Hannah nafi peluk Islam, ugut akan lapor polis

“Saya menganut agama Kristian dan TAK PERNAH memeluk Islam,” tegas Hannah Yeoh menafikan desas-desus yang mengkhabarkan ikon Jerusubang itu selepas 6 tahun berjinak-jinak mesra, akhirnya menerima cahaya hidayah juga.

Bayangkan.

  1. I’ve seen Chinese women in traditional Malay dressing and they all looked great but this fat ass is a disaster.

      1. Aahhh… got it. It’s not Farhanah… it aint’t Hasnah. It has to be Seranah Yeoh. TQ.

    1. yep, stocky fat ass with malicious mulut. where’s pwincess? luv her witty comments.

        1. Obviously yes. Perhaps ajane learned how to do that from the Pakatan leaders and supporters, who relentlessly dissing Rosmah Mansor, another of Allah’s creation by calling her all sorts of thing. But DAP is the best, they seemed obsessed with Rosmah. Someone should tell them that Rosmah is not that celebrity fat arse from Hong Kong.

    2. Survivor. She is having too much good food and [deleted]! Politics and power are powerful APHRODISIACS. This is well-recorded in history ! John Kennedy, Antony, Napoleon, Nehru, Soekarno, Mussolini, etc.

However, this fatty is still a twerp !

    1. GotYou,

      1. I used to meet this guy(Melayu/Muslim) from that area on occasions these last few years. We seemed to share the same thoughts about most things but somehow this year, he began to say/see things differently.

During the last meeting, I had poked him with some questions(political) and that’s when he mentioned about the Chinese. Plenty of praises for the ‘Malaysian Malaysia'(Christian/DAP) type of Chinese; the true… good ones among the lot… compared to the ‘old Chinese’, the Tua Pek Kong, Buddhist and so on. These are the the real badasses, troublemakers… bla bla bla he said.

Knowing him all these years, I could consider this as a ‘big change’ for him.

You see… things are going the other way around. HY is not seeking ‘hidayah’; actually HY and Co are doing the ‘tarbiyah’. And it looked like it’s working…

P/S: Sorry to say that I had to spare this guy, not because he’s an acquantaince of mine but because:
        a. he’s just got out of hospital – been warded for about a month after an attack(cardiac)
        b. he did not bring along his medication

      1. It is better not to have a saudari baru like that. Nila setitik rosak susu sebelangga.

Keep out Ong Kian Ming too.

    3. Presiden Jokowi mengucapkan ‘om swastiastu’ kepada Hindu Bali tak jadikan dia Hindu.

Obama ulang alik masuk masjid tak jadi Islam.

Queen Elizabeth 2 lawat masjid tak jadi Islam pun.

  2. Back in 1868, the American sense of body modesty –

4yrs old: skirt below the knees, 16 yrs. old: skirt down to ankles

[quote] Modesty is a mode of dress and deportment intended to avoid encouraging sexual attraction in others; actual standards vary widely. In this use, it can be considered inappropriate or immodest to reveal certain parts of the body. A modest woman would behave so as to avoid encouraging the sexual attention of men . . .

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modesty

        1. Certainly as bizarre as Hannah Yeoh’s knee-jerk response.

Like Irma says @ 2014/07/12 at 1:14 pm,

by threatening to lodge police reports against those who mistakenly thought she has converted to Islam, it’s as if Madame Speaker is implying that a non-Malay being considered a mualaf is a CRIME and insult in her eyes.

          1. Well, realistically speaking, how could the City Harvest pastor afford to say something polite like: “Maaf ya, aku tidak di berkati hidayat lagi lah”

  3. dear helen,

it’s great that ‘hasnah yeop’ is getting a taste of her own ‘poison’ by trying to portray a hypocrite dapster hannah being a ‘friendly’ evangelista on a ‘noble’ mission to muslims. happy to see how irritated she is when teased being a mualaf. padan muka hannah! itulah akibat nak mempermainkan perasaan org islam dgn adegan dan lakonan ke masjid dan
    bertudung litup.

also helen, i think u have brought up this matter before. in the evangeli’STAR’ paper today n the dapsters n liberals shud be ‘scared’, i think.

