Kononnya these two religion-fuelled parties – the Islamist PAS and the evangelist DAP – belong to the same pakatan.
Yet DAP – over their dead body! – do not want a representative from their partner party to helm the state.

At least Old Town is honest in the job advert. Better than most companies that appear to accept job applications from all races only to discriminate certain race behind the scene or during the filtering process. At least Indians need not waste their time and effort in applying jobs with Old Town.
I’ve seen job ads asking for ‘Malay only’ applicants but to be fair to the employers, certain jobs may require a particular language skill or to suit a particular clientele, e.g. Mak Andam untuk majlis perkahwinan or a bartender/croupier in Genting Highlands (Muslims need not apply).
In the case of Old Town though, it would not appear justified.
As I said, they are being honest albeit offensive. At least Indians need not waste their time and effort to apply. This will save the hassle of the HR from screening so many applications.
Imagine a company advertised with ‘Bumi are welcomed to apply’ so as to look fair and equitable. In fact, the company has no intention to hire Bumi at all. All Bumi applications are filtered out and put aside. The outcome is all the Bumi applicants fail to get the job and only Non-Bumi is hired. Why such hypocrisy?

Learn to read subtleties and nuances. It will make you a more rounded person.
I would not want to assume your subtleties and nuances. For my line of work, assumption is the usually the mother of all screw-ups. I prefer straight forward answers. I need not spend time to guess your subtleties. You need not wonder whether I understand your intended subtleties or not.

but still, ada statement yang keluar mengatakan PAS tidak mungkin berkerjasama dengan UMNO kerana UMNO itu musuh PAS!
statement ini keluar dari mulut Mat Sabu (PASMA) dan jugak TGNA (ulama).
ini bermakna PAS sendiri sudah membakar jambatan dengan UMNO dan PAS sendiri meludah anjuran silratulrahim dengan UMNO.

That’s okay. There will need to be a period of mental readjustment. You see, for a very long time, PAS people have thought that Umno adalah yang sejahat-jahatnya. But now they’re up close and personal with the Yahudi Yeohs … baru tahu!

Unlike UMNO, PAS can easily absolve any of its sin or all of its sins.
Imagine the video on UMNO setiausaha Agung (example only) in compromising position with a woman. Habis la. UMNO will be condemned to hell. Malays cant take it.
But the response on PAS Secretary General’s (claimed to be pelanduk dua serupa) compromising position is muted. It means that PAS can get away and Malays are willing to tolerate it as subtly PAS has been drumming that PAS is God’s envoy and questioning PAS is deemed to insulting Islam.
PAS in a mess as its hatred against UMNO is edging towards “melampaui batas’. It is called “kirafah”. PAS now is reaping what it sows. Hatred towards UMNO blinds PAS towards the disaster for kowtowing to DAP.
PAS knows it cant trust DAP or PKR. But it believes it can outmanouvre both parties. The opposite is the truth. PAS is used to bring Malay votes to DAP. But DAP never agrees to any of PAS objectives.
As long as Malays are willing to tolerate rubbish from PAS simply because PAS claims to Allah’s representative, they must be willing to absorb garbage or idiotic statements from PAS. No two way about it.
Only know PAS seems to realize “jahatnya DAP”.
