Shocking seditious attack on Muhyiddin

Yesterday Free Malaysia Today published an editorial titled ‘A veiled threat’ which was a scathing attack on Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin who was alleged to have issued a veiled threat implying that “Malaysia may experience another bloodbath” (FMT‘s words).

The FMT editorial said a number of things that were inciting and seditious. The ‘FMT says’ article has since been taken down both from the news portal’s website and its Facebook.

“Only interested in advancing the interests of his own race”

Even though the “veiled threat” article has been withdrawn, there is as always the digital trail. The headline still shows up on a Google search.

And it was also aggregated by Malaysia Today which, as at this time of writing, maintains a portion of the article available for reading.

Nonetheless what you see in Malaysia Today is only a few paragraphs. The latter half of the FMT article is more incendiary but I won’t reproduce the contents here since they are clearly seditious.

The Deputy Prime Minister is only interested

Hatred fanned by pro-Christian media

What is most essential about the unending attacks on Muhyiddin and his “Malay first” credentials is the deep-seated resentment and accusation of racism flung by the media opinion leaders and shapers. Their own hatred against Umno, against the “Malay authorities” and the Malay-centric country as a whole can hardly be veiled anymore.

The pattern of this accusation – i.e. Malay Firstness equals racist – has been played out previously in the pro-opposition media albeit in the past, the attacks have been more subtle unlike FMT‘s full frontal yesterday.

You can, for example, see in the archived article below how the Bintang Lima stuck its poison-tipped scissors blades into Muhyiddin’s back. The J-Star headline ‘Muhyiddin: I’m no racist‘ is deliberate in order to put the DPM on the defensive.

Likewise, the evangeliSTAR carried another headline that said ‘Umno not racist: Najib‘.

Such headlines, like it or not, compel readers into wondering whether there could be any truth really in the allegation so much so that the president and deputy president of Umno have had to step forward to issue denials.

J-Star is evangeliSTAR

“Umno racist” is a trope that runs throughout the MCA-owned paper.

The J-Star is so pro-DAP that its editors tweeted 10 times the news of Hannah Yeoh’s appointment as Selangor Speaker in the short span of 24 hours. See the Twitter timeline screenshots HERE.

As we’re aware, Hannah’s “Umno racist! Umno racist!” screeches are legendary.

The paper’s evangelista flavour is pungent to the point that the paper gave Hannah Yeoh two big publicity write-ups over a single weekend on her participation in the lantern festival. Whereas Deputy Minister Chua Tee Yong who had officiated the 1Malaysia Mooncake and Lantern Festival in Petaling Jaya (J-Star‘s own backyard) was not even mentioned by the paper.

Chua’s GE13 campaign for the Labis Parliament seat was furthermore subtly sabotaged by the Scissorati’s backstabbing coverage which favoured his DAP challenger S. Ramakrishnan.

There you go – see below. The DAP senator, who lost in Labis to MCA’s Chua only by a whisker, once tweeted “Umno ada banyak racist sokongnya”. And the MCA newspaper pula banyak sokong Ramakrishnan.

RamaUmnoRasis

What kind of people are they?

Who reads FMT, The J-Star, The Malaysian Insider and Malaysiakini?

When it was reported that Wanita MCA vice chairman Lim Bee Kau had succumbed to cancer, 20 percent of J-Star readers were “HAPPY”, 20 percent “INSPIRED” and 20 percent “AMUSED” at the news. Only 40 percent were “SAD” to hear of her death. See screenshot of J-Star readers feedback HERE.

It is quite astounding how the Dapsters can manage to keep a straight face when they taunt pro-establishment supporters as “haters”.

I’m sure you’re all familiar by now with the kind of comments and attitude shown by the opposition supporters. But below is one slagging the Yang DiPertua of Isma’s Majlis Syura which takes the cake:

“Sharipudin Ab Kadir, please wipe the obvious traces of shit at both sides of your lips before you talk. There is only one race in this world, and that is the HUMAN RACE. The rest are RACISTS and you belong to the latter.”

MalaysiaKeturunan

Politics of Hate

Hatred is the DAP’s domain.

So is hypocrisy.

