Dear Helen..I think it is a misconception that non muslims are physically unclean. It’s their faith that is considered unclean. .not believing Allah and Islam in the manner required by the religion. True, pork is najis mughollazoh according to Syafie Sect..but those consuming it are not najis..unless of course they carry bits of it into the mosques. However I agree with you that these evangelists are munafiqoon. They give you money but behind your back they plot to destroy you..PAS should have learned the lesson by now..

I suppose that Christians could claim that Christianity predates Islam. And Jews could claim that the Jewish faith predates Christianity. And Hindus could claim that Hinduism predates them all.

@the rithmatist: Kafir is an Arabic term used by Islam and refers to people who reject Allah or deny or hide the truth revealed by Him. Hindus, buddhist, jews, christians, pagans and idolators falls under this category. Why should the Almighty choose a favourite from this lot?
Actually the jews were Allah’s favourite before they cherry picked Moses’ commandments and become Judaism. After that the christians were Allah’s favourite before the First Council of Nicaea subverted the true teaching of Jesus of Nazareth. When the Al Quran is bestowed upon Our Prophet it is only natural that we considered ourselves as the favourite now..right? Olden isn’t always golden. But us muslim is of the accepting sort, especially malays, so if you want to be Allah’s favourite again just renounce your old religion and embrace Islam. Or you can stay unclean….and take it however you want.

I stand corrected. Christians were never the God’s favourite then. They are only the favourite of the First Council of Nicaea which is under the purview of a PAGAN Byzantine Emperor who only subscribed to the faith on his death bed. Quite a religion you got there. Well Raj, the feeling is mutual. Christians believe that Islam is a false religion and Muhammad is a false prophet as prophesied in the Gospels.

In fact, the two religions really have very little in common and teach very different doctrines. Christianity is clearly a fulfillment and perfection of Judaism, and Islam is a religion that is totally separate from the preceding two religions.
For a God (Allah) who claims in Islamic texts that his word can never be distorted or changed, he certainly has a bad track record, huh?
Answer me this. Why send a new religion if it wasn’t for the corruption of the preceding two. By the way, The New Testament which your religion rely upon as “Word Of God” is not even in the mother tounge of Jesus which is Aramaic. It is written in greek long after the original source and the language is no longer around. How can you put faith in writings that clearly what we can call “man made”.
Can the Pope as the representative of God on earth recite the testaments in its original language from memory? Or any christian of any creed or denomination do that?
We muslim have “hafiz” to make sure none of Allah’s word is distorted,change or corrupted. They can recite the Quran from one end to the other perfectly and their numbers is in millions. Could you claim the same for your holy books when you can’t even settled on which name to call your God?

I don’t acknowledge Islam as a legitimate religion so am not obligated to answer you anything, and I see absolutely zero prophecies on Muhammad in both the Old and new Testaments, whereas the Old Testament has countless prophecies of Christ’s coming.
Just to humour you though, your own prophet encouraged Jews and Christians circa 600 AD to study their own texts and judge Islam on that. So he must have thought that both the Jewish and Christian scriptures were still legitimate. I have taken his advise and see very few commonalities between what the Bible teaches and what the Qur’an does.
Your understanding of Christian history is also so skewed and false but is typical of what most Muslims say. Luckily most others will actually study the correct Church History and judge Christianity accordingly.

Let’s be honest about this. Religion to most people is a dead serious matter. Of course it is, you are talking about either going to eternal damnation in hell or eternal bliss in paradise. All religion will claim that their is the one and only truth. It is almost impossible for a believer to believe otherwise no matter what religion they belong to.
To me its hypocrisy on the part of the evangelistas who enter the mosque and it is also hypocrisy on the part of the people of the mosque who receive them. What’s the real intention of the evangelistas? To learn more about Islam and the Muslims? Or they have other hidden agendas? What about those mosque people who receive and entertain them? Do they not have intentions to sway these christians to become muslims? To me both are playing the same game, both are hypocrites.
