KJ photobomb
Congrats to both finalists.
Oh well, we dunno who “Thomas” is anyway.
Liew Daren’s nerve held up in the second set I must say.
Third singles is nerve wracking. Final game (rubber) to determine Cup winner.
Hasbullah Awang: “Satu permainan yang mencemaskan.” KJ seen jumping like a monkey.
Wow, heavy weight on the shoulders of the third singles.
Yay… 2-2
Second doubles going into rubber.
KJ is in New Delhi to tumpang glamer!
He’s sitting court side.
Very fast game the second doubles.
Japan vs Malaysia 2-1
Razif Sidek is also a commentator for this finals.
The sportscaster is such a familiar voice we grew up with — Hasbullah Awang
If I’m not mistaken, the last time Malaysia won the Thomas Cup we had a national holiday.
Japan wins the second singles. The Japan player Momota is a left hander.
Just saying: The two Malaysians Tan Boon Heong-Hoon Thien How are so fair skinned.
How come guys who live in tropical country just 5 degrees north of the equator can still remain so fair?

The match point was nailbiting! A closely fought third set. Japan wins the first doubles though.
Doubles match into rubber game. Break time now.
Grandpapa Dapster appears to be gloating
Look at all the player names Kit Siang listed out below:
BUT REMEMBER
There are no Indians and “zero Chinese” in the national badminton squad.
All the “Magnificent Seven” are Malaysian. Mua ha ha hah to the Dapsters.
One up for Malaysia. Lee Chong Wei won his match.
Now the first doubles pair is playing.
I’m doing this post saje-saje and will just paste whatever stuff that catches my fancy.
The Li Ning brand logo keeps flashing on screen.
Li Ning was China’s Olympic multiple gold-winning gymnast. He founded the Li Ning sports apparel and equipment company in 1990 after retirement from active competition.
The Li Ning company is really big today. The man himself sits as chairman of the board. Aaaah, the Chinese entrepreneurial spirit.
Some Chinese men are good looking (above). Some Chinese men look like this (below).
Photo pinched from Annie’s blog. Btw, congrats. Annie has joined the blog “millionaire” club.
Hi Helen, first time I’m posting my comment here. Love you! Keep posting and keep “cucuk” our politicians. Hope they learn something!
Ram has won. DAP supporters taunt losers. So gentlemen.
http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/263832
R1 Hehehe… Huan Choo lose deposit, me likey.
Mama Mia Election Commission should declare this election null and void because Ram won by too much majority. He He He4
AkuMelayu-tetapi ABU jugak, Don’t PlayPlay !!! We the Rakyat of Malaysia are looking forward to the three Dogs of CELAKA UMNO to lose their deposits… Especially the chinese running Dog going by the name of Huan..!!… Jahanamkan CELAKA UMNO…!!!..
I find it difficult to believe that the commenter going by the handle “AkuMelayu-tetapi ABU jugak” is really a Malay.
RBA chameleon masquerading.
Thank you LKS for listing all their names. Maklumlah kita yang lain ni duk ingat nama Lee Chong Wei saja. Itu pun sebab dapster yang suka menulung namanya, especially kalau dia berdiri sebelah Rosmah atau bergambar dengan Rosmah.
Come on TH and Boon Heong. Bring it home. Stressnya tengok kejar kejar ni.
All I hear amongst the chinese is that they want the Pendatangs to win – always trying so hard to prove a political point. Sickening. Let’s see what God’s will is.
Tell the Cinas the stupid lazy sakais also contributed la!!!
Coach Rashid Sidek
Oppo supporters *sigh*, sports also want to spin and incite hatred. Lepas tu tak sedar diri, tuduh kita pula yang nak wreak havoc all over the tanahair. dESPICABLE!!!
2-1 so far, Japan leading. This. Is. Killing Me. Are we ever going to be able to bring home the Thomas Cup?
What’s with the politics? This is about bringing home the cup after decades. Not about whether the present team is better than team ’92. Team ’92 had already proven they are winners. If team 2014 win then its a win for the nation. They are carrying the Malaysian flag not the rocket.
‘They are carrying the Malaysian flag not the rocket.’
Exactly!
wei.. some of us hardly have any melanin in our skin la, go out in the sun and we just burn. Cannot get tanned. Skin turns red, flakes off and back to pale.
Malaysian second singles leng chai also very fair.
‘leng chai also very fair’
Ahem. Ahem. Waa, Helen cuci mata nampak!! ;))
This is Gen Y or Gen Z “babies”.
I remember the 1992 team!
prolly ‘cos they play indoors ma hahaha
We’re like how many generations here already. We should be browner :D

Finally saw KJ shouting his support. Ada jugak? Alahai….
Rather have Rosmah.
