Why Najib’s Umno is in trouble

Firstly, the DAP is succeeding in getting the Sabah and Sarawak Christian natives angry. More and more will become angrier in the days to come because the evangelistas are masters at concocting lies and provocations to whip up perpetual hysteria.

Perpetually hysterical people can be easily brainwashed and incited.

Secondly, the opposition are piling on the pressure as Gunting dalam Lipatan The J-Star gleefully told its readers.

The federal government is daily being put on the back foot. That the Inspector-General of Police is hankering for a return of the ISA is an indication of how public order is slipping out of the grip of the authorities.

Who is actually standing behind the BN today? Because the MCA is no longer in government, this BN anchor party has given its Scissorati the green light to openly shred Umno (previously at least they did it surreptitiously).

Thirdly, the Prime Minister has put his trust in all the wrong people.

Khairy Jamaluddin today lamented that some BN leaders ‘syok sendiri’ online. So now let’s ask: Who are the BN leaders most prominently online? No offence but the majority of the cabinet ministers are low key and off the cyber radar, for example, Sabri Yaakob, Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, Joseph Entulu, Rohani Abdul Karim, Fadillah Yusof, etc.

Even the Communication and Multimedia Minister Shabery Cheek is not making waves online. The only BN leaders whose presence are felt online are Najib Razak and Khairy himself.

Thus when KJ takes to task those BN leaders who ‘syok sendiri’ online (see Malaysiakini headline), does he mean Najib or does he mean himself?

Since KJ is obviously too perasan and can only see Adonis when he looks in the mirror, then he must mean that it is Najib who ‘syok sendiri’ online.

So here is the upstart Youth Minister obliquely attacking the PM.

Umno devouring itself

Reverting to the header question: “Why is Najib’s Umno in trouble?” well … please tell me, just who is NOT attacking Najib Razak nowadays? Any exceptions?

Despite Khairy apparently slagging Najib – as you can see above, unless Regina gives another call to Malaysiakini to change the headline – KJ’s camp is at the same time also trying to ‘psiko’ (Malay slang word) the PMO to cantas and act against his (KJ’s) detractors.

Najib doesn’t need external enemies when he has KJ beside him.

  1. Yang syok sendiri is KJ himself.

As a minister for youth, he feels the youth are with him. Dia belum tanya those youth soalan “Dah mendaftar sebagai pengundi ke?”

Of course bila ada aktiviti for sports atau rekreasi, these youth will turn up NOT to see him but to play, relax dari all the belenggu, all the masalah.. So you see KJ you yang syok sendiri.

Helen Blog lebih popular dari KJ. Jangan marah.

    1. re: “As a minister for youth”

Siapa yang lantik dia jadi Pak Menteri? Big, big mistake …

  2. Hiring foreign coach is a waste of money.
But hiring advisors who cant deliver is not a waste of money KAH ?
    Aiyyyya……2×5 = 5×2. maa….
    All same same one.

  3. Frankly I don’t give two hoots about Najib being bludgeoned left right top, bottom, back and front and center, too

A limp, lifeless and CONsultant-dependent leader does not deserve any support from all fronts and yes…I do wonder why we should call him a leader when he does not even show his leadership qualities…

He does not lead but follows what other people wants him to do…..so best that he be gone….

    1. re: “Frankly I don’t give two hoots about Najib being bludgeoned left right top, bottom, back and front and center, too”

Bludgeoned by his enemies in the opposition is understandable. But by KJ? (et tu Brutus)

KJ pun terminum Holy Water, ke?

How could the Kuomintang-inspired MCA backslide into the neo-Marxist leanings of the DAP-Chin Peng party? In political power play, almost everything is possible they say. But this informal alliance cannot claim to represent the traditional excellence of Chinese civilization.

Suffice it to say the DAP formula is a proto-syncretism of global capitalism, radical socialist and racially-hedged, socio-political movement. If this is obviously oxymoronic, then the psychology of its political leaders must be cognitively dissonant, certainly bordering on the psychotic. In other words, you’ll never be able to discern their inner convictions and principles from their external behaviour. Could we understand this abnormal psychology as unscrupulous political expedience?

      Ratu tudung, jaguh #sahur.

