KJ’s Kementerian must be full of Dapster interns

Najib Razak should take away his youngest Minister’s billion ringgit budget as Khairy Jamaluddin is capable of running his Ministry without incurring any cost.

Truly, Khairy can make miracles happen. See Kit Siang’s video (below) on the Magic of KJ.

Nope, I’m not uploading the “KJ rasuah! KJ rasuah!” cries at the Umno Youth election of 2009. It’s another separate video of the then Parliament Opposition Leader (Kit Siang) informing the august house that Malaysia holds the distinction of the World’s Richest Unemployed 28-year-old.

Dunno lah what is KJ’s secret of “not working” but having ‘millions’ as Kit Siang told the Parliament. But as to KJ’s staff cheerfully working but not paid any salary, we can surmise that the trick lies in the Menteri Kangkung growing his favourite veginatable for free in his garden.

As we’re all aware, Khairy’s secretary’s BFF is Hannah Yeoh.

As we’re also aware, the DAP is wildly popular among 90 percent of the Chinese. So much so that the Chinese youngsters are queuing up at the DAP’s door to sign up for internship — see Hannah Yeoh’s revelation below.

Dapsters volunteering in droves

So how do you think the Kementerian Belia dan Sukan has been managing to get by without paid staff? My guess this … @reginalah must have given a call to her BFFs in the DAP.

The DAP evangelista leadership saw a golden opportunity in the Umno Ministry – Youth some more, a portfolio where there are millions of blur youngsters who will be eligible as voters in 2018 – opening its door to Dapster volunteers.

So the DAP quickly sent over hundreds of their young interns to serve in KBS for free. This is my theory on how KJ could have possibly managed his Ministry without any gomen money compared to Waytha who couldn’t get things moving.

Khairy yesterday made a whole series of tweets reasoning why Hindraf’s P. Waytha Moorthy really doesn’t need his own budget to run an Indian unit (btw, the Blueprint unit was never set up, which was why Waytha quit).

Next time Waytha must learn to build bridges for Dapsters to cross into the BN government inner sanctum.

Then he could have been regarded as a “team player” just like KJ — a Firster politician who is equally acceptable to the Pakatan side.

  1. Good. At least, he can recognise talent without being blinkered by the shackles of race, religion or affirmative action.

Or is that too much for you to stomach, Helen?

Do I detect notes of envy and resentment here that you are not part of the Oxbridge, LSE and Ivy League alumni that KJ is part of, and who he thinks may be instrumental in bringing new ways of thinking into Malaysia?

Because, Helen, blinkers and all, it simply cannot be business as usual. Malaysia has to earn it’s way in the world by being more efficient, nimble and smart than the competition.

Because, no matter how much Perkasa and those of similar mindsets rail against it, change is coming. To Asean, to the region and to Asia.

The question is whether Malaysia is preparing itself well to handle this and make sure that it stays relevant amidst geopolitical realities.

I think KJ recognises this. As do the more thoughtful on both sides of the political divide.

Countries will be tagged as winners or losers, come 2020. Let’s hope Malaysia is numbered amongst the winners.

    1. “Claps, claps, claps” (imitating Teo Nie Ching). Please do go ahead and nominate Khairy as Pakatan’s acceptable compromise candidate for Deputy Prime Minister to straddle a new unity government.

    2. Zoltan,

Changes happen both ways. It can bring Malaysia to greater height or it also can reduce Malaysia to ashes.

Malaysia ever since the departure of Tun from political scene is plagued with indecisive leaderships. Tun during his tenure is known as being firm yet fair.

Westerners hate him. But they respect him for being bold, honest, saying the truth and beside showing the world that Western values may not be suitable in some countries.

He is continously ridiculed. Yet his firmness in putting armies into several Spratly island chains enable Malaysia to stake a claim into the vast strategic atolls.

He locked horn with Malay Royalty. for that he until today has been accused of selling Malay rulers. He could have played to the gallery back than. At hand of a cunning PM, Malaysia can see the end of Malay Sultans. But he just put Malay rulers into a better footing.

He is not vengeful. in 1990 election, one Sarawak based political party pulled out from BN at 11th hour based on misleading assumption that Razaleigh would have won the election. The leader of that party must be trembling as Razaleigh failed to wrest the Federal Government. In other counties, backstabbing can literally mean death to those who initiate it.

AS FOR KHAIRY, he is bringing change to BN. Unfortunately not for the betterment of UMNO.

Sometimes I do wonder how on earth UMNO still survive with massive onslaught by DAP . Not to mention the enemy within.

UMNO is simply lucky as Malays simply do not have better alternatives.

      1. ‘……..UMNO is simply lucky as Malays simply do not have better alternatives……..’