Helen have you seen this?

Have the Dapsters responded?
Darren Liew Malaysians counting on u to bring back the Thomas Cup.
This is not looking good. Poor Chong Wei, he put up a good game.
https://i.chzbgr.com/maxW500/3424201472/h205BB03D/
Why did we pick that one, whose facial expression looks like his grandma had just died, to represent Our country in the Thomas Cup? I’m not blaming him but I blame the selectors.
Who you talking about? It’s sports – its about ability not looks.
You’re right.
Depa ni fighting spirit cukup bagus terutama di set pertama set kedua single menurun tak tahu kenapa hopely single ketiga bole buat keajaiban set double tak ada problem of
Liew Daren’s claw back when he was trailing in the second set was nerves of steel.
At this point of time I agree but we don’t know how many old men like me had died more than once, already.
The Ueda (Japanese third singles) guy was steady. Well deserved win for him.
Celaka punya Kit Siang! He had jinxed the Malaysian team with his racis tweet! So now what say you? All the cina player had wasted rakyaat money?? What you gonna say Kit Siang? Celaka lu!
LKS is soooooooo veeeeeeerrrrry irrrrrrritating.
Just wondering what the results would have turned out to be had KJ not turned up.
So what you’re saying is we have not one but two jinxes – LKS and KJ.
One from each side of the political divide.
Keep the politicians away from our athletes!
‘Keep the politicians away from our athletes!’
Agree. Sport perhaps the last frontier that can unite us all. Other than food la.
LKS must be having multiple orgasm tonite by tweeting all the Cinas nama of the country’s Thomas Cup team. What a jerk!
Ugghhh. That’s a really, really terribly ugly image you;re planting in my head. lol
It struck me as well that the first line-up are all Chinese.
If the badminton squad had won, it’d have thumbed our nose at Isma and Ridhuan Tee for dismissing the contributions of the Chinese.
‘If the badminton squad had won, it’d have thumbed our nose at Isma and Ridhuan Tee for dismissing the contributions of the Chinese.’
I’m terribly depressed (baru had my dinner la) over the lost. But I sure can see that coming too. When will the Cinas stop behaving like typical pendatangs?
Both sides at fault lah. Don’t just blame the Chinese alone.
I empathize with the 90 percent POV. It’s just that I don’t agree with the approach that they’re taking which I believe to be counter productive and ultimately self-defeating.
It is still a thumbed nose to the arrogance of Isma and Ridhuan Tee. Without those players, it is unlikely we would have made it past the semi-finals. So close, but still so far.
It would have been great if they won the Cup. Also if Lee Chong Wei had won the Olympic gold instead of silver.
Achievement in sports will raise the non-political Chinese above the current DAP-Chinese vs Umno-Malay fight. It will show that Chinese are just ‘ordinary’ success-oriented people without the need for the race to be tied to the DAP.
I believe that the squad as Thomas Cup champs would have helped the Chinese community break away from their DAP image.
And I suspect Lee Chong Wei is pro-BN :D from his the slant of his public appearances.
‘It is still a thumbed nose to the arrogance of Isma and Ridhuan Tee.’
You typical Cina! When the country’s football team lost, you blamed it on the Malays ( Celaka Jstar talks about the lacks of multibangsa, as if the Malays are stopping anyone from playing) When the badminton team lost the Thomas Cup last night, you would still wanted to play the race card.
Bila nak berhenti jadi pendatangs? Bila orang points to the obvious, korang mengamuk!
Who is the President of FAM for the past 30 years that recently only step down and pass on the baton to his son?
Look at our football standard 30 years ago and compare with the current performance. If a person is accountable, he would have voluntarily resign within months of taking office.
Making into the final and putting up a good fight against Japan itself is a great achievement already. Still can thumb our nose at Isma and RT.
Hoisting the Cup is conclusive. It would have been great and done wonders to rehabilitate the image of the Chinese community battered as “penceroboh”.
Toshiba, when you wanna talk BOLA, I talk about the pemain asking more Cinas to be actively invloved and contributed, other than thumbing their nose down profusely and utter itu celaka, ini celaka, you talk the ketua, that has been fairly criticized.
Yet when it comes to the Thomas Cup team, all you see are the Cina faces. What about Rashid Sidek the Ketua Jurulatih, dia tak contribute langsung meh?
Typical pendatangs la u!
islam1st,
Nobody deny the contribution of Sidek.
Fish starts to rot from its head. Football is not merely about players. In fact, the people holding positions in the exco is equally important. The policy makers are at the top of the exco. Not the players. Liberalise FAM from royalty and politicians. Then we will see improvement in quality and non-Malays joining the squad.
re: ………… you talk the ketua, that has been fairly criticized.
