Presiden Isma “Muslim #1 paling pelampau”, kata rencana The Malaysian Insider

Wong Chun Wai, iaitu CEO The J-Star, pernah memaklumkan kepada khalayak umum bahawa dia mempunyai koleksi terbaik dan terbanyak sekali buku-buku tentang Islam (“My private library has one of the best collections of books on Islam, I dare to say“).

Meskipun Wong mempunyai koleksi terbaik dan paling banyak sekali buku-buku mengenai Islam, namun Ridhuan Tee tetap menganggap yang si Ah Wong ini “nampak sangat cetek pemikirannya”.

Ridhuan Tee

The J-Star sebenarnya bukan setakat “ultra kiasu” tetapi ultra hipokrit juga. The J-Star ialah akhbar No.2 paling pro-Kristian. Portal berita The Malaysian Insider jaguh No.1 ‘akhbar’ paling pro-Kristian.

The #1 most extreme negative Muslim in Malaysia”.

Penulisnya Robert Chaen dinyatakan sebagai “an international change expert and online pollster”.

  1. Perkasa is not a political party and neither is Suaram. They all claim to be NGO’s but we all know where their political inclination leans towards to.

Even worse.., the Malaysian Bar Council (just like the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Lembaga Jurukur Malaysia (LJT).., etc.) is a professional body, which apparently gets itself involved in local political issues as though it is a political organisation.

We all know the political inclination of the Malaysian Bar Council and where it leans towards to. Why can’t the Malaysian Bar Council just behave like the MMA, PAM, MIA, LJT, etc.., who are very professional and politically impartial. It is so unbecoming and unprofessional of a so-called professional body, in the likes of the Malaysian Bar Council.

Most of mainstream media (press, electronic or cyber) are not NGO’s but corporations or entities that have their political masters regardless of which political inclination they tend to lean towards to, who are thus free to express the political inclinations.

It is so silly of Robert Chaen to highlight the past involvement and subsequent rejection of Yammy Samat towards Perkasa when that NGO is not even a political party despite its political inclination.., or to smear Abdullah Zaik of ISMA whose cause is not politically motivated but rather for the universal Islamic cause as an NGO. How low-life can that Robert Chaen get..?

However, he is correct in quoting Dyana DAP who had said – “When did joining UiTM makes us UMNO members..?” Robert Chaen should have went on further by referring to PAS’ Vice-President (Salahudin Ayub) who had once studied at TAR College (an MCA initiated college) but that did stop Salahudin from joining PAS..!

Nonetheless, it is such a silly and foolish attempt by Robert Chaen to denigrate UMNO by smearing Tun Dr. Mahathir who longer holds any political power in UMNO.., and by smearing UiTM which is merely an institution of higher learning entrusted to upgrade the knowledge & skills of Bumiputras.., who are still lagging behind compared to most of the non-Bumiputras in many fields. So.., why such jealousy, bitterness and hate-mongering coming from Robert Chaen..?

Apparently, those like Robert Chaen would love to see that the Malays and Bumiputras continue to lag behind in all aspect of the Malaysian society. However, he would praise those Malays who would rather behave counter-productive in the cause of enhancing the aspiration of the Malays and Bumiputras.

It is somewhat similar if Robert Chaen praises a Palestinian to champion for cause of those Zionist-Israelis.., but to the detriment of Palestinians. How disgusting..!!

    1. re: “So.., why such jealousy, bitterness and hate-mongering coming from Robert Chaen..?”

He is billed as “an international change expert and online pollster”.

    2. surecorrect,

re: Why can’t the Malaysian Bar Council just behave like the MMA, PAM, MIA, LJT, etc..

This is exactly the difference between the legal profession and the rest. Society has a reasonable expectation that lawyers will voice out any injustices. Lawyers are not merely there to dispense legal services. They are supposed to speak for the poor, oppressed, minorities and downtrodden.

We cannot expect lawyers to remain silent on issues like custodial death, persecution, abuse of legal process, unfair practises, oppression of minorities etc. Who else will do the above if not lawyers?

      1. ‘They are supposed to speak for the poor, oppressed, minorities and downtrodden.’

Absolutely, why not. But they don’t have to be anti BN, do they?

        1. re: But they don’t have to be anti BN, do they?

Good point. Let us be specific. Can you give an example and we shall bring forward our argument.

            1. Fine. Bar Council has been vocal on many issues. Let me propose an one example.

What about custodial death? People detained in custody are innocent until proven guilty. They were detained pending the outcome of the trial. Bar Council has been defending the rights of detainees and asking for fair treatment while under custody. How is this can be construed as ‘anti-BN’? Same as LGBT, free and fair election and the use of draconian laws like Sedition Act, ISA etc.