UUM prof says nation is facing local militants n xtremists foreigners. interesting as
u mentioned previously helen, the prof said there’s a possibility of msian militants targeting individuals believed to belittle or attack islam n societal tensions rising from debates on islamic issues.

well helen, we might not have another may 13, but the dapsters, evangelistas n provocateurs like ambiga should be wary n ‘afraid”, i suppose, for ‘stirring’ the emotions of islamic
militants who are eager to be ‘jihadists’. when that happens, it will be black and gloomy day for our beloved nation. when that happens, dr m’s words n warnings will be remembered n najib will have to take full responsibilty for being weak n indecisive in managing a multiracial nation like ours.

    1. How about Sesumpah Yeoh who likes to wear baju melayu. Is she a target for these militants?

I prefer Sesumpah Yeoh to wear black abaya (jubah hitam).

  4. Wow! Love-love-love-we-are-all-Malaysians Madam Speaker, despite all these years plastering photos of herself visiting mosques, wearing tudung, hanging out with Muslims, wants to lodge a police report against those thinking she’s converted to Islam.

A police report is lodged for an alleged criminal offence. So Hannah Yeoh, is being thought a Muslim a CRIME and insult in your eyes?

Years before I converted, when I hung out with my Malay girlfriends to buka puasa etc, people would assume I was also Malay. Never did I feel insulted or threatened. Just smile and say no.

By threatening to sue for being thought a Muslim, well, your true colours are showing, despite all your protestations of others being racists, bigots etc.

    Hypocrite!

  5. Hahaha.. Nakal la u Helen. 6 tahun keluar masuk masjid belum cukup lagi utk kaji pasal Islam. Felixia hanya beberapa bulan aja.

  6. Character assassination in politics is quite common. It’s a game forever played worldwide by politicians.

Among ordinary folks who aren’t politicians, it’s called PHD in Bahasa Melayu. In English, it’s called jealousy emotions.

Eat your hearts out, if you can’t stand the publicity, someone else esp if it is a politician getting glamorous in public.

Guess who is doing the good work for harmony among different religious groups and races in Malaysia?

    1. I see.

      (1) So you think Ustaz Hisham is “character assassinating” Hannah Yeoh when he sought clarification in his Facebook?

You think it reflects so badly on a non-Malay’s character if she embraces Islam, to the point that Hannah Yeoh immediate reacts as if – for her to be called a Muslim – is something the police should investigate as a criminal procedure?

      (2) When you say “jealousy emotions”, are you saying that people talking about this story are jealous that Hannah Yeoh is invited to all that free makan in the suraus and mosques?

      (3) Does your description of “a politician getting glamorous in public” refer a Christian who makes tudung a fashion accessory untuk ditayangkan di masjid dan surau.

      (4) re: “Guess who is doing the good work for harmony among different religious groups and races in Malaysia?”

You mean the getting-glamorous-politician who keeps baiting 3.5 million Umno members as racists, extremists and religious bigots.

      1. Who are you to judge others when your own soul is so full of PHD?

Isn’t it a politician’s job to go around to gain publicity and be with their constituents? If you’re not, of course, just stay at home and gigit jari lah when others are doing something besides getting the glamour. Otherwise, go try become a politician or leader and not some lame duck creating feelings of PHD among your flock of equally PHD followers.

Since when God, Tuhan, Allah, Tua Pek Kong, Guan Yin etc nominated you or Malaysians or UMNO or whoever to speak about the sanctity of any religion? Jangan perasaan ok, when sendiri is living a life full of sins, deceits and corruption.

Bashing others on your own perception of who is superior whether it is on race, religion, culture, customs, roots etc just goes to show deep down there is a feeling of inferiority within oneself when compared to the world outside.

