    1. Jawatan-jawatan yang dipegang Saifuddin semuanya diberikan kepadanya oleh kerajaan persekutuan/Umno/Najib dan bukannya oleh Selangor-PulauPinang/DAP-PKR/GuanEng-Anwar.

Maka martabat beliau sebenarnya dinaikkan DS Najib. Kalau quisling pun, boleh dikira quisling Najib lah :D

  1. Somebody has to play the role of the garbage collector. In this case, the person playing the role is the rather unfortunate PM. If you’re being observant, the PM also collected other garbage, like the 6 recently appointed ministers and deputy ministers.

    1. And some people took offence at my Noah’s Ark metaphor.

The imagery of a garbage truck being driven around to collect is worse!

      1. Aiya! How can it be a metaphor when it is tantamount Blasphemy? The two i.e Najib and Prophet Noh are not even remotely similar.

              1. So is Najib.

He is the only element standing in the way of the Chinese getting a backlash.

            1. Come on Auntie Helen, the garbage man collects “disposables” into his truck, . . . while Nuh was collecting “valuables” into his ark, may God Most Just protect the good from the evil. But a good garbage collector can give away happiness beyond the call of duty!

          1. Helen,

Noh collect by the command of Allah swt. Najib collect by whose command?

            1. He’s following his conscience. That’s why he took in the MCA even tho’ the popular decision with the rest of Umno would have been to leave the party out.

Do you see the nilai-nilai murni teras perpaduan (below) in the 1Malaysia pyramid? “Hormat-menghormati”, “rendah hati”, “kesederhanaan” dan “berbudi bahasa”. That’s Najib describing himself.

Our Orang Kaya Indera Shahbandar DS Najib is projecting his personal values into 1Malaysia. Unfortunately, Malaysia c.2014 is not a conducive political climate for bangsawan gentlemen. The national landscape is blighted by the DAP politics of hate and hypocrisy.

Like Dapster Khairy, Saifuddin Abdullah is hypocritical but still no match for the real McCoys.

        1. Like one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter, what is blasphemy to one person is metaphor to another.

I say this because more than ever, we need more diversity in views lest we too degenerate into the same state the opposition is as we have seen, and continue to see, with regards to social media which is dominated by the opposition.

When everyone speaks the same language, think the same way, share the same view, we are really on the road to total ruin.

      2. I think Helen sees things from the Christian or Noah the movie perspective but from the Islamic perspective it’s extremely blasphemous. Prophet Noah, upon him be peace, and Najib are like white and black.

  2. saifuddin ni kaki putar alam. semua orang dibelitnya. dalam kem anwar pun dia membelit. mustaffa kamil ayub jadi mangsa. dah pernah jadi timbalan menteri pelajaran pun tak reti lagi proses pelantikan dan pelucutan dekan universiti awam.

kalau semata-mata kerana anak pahang najib lantik dia, elok najib turun pangkat jadi mb pahang, jaga negeri pahang aja. bagi orang lain jaga negara.

  3. Kita marah-marah kpd golongan Liberal ini.. tapi Kepala Liberal aka PM aka Najib sorok tangan dan playsafe. Sepatut dia ini dihumban keluar

    1. re: “Sepatut dia ini dihumban keluar”

Sepatut orang Cina sayang dan mesra Ah Jib Gor – yang siap bawa masuk panda lagi – namun mereka tak reti nak menilai.

Lepas DS Najib dihumban keluar, siapa ambil alih?

These 3, they are not PM material. Trust me. They don’t strike a chord with the younger generation.

My pick to take Najib’s place is the Uber Malay Liberal KJ.

          1. Siapa kata? I was merely stating the obvious. If you follow the man’s political career, you would know that he’s on his way to the premiership.

He has the money, the connection, and he’s smart enough to realize that the political landscape has changed. That’s why you don’t hear him champion Malay causes. He knows they can’t bring in the votes.

The Malay liberals, those who share the same worldview as him, they are not going to stand with the other 3 you mentioned. They will stand with KJ because there’s money, fortune to be made.

Politics is oiled by money. You have the gold, you make the rules, people follow you. That’s true everywhere whether its the US or Malaysia. Those who still think they can get by with the same old tired slogans of “pembangunan” and things like that, they are daydreaming.

Unfortunately, that’s what the old timers in Umno think. If you’re a punter, who would you bet your money on? KJ or Muhkriz? I m sure you know my answer. Its all about image and myth making now. That’s why crooks like consultants are making so much money.

