen *is* a bridge builder as far as I am concerned. Methinks you, Adilah, should stop reading The Malaysian Insider and try to stand for something.

  7. Okay, forgive me, I stand corrected. Helen could have blocked me from the very beginning but she didn’t. Terima kasih krn memberi ruang

    1. Subhanallah! May Allah bless you with the guiding light of Muhammad s.a.w., ….. you have a good conscience, dear sister.