              1. ‘How is this can be construed as ‘anti-BN’?’

Anti BN is when they pick and choose issues based on political inclinations. Let’s be honest with ourselves shall we, its not always liberty they were fighting for.

                1. Little point to argue with a pro-Oppo. They are always right. The federal govt is always wrong. So what can we do? They even blame a natural disaster on UMNO-led govt.

                    1. I admit that I am pro-oppo. But I am willing to engage in a discussion and listen to counter arguments. Why dismiss my points by saying “Little point to argue with a pro-Oppo”? Unless you are unable to think of anything to respond?

              2. Apapun after what happened to Arw Doto Sosilawati n the other murdered men, saya banyak seram mau berurusan dgn lawyers owh!

Just hope this Dyana who claims to be a practising Lawyer and her firm ada semua lesen yg sepatutnya. Itu BAR council dulu did not protect innocent people like Arw Dato Sosilawati ++

                1. The murder of Dato Sosilawati is a criminal matter. Government lawyers vide the AG will prosecute. Not private prosecutors or lawyers. At most, the family of the victim may appoint private lawyers as observers.

      2. Bar council is irrelevant & out of date. Even lawyer like Zaid I has this to say

“Conveyancing fees are what we call “easy money” – clerks do all the work and lawyers collect their fees for signing on the right pages. The higher the value of the property, or the value of the bank loan, the higher the fee. The lawyers’ monopoly has no purpose whatsoever in this day and age. Moreover, given that the Bar Council has always fought for the political and human rights of the people, I believe it should extend this public spirit to conveyancing and other spheres, even if it means less “easy money” for lawyers.”

        http://www.thestar.com.my/Opinion/Columnists/All-kinds-of-everything/Profile/Articles/2014/05/09/End-the-conveyancing-monopoly/

        1. MCA.8481,

The Bar is a statutory body. The relevance is conferred by law. Their duties are also regulated. Up to the Parliament to amend existing laws. Until this happen, the work of conveyancing is exclusive to lawyers. Onus is on the Parliament. The so-called ‘monopoly’ is not illegal as of now. Why blame lawyers for something that is perfectly legal?

          1. Winning GE on first past the post and not by popular votes is also perfectly legal. Is Black 505 supported by lawyers perfectly legal?

            Aaah….pick and choose meh

            1. kiasu,

Yes. First past the post is perfectly legal. No doubt about that.

But is it a fair system where you have the difference between the smallest and largest constituency is about 9 times, i.e. Putrajaya and Kapar?

              1. ‘But is it a fair system where you have the difference between the smallest and largest constituency is about 9 times, i.e. Putrajaya and Kapar?’

Well nobody is complaining when they’ve won do they? Why was Anwar so quiet about this ‘imbalances’ when he was the Deputy Prime Minister?

                1. Putrajaya is an anomaly being the federal capital. Perhaps Toshiba can suggest another constituency we should look at?

          2. toshiba..,

If a lawyer charges of up (say) RM 2,500/= for each Sales & Purchase agreement for conveyancing services to the purchaser.., guess how much money that lawyer can make for merely one property development project scheme..?

Assuming that there are 1,000 units of houses to be built in one property development scheme and all the house units are sold.., thus that lawyer makes to the tune of a ‘cool’ RM2,500.000/= for that one-time ‘professional fees’ (via S&P Agreement services) without having even to go and practice in court. Good easy money isn’t it.., huh..!?

You call that ‘legal services’, when even a untrained clerk can do such a routine, standard & repetitive ‘clerical’ work..? Don’t tell us that many lawyers had trained for donkey years in law, to merely to do ‘practice’ in Sales & Purchase Agreement services..? How sickening..!

And.., what about those ‘conveyancing’ work as ‘Panel Lawyers’ for those banks and financial institutions..? Any Tom, Dick & Harry can do those so-called ‘legal’ work (in-house) with the mere pittance of cost. Nonetheless, all such ‘legal’ costs are always absorbed by the borrowers, isn’t it. How so convenient..!

Its not that difficult to ‘rob’ the people with the pen.., you know..! Lawyers are always at the forefront when that happens.., isn’t that so..?

Thus.., such self-serving ‘services’ makes such lawyers as no longer being noble professionals.

            1. re: “thus that lawyer makes to the tune of a ‘cool’ RM2,500.000/= for that one-time ‘professional fees’ (via S&P Agreement services) without having even to go and practice in court”

I wish more people would give credit to Waytha Moorthy that he deserves. He and his wife are qualified from Lincoln’s Inn and Gray’s Inn. They could be doing corporate law and making the big bucks.