Muslimah masquerader Hannah Yeoh publicly prays “for the safety of the little boy who was kidnapped”, for (another missing boy’s) “safety and for God’s comfort & peace for his parents”, for the “safety and some peace at home” of Ambiga, “for the safety of ur entire household” (Nurul Izzah’s) but has no prayer at all for the safety of the Palestinians in Gaza.

Never forget that the Scissorati are the biggest cheerleader of the DAP evangelista politicians. In fact, The J-Star is crawling with evangelistas.

The latest attack on Muhyiddin comes from FMT but what was said and how it was said by the seditious editorial is only a more virulent strain of what we have already been exposed to in Malaysia’s English language media which is totally dominated by the opposition.

  1. ‘This effort culminated in the bringing together of European countries into what is now the biggest economic bloc in the world and with it, formidable political and economic clout.’

    http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/opinion/comment/2014/07/15/learn-from-the-history-of-europe/

Helen, can you please tell Rozhan Othman that Asians are by far superior than the Europeans. For once we don’t build our nation’s wealth by pillaging other nations.

Especially ASEAN, the remnants of Sri Vijaya empires. We literally build the Angkor Wat when the French are eating snails.

Kishore Mahbubani had said, the ASEAN despite lacking resources compared to the EU but is far superior than the former when it comes to diplomatic term. ASEAN is the Diplomatic Superpower, whereas EU is the Diplomatic Minipower.

Rozhan Othman is a typical case of minority complex on steroid!

    1. islam1st,

The point, as I’ve reiterated in my article above, is that the opposition have got a stranglehold on the English language media.

Rozhan Othman and people who share his opinions are given a wide and prominent platform in Malaysia’s English media.

Writers who are pro-establishment are not provided any space at all, and if they are, they are hounded and slandered by the lynch mob (readership) so much so that any sane and rational person would think thrice before contributing his writing to the English media in our country.

Reader comments that support the opposition views are like a tsunami in the English media, including on Yahoo!, MSN and Google aggregated articles.

Reader comments that support the gomen are eliminated by the portal moderators.

As I’m beginning to be tired of saying, BN cannot even rein in the MCA-owned paper much less other media which are not under the ownership of the BN component parties.

      1. ‘The point, as I’ve reiterated in my article above, is that the opposition have got a stranglehold on the English language media.’

I agree. But I have seen much worse. Few years ago nobody questions what being said in the local english media. Now its not the case anymore. Perhaps more can, must be done.

‘Writers who are pro-establishment are not provided any space at all, and if they are, they are hounded and slandered by the lynch mob (readership) so much so that any sane and rational person would think thrice before contributing his writing to the English media in our country.

We already know that they don’t walk the talk and surely practiced double standard when it comes to ideas exchange. We just need, others, more and more of others, to realize that.

‘BN cannot even rein in the MCA-owned paper much less other media which are not under the ownership of the BN component parties.’

Thus Najib with his ridiculously oblivious attitude, simply must go.

    2. Where and when exactly did Kishore Mahbubani claim that “ASEAN is the Diplomatic Superpower”?

This is the same ASEAN that is so “lembek” in confronting China in it’s South China Sea escapades, the same ASEAN that has to rely on an “infidel” power like the US to keep the peace in the region?

Did Prof Kishore write anything about that?

      1. ‘Professor Kishore Mahbubani, dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, told my paper that the EU was a “diplomatic mini-power” compared to Asean.

He said: “The EU has handled its geopolitical borders very badly and its surrounding borders are troubled.”

The EU has failed to prevent warfare along its borders and Prof Mahbubani cited wars like last year’s Georgian war.

However, Asean has handled geopolitical relations well. In an East-West Dialogue journal article last September, he noted that “no two Asean states have gone to war with each other since Asean was created”.

Asean also peacefully engineered Vietnam’s entry into the association in 1995, despite internal tensions.

But Asean’s success goes further. Prof Mahbubani told my paper that Asean has contributed to peace in the wider region.

He said: “Whenever there are bilateral tensions between China and Japan, the only place they can meet and talk are on Asean platforms like Asean Plus Three and the East Asia Summit.”

In a 2007 essay in Global Asia, he said that leaders of China and Japan cannot meet bilaterally to fix problems due to “domestic political complications” and “long-standing distrust”.

Agreeing with him was Dr Pratap Bhanu Mehta, president of the New Delhi-based Centre for Policy Research.’

