I hope Aliran doesn’t try anymore to pretend that it is “non partisan”. Such a claim would be about as believable as Dyana Sesumpah pretending her mother Yammy was never associated with Perkasa.

Keep it up Cik Syerleena and your party might just put you up somewhere as their next “M~A~L~A~Y” (must s.t.r.e.s.s. this DAP “gula-gula murahan” branding word) candidate window dressing.

Spot on Helen. I really despise hypocrite Malays like Dyana and Syerleena. If the DAP Chinese say Ridhuan Tee and Alifah Ting lebih Melayu daripada orang Melayu, I would say Dyana and Syerleena are more Chinese than the Chinese! And I would not be surprised if they would also adopt the religion of their masters

Syerleeena is actually a member of Aliran and that’s why she gets to write in their magazine and website. She supposedly a part time post-graduate student as well as the “director” of a water sports company and lives in Batu Feringghi. And you know BF is the abode of the Super Rich (house prices starts well above Rm 1 million).
That she has the grandiose title of “the director of political education” is an indication that this is a made up position especially for her since this is not an elected position. The title of director is just to massage her ego.
I guess she’s one of those “liberal” (see under “opportunistic” in the dictionary) Malays that DAP is trying to recruit for the next GE. Probably her father was/is an UMNO member and she studied overseas under Bumi quota and now suddenly hit with the realization how “evil UMNO and its policies of Bumi special privileges”. However I don’t think she’ll be a candidate for DAP as I heard her “personal life” is “complicated” and some of her “activities” and “photos” might not look very wholesome to the Muslim community if these were made public. But doesn’t seem to stop her from trying.

‘Malay NGO to sue Cadbury over discovery of pig DNA in chocolates
A Malay group called Jaringan Melayu Malaysia (JMM) said it plans to sue Cadbury Confectionery Malaysia following reports that two of its products contained traces of pig DNA.
JMM president Azwanddin Hamzah accused Cadbury of misleading Muslims by producing products with porcine DNA. Cadbury’s biggest consumer, he said, are from Muslims and Malays.
“This is a malicious lie and has to be contained. Among the Muslims, this is a great insult… such products should not be produced at all,” he said at a press conference today.’

One fm my kampung, late father died leaving 8 kids, only d eldest doter working n youngest then ws 5yrs old.
Family tussled among d uncle (christian faith – only her father converted to Islam) insistg d doter is not in d position, still single then, to take care of all her siblings and took away one of her brother. She related to me in tears the messy family fights she had to go thru trying to keep him with the rest of the family.
He is now in his 30’s, a Christian but with Malay name n of cos b/cert as Malay Muslim. Features mirik lebih kurang macam yg tersebut2 diatas. He is an Architect.
When balik kampung he don’t mix at all with our community, very distant in his ways. Very anti UMNO n very unfriendly.
I am sure there are many similar cases, the exPadri yg dah bertaubat tu (Salleh/Joseph) pun mentioned some girls went about complete in kurungs/tudung to hide from families (macam mendiang Salasiah Sidek – parents only discovered when she died).
Those desperately pushing hard to erase their own race with Bangsa Malaysia, something is really fishy about them..

I used to have a Malay neighbour who has converted to Christianity. His wife is a Chinese and hari-hari she bought daging babi from a pork seller who came to our area on a motor-bike.
This Malay guy was very quiet and liked to keep to himself. One day we terserempak and suddenly he greeted “Assalamualaikum” and I said “Huh!”