Hindraf activism doesn’t pay. Uthaya ended up with 1-1/2 years ISA and now 2-and-1/2 years jail sentence in Kajang prison. Waytha spent 5 years in exile in London.

The Hindraf constituency is the poorest of the poor. They don’t have property, assets. Some don’t even have jobs. It’s not as if marginalized Indians are well off clients who can pay hefty legal fees.

The baseless and malicious accusations hurled by KJ against Waytha is so off mark. Khairy is the one who is the money grubber.

              1. The sufferings of Waytha is self-induced. If the Indian community has been marginalised in practically all areas since Merdeka under the same regime, what makes him think that by just signing a ‘non-binding’ MOU the sufferings of Indians can be lifted?

As for Khairy, for sure he is a rich man. LKS called him ‘Richest Unemployed’ for his shares in ECM Libra.

                http://www.malaysiakini.com/letters/46003

            2. surecorrect,

There are various practise areas for law. Convey being one of them. To say that untrained clerks can do the work is an insult. Who will trust untrained clerks to handle property and loan transactions that may have the value of few hundred thousands and millions? All professions require proper training. Even production worker in factories. At least for Convey work, we have scaled fees. Clients will know the estimated fees with certainty. Unlike litigation and corporate work that charges arbitrarily.

If there is indeed a housing scheme of 1000 units, the one that reaped the most benefits aren’t lawyers. The legal fees are one-off and relatively small compare to e.g. the developers’ profit, the banks interest income and government’s duties on various documents. Have you seen any law firm being listed and make hundreds of millions of profits in Msia?

              1. toshiba..,

I repeat.., an untrained clerk or even a dispatch boy can do those those REPETITIVE paper-work such as collating legal documents, in preparation & binding for thousands of Sales & Purchase Agreements.., especially these days when computerised word-processing programs makes it much, much easier in preparation of legal documents.

Who cares if loan transactions runs even into the billions of Ringgit..? It is only the legal implications that may require some legal advise. The rest of the work is all ‘clerical’. Understand..!?

And why are you so concern about the Developer’s profit.., i.e. other people’s money..!? The developer has to fork out for the land cost, huge liquid capital and enormous construction resources and would have to work and monitor the project for donkey years before seeing any profit..! Understand..!?

Whereas.., the lawyer (preparing the S&P Agreements) need only an office, some computers, printing & photocopy machines, loads of A-4 papers, a few clerical staffs.., and yet that lawyer stands to make millions of Ringgit (‘one-off’ – as you say) EVEN BEFORE the physical project has begun construction at site.., i.e. when the S&P Agreement are signed by prospective purchasers.

P.S.> Hey idiot (see what you made me do?).., Have you seen an architect or a surveying firm being listed in the Malaysian stock market..? Do you know what a professional practising ‘firm’ means.., huh..!?

Hint.., The operative word here is – Practice..! OK..!?

      3. Do you honestly think that Medical Doctors, Architects, Accountants, Engineers, Surveyors, etc.., do not have reasonable expectation and cannot voice out for any injustice..!?

Do you honestly think that Medical Doctors, Architects, Accountants, Engineers,Surveyors, etc.., cannot speak for the poor, oppressed, minorities & downtrodden..!?

Lawyers or other professionals need not remain silent but can voice-out on many political issues individually or collectively through many other platforms & organisation.

However, lawyers need to realise that the Bar Council is NOT a political organisation to be manipulated as a political platform..! Do you understand..!?

As an example.., how would the general public like it if the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) is used as a political platform to bash and criticise the government..? There would havoc in hospitals & private clinics.., wouldn’t there..!?

Thus, most members of the Bar Council are a bunch of idiots who are trained in law, but most of them tend behave lawlessly.., such as that idiot V. Ambiga.., i.e. the so-called ‘legal expert’ but who is actually a damn rogue playing in leading role in the so-called ‘Bersih’ (Kotor actually) 1.0, 2.0. 3.0, etc..!

Unlike any other professional bodies.., however the Bar Council is a total disgrace to its own profession. Period..!

        1. No doubt any professional bodies may make a stand on any issue.
When was the last time you hear the association of surveyors voiced out?

If Ambiga has acted lawlessly, why the government didn’t press charges? Isn’t the government acted lawlessly as well knowing that someone committed offences but didn’t take any action?

          1. toshiba..,

Of course the association of Surveyors voices out on issues pertaining to their members as well as their profession. That’s what we call being totally concern about their members as well as their profession. They voice out for their profession through the proper channels and authorities. However, unlike some of those Bar Council members, they do not become silly extroverts and unnecessary ‘busy-bodies’..!