  2. Helen,

    I must share this:

In a way, it can kena my own batang hidung: “I just pretend that everybody’s Malay, and it’s all good” :D.

  3. So what if TPM is racist? He did say ” Malay first, Malaysian second”.

Just acknowledge it and move on.

I wonder why he never say “Moslem first, Malay second and Malaysian third?”

By right he is a disgrace to his Javanese race. Don’t you think so?

    1. I am a Muslim first. And I don’t give a damn if I am a disgraced to my Javanese blood.

      Allahuakbar!

    2. “I wonder why he never say “Moslem first, Malay second and Malaysian third?”

Hannah’s hubby should say Christian first, Tasmanians second, Malaysian RACE third, Tamil never.

Sama macam anak Hannah yang Shai Adora. Tamil NEVER NEVER NEVER.

  4. There have been some changes in the FMT with a new batch of writers and editors. I guess the ownership has changed too but this is not been made public.

The Malay Mail too is basically the print version of Malaysiakini with its writers having a field day bashing the govt and writing seditious articles about the govt.

And now they even have Dyana Sofya (remember her ?) as a guest writer. What in the world that she has to offer to Malaysians ?

BTW, DAP has just revealed the latest “awek cun” Rara as the new poster child for the Malaysian Malaysia.

  5. The Star paper is kindle to His Master Voice (cop piring hitam lama) if they did so as macam jurus air di daun keladi. They care and akin to their readers who China hood….lum , not daunting during those days of closely acquaint off late YTM TAR in his weekly column ‘As I See It’

  6. Dear Aunty Helen,

They use words like “regime” to describe UMNO and BN but yet they are free to create crazy, seditious stories to attack UMNO, PM and DPM. They also did the same to the judges, police chief and others whenever they could not get things their way.

But only when somebody say she has converted to Islam, Hannah Yeoh want to make a police report. Siapa regime, UMNO or them?

    1. Lets make this “hannah yeoh will soon be farhannah yeoh after she dapat hidayah” gone viral n top on google search hehehe.

      1. orait, let’s all pray to GOD for that. never hate your enemies, instead love them.

        1. Yes, good idea for campaign.

Doakan agar Farhanah Yeoh dikurniakan hidayah. Start a hashtag.

  7. Tanah Air yang indah permai dan bertuah ini tidak akan dapat maju kehadapan dan usaha kearah itu tetap akan jadi buntu as our efforts will be forever hampered by the greedy descendants of immigrants.

The Malays have been on this land for centuries, relax aje, hangpa kalut want to move mountains nak bawa gunung2 tu pi mana?

    Bila le mereka ni semua nak ubah mindset mereka owh? Yang tak suka sangat dengan kaum majoriti kat sini, why the hell are you people still here? Follow your ancestors footsteps la, go to places you are most peaceful to live in;

    Kalau otak tu syiok nak jadi racist sangat, you fellas can choose to live in one of these countries, kat sana pi la buat perangai sesuka hati;

    1. re: “Yang tak suka sangat dengan kaum majoriti kat sini, why the hell are you people still here?”

Why? Because here a 35-year-old DAP Madame Speaker can earn the same salary as the Prime Minister who has been in politics 38 years (Najib first became Pekan MP in 1976).

Only here got the type of rabid, fanatical supporters who believe a politician’s job is to “gain publicity and get glamour”.

Only here the rabid, fanatical supporters clap and cheer their DAP politician when she positions herself on a high horse by labelling all her opponents “low class”.

Only here can the holy water-peddling politician rely on her rabid and fanatical supporters to harass and slander any individual who dares to criticize the DAP charmed circle.

Only here can DAP put up to contest a Parliament seat a 26-year-old greenhorn who has few political assets except the photogenic looks good for selfies, and one who tells a string of lies without any shame.

Only here will the rabid, fanatical supporters putar alam to cover up the lies told by their beloved, lying politicians.

Only here can the DAP manufacture its next political puppet through marketing the potential star as an “awek cun”.

Only here will the party propelled by hate fly their rocket to the moon.

      Two words: Tasmania reject

      1. “Two words: Tasmania reject”

No worry Helen. If she’s getting the pension as you said, she can still spend a few months (I don’t know how long a normal visitor can stay in Oz) in Tasmania every year. Money buys one a “freedom”, you know.