Who has criticized the Sultan publicly? I have not seen any. In fact, no body dares to do so.
‘Then we will see improvement in quality and non-Malays joining the squad’
Toshiba, tell me, does FAM has a no Cina policy on their doors? Who’s stopping the non-Malays joining the squad. Indians are contributing just fine. They don’t brag about dismantling this or that first as a prerequisite for them to contribute towards national football. Why can’t the Cinas just do the same?
Stop being a typical Cina DAP, can or not?
Perhaps it was the Cinas whom boycotting football, for the obvious reasons. Too many Malays maa hoh?!
‘Who has criticized the Sultan publicly? I have not seen any. In fact, no body dares to do so.’
Perhaps cakap berlapik just won’t do it for a Cina like you.
And royalty?
‘All the cina player had wasted rakyaat money??’
Not that we gonna start blaming anyone of them for their lost. They had put a brave fight and I’m sure all of us are proud of them, but I’m sure knew who would have tried to steal the limelight, should the team had win the Thomas Cup.
re: ‘I’m sure knew who would have tried to steal the limelight, should the team had win the Thomas Cup”
See visual. Crying KJ photobomb.
If Malaysia had been the champs … hmmm
As expected Ram Kapal win. A pretty much of “tsunami”. What that’s I hear ? The “tokong” doesn’t take lightly to defeat, so you vote Ram to avoid his wrath ? Poor datuk Huan. Even if he didn’t get deposit back, at least don’t insult his faith!! https://www.facebook.com/WeFullySupportprdap/photos/a.425317754269272.1073741828.425312047603176/471349746332739/?type=1&theater
Helen, what does it say? Are they making fun of Lady Guan Yin? Are these Kristian Baru youngster making mockery of Buddhism?
What would MCCBCHST say on this religious intolerance?
No lah. They’re just saying the Goddess should cane Superman.
Sorry, I meant Huan.
‘Huan’
Speaking of which, did you get to see the DAP Cina try to bully Mr Huan, after the latter had caught him ‘cheating’ with his baju ungu jacket, manning the polling centre. What was the name of the DAP Cina again?
Dunno.
But just now I mixed up Huan Cheng Guan with Hew Kuan Yau. Easily to just remember the nickname.
Helen, I was talking about this, apparently it was Phee Boon Poh.
‘Parti Cinta Malaysia candidate Datuk Huan Cheng Guan had a brief shouting match with DAP state executive councillor Phee Boon Poh outside a polling station when the former accuses the latter of campaigning outside the station.
Huan and his supporters were earlier unhappy that a group of Pasukan Peronda Sukarela (PPS) wearing their purple uniform were standing at the vicinity of the SJKC Kong Min 2 in Paya Terubong this morning.
A shouting match between Huan and Phee broke out outside the school gate when Huan tried to prevent Phee from entering the compound.
Huan alleged Phee, who is also wearing the purple PPS vest, of campaigning near the polling station when the elections rule clearly states that they can’t campaign within 50m from a polling station.

Got video some more!
Get EC on the case then for violation of campaigning rules.
I think the DAP so called “educated”, professional, middle-class vicious supporters (read: Jerusubang) are beyond reason.
It is sad if the DAP’s working class, not so well educated (i.e. no fancy paper qualifications) Chinese supporters – the Ah Pek and Ah Soh – are mistakenly inflicted the brunt of the coming backlash.
I believe Huan had made a police report and to EC as well. We’ll see how it goes. DAP kalau tak PENIPU tak sah!!!
re: “DAP kalau tak PENIPU tak sah!!!”
Heyyyy, we’re in total agreement here.
Pity him who turns him like what was your observation true terrified like a hungry tiger but he screwed in between and want to finish his games fast
Helen the Vampire…….don’t feel so orgasmic la so soon…..wait till the hockey players show their mettle in the Hague…..their performances could wet your panties (if ever you wear one)….you are a vampire to the core…no doubts about that….why pick on KJ…as a sports minister you expect him to stay at home and make mooncakes ???? Go fight Regina la…why pick on KJ….How low can you go ??????
Tsk, tsk, tsk.
You’re not doing your boss any favours, you know, with a comment that is so lacking in finesse.
Hey Vampire……what finesse are you blabbering about…oh you mean your witchcraft finesse ?????
I don’t work for no one….unlike you….. go la write issues that enlightens the rakyaat….for a start why don’t you go visit the Sukma venues in Perlis and see for yourself how our hard earned money has been wasted on the infra…..incomplete venues…shoddy workmanship….substandard materials….the list goes on…..instead of picking on issues that makes you get wet momentarily……It appears that sleep would not come for you…if you dont write about Hannah,Hannah’s husband, Hannah’s kids, Regina, KJ, LGE and maybe Dyana…..but do remember this….they are all better off than you in many ways…..hope this comment sees the light of the day.
re: “Hey Vampire……”
Ni contoh orang yang ketandusan adab.
re: “what finesse are you blabbering about…”
Orang ni sedang buat Show & Tell bagi kita memberi satu demonstrasi bagaimana untuk “blabbering”.
re: “oh you mean your witchcraft finesse ?????”