            1. You’re being an agent provocateur. Like I said, jahat ‘)

The liberals will not win. For that I’m sad because there’s no place for non-Malays and non-Muslims in a Malaysia that wants to be a theocratic state.

All that the Chinese (this incl. the MCA) are doing today – the Dapster non-stop attacks, the evangelista whinging and putar belit – is weakening and undermining the position of genuine moderates like Najib.

              1. ‘For that I’m sad because there’s no place for non-Malays and non-Muslims in a Malaysia that wants to be a theocratic state.’

                This is Jahat too.

Have you need heard of Al Andalus or Kesultanan Melaka, Helen, both are theocratic states, so glorious it becomes the envy of others. Muslims and non-Muslims are well protected by the respective states.

                1. In what way was Al-Andalus and Malacca theocratic like Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran?

The population of Afghanistan and Iran is 99 percent Muslim while Pakistan has less than four percent non-Muslim population.

Where is there place for non-Muslims in these theocratic states? (Add Somalia, Islamic state, 99 percent Muslim population)

                  1. Helen, take a look at Brunei instead. Perhaps input from non-Muslims like you can make better our country, once we are heading that way soon, Insya Allah.

Some of the country you’ve pointed are not the best example around. The country is one way or another still being occupied or heavily influenced by western powers.

                    1. Brunei by choice refuses to easily give citizenship to Chinese, remember? They live there but they are not holders of Brunei passport.

Here’s a chart of Islamic states / Muslim countries of the world. Can you pick a better example from the list where it’s good for non-Muslims?

                    2. As for Saudi Arabia, I would argue along the line of Sheikh Imran Hossein on Wahhabis.

Perhaps we can be the first theocratic state contoh with Hudud in place.

                    3. I doubt these are theocratic states to begin with. Somalia tries but made stopped by American money and their proxy war.

I doubt Qatar or UAE are similar to the theocratic states as Al Andalus or Kesultanan Melayu Melaka to begin with.

Perhaps as far as exemplary theocratic states are concerned, we have none. Thus my trouble to quote Al Andalus and Kesultanan Melayu Melaka. It had been done before. It can be emulated again.

                    4. So you’re saying in the 21st century there are no exemplary theocratic states and nonetheless you want us to go back to the 15th century Malacca model or the 8th to 15th century Al-Andalus model.

So what is it Islamic about hukum kanun Malacca / its equivalent in early Muslim Spain that you want us to emulate in terms of majority-minority race relations?

                    5. As much as we don’t want the Americans nor Australians to meddle into our country affairs.

I’m sure what happens in Brunei are being carried out sovereign-ly as well, who are we to complain, right?

                    6. ‘You want Malaysia to practice the Wahhabi version of hudud?’

                      Quite the contrary.

                      Sheikh Imran Hosein writes:

‘The destruction of the Ottoman Empire, which was effected in the First World War, resulted in the emergence of the secular State of Turkey. The government was constituted of secularized westernized Turkish nationalists who worked hand-in-glove with an under-ground Jewish movement. They first reduced the Caliphate to an office that resembled that of the Pope, and then abolished it. But the secularization process in the world of Islam was sealed when the Hejaz, under the rule of Abdul Aziz ibn Saud, also joined Mustafa Kamal (Ataturk) in the rejection of the supremacy of Islam over the State. And so Arabia, the heartland of Islam, also embraced the secular model of a State. The birth of the State of Saudi Arabia coincided with the destruction of the Dar al-Islam that had been established by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).’

Saudi Arabia is a friend of America. And, the world would soon find out, so is Iran.

                    7. The passage you copypasted said, “And so Arabia, the heartland of Islam, also embraced the secular model of a State.”

Can you clarify this and also elaborate on what kind of criminal law the Wahhabis of Saudi Arabia practised?

                    8. ‘So you’re saying in the 21st century there are no exemplary theocratic states and nonetheless you want us to go back to the 15th century Malacca model or the 8th to 15th century Al-Andalus model.’

You made it sound so ancient. Islam is evergreen. Something written thousand of years ago had been recently discovered to be a scientifically proven fact.

My point is, the Muslims with theocratic states had achieved greatness in all field of human livings. Be it science or art or trade. And surely, should we truly follow what Allah SWT had put in place for us to follow, we would be able to emulate what others had done before.

Kesultanan Melayu Melaka had been called as Venice of the East, it was ruled by Malay Muslims and non-Muslims are free to live and prosper within its sphere. You can read the Portuguese accounts on Melaka to realise on how diverse the Kesultanan was.

