    1. Helen,

GST or no GST, DAP will continue to incite anger among rakyats . They have successfully making Chinese to submit to them. But even with all Chinese are kowtowing to them, it is still not enough to dethrone UMNO.

DAP needs the Malay majority to be with them. GST or no GST the protest will go . And these stupid malays who have no prospect in life due to being anti establishment or tendency to wage war against their own Naib Canselor in universities are too happy to join in.

It is fun. And “romantic” too to . They believe in revolution. They imagine themselves are against a cruel government just like Jose Rizal against cruel Spanish colonial.

      WHAT IS WITH GST?

Anybody dies because of price hike? Anybody reported died due to starvation?

No doubt there is weaknesses. No doubt Najib is seen “detached”. But there is no reason to be paranoid.

    2. Depa ni parasit, dah lama kenyang…. tapi x bayar tax. Curi letrik Tnb, curi air Syabas utk kilang2 haram….. Ada yg discharge sisa toxic dlm sungai. Now with GST, they. Cant do that anymore. Tu yg terpekik terlolong mcm org gila HAHAHAHA rasakan parasit.
Mark my word, even if PR take over tomoro, GST will stay. And the followers will happily redha, just like they redha with catuan air di selangor. Dasar parasit.

      GST helps reduce black economy

Those who oppose GST are shielding tax evaders and defaulters, says deputy finance minister.

JOHOR BARU: The Goods and Services Tax (GST) implementation on April 1 will help reduce the black economy rate to 20% from 30% at present, Deputy Finance Minister Ahmad Maslan said.

“This is one of the merits of the GST and I don’t understand why the opposition continues to advocate the Sales and Services Tax.

“This means they are protecting the black economy, shielding tax evaders and defaulters,” he told reporters after briefing police personnel on the GST, the 2015 Budget and current issues at the Johor Police Contingent Headquarters here today.

Ahmad said according to the World Bank, the black economy (untraceable, and hence untaxable, business dealings) amounted to 30% of the gross domestic product.

      1. I agree. Filing for GST will mean that the government will be aware of the income of the tax evaders, many of whom are the Chinese businesses. That’s why they closed off their businesses. But the shophouses remain theirs. The shophouses cannot be left empty forever. They will change to a new company using their children’s names and reopen again.

There are also many restaurants opened for money laundering purposes. Those chained restaurants, not all of them but some, especially those that have overseas branches, eg. England etc., are typical money laundering vehicles. One of the hallmarks is the ownership which is normally in the form of partnership amongst some strangers.

I’m not saying that GST can tackle black economies effectively, because the ones managing it is the notorious Kastam Diraja Malaysia (pagar yang tak boleh diharap untuk menjaga padi), but at least some Chinese businesses’ reaction is a telltale sign of their fear.

A society that cries about its talents migrating overseas must rid itself of black economy, otherwise the society will see standard six ah bengs getting rich in the expense of educated law abiding citizens. In the end, who will be on the streets of Kuala Lumpur able to appreciate Zhang Toi or Jimmy Choo?

Idiotic people know Zhang Toi or Jimmy Choo? Any discount ah? Just a shoe lah don’t know look like what?

Yet the ah beng DAP cries about talents leaving Malaysia.

      2. Are you saying that the Malaysian income tax authorities are incompetent or remiss in carrying out their duties?

If there is a “black economy” in Malaysia, it came into being and grew (allegedly) under a lack of enforcement of laws and policies. And who makes the laws and policies?

This is just a pitiful attempt to look for scapegoats.

Other countries have implemented GST. It’s not exactly rocket science. Singapore is an example.

  2. Why did DAP hijacked gst they are not controlling the gov most Malays are not in support of gst cause there are lack of enforcement promises are not being kept that prices gone down and the reverse psywar DAP though not getting good response of hudud they then as you and us know and even Menteri gst blame the traders for not cooperating with the gov and there again it might lead to an anti Chinese sentiment which is not good for the country.

  3. Cuma beberapa syarikat mampu tuntut semula SST (kenyataan kastam) Lain nya (beribu buah lagi) tiada bayang lagi – selepas pelaksanaan GST.

    Jadi, kajian kita :-

  4. Re: Jika LKY kena macam ini, agak nya apa tindakan beliau

Dia dah meninggal yang dia tinggal ISA

  5. Abang DAP iaitu kerajaan PAP di Singapura dah lama guna GST. Kenapa tk bantah? Kenapa tk nak hancurkan GST di sana? Malahan salah satu instrument pengukuhan ekonomi Singapura adalah penggunaan cukai GST. Dah 90% negara Asean pun menggunakan sistem cukai GST takda bantahan pun oleh rakyat mereka.

  6. Re :No doubt Najib is seen ‘detached’ there is no reason to be paranoid

Kan sudah gaharu cendana pulak yang tempoh hari 99 Ketua-Ketua Bahagian pun bebaju merah jugak saperti biji saga

  7. Collecting GST is just half the story. There has to be accountability from the Government on its spendings. It is not enough just the people has to tighten their belt while the Government continue their lavish ways.

  8. Saya seorang peniaga kecil. Pernah menghadiri ceramah pasal GST.

Kenapa mesti tunggu selepas sebulan cukat GSTdikuatkuasakan?

    1. Why do you think the price would be cheaper had your supplier claimed their input tax? Depending on the goods, some kind of tax had already been imposed on the stock prior to the implementation of GST. If your supplier claim their input tax, that would mean they get rebates for the money they had already paid for in the first place via the old tax system.

      1. I’d prefer the supplier claim their input tax thus the retail price of the stocks could be lowered before being charged GST. Don’t you think consumers will appreciate it?

        1. I know you are asking out of genuine concern.

The thing is GST is meant to burden consumers, not business entities. I know for a fact suppliers (my friend is one) can no longer claim back input tax for old stock. Initially yes, then it was amended.

  9. For those who accused shopkeepers/suppliers of not claiming the input tax on their old stock (bought before 1 April) they might want to check again with the relevant authorities. As far as I know, this directive has been amended.

GST only affects the end consumer, period.

  10. But giving private people to run government arm like pemandu, talentcorp seems to dry the coffer faster than an ordinary government servant.