The government has no time and waste resources entertaining and pressing charges against those idiot lawyers.., like (say) V.Ambiga. The Persatuan Penjaja members and some ex-Servicemen had already done that by ‘entertaining’ V.Ambiga.., right in front of her house.

BTW.., has V.Ambiga pressed legal charges against those so-called ‘unruly’ Persatuan Penjaja and those ex-Servicemen..?

  2. What an “objective unbiased Wong Chun Wai” as always. A true ‘journalist’. Always ‘impartial, analytical and detatched’. The ‘truth at any cost’. Good one Wong. Now you too can join the ranks of Ibrahim Ali and the others you bathe with your contumelious writings. But that’s you and the Star and Malaysian ‘journalism’ in general (excepting adek Helen of course).

It is probably a backhanded compliment to Ibrahim Ali when you call him racist. Dr. Mahathir was also called racist but he ‘raised’ a larger number of Chinese and Indian millionaires and billionaires than the Tengku did with what he had in his trousers which he could not keep in or control.

Not a bad thing maybe to have an Ibrahim Ali do some political spring cleaning of you morons.

    1. ‘Dr. Mahathir was also called racist but he ‘raised’ a larger number of Chinese and Indian millionaires and billionaires than the Tengku did’

I agree. Why can’t most people see this? Such ingrates!

      1. “Most people” who hate the status quo are like the “international change expert and online pollster” Robert Chaen (writer of the TMI article) and urm, they desire UBAH at all cost?

        1. Selamat Pagi Helen, dah sarapan ke belum? Ni dah tidur ke belum lagi ni?

Robert Chaen lives in the past. He still thinks that he can patronized and ridiculed the Malays for them to kow tow to him. I bet Unker Kit Siang is his best friend!

          1. re: “dah sarapan ke belum?”

Kejap nanti nak beli sebungkus nasi lemak.

Dunno whether Unker Kit is Robert Chaen’s best friend but Mr Chaen the “international change expert” has previously written that his company has many corporate as well overseas clients.

re: “Robert Chaen lives in the past.”

He wants to UBAH the future lah.

But what I find most interesting in his article is that he also appears to cast himself as an expert on Islam.

He writes: “we all know that Ibrahim is the most negative Muslim”, “Can anyone truly say that he is a true Muslim when he is…”, “If true Muslims do not chastise Ibrahim and Abdullah…”

Then he goes on to say: “Ibrahim and Abdullah are two very bad apples that have spoilt the whole bunch of good Muslims in Malaysia”, “…how extremist and un-Islamic Ibrahim”, “[Ibrahim Ali] an evil man” — this Mr Robert Chaen must be a Christian!

And he asks “Seriously, are they real Muslims?”

TMI is giving Christian columnists a platform to show off their expertise on Islam just Datuk Seri Wong whose “private library has one of the best collections of books on Islam”.

            null

            1. ‘But what I find most interesting in his article is that he also appears to cast himself as an expert on Islam.’

On the contrary, I find it very insulting!

‘TMI is giving Christian columnists a platform to show off their expertise on Islam’

It seems so. Perhaps the UiTM forum was right all along! Not that the evidence are lacking anyways.

This guy needs to change. He came home knowing the money is in Asia, but kept on behaving like the average mat salleh, using the white’s man burden alasan to rob us poor! He should have stayed at wherever he was.

‘A proud Malaysian talent who chose to return home after a successful business life overseas as an disillusioned young Malaysian who saw NO FUTURE in M’sia 20 years ago. He chose to give back to Malaysia with his change expertise.’

              http://robertchaen.com/2013/10/15/is-the-word-allah-exclusive-only-to-malaysian-muslims/

What a BS. Everybody knows the wealth is in Asia. Malaysia is a nice jumping pad being in the middle of it all. I bet he still does not care about the country. 20 years ago, we are not that kaya after all and now that we are, the guy is back for good (?) to give back? Give me a break, will you and go sell your sales pitch somewhere else!

              1. re: “On the contrary, I find it very insulting!”

I agree with you. These people – who brand other people as “evil” – are very grating. Like I said, it’s most likely Mr Robert who saw “no future” in Malaysia 20 years ago is a Christian and chances are, a Born Again.

                1. THIS GUY WHO HAD WRITTEN THIS PIECE ‘That’s when I realized how prejudiced and ignorant Hong Kongers are about Filipinos. Our experience comes from mainly interacting with Filipino maids and judging GROs from a distance in WanChai.’

AND THIS ‘This time I stayed 6 days in Marriott Manila (5-star), hang-out at Resorts World Manila, SM Mall of Asia, driven around by hotel limo, and with a Pro-Tour Guide. Obviously, I was mainly in the high end places in Manila, serviced by 5-star hoteliers like in other 5-star hotels in Hong Kong and around the world.’

