Banyak perniagaan di Selangor yang tergendela atau diganggu operasi mereka, misalnya kedai dobi, salon gunting/cuci rambut, restoran, kilang, dll.
Kalau ianya kerajaan persekutuan yang boleh dipersalahkan atas masalah potongan bekalan air ini, saya yakin The J-Star akan hari-hari muatkan cerita muka depan merungut tentang betapa peritnya kita hidup tanpa air (paip).
Akan tetapi sebab catuan air di Selangor mendedahkan kepincangan urus tadbir sebuah kerajaan negeri Pakatan maka para pemberita dan wartawan The J-Star (evangelista), penulis ruangan pojok The J-Star (evangelista) dan pengarang The J-Star (evangelista) pun senyap sahaja.
Merujuk kepada tulisan bekas Ahli Parlimen Wangsa Maju, Wee Choo Keong, yang bertajuk ‘Are the MCA leaders aware of the “Api Dalam Sekam” in The Star?’, biar saya tolong jawab.
Bukan sekadar pemimpin MCA sedar akan perkara ini tetapi mereka sebenarnya bersekongkol dan bersubahat dengan media milik mereka itu.
J-Star: Di Selangor “water solution”, di N. Sembilan “water crisis”
Apabila melapor tentang darurat air di Selangor (negeri Pakatan), The J-Star meletakkan tajuk berita ‘Water solution‘ — lihat skan, bawah.
“Folk can expect water supply every two days” – skan atas – ditafsir sebagai “sweet respite” oleh suratkhabar pro-DAP itu.
Tatkala kita semua mengeluh tidak cukup air untuk mandi dan memasak serta terpaksa pula menangguh kerja-kerja mengemas bagi tempoh 48 jam, The J-Star pula boleh lega kerana kerajaan Selangor Speaker kesayangan mereka mengadakan catuan air sebagai kaedah menangani masalah.

Kalau ia kerajaan BN yang buat sebegitu rupa (potong air), pasti The J-Star akan memperlekeh serta mengutuk habis-habisan.

Namun apabila melapor tentang kemungkinan empangan kering di Negeri Sembilan yang di bawah pemerintahan BN, The J-Star meletakkan tajuk berita ‘Water crisis‘. Cuba banding: Selangor dikatakan “penyelesaian”, di Negeri Sembilan dikatakan “krisis”.
Kecenderongan si Gunting Dalam Lipatan untuk sengaja memburukkan BN tetapi sebaliknya membuat ‘damage control’ bagi Pakatan sudah terang lagi bersuluh.
MCA sebagai tuan milik Kumpulan Media Star mesti pertanggungjawabkan atas pengkhianatan tidak berselindung lagi yang dilakukan oleh jentera propaganda mereka.
Pengerusi BN tidak wajar memberi kerusi kabinet kepada MCA. Pemimpin MCA tidak layak dilantik sebagai ahli jemaah menteri kerana perangai mereka sekarang lebih DAP daripada DAP.

J-star adalah umpama ahli nujum moden yang duduk di meja cantik dan kerusi yang empuk dan meneka apakah perasaan orang lain.
Bagi mereka rakyat selangor perlu bersyukur kerana hanya dicatu air selama dua hari sahaja dan bukannya berhari hari. Itulah yang mereka nujumkan kerana bagi mereka tidak ada cacat celanya pemerintahan PR.
Sebaliknya jika negeri itu diperintah oleh BN secara automatik rakyat negeri itu berada didalam kezaliman dan terseksa setiap hari dengan pemerintahan yang tidak berperi kemanusiaan. Oleh itu mereka menujumkan walaupun rakyat negeri NS yang mendapat bekalan air setiap hari, itu tidak bermakna kerana mereka berada didalam seksaan.
Pada mereka apalah catuan air dua hari di selangor berbanding dengan kezaliman yang dialami dan seksaan yang dialami oleh rakyat NS yang diperintah BN.
Begitu juga, apalah sedikit(???) jalan-jalan yang rosak, berbanding dengan jalan elok di NS sehingga setiap kali melintasi sempadan tidak perlu lagi melihat papan tanda sempadan untuk mengetahui anda berada di sempadan mana ;)

Look at the woman in the photo struggling with her pail of water. That is called ‘water solution’? ‘Be thankful that we have a bucket of water while the unfortunate ones just have drops of it’? Although I am grateful that I am not afflicted with severe cases of drought, I really get cheesed-off with the smug way The Star is trying to whitewash the incompetency of the state government. We are having a water crisis and they know it.
Helen, you even told me that one poor woman even miscarried her twins in the process of carrying water. What about elderly folks living in flats who are affected by water rationing? Do they even give a thought of how the water crisis affects everyone in general? As it is, part of my daily routine is already interrupted because of water rationing and it takes time and effort to store water. Good thing that I am staying with my mom – otherwise I can’t imagine how my mom is going to store water for her needs given her present condition.
If PR likes to blame BN for being corrupt and racists, then I will also say that PR is foolish and incompetent, as they can’t even solve problems relating to basic needs such as water supply. I am disgusted to the core.

Selangorian got what they wish for when they vote PR(DAP+PAS+PKR). Remember they voted ABU for SOLUTION to their ‘Personal Problems’ and now they got the ‘REAL SOLUTION” to their problem They no Problems in Selangor except all are SOLUTION.
Shah Alam Jalan Lubang, Kajang Denggi, Subang Jaya makin Kotor all that are SOLUTION to ABU.
He He Penangnise also got they wish for when they voted ABU and got DAPters to lead them while PR and PAS just a sleeping partner. Of course rest of the country especially ‘PENING-SULAH ‘ Malaysia got what they wish when they voted BN they got the wonderful 1 Malaysia PM- AH GIB GOR.

I’ve been affected by the water cut and I put most of the blame for it on the Selangor State government which could have agreed to the construction of new water facilities such as Langat 2 and the water transfer agreement much earlier.
I rarely buy a newsppaer these days but when I do, I try to buy an NST and avoid The Star which isn’t fit to use as toilet paper.
‘Amazing’ innit how the English media has conspired to bury the water cut story so that it does not adversely affect the S’gor Pakatan gomen.
I consider MCA as a partner in collusion with The J-Star‘s treachery.