Get real and try to live a good honest living life so that the whole world can see you excell based on your own competance and not bashing others to make you look good.

I call these people evil doers throughout the world. Such feelings can finally lead to a mental disorder called amok or irrational resentment and anger which is common among Malaysians with inferiority complex nowadays.

        1. re: “Who are you to judge others when your own soul is so full of PHD?”

Keep calm and eat a Cadbury. You will definitely burst a blood vessel with your Dapster BP rising so high.

re: “Isn’t it a politician’s job to go around to gain publicity and be with their constituents?”

          Okay, if you say so.

re: “If you’re not, of course, just stay at home and gigit jari lah when others are doing something besides getting the glamour.”

Okay, gottit. A DAP politician’s job to go around to gain publicity and get the glamour.

re: “Otherwise, go try become a politician or leader and not some lame duck creating feelings of PHD among your flock of equally PHD followers.”

Okay, I will advise my nephews and nieces to try become a DAP politician if they’re interested in going around to gain publicity and getting the glamour.

re: “Since when God, Tuhan, Allah, Tua Pek Kong, Guan Yin etc nominated you or Malaysians or UMNO or whoever to speak about the sanctity of any religion?”

          Allah berfirman, Surah Al-Mā’idah (5:57)

“O you who have believed, take not those who have taken your religion in ridicule and amusement among the ones who were given the Scripture before you nor the disbelievers as allies. And fear Allah, if you should [truly] be believers.”

Very simply then, Ustaz Hisham – whose Facebook posting had prompted Hannah Yeoh to threaten to make a police report – is merely trying to protect the sanctity of Islam regardless of whether Dandy feels that Allah has nominated him or not.

The concern of the ustaz, as enjoined by the Quran, is to protect Islam from ridicule and made the object of amusement by the Christians (“the ones who were given the Scripture before you”).

Is dressing up in tudung and traipsing into mosques ikut suka hati an amusing matter when there are religious protocols to be observed by any woman wishing to step into the masjid?

re: “Jangan perasaan ok, when sendiri is living a life full of sins, deceits and corruption.”

Wow. Dandy starts his comment by saying “Who are you [Helen Ang] to judge others” and then adding, “who nominated you [Helen Ang] to speak about the sanctity of any religion”.

But here Dandy is, acting as if he has been nominated by Yahweh to judge that Helen Ang has lived “a life of full of sins, deceits and corruption”.

Now just imagine if Dandy and his beloved evangelista leaders succeed in taking over Putrajaya. Shudder, shudder.

re: “Bashing others on your own perception of who is superior whether it is on race, religion, culture, customs, roots etc just goes to show deep down there is a feeling of inferiority within oneself when compared to the world outside.”

I compiled a photo album of Hannah Yeoh menggayakan fesyen tudungnya.

Since you believe that all are equal wrt race, religion, culture, customs and roots, why don’t you take up Mulan’s challenge and wear a kopiah tomorrow when you go to church.

Your wife/girlfriend can don the hijab so that the both of you will promote national unity and goodwill across colour and creed.

re: “Get real and try to live a good honest living life so that the whole world can see you excell based on your own competance and not bashing others to make you look good.”

Are you encouraging me to become a politician who makes a good honest living by going around to gain publicity and getting the glamour? And the politician who gains the most publicity and gets the most glamour is the one considered most competent and excelling in DAPland, ya?

re: “I call these people evil doers throughout the world.”

Aaaah, E-V-I-L. We already know that you’re an evangelista lah.

re: “Such feelings can finally lead to a mental disorder called amok or irrational resentment and anger which is common among Malaysians with inferiority complex nowadays.”

Okay, thank you for explaining to us why irrational, resentful and angry “Malaysians with inferiority complex” boleh mengamok.

        2. TIL a politician’s job is to go around and gain publicity. See that’s why I hang around here. I learn something new everyday.

    2. Dandy,

One really wishes that these are – as you put it – gestures towards harmony among different religions and races.