            1. Comparing DAP evangelistas to seladang is defaming the animal.

The DAP 3.0 politicians are better compared to iguanas/chameleons.

  5. The ignorant and arrogant comments from Perkasa, Isma, Ibrahim Ali, the Federal ministries, Utusan, have been far more effective in upsetting the Christians in East Malaysia.

    1. Likewise, the “ignorant and arrogant comments” from The Herald editor and its cahoots, Father whateverisname is…totally irked most Muslims.

A religion who can change the name of its god as and when it fancies in order to get more converts surely cannot be seriously taken.

Also when there are numerous versions of the bible ( depending on which flock you belong to, surely lacks the truth..)

AC-DC…. just remember for every comment there opposite and contrasting views…. Tak kan itu tak tau…or are you too confused yourself….

      1. “A religion who can change the name of its god as and when it fancies in order to get more converts surely cannot be seriously taken.”

If it cannot be taken seriously, as you said, then there is no need to prohibit the Bumiputera Christians from practising their own religion.

        1. Re: “no need to prohibit the Bumiputera Christians from practising their own religion.”

Why you never want to admit that nobody prohibit anybody to practise their own religion..

just don’t UBAH their God’s name and face.. don’t let Jesus confuse.. LOL

          1. For your information, they have been using ‘Allah’ before we became independent and before the formation of Malaysia. With no issue.

There was no sense for the ministry to ‘ubah’ their policy in 1986.

            1. I got this information from ex minister Leo Moggie.. my statement referring to christian’s God..

Is it the padris when to promote their christian, told them that the name of Christian’s God is Allah? if they do so.. on what reason?

Do you have any logical answer?

                1. You just repeating after me.. fail to answer my simple question.. Leo Moggie is not re-brand his God to Allah not as christian evangalista doing..

                  1. re: “fail to answer my simple question”

Join the club Ibni Ismail. The rest of us have also asked AC-DC simple question. He’s unable to give straightforward answer.

  6. I’m sorry Helen but they’re not.

The overwhelming majority of the Sabahan and Sarawakian Christians are not buying into this whole ‘suppression of religious rights’ propagates by the DAP.

In fact, the strategy of trying to pull them in and riling them up is backfiring. They don’t want to be dragged into the mess the priests and the DAP created. All they want is to be left alone to continue with their lives and practise their religion freely like they have always been doing so.

DAP leadership in Sabah is in shambles because their brand of politics doesn’t work with the Sabahans. So far, from I can see, it’s only making a slight dent with the young Chinese, but certainly not with the Bumiputra Christians.

Whatever dream they have for Sabahans and Sarawakians will remain just that – dreams.

    1. re: “the strategy of trying to pull them in and riling them up”

Now Karpal is trying to drag the Sikhs into the imbroglio. Earlier Guan Eng tried very hard to incite the Buddhists and Hindus to also get involved.

As to the Christian sentiments, I was going by the BN Sabah-Sarawak politicians barometer.

Would appreciate when you come across relevant articles in the Sabah-Sarawak papers (e.g. Borneo Post) if you could let us know. Just drop the article url in the Comment box, thanks.

      1. Note;

The Chinese Christian Serawak is considered gone in the previous PRN, hence the abolishedTimbalan Ketua Menteri post.

  7. UMNO would only be in real trouble if it had serious internal bickerings like it used to have in the late 1980’s. That’s the worst situation UMNO had ever experienced when it got itself deregistered and had to re-register via UMNO Baru. Najib is lucky that presently it’s a stable party where major internal differences are non existence.

If Najib were to be ‘pushed’ out of UMNO before his term as UMNO Presidents ends, UMNO would still be solid and steady. His ‘replacement’ would be more Malay-centric and this may spell trouble to DAP and to most org Cina. I can understand Helen’s concern if a leftish UMNO leader would to take over the Prime Ministership from the liberal, clueless Najib.

    1. Personally I hope Najib stays on.

If he jettisons The Minister, chances are bright (just my 2sen observing from the sidelines) that he will.

      1. Unless najib do something miracle, he will be ‘ a former prime minister’ by end of this year.. you can smell from the silence of his TPM..

        1. He can sack The Minister. That would be one measure that will be well received by the power on high (in my humble opinion).
