The conflict between the Sunni and Shia Muslims is nothing new. For the record in Iran, Shia is the majority while the Sunni is the minority. In the past before the US and its allied invaded Iraq, the Sunni is the Majority while the Shia is the minority. After Saddam Hussein was toppled on the pretext of Weapon Of Mass Destruction (WMD), which never exist in the first place, the US and its allied installed the Shia leader to lead the government and thing has never been same since.