I think it might have been so had these gestures not been accompanied by the DAP demands for: (1) for “ALLAH” to be printed in their malay bibles (2) the return to Malaysia of the remains of the communist Chin Peng who once terrorized and killed many Malaysians from all walks of life. (3) for the persecution of ISMA, a moderate Islamic organization albeit with a very strong stance on certain national issues; this when the DAP itself are in cahoots with their political allies PAS which is an Islamist outfit and clearly leans towards wahhabi jihadi initiatives.

Now, why was Hannah terribly embarrassed to be called a Muslim?

Is it because their Pakatan alliance is a contradiction in terms of political ideology and stated principles? You can’t cover up all that hypocrisy with glamour ratings, you realize that right?

  7. Saya pakai tudong sebab mau you punya undi ma… booodoo punya melayu

  8. Kak Helen;

Apakah hina jika dianggap ingin memasuk Islam sampai hendak report polis?

    1. It’s a pity that HY just does not know what she is missing…

      [YouTube]

With talks of Sharia law worldwide and Muslims changing the face of Europe in ten years, Muslims are definitely not the one missing the boat.

      Islamic Finance anyone?

      [YouTube]

      1. Al Fajr 89:11-14

        Sahih International

[All of] whom oppressed within the lands And increased therein the corruption. So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment. Indeed, your Lord is in observation.

        [YouTube]

  9. Kenapa sampai nak buat report polis? Adakah hina sangat kalau masuk islam? Sekadar menafikan sudah cukup. Inilah contoh sikap rasis DAP***.

Tembam nak pi buat Polis repot? Yang dia gedik menggatal loklaq pi semejid tu pasai apa? I don’t understand why her need to be there?

Pasai dia bagi sumbangan more’ RM500? (time saya dulu Adun Cina tiap Ramadan hulur banyak tu) tu pasai ke tok ketayap ni semua jemput dia berbuka?

    1. Masyallah,

..tengok juadah depan dia tu. 11 ketul giant doughnuts, bubur lambok mangkuk besar sorang dan lauk bertimbun2!

      Amboi mak ooiii!

      1. LOL.

Have a look at the photo captioned ‘Okay, yang ni sedap sikit’ where Puan Speaker is wearing a yellow tudung.

What’s that in the rectangular tray beside the jug of air bandung?

        1. Bread n butter pudding?

Helen I tatau nak kata apa. You tak pegi bersahur dengan @imokman pagi ni? Dah baca niat puasa? Hehe

          1. Naah, not bread & butter pudding nor lasagna either. Kampong Lad is right — it’s nasi briyani. Can see the same yellow stuff in the plates in front of orang yang semua pakai kopiah tu.

About @imokman’s much publicized puasa and #sahur, I’m just wondering whether he still eats any pork and if all his other meals are halal, i.e. the chicken that he eats is slaughtered the halal way; the dishes that his wife cooks are prepared in a halal kitchen.

Also, whether Ong Kian Ming eats what he is served at the various DAP dinners which are hosted in non-halal restaurants.

            1. Also ask Ong Kian Ming whether they “yamseng” using air sirap or beer at the DAP dinners.

    1. Like I said, it just takes two clicks to change/amend a blog masthead photo.

Her contact lenses make her eyes look very scary.

  11. I dare the Christian politicians like HY and OKM to wear Songkok and hijab to church.

    1. Ms H. I just sat next to a group of young 20s Chinese, 16 of them having dinner after services. They were raucous and made a nuisance of themselves, impervious to the world around them.

They made sure all and sundry knew they belonged to a church. These are the young and hollow Chinese. I wonder how tough they are under trying circumstances.

      1. From the reigning Dowager springs forth all manner of evangelistic hollowness the sages of old would not have recognized as Chinese.

  12. Jangan main, I lepot polis you nanti !!

    U Ulang, I saman!!

    any different?

    Kedua-dua statement berbaur ugutan.