HAD REPLIED THIS ‘“Uh oh! I’m an alien. I’m a legal alien. I’m a Chinaman in New York.” (Sting) “The article failed to attract nation-wide attention…”

My TMI article has: 3.1k likes and 6008 shares (as of 26 May 2014)

Let’s see how many likes and shares this article has…”

Well Robert, UiTM with Dyana Sofya around was not so bad after all, yes? The Cinas student are not speaking better English anyways.

    2. Re Dr. Mahathir was also called racist but he ‘raised’ a larger number of Chinese and Indian millionaires and billionaires than the Tengku did with what he had in his trousers which he could not keep in or control.

That really tells us a lot of how “capable” there people really are. Truth be told, they are not that smart. They are not that capable as apostles of capitalism.

They got lucky. Timing also helps.

The irony is that, these so called “self made men and women” needed the charity of a man so despised by the kool aid consumers to get to the top.

Is it any wonder why so many of them despised Tun Mahathir ? I tell you why. They got to the party way too late. All the deals have been made and there’s pretty much nothing left for them.

    3. Didn’t know TunkuAR was a ladies’ man. Phewit.

Everyone knows his horse racing and night caps though.

  3. Robert Chaen, we Muslims are not define by your ignorant views on us. We are never worried if you and your beer buddies hate us. We are not gonna budge down doing what we think is right, just to please a kafir likes you.

So don’t bother going around having difficulties trying to explain us to your foreign friends. We are not your pet animals are we?

    1. sikap x apa buat melayu di serang kiri kanan atas bawah, mereka pasif, x melawan demi menjaga hati org keliling. andai darah dah tinggi, pasti ini dah x waras, x makan ubat.. pasti tindakan melayu akan laen dari yg laen dan x ter jangka

  4. Why make such a big deal about her mum being a member of PERKASA – cos she LIED about it.

  5. Kata orang, satu jari telunjuk lurus menyalahkan orang lain manakala empat jari lagi menunjuk diri sendiri.

Funny that is what they also say about C. At least JC came first and called dibs, you guys got to the party way too late like how the Int Jew put it.

  6. Wong Chun Wai, my doter mempunyai koleksi terbaik dan terbanyak sekali buku-buku serta video2 Anime, I dare say. Muahahaha

Robert Chaen to me is a typical Cinapek parrot.. Dia kenal ke Ibrahim Ali or even Islam? Seems Dyana and mummy duk cerita habis-habisan ape mereka duk buat dalam kelambu to this parrot.

He is already feeling lost.. trying to explain to foreign friends (ni sekok lagi, apa bikin dalam kelambu sama bini semua kasi tau foreign friends), Cik Helen.. kan I selalu cakap they are lost and confused beings? Wonder who are his foreign friends, Australians, Americans, Chinese Mainland – mereka lagi berlambak masalah dalaman Negara.

Jgn marah ya Cik Helen, kat SJKC dulu adik2 saya memekak siang malam terjerit2 kena hafal kali2 1-9 (pi mental arithmatic aje kan senang), tiap hari kena celop dakwat asyik tiru tiru tiru books after books how to write the Bahasa ibonda characters.

Kalau I cakap prostitution is a normal way of life of Chinese people, am I light or long?

  7. Would Mr Robert Chean, his DAP idols LKS/LGE and the rabidly pro-Pakatan online media would take as kindly if any BN Malay candidate was seen and photographed doing the same thing?

They would have destroyed the candidate and LKS would be foaming at his mouth writing long winded, emotional and painful commentaries. And MK would be publishing daily letters and MI editorials after editorials how BN is becoming more and more right wig by introducing racists as lawmakers.

Yet here DAP’s shining superstar-wanna be and New Malay.. oops New Malay-sian caught lying not once but several times. Instead of castigating her, MI running editorials supporting her. Did you also notice how fast Robert came up with this supporting article, hours after her admission? And how fast MI screened and published it?

    1. ‘Did you also notice how fast Robert came up with this supporting article, hours after her admission? And how fast MI screened and published it?’

I’m surprised (ahem, ahem) at the speed of light, the commentators showering her (and her Perkasa-ed mom) with supports. Past is past konon!

      1. The DAP operatives practically camp in the TMI comments section and their propaganda usually come out as the first (few) comments to set the tone, give the cue and lead the herd.

        1. TMI actually manipulates the comments by allowing Dapsters to run riot while censoring the comments from others. I have tried so many times but none of my comments were approved.

