Christian MP boasts that a DAP chief of air force or navy would surely have located the plane

Updated, 5.40pm: The Christian Member of Parliamnent concerned has retracted his statement — ‘DAP MP makes turn back on MH370 remark(Malaysiakini).

His overweaning arrogance is a display of Christian triumphalism.

MH370 crisis: Putrajaya must urgently rethink its relationship with MCA

It is not the fault of Najib Razak or Umno or BN or Putrajaya that flight MH370 went missing.

And although there were admittedly a few shortcomings in the way the authorities handled the matter, still there is not much more that Najib, Umno, the BN, Putrajaya and MAS could have done to placate the Chinese families.

Catuan air menyusahkan orangramai tetapi J-Star diam jer

MH370 reveals how the opposition think and what they really feel

Lim Kit Siang gleefully reproduced in his blog today an article titled ‘MH370: Pressure starts piling on govt‘ written by FMT columnist Jeswan Kaur.

In her very first paragraph, Jeswan already strikes the Pakatan standard note. She accuses: “Even in the face of a heartbreaking crisis, the Malaysian government could not let go of its insatiable hunger for politicking.”

“Balik kampung” lah, the PM taunted in his own NajibRazak Facebook

Najib Razak was scheduled to address a press conference just now at 1.30pm on the missing MH370 plane. However, the Prime Minister only started his presser at 2.19pm. The delay was apparently due to tight security checks on the newsmen.

The late start to the presser caused disgruntled commenters in the Malaysian social media to turn to Najib’s official Facebook account to vent their dissatisfaction and to mock. Continue reading ““Balik kampung” lah, the PM taunted in his own NajibRazak Facebook”

PM’s Facebook of Bangladeshi friends (Pt 2 of Najib ‘Lost’ series)

If Najib Razak’s official Facebook is full of Bangladeshi friends, then the public might be persuaded to think why not 40,000 Bangladeshi phantom voters, right?

This is a follow-up to my earlier observations in Part 1 about Najib’s Twitter account which is devoid of his aura (personality). Now let’s examine his Facebook pula. Continue reading “PM’s Facebook of Bangladeshi friends (Pt 2 of Najib ‘Lost’ series)”

Opposition exploiting the MAS opportunity

Blogger Gopal Raj Kumar of http://www.takemon.wordpress.com contributed the following comment:

“What’s disgusting and typically Pakatan about this note of condolence is that it is an insincere and exploitative bit of indecency typical of the Pakatan mindset.

“A condolence should be separate and stand on its own instead of standing on the bodies of 239 innocent passengers not caught up in this filthy PKR struggle.” — grkumar @ 2014/03/09 at 2:17 pm

1,001 little cuts to Najib’s reputation

As I have illustrated in my previous postings ‘MH370: Condolences, but …‘ and ‘Rosmah, Guan Eng and the flight disappearance‘, the fate of the missing MAS airplane cannot avoid being politicized because that is the key plank to how the opposition operate.

As a further example of the politicization, the DAP’s tudung-wearing evangelista Yang Berhormat tweeted: “Whole world searching for airlines, Najib searches for chickens. Fantastic” (see below). Continue reading “1,001 little cuts to Najib’s reputation”

Why Comango allowed inside but Muslim NGOs kept out?

An ‘interesting’ (if we can call it that) screed yesterday from The Nut Graph editor Jacqueline Ann Surin in her column. Her article ‘Malaysia’s pursuit of anarchy‘ talked about some “recent favourite targets for threats, hate speech and criminal intimidation”. Among the targets — the Christians, Teresa Kok, Malaysiakini and Comango, according to Jacqueline.
