Saya dah cakap lama dah DAP anti-Islam, kata Nasharudin

Mufti Pahang: Orang DAP “terang-terang menentang Islam”

Rani Kulop dakwa jerebu hilang berkat laporan polisnya‘ (FMT, 28 Okt 2015)

  1. Helen,

Though I agree with Nasharuddin statement, I must say that he too has a part in making PAS an ally of DAP.

In interview after 2008, he proudly told that he(representing PAS) went on discussion with UMNO to form the Selangor state government while at the same time working quietly with PKR and DAP to form a government.

he said openly he did that to give impression to UMNO that PAS actually did not mind forming a government with UMNO. Hatred towards UMNO like almost all PAS members blinded him too of the danger sleeping with DAP.

The only difference between Nasharuddin and other PAS leaders is that he paid the price much earlier. that is all. Hadi on the other hand only realised the cruelty of DAP only this year.

I mean no disrespect to Nasharuddin. But what he said about DAP was not surprising. My father when he was alive already warned me the danger of DAP.

Back then I only listened but not really bothered. Over the years I begin to appreciate the advice.

Still i am happy PAS “dah sedar”. Better late than never.

    2. Business arak, judi, dan wanita (GRO , rumah urut, pelacur dsbnya) tenat jika hukum hudud di laksanakan. Penyumbang2 dana DAP kebanyakan dari towkay golongan tersebut.

    3. Qalam Qabut,

DAP has managed to convince the Chinese that any alliance with UMNO Is deemed as submitting to Malays. There is no denying that UMNO reigns supreme in BN. The reason is expected and not surprising actually. UMNO just manages to earn the lion share of Malay votes. and Malays happen to be the largest racial group in Malaysia.

As such DAP has drummed into Chinese mind it is more profitable to vote PR where DAP is the supremo.

As for hudud, in all sincerity I believe Malays are not totally blameless. many Malays behave as if they are not afraid of God’s punishment. So, this give bad image to non Muslims.

Hudud from my observation is just a tool for PAS for votes. Let s be real here. Have any one of us attended intellectual discussion with any PAS leaders on Hudud. They too are “vague” when it comes to Hudud.

    4. Apa yang nak dihairankan? DAP bukan orang Islam.

      1. Ketiadaan budaya ilmu yang bersepadu dalam tamadun hari ini telah mengakibatkan peluasan bencana “kehilangan adab”. Kebiadaban ini telah melahirkan banyak kerosakan dalam pemikiran dan akhlak manusia serta alam tabii.

        Dalam pemikiran dan akhlak:
        1) kejahilan atau kebebalan dan kemalasan intelektual dikaitkan (sebagai alasan) dengan pengkhususan ilmu;
        2) kedayusan moral disebut sebagai toleransi dan kesederhanaan;
        3) pembaziran dimaknakan dengan rekreasi atau mempertahankan kedudukan;
        4) korupsi akhlak dan ekonomi atau kedua-duanya sekali dimaafkan sebagai lumrah kehidupan moden;
        5) dan penjahanaman alam sekitar disebut sebagai harga tabii kemajuan.

      2. Dri nho,

        ‘…orang Islam menolak Hudud…”

Talk is cheap.

          Kesimpulan, Umno sememangnya menolak hudud.

          1. Since your pas hudud will affect every Malaysian across the various races, I don’t think it is fair for you to restrict this controversial subject amongst Malay speakers only. Please convince us that your hudud is vastly different from the hudud which ISIS has put into deadly effect. Please do peruse the report below. Didn’t the PAS chiefs condemn Dr. Mahathir as a non-Muslim?

            http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/isis-publishes-penal-code-listing-amputation-crucifixion-and-stoning-as-punishments-and-vows-to-9994878.html

            1. Chris

Haha commentator drinho is hardly the right person you should be addressing your ..er.. hudud concerns. He/she was merely making a point regarding non-Muslims rejecting hudud to be expected and even Muslims (UMNO) are not too zealous.

Why not pose your question to the hudud protagonists?