        1. 1. Up to 1 year on a multiple entry visitors visa

          2. Interestingly, ex-DAP Norman Fernandez also graduated from Tasmania

          3. Does anyone know if she (Hannah) graduated from the Hobart or Launceston campus? There’s a difference….

          1. Does anyone know if she graduated at all? This is a Dapster question that the oppo supporters like to target at certain Umno politicians who are credited with degrees from foreign unis.

            1. huhu.. come now, I’m sure she would have, otherwise it wouldn’t have been publicised so much that she studied there.

Well, there does tend to be more incidences of BN politicians with dubious degrees.

Malaysian politics is framed as a fight to the death, right? So any ammunition is fair game..

In this matter, BN really should have a review of the qualifications of their reps. It’s a credibility issue for the country.

I know they recently announced that the threshold level to stand for elections is a diploma but in this day and age, it’s not good enough.

Adakah Najib cakap serupa bikin?!

  9. “The headline still shows up on a Google search.”

And there’s google cache; I just read the whole article from the cache…

  10. Muhyiddin fell for their bait on which comes first – the correct answer should have been: depends on what’s the issue.

If it is a religious matter; then of course he should respond as a Muslim first.

If it is a national matter, obviously he acts as a Malaysian.

Why should there be a fixed hierarchy? We are complex human beings who, I believe, can have multiple ‘gear shifts’ depending on the situation, no?

  12. Why nobody ask TPM “Malay first or Jawa first?”

Why nobody ask PM “Malay first or Bugis first?”

Why nobody ask Tum MM ” Mamak first or Malay first?”

Why nobody ask Helen Ang “Malay first or Cina first?”

Malay race is now a paper race based on Perlembagaan isn’t it? So the race will disappear if the Perlembagaan is changed? I think Malay race is the only race in the world not based on DNA but on a piece of paper.

What’s wrong being admitting oneself as from Bugis, Achenese, Temuans, Orang Ulu, Iban, Jawa, Minangkabau, Riau etc.

Is it because of the benefits accorded the Malays that some paper Malays are so steadfast and bent in protecting the Malay race so as to also enjoy a free ride?

Can any state constitution be changed next to also have bumiputera race? That may solve all the problems of the Semenanjung Malaya problems? Over in East Malaysia, they may have more non-Moslems Filipinos and Indonesians as the Bumiputeras of East Malaysia so as to balance back the original Christian Bumiputera population?

Malaysian is not a race. It’s only a nationality. so, there is no such thing as Bangsa Malaysia. Mamak is also not a race. It’s just some Indians converted their religion to Islam and automatically because of the Constitution, thus become a Malay paper race. Their DNA will remain Indians whether they like it or not.

Likewise, Chinese who are Moslems are called “Masuk Melayu” even though their DNA still retains their Chinese DNA. This is because the Constitution says so.

“Tak akan Melayu hilang di dunia” will happen if the Constitution is changed. This is because a race based on paper and not on DNA will change to another race or disappear altogether whoever so decided to change the Constitution oneday.

    1. ‘Mamak is also not a race. It’s just some Indians converted their religion to Islam and automatically because of the Constitution, thus become a Malay paper race. Their DNA will remain Indians whether they like it or not.’

      This is plain stupid!

Mamak in general is a creole of Malay and Indian, northern or southern. Just like a Baba, a Chitty and a Serani would be, but ever more so now, since they had kept on the tradition of mixed marriage with the Malays, when others had stopped. Some Mamaks may look predominantly Indian, Malay, Pakistan or Arab due to the mixes. In Penang, ever more so on Penang island, no one can claim that he/she is a pure Malay but always a Mamak, perhaps maybe in Balik Pulau one could, but then again some may argue otherwise too. Heck, the Malays just discuss this in passing, they are well aware that it is more complicated than anyone could ever imagine. Especially the non-Mamaks.

Guys, Mamaks are Malays alright. If you could fathom the idea of Zairil KJ is a Malay, why can’t the Mamaks be considered Malays, when most, quite literally had Malay blood running in them?!

The Malays, like the Melayu Kedah had a colourful history spanning thousand of years. But they are no less a Malay. What’s wrong with having it clearly spelled out in the Federal Constiitution? Just because others don’t do it does not mean that it should be done, is it? I say it was a smart move made by the forefathers, especially with the way the country is moving right now, denying everything that is Malays.