          1. You’re not the first one to complain Calvin. Lots of pro-establishment readers say the same.

            1. I have never bothered to impart my 2 sen ‘over there’. I like it the way it is. It’s a great place for us, ‘over here’ to get some pictures on how it is ‘over there’. And I’m not worried. The best they could have produce is the likes of ‘agen ubah’, Robert Chaen.

My utmost concern is how this ‘agen ubah’ gets to train the unsuspecting Malaysians into the likes of him. That is something else altogether. Malaysian Companies should be worried too!

Robert Chaen, have some Yuna for change, will you? [YouTube]

              1. re: “I have never bothered to impart my 2 sen ‘over there’. I like it the way it is. It’s a great place for us, ‘over here’ to get some pictures on how it is ‘over there’.”

It may be so but the weightage is tremendously imbalanced when you compare one of the Top 3 popularly ranked (Net traffic) news portals with a solo individual blog. And you remember how Goliath has been using his brute strength against David.

          2. TMI = Top Malicious Instigators. But calling them instigators may not be appropriate. They are in fact insurgents. So i leave it to Helen to decide if TMI should be labelled as Top Malevolent Insurgents.

I have a funny feeling my “inventions” will make it to your ever expanding vocabulary of political speak. l o l

              1. But why you use polysyllabic words that are difficult to pronounce when they use a simple word like “evil” — which is easy to say and to repeat endlessly, like in the Madame Speaker’s tweet fest?

                1. Simple words equal simple minds la Helen. Why else do you think they all talk nonsense most of the time ? l o l !!!

                  1. Slogans are simple. Mind-numbing mantras for sheeple to chant are also simple. Simplicity works.

That’s how we get the herd mentality and lynch mobs. And that’s why Pakatan won the popular vote.

                    1. Re And that’s why Pakatan won the popular vote.

It is easy to become popular. You do outrageous things, say outrageous things. You get people’s attention. Anybody can do that. The question is, are you willing to do that ?

The other question is, how long can a person stay popular ? There is an expiry date you know.

But too bad for this country. By the time it all expires, we could be left to pick up the pieces while the crooks ride into the sunset with all the profits.

      2. Pasai banyak guna banyak grease tu pasai depa cepat kayuh.

Bayangkan UMNO/Perkasa 27 tahun sampai jadi barang reject bole beli kat pasar karat.

        1. Minta izin celah.

re: “guna banyak grease tu pasai depa cepat kayuh”

Najib Razak took 38 years in politics to reach his salary scale of RM22.8k (he became Pekan MP in 1976). Hannah Yeoh took only 6 years in politics to reach her salary scale of RM22.5k (she became Jerusubang Adun in 2008).

See, compare Umno with DAP … your parti Melayu kayuh tak cukup laju lah.

          1. It is okay if you take the slower path to build a house, but make sure you are building a house made of bricks. Most people build houses from straws. That’s why when the wind blows, and blows violently, the houses made from straws terus hilang entah ke mana.

Despite his missteps, I still respect Najib. He may have taken the slower path, but he made it. Along the way, he has seen off rivals such as Anwar who made his house from straws. remember 1998 ? Just like that. Terus hilang entah ke mana and until today, the man is still dreaming of becoming the PM, hence calling himself the PM in waiting.

            1. You’re comparing Brick with Straw.

              Hannah’s vis-a-vis Najib’s paycheque is a direct apple-to-apple comparison of Ringgit Malaysia.

The S’gor Speaker is collecting RM22,500 month while the PM is collecting RM22,800.

Madame Speaker is operating a speedier and much sneakier game. Politics is cutthroat competition and as we’ve seen, the RBA have outrun and outgunned Umno.

With BN taking one step forward and two steps back, the DAP will win the race to occupy Putrajaya-2018.

              1. re: “It is easy to become popular. You do outrageous things, say outrageous things. You get people’s attention. Anybody can do that. The question is, are you willing to do that?”

Say outrageous things — The weather is racist like Perkasa. :D

Get people’s attention — Look at my tudung, look at my tudung! Cantik or not?

Are you willing to do that? — I tote a Prada, I’m high class now.

re: “The other question is, how long can a person stay popular? There is an expiry date you know.”

How many terms do you think DAP will be holding the Jerusubag seat?

re: “But too bad for this country. By the time it all expires, we could be left to pick up the pieces while the crooks ride into the sunset with all the profits.”

Sail off to Tasmania and enjoy all the Gold. Can try selling the Gospel there too.

                1. Re How many terms do you think DAP will be holding the Jerusubag seat?

                  50 years and I m not kidding.

Re Sail off to Tasmania and enjoy all the Gold. Can try selling the Gospel there too

The white men and women will say ” ha ha ha !!! who gave you Christianity in the first place ?”