              Plenty around…

            2. http://WWW.lettertobaghdadi.com

Imam al-Haramayn, Al-Juwayni, (Al-Ghazali’s teacher) says in “Al-Burhan fi Usul Al-Fiqh”[Demonstrative Proofs in Principles of Jurisprudence]:

“Regarding the qualities of a mufti and the disciplines that he must master: … it is imperative that the mufti must be a scholar of language, for the Shari’ah is in Arabic. … it is imperative that he be a scholar of syntax and (semantics) parsing … it is imperative that he be a scholar of the Qur’an, for the Qur’an is the basis of all rulings … Knowledge of textual abrogation is indispensable; and the science of the fundamentals of jurisprudence (usul ) is the cornerstone of the whole subject … He should also know the various degrees of proofs and arguments … as well as their histories. [He should also know] the science of Hadith so that he can distinguish the authentic from the weak; and the acceptable from the apocryphal … [He should also know] jurisprudence.… *Moreover, having ‘legal intuition’ (fiqh al-nafs) is needed: it is the capital of anyone who derives legal rulings … scholars have summarized all this by saying that a mufti is “someone who independently knows all the texts and arguments for legal rulings”. “Texts” refers to mastering language, Qura’nic exegesis and Hadith; while “arguments” indicates mastering legal theory, analogical reasoning of the various kinds, as well as “legal intuition” (fiqh al-nafs).
              Al-Ghazali has said similar things in Al-Mustasfa (vol. 1, p.342), as did Al-Suyuti in Al-Itqan fi Ulum Al-Qur’an (vol. 4, p.213).
              _______
The PAS chiefs who authored their 1993 hudud bill have not demonstrated that that are of the intellectual calibre requisite for formulating such a major jurisprudential motion. Thus, despite the many challenges from several Islamic scholars of authority from various quarters, the PAS leadership have not been able to develop their original presumptions in their jurisprudential claims up to this day.

          2. Drinho,

Jadi apa yg awak mahu UMNO buat?

Talk is cheap. betul la. Sejak bila pAS nak kan Hudud ni. Kalau tengok perangai pemimpin PAS, ramai putar belit. Duku kata Hudud 0.00001% dari Islam. sekarang tyidak. Dulu kata haram undi bukan Mealyu. Kemudian dia sendiri menyembah DAP . akhir sekali kena terajang dengan DAP.

PAS menyerang dan menyerang. Tak berhenti henti menyerang saudara cseugama. Kemudian tanya kenapa ye susah Hudud nak dilaksanakan.

The ball is in BN/Umno’s court. Not PAS.

              1. drinho, mu duk gatal nak sangat kecek-kecek saje. Cuba mu keluarkan hujjah usul fikah sikit tentang hudud jenis diorang itu.

              2. “Apakah niat PAS ketika mereka memperkenalkan undang-undang hudud ini? Bukan soal Islam. Ia mengenai soal bagaimana hendak menang pilihan raya. Bagaimana anda hendak memenangi pilihan raya?

          3. drinho, mu ni dahaga hukum menghukum syiok retorik sendiri kah? Kalau mu ni terpelajar sangat mu cuba jawab diorang. Atawapun kalau tak faham kecek Inggeris pun mu cuba guna Arab.

      2. Membentuk individu dan masyarakat berdisiplin dan bertanggungjawab.
      3. Memupuk nilai kehidupan murni dan norma budaya luhur.
      4. Menjamin keadilan & kebaikan sejagat (al-a’dl wa al-ikhsan)
      5. Menyelamatkan manusia dari kesesatan melampaui batas ketamadunan.

  3. Anti-Islam?

How, then, does Pak Nasharudin categorise the US and the anti-immigrant movements in Europe, the UK and Australia – all of whom have made clear their opposition to creeping “Islamicisation”, the defacto introduction of Shari’a laws and the increasingly strident assertiveness of Muslim immigrant and refugee communities in these countries?

Or, closer to home, the attitude towards Islam and Muslims adopted by the governments of India, China and Russia?

Pak N is apparently fond of “demonising” convenient targets while ignoring more blatant deliberate anti-Islam and anti-Muslim campaigns elsewhere.

    Par for the course, apparently.

    1. re: “creeping Islamicisation

‘Creeping’, as in movement by stealth? You must be referring to the DAP evangelistas in their faux Muslim attire and their fake behaviour reciting Quran and quoting Hadith, and their laying ambush to the mosques and surau to stir empty pots for photo ops.