    1. Dia tahu keluarkan statement aje. Patut tanya kat dia, dah buat laporan polis ke belum? Jangan asyik ugut sana sini. Kena ambil tindakan. Saya tanya sekali lagi. Dia dah buat laporan polis ke belum?

  13. Hannah nafi peluk Islam so what? Memang betul la dia memang bukan orang Islam. Tak percaya tanyalah Hannah sendiri. Apa dia ingat senang ke nak jadi orang Islam? Orang peluk Islam atas sebab kesedaran kalau dia nak buat repot polis mmg dia akan membuang masa dia dan masa orang lain juga.

  14. Will the evangelist also hijack the use of tudung? They may bring to court for the right to wear tudung and be a muslimah camouflage.

  15. You rock! I salute you helen with standing ovation!
    Lagi satu you lupa..

“Cantik tak baju kurung I ?”
    Baju kurung barulah melayu.lol*

    First time comment.keep it up!

  16. Since when the tudung and songkok belongs to the Malays among Malaysians?

This tudung and songkok were originally worn by the nuns and Indonesians and the culture finally finds itself among the Malays in Malaysia later. The headgear worn by the Malays was never a songkok in the first place until very much later. Same goes for the tudung.

This misconception still persists till this day.

Same goes for religion. Before ISLAM came to SEA, most of the Malays were either animist, Hindus, Buddhists or athiests during the reign of the Majapahit, Sri Vijaya, Ganga Negara times.

The Chinese and Indians were the first to embrace ISLAM even before the Malays knew about religion.

ISLAM in Malaysia is heavily polluted by politics. The twists and turns in using religion as a tool of politics will finally thru God, Tuhan, Allah come to bear among the hypocrites who speaks like forked tongues.

Deep inside, just search your soul and ask “Isn’t it shameful to cast aspersions on others who celebrate diversity?”

    1. re: “Since when the tudung and songkok belongs to the Malays among Malaysians?”

      Then why DAP object?

To wear or not to wear songkok (The J-Star, 8 June 2008)

“The four DAP assemblymen in the state are in a limbo over the wearing of the songkok at the opening of the Johor state legislative assembly.

“The assemblymen from Bentayan, Mengkibol, Senai and Skudai, are in a dilemma as some members of the DAP central executive committee (CEC) don’t want them to wear the headgear …”

re: “This tudung and songkok were originally worn by the nuns and Indonesians and the culture finally finds itself among the Malays in Malaysia later.”

Oh really? Then it should be no problem to make it compulsory for Christian women to wear tudung if the headgear is part of a company or govt agency’s uniform.

re: “using religion as a tool of politics will finally thru God, Tuhan, Allah come to bear among the hypocrites who speaks like forked tongues”

I can agree 101% with you about the hypocrites who speak with forked tongues using religion as a tool of politics. You, though, will disagree with me on who the said hypocrites are.

re: “Isn’t it shameful to cast aspersions on others who celebrate diversity?”

Right. “No Malays, no Indians too and zero Chinese.” “Your Allah is my Allah too, they are one and the same.” So who did you say is celebrate diversity again?

      1. Re Since when the tudung and songkok belongs to the Malays among Malaysians?

Do you have the means to prove otherwise ? No ?

Re This tudung and songkok were originally worn by the nuns and Indonesians and the culture finally finds itself among the Malays in Malaysia later. The headgear worn by the Malays was never a songkok in the first place until very much later. Same goes for the tudung.

So what’s the problems here ? No problems at all. As for your assertion that the headgear worn by Malays was never a songkok, again I ask you, do you have the means to back up your assertion ? No ?

Re This misconception still persists till this day.

What misconception ? You’re the one who is here stirring up troubles.

Re Same goes for religion. Before ISLAM came to SEA, most of the Malays were either animist, Hindus, Buddhists or athiests during the reign of the Majapahit, Sri Vijaya, Ganga Negara times.