Woooo, sampai pakai LIMA! tanda soalan. No finesse lah. So anal retentive.
re: “I don’t work for no one….”
Mamat Mat Rempit.
re: “unlike you…..”
Of course I have an employer. That’s termed being gainfully employed.
re: “go la write issues that enlightens the rakyaat….”
When a person starts thinking his voice represents the Rakyat, then we all know what to expect from him. Delusions of grandeur.
re: “for a start why don’t you go visit the Sukma venues in Perlis and see for yourself how our hard earned money has been wasted on the infra…..incomplete venues…shoddy workmanship….substandard materials….the list goes on…..”
Ha ha ha, the Kementerian Belia dan Sukan connection? Not only are you unsubtle, you’re plain transparent.
re: “instead of picking on issues that makes you get wet momentarily……”
Go drool over Dy’s bikini photo lah. This is a fact-based, intellectual blog. You’re out of place.
re: “if you dont write about Hannah,Hannah’s husband, Hannah’s kids, Regina, KJ, LGE and maybe Dyana….. but do remember this….they are all better off than you in many ways”
They are all politicians. Yes, they’re way better off than me. My tongue don’t twist like that.
re: “…..hope this comment sees the light of the day”
Ask your boss to send some other operative of higher calibre lah. If you’re the best that your clique can offer, then the fortunes of Umno Youth is very dim. You’re aware what kind of names the Melayu totok blogosphere are calling your wing, right? You guys are really losing it, particularly your boss.
Tick tock tick tock.
Betoi tu Helen, Pemuda kampung sys under KJ gitu terbiar sekali. All activities berhenti.. Ooo Ini rupanya. Do we really need a full Minister there?
Dia pi sana on own expense or sponsored? Pi sorang aje atau bawa pengiring2 ikut sama? Woosh, just hope they don’t come back and submit claims for their trip.
Regina tlg tweet sikit on this travel expense. Pse make sure jgn guna suit rakyat..
Years back I watched the SUKMA games at Kuala Trengganu’s just completed stadium and I had wondered about the shoddy cementing and plastering of the structure. I was aghast to learn, a year later that the stadium roof had collapsed.
The Chinese players couldn’t do it alone without Malay players. Too bad lah Lim Kit Siang.
honestly, part of me wish Malaysia didn’t win last night. a win last night will almost make our country more divided which is clearly happen now.. what’s going to happen if Malaysia win last night? only God knows.
Malaysia kalah sebab KJ ada di sana. plastik betul, sama sebijik mcm idola dia LKS.
KJ immediately flew to New Delhi upon learning that the badminton squad made it to the finals.
You see Helen, the difference between Melayu and Cina.
The Melayus won’t blamed the Cinas ensemble when they lost the Thomas Cup. We know it is a collective effort.
The Cinas on the other hand, whenever they have the chance, would simply blame it on the incompetence of the stupid lazy Malays, be it the people at the top till the players on the ground ie. pasukan bola sepak negara, for their endless hate for UMNO.
Would Jstar writes about the lacking of Melayu or India in the Thomas Cup as a cause of our Badminton’s team defeat? Of course not!
Perhaps we lost because of this Melayu after all. Yes, Jstar?
‘Di sebalik kejayaan pasukan Jepun merangkul kejuaraan Piala Thomas semalam, ramai yang tidak mengetahui tentang salah seorang jurulatih pasukan negara matahari terbit itu adalah anak Malaysia.’

re: “their endless hate for Umno”
You sure or not? They love their neighbour, their neighbour’s wife and even their enemies.
They’re so full of love that their love overflows and spreads all around. How lah you can say these loving, peaceful, meek and mild people have an endless hate for Umno?
‘They’re so full of love that their love overflows and spreads all around. How lah you can say these loving, peaceful, meek and mild people’
You sure you ok ahh?
On serious note, perhaps without KJ ‘the man’, we would have fare better! I saw Liew Darren had stopped smiling altogether when he saw the budak hitam menyemak dalam kandang pemain.
He and his Cina kawan, what a nuisance, they should have stayed off the kandang pemain and let the players and the officials do their job.
re: “KJ ‘the man’”
Likes pink.
“Racists must be taught how to love” — Hannah Yeoh, Madame Speaker Selangor
“Christians will not retaliate” – Mdm Speaker.
They just attack and go on a rampage and call people ‘low class’.