                2. ‘Sail off to Tasmania and enjoy all the Gold. Can try selling the Gospel there too.’

I bet HY still kept the slang too, just in case!

          2. FYI, a fresh biz grad makes anyway around 2k-2.5k with an annual increment of around 4%-10% tops for the top performers.

Even in the big 4 of auditing firms, it takes around 8-15 years to make GM, where the salary is circa 20k++ with another 4-5 years to be made partner with a salary of circa 25k++

I suppose we have a generation of Malaysians in school now growing up aspiring to be politicians. After all, it’s a lot easier than to embark in medicine or law etc etc

              1. And don’t forget that is only the legit one. Wait till they reach the other Pj and dip their fingers in the kitty and start dishing billion ringgit development projects and receive kickbacks like their current nemesis all in the name of religion, race and country.

Why do you think everyone’s going all out for Pj? For the betterment of you and me. Get real. Whoever wins, we still lose.

    2. Fyi, I’ve had a few pieces published in TMI under a pseudonym. You can try by emailing them to the editor.

When what I wrote was critical of the government, the article was published within 1-2 hours of being emailed. But none of those critical of PR was published.

That in itself tells you a lot.

      1. Actually when they first started they carried my letters critical of DAP but then suddenly they stopped publishing them completely.

I suspect it was due to pressure from LGE and the gang. The same goes for MKini. But the moment you write letters hentam-ing the govt, it’ll get published within hours.

        1. re: “I suspect it was due to pressure from LGE and the gang. The same goes for MKini.”

Very likely. I’ve been reliably informed that WCW is very chummy with LGE & Gang too.

  8. Sejak bila semua orang Melayu Islam melantik Abdullah Zaik atau pun Ibrahim Ali sebagai mewakili mereka Dan jurucakap?

Atau UMNO ke yang mewakili Islam Dan Melayu?

Atau PAS ke yang mewakili Islam?

Atau TMI, J Star, yang mewakili orang Keristian?

Atau DAP, MCA, Gerakan mewakili orang Cina atau Keristian?

Kau orang kat Semenanjung tak sedar Malaysia tu bukan sahaja Malaya tau tak? Ada Sabah Dan Sarawak, tau?

Undi Dan kerusi Parlimen Sabah Dan Sarawak yang menentukan siapa berkuasa kat Malaysia Dan jadi kerajaan tau tak?

Seharusnya yang menjadi penentu jawatan PM Dan Kabinet Dan kerajaan adalah ahli politik Sabah Dan Sarawak Dan bukannya NGO, blogger atau parti politik Semenanjung.

Lu gaduh lagilah Melayu, Cina, India, Muslims, Mamak, Keristian, Buddists, Taiosts, Confucius, Hindu, Sikh atau apa-apa kat Semenanjung sebab sudah lupa apa itu Malaysia Dan Malaysians.

Kat Sabah Dan Sarawak, lagi banyak kaum, kepercayaan Dan darah kacukan. Orang asing macam Filipino, Indonesia yang dah jadi warganegara Malaysia pun ramai.

Kalau parti Semenanjung tak dapat menyatukan rakyat kat Semenanjung, biarlah orang Sabah Dan Sarawak tunjuk kan tak lama lagi.

  9. Re Sejak bila semua orang Melayu Islam melantik Abdullah Zaik atau pun Ibrahim Ali sebagai mewakili mereka Dan jurucakap?

Berapa gred BN SPM awak ?

Kalau tak mewakili orang Kristian, kenapa lah staf majoritinya orang Kristian ? l o l !!!

Re Kau orang kat Semenanjung tak sedar Malaysia tu bukan sahaja Malaya tau tak?

Aduhai memang lah tahu.

    l o l !!! Awak “beraksi” macam pelakon pentas lah l o l !!!

Re Kat Sabah Dan Sarawak, lagi banyak kaum, kepercayaan Dan darah kacukan. Orang asing macam Filipino, Indonesia yang dah jadi warganegara Malaysia pun ramai.

Ya lah. Memang benar. Mereka tak lah macam Hannah Yeoh yang selalu war war No Malay, No Chinese, No Indian, Only Malaysian. Orang kat Sabah dan Sarawak tak lupa asal usul mereka. Mereka tak lupa budaya mereka. Tak lupa identiti mereka. l o l !!!

Re Kalau parti Semenanjung tak dapat menyatukan rakyat kat Semenanjung, biarlah orang Sabah Dan Sarawak tunjuk kan tak lama lagi.

    l o l !!! Awak ni dari mana ?