Malays never dispute these facts. In fact they readily admit them. It looks to me as if you’re the one who has problems with these facts.

Re The Chinese and Indians were the first to embrace ISLAM even before the Malays knew about religion.

So what are you trying to convey here ? The Malays never dispute the fact that the Chinese and Indians embrace Islam long before they knew about the religion.

Re SLAM in Malaysia is heavily polluted by politics. The twists and turns in using religion as a tool of politics will finally thru God, Tuhan, Allah come to bear among the hypocrites who speaks like forked tongues.

Speaking of which, who are the ones occupying mosques, wearing the headgear while saying that they are Christians with one going further by saying that if people continue to say that she has embraced Islam, she will file a report with the police ?

Re Deep inside, just search your soul and ask “Isn’t it shameful to cast aspersions on others who celebrate diversity?”

What diversity ? Where is the diversity when someone says “proudly” that “there are no Malays, no Indians and zero Chinese too?”

Come on now. There is no need to hide in the closet anymore. Just admit that you and your lot were never interested in diversity and all the blah blah stuff in the first place. You’re an anarchist and you’re here to start a fire.

      2. I do believe if the opposition rules, they will hire Dandy to rewrite the history of Malaysia and the Malays, particularly about the origination of the Malays. He seems to have quite a flair for history-based fiction.

    2. ‘This tudung and songkok were originally worn by the nuns and Indonesians and the culture finally finds itself among the Malays in Malaysia later.’

You are ‘dandy’ alright. But I didn’t know that you could this ‘classy’ as well?!

Care to educate the Malays in Malaysia, when is the date the Malays decided to go cuckoo over the songkok?

And when you mention originally worn by Indonesians, you mean, circa when aah? Because the Malays in the Malay Archipelagos had been around with their cultures intact, way before Indonesia was made a country, so again, when does the songkok being ORIGINALLY WORN BY THE INDONESIANS theory come into the picture? Penang Institute lately?

    3. ‘To wear or not to wear songkok’

penerima2 darjah kebesaran negeri & persekutuan yg membawa gelaran dato’, datuk, dato seri, tan sri siap berposing didepan singgahsana (dengan bini masing2 in kebaya or baju kurung) dressed in sampin & tengkolok, advertised in local dailies, full-page, half-page, quarter-page semuanya melayu.

i don’t have the photo of the penang dun speaker. he’s already a dato’. so, comes the spring festival, pakai la, in name of celebrating diversity. you are the believer aren’t you?

      1. Oh.

You’re right. The current Penang Speaker has been given a Datukship.

The previous Selangor Speaker has also been given a Datukship.

Does this mean that Hannah Yeoh will soon be given a Datukship too?

            1. Ms H. A well-fed and fat female DAP politician is no use to anybody, especially one who wants the Malays to think she is a Malay without conversion to Islam. She is a fake ! This applies to those who shave every morning as well. All fakes !

              1. Well ED, to sum up
                Hannah
Christian first than first, Malaysian First, Chinese second, Tamil spouse never, Muslim NEVER.

                Her husband
Christian first than first, Malaysian First, Tamil NEVER.

                Zairil
Malaysian first, Malay second, Chinese don’t know

                OKM
Christian first than first, Malaysian First, Chinese second, Muslim never.

    4. There you are Dandy. How come Ah So Helen can attack you so easily?

You need to go to college to learn strategies which can attack people particularly not Dap friendly people like Ah So Helen in return people like her cannot bite back.

By the way why DAP is so racist and full of hypocrites like our Farhanah Yeoh who want to make a police report?

