Below are the police at work controlling demonstrators on New Year’s eve 2014.
The Malay officers are being squashed from front and back by Malay protestors.
Below is a Pemandu SENIOR ANALYST by the name of Farah Intan Burhanudin.
As we all know, Pemandu are Najib’s team of advisors in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Like Farah Intan, many other driver-advisors are also hotshot greenhorns but since they’re a Najib Special order, they’re fortunate enough to be placed outside the rigid civil service. Their special-ness allows the Pemandu youngsters – but jobwise ranked Senior Analyst – to be given huge salaries and perks way above and beyond the fuddy-duddy, graded old gomen servants.
This issue of their exorbitant salaries (think young Madame Speaker) has been in the news and not too long ago.
Nonetheless, the PMO insists that their hotshot drivers are hired on M-E-R-I-T.
Among the tasks in Farah’s Pemandu scope is one of monitoring the police.
Again as we know, Najib’s ‘Transformation’ programme is an alphabet soup. Among the pieces floating in the soup are KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and NKRAs (National Key Result Areas).
Farah’s job to examine the police’s KPIs and mark their NKRAs.
In other words, this young party queen (picture below) is the Pemandu with the power to check on how well our men in blue perform.
To put it in a nutshell, Farah is vested by Najib Razak’s PMO with the authority to evaluate the police and to tell them how to do their job better.