      1. No, I am referring to, among other things, ISIS’s use of social media to influence Malaysians to join their cause and wage jihad against infidels.

Are you attempting to tar the “DAP evangelistas” with the same brush?

It seems to me to be curiously one-track minded, what you are espousing. Maybe you have an agenda here.

Is the West more concerned about “creeping Islamicisation” or “creeping Christian evangelisation”? Or countries in Asia, for that matter?

        1. The evangelistas’ use of social media to influence Malaysians to join their cause and wage a crusade against Muslims?

          Let’s tick against the checklist.

Item 1: Use of social media. Yup, they’re the champs in this dept. The Fat Lady of Jerusubang has 120,000 Twitter followers.

Item 2: Influence Malaysians to join their cause. Yup, achieved 95 percent saturation already.

Item 3: Wage a crusade against Muslims. Yup. Why do you think we’re having religious tensions today when in the past we only had to deal with racial tensions.

          1. fellas like kineas loves to hype things like isis, jihadis, islamisation and anything regarding the word islam.

truth be told, our government have been more merciful and lenient to evangelistas than islamist activists like Jemaah islamiah, al maunah, arqam and now isis.

I would like to praise evangelistas though who appear more subtle and deceitful on their approach like masses brainwashing, playing the victim card and propaganda via various aid. they really learned from the past.

but Chinese government have also learned from the past. which is why crackdown is executed even though there is no trace of violence by the lamb of god fellas.

            1. re: “fellas like kineas loves to hype things like isis, jihadis, islamisation and anything regarding the word islam.”

True. The evangelistas are in our midst. Jerusubang is not even far away from where we live.

Kineas, on the other hand, chooses to talk about events happening in Syria. They’re not something that he himself is experiencing first hand unlike how we here subjected to the machinations of the sneaky bastards.

              1. Commentator Kineas bringing up events unfolding in Syria is apt. Crackdowns on religion, though Christianity is singled out to be highlighted on this blog, by the Chinese authorities are world events brought up to be discussed and compared in the Malaysian context.

We don’t live in China or Singapore either, but that has not deter certain comparisons to be made. So, what’s up with the proposed exclusion of Middleast into our discussion?

                1. Easy…. Helen is fond of pleading the Fifth when she’s backed into a corner or when her views have been shown up to be self-serving and shallow.

She emotes about “Jerusbang”, but neglects to mention if the hyper-vigilant SB and counter-terrorism authorities have tagged it as a “clear and present danger”.

All the public utterances don’t seem to show this.

                  1. Kineas is fond of building straw men when he’s found to have shifted the goalpost or when his views have been shown up to be Islamophobic.

He emotes about “ISIS”, but conveniently sidesteps that the evangelical churches, incl. Singapore’s City Harvest, are deemed a “clear and present danger” not because they’re considered terrorist outfits but because they pose a threat to public and societal order.

It took a full dozen years before even the super efficient S’pore authorities managed to send the City Harvest crooks to the slammer.

As for Malaysia’s hyper-vigilant SB, granted there have so far been no public utterances. M’sian authorities cut a lot of slack to Christian deviants compared to their Muslim counterparts, e.g. Ayah Pin’s Sky Kingdom commune that was demolished and the Al-Arqam sect that was squashed.

                    1. “Islamophobic”? Really? Show me the “straw men” that I have allegedly constructed to support an “Islamophobic agenda”.

It’s funny that you have mentioned “evangelical churches” in Singapore.

A report in the Singapore Straits Times, October 28, 2015: “Church builds $50m arts hub in Bukit Merah”. The church is the Faith Community Baptist Church. “Costing about $50 million, the nine-storey building will house facilities similar to those in major performance venues such as the Esplanade…. Called Gateway Theatre, it will be rented out to arts groups on weekdays. Church services will take place on weekends…. The new building…is largely funded by church members, who have contributed more than $29.5 million to the project so far. Work started in April last year… Gateway Theatre will bring the arts to the western part of Singapore and give performing groups the option of staging shows at an affordable mid-size space…”

The same report noted: “In 2012, New Creation Church’s business arm, Rock Productions, opened the $500 million Star Performing Arts Centre in Buona Vista, with fund contributions from members. It has a 5,000-seat auditorium, which is also a venue for hire”.