    5. songkok are not from indonesia like you stated..songkok was originally introduce to the muslim population of south east asia by indian muslim and hadhrami (yemenite) trader in the 19ce..
so by calling it originally worns by indonesian can made a lot trouble in many level..because historically it’s even wrong and inaccurate..indonesia only exist in 1945..and songkok make their mark in mainstream south east asian muslim public way back in the late19ce..the native muslim of south east asia dont even consider their self as indonesian or malaysian back then..they’re not familiar with western style or idea of national identity which we now adopted..back then most of them will associate them self with their ethnicity such as malay, javanese etc.

songkok actually influence by the turkish fez which was the apart of the official attire of the ottoman empire bureaucrat and the indian muslim songkok also closely resemble the turkish fez..mostly red in color then adopted by malay muslim from both side of the malacca strait..in what is now apart of malaysia it make it way via the strait settlement like penang & malacca and also to singapore and while in what is now apart of indonesia via port city in east coast sumatera like palembang then it found their way further south to javan port city like cirebon..and it spread to various part of java and the other part of the archipelago.

during sultan abu bakar of johor reign he codified and standardize the public attire for the people in his domain..among them is the wearing of songkok..before that like many places in the peninsular..the malay men headgear a commonly tengkolok and tanjak.

    ‘Engkau hendak berlapar, LANTAK LAH!’

He,,he,,he, ‘ in between’ fajar dan iftar, kalau tidak makan, CURI CURI minum!

  18. the real gem of this post is Helen’s comment on each picture XDDD
if I had been drinking my computer screen will be drowned in water XDD

    1. Helen is very good at this. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy visiting her blog on a daily basis.

  19. Just wondering.. Masa Thaipusam kat Batu Caves apa pula tricks dia kat sana?

    Any pictures Cik Helen?

    1. RINA how could you suggest such a thing? You know her husband is a non functioning Tamil. She want to be a good functioning wife.
(PS. Hannah cannot stand the heat at Batu Caves. It will make her skin dark. She would need a lot of Fair and Lovely to remove all the black skin)

  20. Nasty-nasty people. How could they do this to our PM ‘s wife. She do not give those children a “poisoned apple”.

I really hate RBA for doing this, but it revealed what an evil hearts they have. Such a low class mentality!!

      1. Postscript:

The Malaysiakini photo of Rosmah above is taken at the same function where the Beanies portrayed Rosmah as giving the poisoned apple.

  21. Allah, Nabi Isa, Kristian & Masjid.

‘Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, “Be,” and he was’.
    (Family of Imran-59)

‘The truth is from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters’
    (Family of Imran-60)

‘Then whoever argues with you about it after [this] knowledge has come to you – say, “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then supplicate earnestly [together] and invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars [among us].” (Family of Imran-61)

    # Nabi meminta mereka membayar jizyah. (cukai dikenakan keatas non-musilms).

my simple question: isn’t it (sumpah mubahalah) one of the deeds of the prophet? if yes, where are the parties who claim to represent all submitters in the country, who claim to defend sanctity Islam & who claim to be the protector of Allah the begets not, nor begotten? mengapa tak buat?. hanya jihad (perang, perang & perang) saja sunnah nabi kot? atau berjanggut jambang atau berbini2?

  22. 10x lebih baik pmpuan blkang lorong klu dibandingkan dgn jalang gemok ni.. pelacur cuma mudaratkan customer dia je tapi pmpuan s****l ni bawa bala kpd satu ummah kat msia ni..

  23. Ms H. Hey! Hey! Latest from Malaysiakini – true DAP excoriates fake DAP. As I said before the new DAPs are all FAKES.

    1. Another 12% “Annoyed” and 8% “Sad”.

So altogether 60% Angry-Annoyed-Sad about Muslim converts.

That’s 3 out of every 5 J-Star readers who provided feedback who are upset about Muslim converts.

  24. Hi Helen,

I would like to draw the attention of your readers to this article on whether Malaysia is an Islamic State by Tamir Moustafa.

In brief, Tamir argues that Malaysia is not an Islamic state but a government claims an absolute monopoly on religious authority.

    [ Read more here: http://asiapacific.anu.edu.au/newmandala/2014/07/16/is-malaysia-an-islamic-state/ ]

I would be interested to hear how your readers interpret this article.

    Thanks very much Helen.

