I have noticed the Heat sometimes back. It seemed to be a blatant attempt to tarnish the govt in the print media and among the business community. I did read some of the articles and these were even worse than MI or MK. I wondered why the Home Ministry did not step in. Had Hisham was in charge, he would have done nothing but Zahid is a different kettle of fish. Even then someone should have sued them for these blantant lies rather than suspending them.
BTW, Helen there is something else in this that you might be interested. The paper as well as the new Focus business weekly and the antdaily is owned by Tan Sri Clement Hii – ex the Star Deputy Chairman. The Heat is headed by David Lee also the ex the Star editor. Clement also owns the SEGi group.
To me it seems like these publications are front for PR – someone behind the scene is bankrolling operations. I see no point in having more English dailies or weeklies when the current ones losing readership and money. All these point to GE14 I think. Next expect similar politics themed Malay dailies coming up from the same people. UMNO and BN better beware!

Can it be possible that someone right now, at this times, taking the advantage of the chinese? In the Malaysia business world, the majority of it citizen is a Chinese. It’s not having a big population but it can sustain certain product if majority given their support.
You see, this kind of economic newsletter or magazine are not cheap. It expensives. Now majority of the well do people who can buy this type of newsletter are a Chinese.
To attracted more buyer and increasing the sales of this type of product to majority of chinese they need to play with their sentiment of hate toward a Malay. Especially now.

What kind of influence The J-Star has (if any) on the Chinese-educated is negligible since 90 percent of the Chinese voters are already oppo.

And this list was collated by me through close friends who did the dirty work for them or my own investigative enquiries which could come about through years of study of the fascinating politics of Malaysia. But they (the DAP evangelistas) are in total control of all the media and social media even the one that is owned by the MCA. Hence their listeners are only fed the ‘hate Umno’ message be it coming from DAP or MCA.
The juggernaut of Hate will roll on because like you have highlighted, the DAP just never stops. That’s why they’re venturing into the interior of Sabah and Sarawak now while the PPTA is sleeping.

It is alleged in the Star Saturday 21 December 2013 that instead of thinking out and considering options to heal, the political leadership wants to fight some more ! Absurd !

They got the popular vote in GE13, remember? They control the cities, remember? BN has been pushed back to rely on kampung votes, Felda votes and native votes in the interior of Sabah and Sarawak.
On the contrary, it could well be Umno that might not last at the rate that the PPTA is trying to commit harakiri and harbouring the likes of KJ and Regina.

I prefer Malaysia to adopt the Western practice of Doctors only being allowed to prescribe medicine while sale of medicine must be made by Pharmacists – not only better all around “service” from these two esteemed professions but also help reduce this obsession by certain groups of parents wanting their kids to become Doctors “at all costs”

I m going to spell this out in simple terms as I have to attend to some personal matter later.
The majority community is not going to do anything. They have had enough of this hate politics by the DAP. Being labelled as racist at every opportunity by the DAP is certainly not a bed of roses. Enough is enough.
The majority community will just wage a war of attrition. We’re about 4 years away from the next GE. From now on, I believe the majority community, Us that is, will adopt a reactive approach.
The DAP will hurl accusations at Us, we likewise will response in kind. We will not attack first, I mean that in terms of the social media war.
Then comes the GE, we will flex our political muscles. If you think this shift to Umno in GE13 by the Malays is a flux, a one off, you’re dead wrong. This is going to be an ongoing process. We’ve not reached the stage where Malays will entirely moved to Umno’s side the way the Chinese did with DAP in GE13, but we will get there.
Then, some things will happen. As I have said this before, your community will then get into serious trouble.