  10. All this race and racist issue are propagate by Lim Kit Siang and son.

It’s like a deadly contagious virus. Infecting Malaysian of all race unconsiously, waiting to explode. We need to isolate them to cure the sickness. Without them there will be a chance of race reconcilation.

    We need to act now!

    1. UMNO is outsourcing it to Perkasa and ISMA and a few other NGOs depending on who’s the loudest, it will take a while. So keep calm and a have a nasi lemak, and a teh tarik while you’re at it.

  11. see Malaysiakini comments.

I will quit Perkasa, says Dyana’s mum

anak, bangsa, malaysia I am surprise Dyana is unsure that her own mother is a member of Perkasa. If this is true than Dyana should not stand for this byelection under Dap’s ticket. Dap has done a mistake by putting her maybe out of desperation for malay candidate. Dyana could be a spy.

JoanH What does it matter if Dyana’s mother is a Perkasa member? Does anyone doubt Marina Mahathir’s sincerity in all her activist efforts, just becos she is the daughter of the Patron of Perkasa? And didnt BN field Zulkifli, the VP of Perkasa? Why aren’t people questioning Mah, cos Gerakan is sleeping with UMNO and Perkasa!! The important thing is that Dyana does not stand on the same platform as her mother.

      1. “Will” quit Perkasa (?)

Kan sebelum ni Yammy kata dia dah lama tinggalkan kumpulan tu, iaitu sebaik sahaja dia menyedari bahawa Perkasa menyimpang daripada perjuangan.

So the last time quit just olok-olok lah. This time only quitting for real?

What forked tongues the Mammy & Daughter have. But Dapster telan bulat-bulat.

And the Cina DAP are calling the Cina BN “bodoh”?

        1. ‘And the Cina DAP are calling the Cina BN “bodoh”?’

If they bought the lies Anwar the ‘lawyer’ tells them, they sure are a bunch of geniuses!

‘What forked tongues the Mammy & Daughter have.’

She’s probably taking cue, from the UBAH guru, Robert Chaen. Donna Summer was right all along about her!

          ‘But Dapster telan bulat-bulat.’

Birds of a feather flocks together!

      2. Dalam Perkasa sekadar mampu tempek muka dgn bedak sejuk aje bertahun2. Skrg boleh pi facial, dandan rambut dgn professional, message, sauna, pi gym semua bole… Tak payah bawa dompet!

  12. Insya Allah Ong says Dynana will win.
    http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/264000
“Why would the DAP candidate, Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud, be considered the underdog in a seat won by the DAP with more than 7,000 votes in the 13th general election? Is it merely a ploy to gain more sympathy votes for DAP in Saturday’s by-election?”\

  13. Wong Chun Hai try to mufti-fied himself by referring to his vast collection of Islamic books. From what he understand, the number of books he collected project his Islamic understanding to the level of the wahabi’s mufti. Reading his statement, we Muslim, might need doses of sedating jabs so we could finally stop laughing. hahahah…

Our kitab refers to a person with so many books on Islam but still doesn’t understand Islam well as a donkey..

The example of those who were entrusted with the Torah and then did not take it on is like that of a donkey who carries volumes [of books]. Wretched is the example of the people who deny the signs of Allah . And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (al Jumu’ah verse 5)

and the most hideous sound is the sound coming out of a donkey..

And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys.” (Luqman verse 19)

Wong Chun Hai can keep his books and tone down his view on Islam or else we Muslims might need more sedating jabs to ease the pain of non stop laughing.

donkey rupanya, patutla tak pandai-pandai, semoga diberi hidayah kepada WCW, tapi kalau dia ikhlas datanglah kut…Wallahualam

    2. Ingat Dunhill, ingat rokok itu haram!

Sudah difatwakan, tapi buat dono cam biasa.

  14. Every Christian knows the holiest places in Christendom are in Jerusalem. The holiest of all, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, was erected in 325, over the site where it is believed Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. Yet, few know that it is a Muslim who opens and closes the only door to this holiest of Christian sites.

Why ? Christian are divided. If any of them got the key, certainly “gaduh”. Can’t trust in jews, because they didn’t believe in Jesus a.s

What about Non-denominational Christian( AKA evangelist). Only interested to make money. Might even sullying or besmirching the place with all singing & dancing. lowyat.net/topic/3237983

    1. Why ? Christian are divided. If any of them got the key, certainly “gaduh”.

You mean like Shiah and Sunni and all the suicide bombings or better sounding beranimati in Iraq?

      1. ‘Yet, few know that it is a Muslim who opens and closes the only door to this holiest of Christian sites.’

The fact remains so. Are you still sleeping msleepyhead? Of course you are, who am I kidding?!