    1. If we judge by the Golden Standard as what was practice by the Earliest Muslim, we can argue that Malaysia IS NOT an Islamic state.

However, NOT an Islamic state does not mean Malaysia is a secular state.

The author also seems to only limit Sister in Islam and IRF for other NGO to work closely with. At this point, I see this as indirectly advocating US vs THEM syndrome.

      1. Thanks for the view mfma but I don’t think that is the argument Tamir makes.

His argument is that Islam is more flexible. Tamir notes that:

“…Although Malaysia ranks sixth out of 175 countries worldwide in the degree of state regulation of religion, this should not be understood as the implementation of an “Islamic” system of governance or the achievement of an “Islamic state.” No such ideal-type exists.[1] Instead, Malaysia provides a textbook example of how core principles in the Islamic legal tradition are subverted the moment that a government claims an absolute monopoly on religious authority. ..”

          1. Thanks Keris for this link.

I presume no one is able to respond to what Tamir Moustafa is arguing — that by monopolising religious authority, Malaysia ceases to be an Islamic state, because it undermines the true essence of an Islamic state.

                1. ‘Professor Ridhuan Tee is surely much more better.’

The guy is Malaysia-literate. Despite being a Chinese, he is Malay-literate, perhaps having Malays relative by marriage helps. Plus he is a practicing Muslim, highly regarded by average Muslims in Malaysia than a Tamir, an Irshad or even a Reza lump together!

        1. Its funny that when the West are trying hard to teach Muslims to rely on competent institutions decided to made a u-turn for institutionalized religion like Islam. To the West, the secular West they simply can’t accept institutionalized religion. Not that the have any to begin with.

Islam is a highly institutionalized religion. We have our own law and banking system. Some religion just don’t, so it is understandable that their believers simply had no choice but to subscribe to everything secular.

Muslims doesn’t have too and this is something the West can’t or simply do not want to understand. Perhaps Western arrogance! Of course, the liberals, the munafiks in Islam, would like to echo the west, their pay masters they simply need to parrot to 24/7.

    dah jelas sikapnya. melampau.

  26. crap liberal piece of s**t by westerners trying to shove their so called perfect way of worldview towards Asian, moslems especially as a whole. of course a government must have authority over religion to enable it to be called a theological nation.

the problem with western world is that they insist and believe that politic and government administration doesn’t go hand in hand with religion. which was the case since the medieval days whereby castle and church maintain a somewhat amicable or uneasy alliance since each institution enjoyed a certain degree of influence to the masses. and this was when Christianity was at its peak.

the same could not be told upon Islamic Dynasties. A caliphate is responsible on ruling his minions towards God path. in doing this, of course he needs authority to enforce variety of teachings in the Quran. and that authority is his and his right alone. because at the end of the day (I mean literally, the judgement day), he will be responsible for all the act, be it compassion or transgression arising from that authority.

so as it stand, Malaysia is still an Islamic state albeit in a lesser degree.

  27. Kak Helen, remember you asked me to look for the tudung UBAH bird months ago? Here the logo is back – courtesy of Alhamdulilah Ong

      1. Uncle Ed,

The evangelista machinery is like a leviathan.

Tun Abdul Hamid believes that the Malays are under threat like never before in their history. Not even the Malayan Union of 1946 was this threatening.

        http://tunabdulhamid.my/index.php/speech-papers-lectures/item/download/1163_063a1740c5c2ba03ab37fc708f569811

Like you said, it’s due to the “bad leadership” of the MCA in recent years. Standards have dropped.

Leadership of the DAP is badder than bad. The DAP evangelistas who will send the Chinese to hell in a handbasket.

Seven million ordinary Chinese will suffer because of the GREED of the 3G (Gold, self-Glory & Gospel) conniving carpetbagger conmen and the conwoman who have no breeding.

        1. Ms H. I have always thought a person with the name of Hannah is Jewish and not a Christian. Have the folks got themselves mixed up between Judaism and Christianity being from China ?