Dandy, stop being so anti Malay, will you?

      1. ‘Just because others don’t do it does not mean that it should be done, is it?’

        Should be read as:

Just because others don’t do it, it does not mean that it should NOT be done, is it?

        1. Spot on, islam1st. I am a Malay first and a Malaysian second and my religion is Islam. Eventhough I have Chinese blood running in my veins, I am a Melayu. Some of my nieces and nephews have Chinese and Indian as well as Mat Salleh blood but they are all proud to be called Melayu.

A person like Dandy thinks Mamaks as Indians who have converted to Islam but in actual fact, Mamaks are the offsprings of Indian and Melayu. The funny thing is a person like Dandy also tends to regard Tun Dr Mahathir as a Mamak but not Anwar Ibrahim who in reality has more Indian blood than Tun Dr Mahathir. Zairil aka Christopher Lim is a Melayu? I don’t think so!

          1. The Malays of all people accept the Mamaks with open arms. Its never an issue for us. We have seen kahwin campur since forever. My late Mak Long had anak angkat Cina. My Tok Su in Pantai Remis also had an anak angkat Cina. I had Cina mixed cousins, nieces and nephews. They are all Melayu alright. My sister in law in Ipoh is of Bengali mixed from Kampung Bengali in Taiping. No big deal! Although I’m sure that her son soon would definitely be barred by Cina Dapster for his Bangla features.

I’m perplexed at how the non-Malays simply can’t accept this and goes the extra length with their misinformed ‘Mamak theory’ and start attacking Tun M for his warna kulit and yet the non-Malays have the gut to label the Malays as racist thugs?

We are not practising the One drop rule, like the Americans are we?

‘generally, if a person had “one drop” of black blood, they were forbidden to pass as white.’

            http://abcnews.go.com/Health/halle-berry-cites-drop-rule-daughter-black-white/story?id=12869789

    2. Why owh why?

Why nobody ask why whales are mammals and not grouped under fishes?

Why nobody ask why cock and hens are birds but they cannot fly in the sky wan?

Why nobody ask the Pope why they do like that wan to innocent small boys?

        1. Why nobody ask the Pope why they do like that wan to innocent small boys?

Why nobody ask the Pope mengapa St Xaviers keluar begitu ramai DAPster macam Karpal dan anak2nya dan Wong JStar? Mengapa jasa Daim Z didiamkan?

Actually SRJC tak keluar ramai ketua DAPster. Sekolah macam itu keluar dengan ramai ketua2. SRJC cuma keluar pengikut sahaja.

          1. Actually those who studied in Australia and other Anglo countries become Dapsters. For the uninformed, the process goes like this.

It starts with the mission school and the national school. LGE was a product of the mission school, like his father. HY studied at a national school. Then they go to the Anglo countries for tertiary education. Australia is the favorite destination. After a few years they come back. They come back because they could not make it in the white man’s country.

In other words, orang macam ni adalah failure. Tapi orang Malaysia tak tahu cerita sebenar. They think orang tempatan yang balik Malaysia ni orang yang bijak pandai. Balik dari Ostalia !

As for the pengikut, the followers, apa yang kamu kata tu memang benar.

    3. “Why nobody ask Helen Ang “Malay first or Cina first?”

Same question to our kawan: Why nobody ask Shai Adora “Tamil never?”

    4. Okay la Dandy, good tht you asked all the whys in this world. Zairil and Malay? Wokay la stepson of my late grandpa’s bestfriend (I am sure Zairil tak kenal wan).

So he is now a DAP Malay politician?

“The government always portrayed them as bad people who are crazy for power.

“If they are crazy for power, they would have joined BN a long time ago, but they stuck on to their principles even as they lost in several elections,” said Shakir, who is a trained engineer, a former St Xavier’s Institution boy, who later graduated from the Malaysian Multimedia University in Cyberjaya…..

“There came a time when we found out that the man we admired for a long time, former premier Dr Mahathir Mahathir, is not who we think he is, as his former deputy (Anwar Ibrahim) continued to bring him down from prison,” he quipped.”

“The month of Ramadan is a month of piety (ketakwaan). Piety means being afraid of Allah’s wrath. “Do not invite the wrath of Allah just because one wants to avoid the wrath of man,” he added.”

    Wrath of man? Huh?