The same can be said about Al Andalus. A safe haven for the Jews right until the Inquisition came calling.

‘In this multicultural society, many Jews and Christians held government positions. Moreover, the Golden Age of Jewish history is in fact known as the period of Muslim rule in Spain. Islam allowed the Jews to flourish in Spain, with the example of the renowned philosopher Moses Maimonides, (Musa ibn Maymun) who wrote Guide to the Perplexed. “Judaism probably welcomed the conquest of Spain by the Muslims in 711. With the Muslim conquest began a Golden Age of freedom and tolerance for Jews. They freely entered the fields of government, science, medicine, and literature.” 6 Spain was home to by far the largest and most brilliant Jewish community in Europe; elsewhere, the Jews were hounded and persecuted. Although non-Muslims paid more in taxes than the Muslims, it was by far less than any previous government had imposed upon them, especially Roderic’s. In addition, it obviously wasn’t much of a burden, however, since non-Muslims freely opted and longed to live under Muslim rule.

“Throughout the period of Islamic rule, Al-Andalus was a remarkable example and outstanding model of tolerance.” 7 We fail to remember that the tolerance the Muslims, in accordance to their faith, displayed towards the Jews and Christians enabled them all to live together in relative peace and harmony, an indication of the Greatness of Islam, without question. No where else has there been so long and so close of a relationship between the 3 Great faiths. All Jews and Christians were allowed to maintain their beliefs and live their lives as they desired as long as they respected their Muslim rulers. “Some Mozarabs took issue with the tolerance Muslim authorities displayed toward them and the Jews, a tolerance based on two Qur’anic verses: “No compulsion is there in religion” (2:256) and “If thy Lord had willed, whoever is in the earth would have believed, all of them, all together. Wouldst thou then constrain the people until they are believers?” (10:99)…” 8 As a result of the compassion Islam displayed towards the non-Muslims inhabitants, many of them embraced Islam. Many accepted Islam simply because Islam provided a superior, healthier way of life at a time when the social system was in rapid decay. 9 Unfortunately, religious tolerance was never a virtue in Christian Europe, as in the example of Charlemagne. 10 And so, the peace exhibited under Muslim rule did not continue after the last of the Muslim rulers was defeated in 1492.’

‘So what is it Islamic about hukum kanun Malacca / its equivalent in early Muslim Spain that you want us to emulate in terms of majority-minority race relations?’

Perhaps the Shariah experts can input more on this. The way I sees it, these two model are worth emulating. Whatever they were having, seems good enough, don’t you think?

                    9. re: ‘My point is, the Muslims with theocratic states had achieved greatness in all field of human livings.”

Congratulations. They should now help Somalia, Yemen, Sudan and the rest of the chaotic countries to get out of their failed state status.

re: “And surely, should we truly follow what Allah SWT had put in place for us to follow, we would be able to emulate what others had done before.”

And what exactly is it that you want Malaysia to emulate? Pls spell it out.

re: “You can read the Portuguese accounts on Melaka to realise on how diverse the Kesultanan was.”

Pls share with us the Portuguese accounts and we can discuss further thereafter.

The same can be said about Al Andalus. A safe haven for the Jews right until the Inquisition came calling.

re: “Judaism probably welcomed the conquest of Spain by the Muslims in 711.”

I’m willing to believe this. After all, it was the Christians who perpetrated the Holocaust that killed 6 million Jews and not the Muslims.

re: “With the Muslim conquest began a Golden Age of freedom and tolerance for Jews.”

You mean more freedom for the Jews under the Muslims compared to Christian rule? Fair point but still the freedom was relative in comparison between Muslim and Christian treatment. And like you’re quoting, the Muslims “tolerated” the Jews. It still doesn’t mean that the Jews were given equal citizenship.

re: “They freely entered the fields of government, science, medicine, and literature.”

Yahweh endowed his Chosen People with superbrain. So what can we say about the “most brilliant Jewish community in Europe”.

re: “Although non-Muslims paid more in taxes than the Muslims, it was by far less than any previous government had imposed upon them, especially Roderic’s”

                      So we’re still comparing relatively.

re: “Unfortunately, religious tolerance was never a virtue in Christian Europe, as in the example of Charlemagne”

So if our Article 3 made Christianity the religion of the Federation, do you think they’d similarly/oppositely have Article 11(4) prohibiting Islam from carrying out dakwah among the Christians?

re: “The way I sees it, these two model are worth emulating. Whatever they were having, seems good enough, don’t you think?”