        1. Agree wth u norlin. I tot najib wd make better pm than tun dol. Najib is much, much worse, dumb, inert, wastefull, indecisive, clueless, lembab… what else? He’s not only a liability to the nation but also a threat. The soonest he goes, the best. All he cares is his own popUlarity by all kinds of cash gifts mcm duit bapak dia.

          1. re: “what else?”

I think the PM has many good points (berniat baik, bersangka baik, bertolak-ansur, sabar) but his appointment of KJ as a Minister is one of his biggest career mistakes.

                    1. Yes. But time and again this guy had chicken out. So I’m guessing if bold is not his second nature, then it must have been his kelemahan doing the job extending olive branch to Waytha…

                    2. It’s Najib accommodating nature. He really wants to be inclusive.

And like I said, niatnya baik. Unfortunately execution of plan not so top notch.

      2. “In other counties, backstabbing can literally mean death to those who initiate it.”

Mahathir has turned against so many people in UMNO, including Abdullah Badawi. Now he tries the same tactic with Najib.

That is backstabbing. And in other countries (usually despotic banana republics), backstabbing can literally mean death to those who initiate it.

    3. At least Khairy has the sense to know that the Barisan Nasional needs to transform to stay relevant. The conservatives keep rambling and daydreaming about the so-called good old days of Mahathir and think that disagreement or dissent can simply be eradicated by banning or using the I.S.A. Reality check my friends, it does not work that way anymore. In fact, curtailing freedom and disagreement would only make their problems worse. It is too bad the Mahathir-worshippers are too arrogant to see it.

  2. Where is the sincerity of Najib vis-a-vis the Hindraf MOU? If the Con-sultants can be paid few billions, why can’t Najib allocate e.g. RM50 mil per annum to Waytha so that he can use the money to assist the poor Indians. If government has no problem paying toll companies RM400 mil per year and allow MAS to suffer RM1.17 bil loss last year, RM50 mil per year for poor Indians is peanuts. At least allocate some budget to show sincerity.

  3. I vote KJ as MAS CEO to make if profitable. He can do it as he’s a nut in a bottle. Go for ot MR President of Aedes.

  4. Helen I don’t like the guy. He is a suspect. Either he is duri dalam daging dalam UMNO is yet to be seen.

But I’m suspecting that you are fast becoming Waytha’s mouth piece. They guy can’t speak for himself is it? Ask him to come in and speak his mind of!

    1. re: “you are fast becoming Waytha’s mouth piece”

Haha, some of them have made me an honorary Indian, so I’m becoming a de facto spokesman on one or two issues?

re: “Ask him to come in and speak his mind of!”

      I wish he would ,)

But as you know and our LOL has been teasing and trying to solicit, the Indian participation in my blog could be better (more vocal).

My theory is this: The ‘educated’ (hence articulate in English) Indians tend to be Christians and urban or suburban professionals.

They have a greater affinity for the Jerusubang Firster ideology, and as one example Mr Hannah Yeoh, they do not consider themselves to be ‘Indian’.

The Indians facing problems, e.g. eviction, living in the rural areas. See their photos, Mengkibol railway line HERE.

So the Saya Bangsa Malaysia (“not Indian actually”) take the attitude that Hindraf is “racist”.

We mustn’t mention our skin colour you see (“all of us are Malaysians only”) and consequently they reject the approach that certain sets of problems, e.g. DEWs – Displaced Estate Workers, are unique to a certain class of Indians.

      null

      1. I don’t think I look Indian at all. But I have been asked many times over about it. My answer will always be a big Maybe. You never know would you. Especially among the Malays.

Only recently I was being informed by my stepmom (my late dad’s first wife) that our paternal great great grandfather was a Cina. So there you go.

        1. Malay society is an accepting one. To them, there’s no question at all that Dr M is Malay. It is the Dapsters who keep challenging it.

I mean kalau masyarakat Melayu itu sendiri menganggap Tun seratus-peratus Malay, then he is lah. Who are the Dapsters to define what or who a Malay is, and say he is not.

Anyone can be Malay :) Natrah, Syed Albar, Ridhuan Tee, Bosnian, Bangladeshi (kalau kahwin Melayu) …

The last thing the Dapster-evangelista-Chinese want is to be Malay-sian but they have the cheek and the gall to push their Anak Bangsa Malaysia voodoo to screw up the identity of the majority.

  5. “So how do you think the Kementerian Belia dan Sukan has been managing to get by without paid staff? My guess this … @reginalah must have given a call to her BFFs in the DAP.

Evidence please, not some half baked conspiracy theory from the recycle bin of the ‘Utusan’ editor.

      1. That in a nut shell sums you up. A bitching blogger with the level of substance of an ant. No even that would be insulting to an ant. No offence ya..its just sarcasm