It seems to be that the “megachurches” are doing ok in Singapore. Of course, this might be unpalatable to Helen, seeing as how she’s been going on and on about the CHC case.

Which is why the editorial “Preserving faith in the rule of law” in the Singapore Straits Times today (October 30, 2015) should be read and digested.

                      To quote from the editorial:

“The guilty verdict in the City Harvest Church case shows that financial wrongdoing in a religious setting is no different from a secular one. This is how it should be if Singapore is to remain a country where the rule of law takes its impartial course….

“… All institutions of public trust need to abide by the laws of the land and by common standards of probity in the management of charitable funds. It is up to the public authorities to ensure that this is the case, particularly if religious followers are likely to put blind faith in leaders and are not inclined to scrutinise accounts, unlike people who have a financial stake in a secular organisation…

“Reassuringly, it is because of Singapore’s earned reputation for intolerance of corruption that the CHC verdict is being received with the equanimity extended to legal judgements in general. No serious observer would question the investigation and trial as was the response when Buddhist monk Shi Ming Yi was convicted several years ago of misappropriating funds and falsifying accounts, and when Catholic priest Joachim Kang was jailed for misappropriating over $5 million in church funds.

“Religious followers of all faiths can take heart from the fact that religion has a precious and protected place in the laws of Singapore. Religious leaders, in turn, must uphold standards of law at their end…..indeed, its (the state’s) basic responsibility to ensure that the same yardstick – of what’s right and wrong in the use of charitable funds – applies to all citizens equally, irrespective of their religious or political standing”.

            2. Hype or facts?

ISIS is hype? Wahhabism is hype? The Shi’a-Sunni divide is hype? Anti-Christian mob violence in Pakistan and Indonesia is hype?

Or facts, based on published reports?

    2. Nasha is being pragmatic. How can he go up against, as you say Europe, UK and Australia, if we are unable to curb these sentiments in our own country? So it is only right that he should make a firm stand here and now.

      1. Why can’t he “go up against” the countries you mentioned?

Doesn’t he have the power of his faith to sustain him and guide him?

Or is he being supremely pragmatic and realistic in not biting off more than he can chew?

Or is he targetting those who he thinks can be easily bullied or intimidated?

        1. ….but Chinese government have also learned from the past. which is why crackdown is executed even though there is no trace of violence by the lamb of god fellas….Read this and digest it before you proceed.

          1. Also applicable to Tibetan Buddhists and Muslim Uighurs?

Why don’t you ask the Dalai Lama and the World Uighur Congress about this?

What else do you need to digest before posting statements that can be easily rubbished?

            Before you proceed further…..hahaha.

        2. Dapsters are easily bullied? No, Dapsters are easily the bullies, let’s not kid ourselves.

  4. Haiya kineas, why must ustaz nasha be overambitious.he needs to clean up our own backyard first la!

moderation in msia means getting the evangelistas esp the likes of wong chun wai n hannah yeoh to stop their hypocrisy esp in the name of love n peace propaganda by their one bangsa hypocrisy n intrusion into mosques with their baju kurungs tudungs. To be fair, umno never disturbs the mosques unlike pas is brainwashing the minds of muslims with politics in their tszkirah, n mca n mic had the courtesy to be themselves without parading in baju melayus n tudungs

I miss my 1980s schooldays where we in sekolah kebangsaan identify ourselves as malay chinese indians babas portugeese so as to understand n appreciate our different cultures n religions better.now we are ‘forced’ to be bangsa msia with rasicm blossoming.

we are msians with various identities.we shud be proud n thats what
Makes msia unique n special.when opposition becomes strong, dap strengthens the racial card divide whilst pas zooms on religious propaganda.i really really miss the 1980s where moderation really existed..

  5. Btw helen, doesn’t it give you much pleasure thinking of wong chun wai working ‘closely’ with ustaz nasha as he did with saifuddin abdullah on moderation, with the likes of marina mahathir etc n promoting moderation via bracelets n placards in the jstar?hahaha…typical evangelistas style of propaganda…wcw must be cursing that his n hannah’s evangelism ‘hard’ work is going downhill.. great move by saifuddin abdullah, good riddance!
    Next….wong chun wai…!