In order for me to weigh whether whatever it is they were smoking in 15th century Malacca is worth us emulating, you really have to elaborate more on the model(s) so that we too can see what you see.

        1. re: “My pick to take Najib’s place is the Uber Malay Liberal KJ”

Why I say jahat: You may give the Tun a heart attack.

        2. Uber Malay Liberal KJ? You think he has got the appositeness and pertinence to get inside the temper of the Nons who want the supremacy of secularism?

  4. najib bapa liberal. buang najib. org melayu akan hancur bawah najib.

  5. sebelum tertubuhnya parti2 politik di malaya, orang2 melayu pun hidup & beranak pinak. orang melayu bukan harta peribadi najib.

  6. I sikit concur to yr views.

Pemilihan kaw, div etc UMNO members much prefer the pak anggok characters, and must never appear smarter than them. In my kampung many professionals shy away fm all these elections..

Ketua Wanita elected; computer-English illiterate, pakai microfon pon first time in her life, full-time housewife, tapi time functions very active memasak dan basuh pinggan aje.

What to do, peringkat kaw woman sekadar kena kdapur aje. On serious issues cari kawan2 luar kawasan to gebang2.

    1. What to do ah if like that?

Dapsters are so very pushy and with violent tendencies too (Regina Lee even wanted to shoot the “little buggers” pigeons that disturbed her house). Wanita Umno time functions very active memasak dan basuh pinggan.

Between the two, Ketua Pemuda Umno picks a Scissorati to be his press secretary.

      1. I have not seen many politicians that as arrogant as KL 10Q. A good leader is a person who command the respect of proponents and opponents.

I think KJ 10Q is good fit to join Dapsters.

      2. Probably no other Pemuda shld be smarter than he is attitude?

A woman – non Muslim plak tu easier for him la.. Everthing he does eyes no see, ears no hear and mouth no say wan? Masakan dalam sejuta Pemuda UMNO he can’t pick even one?

    2. Re. Pemilihan kaw, div etc UMNO members much prefer the pak anggok characters, and must never appear smarter than them.

They work on the basis of “muafakat membawa berkat”. Bukan setakat anguk-anguk saja, kalau tidak pi tenguk contoh CEC DAP dan Pemilihan PKR yang huru-hara. Ibni Ismail ( I think he is the son of Almarhum Sultan Islmail of Johor) once related during Pemilihan Agung UMNO, that is how the process took place, where they decide as group who they want to vote wrt to his daughter experience.

Re. In my kampung many professionals shy away fm all these elections..

Para professional di Kampung Puan Rina tak perlu UMNO. Sebab mereka dah professional dan urban. That’s the reality, tapi yang bercita-cita politik tetap akan balik kampung untuk cari dan tagih undi, contohnya MP Rembau. Kalau bertanding kat Lembah Pantai sah-sah bunkuns macam Raja Nong Chik. I really feel for Raja Nong Chik he worked 24-7 for Lembah Pantai even long before PRU13. It is the Chinese vote outstation votes that defeated him. Cuba tanya Orang Lembah Pantai sekarang ni ada tak nampak muka Nurul Izah?

Re. Ketua Wanita elected; computer-English illiterate, pakai microfon pon first time in her life, full-time housewife, tapi time functions very active memasak dan basuh pinggan aje.

      Puan Rina,

Janganlah pandang ORANG MACAM TAK ADA MATA.Undi-undi orang kampung perempuan yang dikatakan kolot dan bodoh itulah yang membawa UMNO ke Putra Jaya. For the record, the majority Malay voters are women and rural, not urban.

I have commented about this at length in Annie and this blog. Itulah yang Shahrizat lakukan bila kendhuri kendara di Kampung-Kampung, sama-sama menyinsing lengan memasak dan bergotong royong, That is their norm and culture, takkanlah pulak nak tayang bag Prada dan “Kiss-Kiss Hollywood” kat kawasan luar bandar.

  7. KJ 10 Q, beside being Abdullahs sil , what actually can he bring to the table, ada expeerience ke buisness ….tarak. or diplomacy or another BA graduate whos father could send overseas for eduacation with a silver spoon in his mouth.

He has a arrogant demenor, which shows in the way he walks, talks tak ada class langsung and no sense of articulation about him.

Anybody seen the picture of him a Jason Loo with the gun, orang macam in ke yang kita nak jadi Pm!!!
