Not a very peaceful people at all, are they?

The warmonger — below

Hope the BN war room will finally realize the peace-loving nature (not!) of the opponents that they’re up against.

Also watch out for the stab in the back, see ‘Scissors salad & the super sneaky‘.

Wow, talk about trying to instigate hatred, and using a peaceful man to try to achieve that. This is a new low for you, Helen. Must be fun being you.

You are the low life with your putar-belit.

This story was reported by the CBC – Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

As for the church being peaceful, it has been the cause (direct and indirect) of hundreds of millions people killed throughout its long, bloody history and not to mention young boys raped.

It is significant that father Jorge Bergoglio had run into serious disagreements with his Jesuit superiors, on the ways and means of apostolic mission. That he chose to be “Pope Francis” hoping to be blessed by Holy God in the ways and means of humility and sacrifice to all peoples everywhere:

“. . . Francis had tried to forge a spirituality from an extreme asceticism matched by a reverence for the beauty of ecstatic experience. Alone among men, he had bridged the gap between the asocial life of an anchorite in the desert and the more inward dispensation of the monastic orders of his time. As far as he was concerned it was not good for a monk to quit the world altogether, nor was it of any value to society for men to gather in monasteries without sharing their spiritual largesse. He had founded his brotherhood as a lay brotherhood that lived in the community. In fact, it relied directly on the community to survive. Begging, as we know, was the only way for a brother to eat. Each friar depended on the good will and tacit support of everyone in the community. His spirituality was nourished directly by all those who revered his presence in their midst.

In this sense, the Franciscan brotherhood possessed far more popular appeal than the larger orders, which regarded themselves as bastions of spirituality rather than its nurturers. In his own lifetime Francis saw his order grow from the original twelve to numbers exceeding five thousand. Every member of his community was expected to interact with society in some way, yet at the same time maintain his distance. A fruitful tension emerged between a grass-roots spirituality that satisfied popular expectations, and the maintenance of the principle of strict ascetic practice and solitary retreat by the brothers themselves. They, in turn, became the conscience of society without incurring its disapprobation. The Franciscan emerged as a counterweight to the emerging materialism inspired by a new mercantile class. ”

        – from James Cowan’s “Francis, a Saint’s Way”

On the contrary, anyone who pretends the Church does not have a bloody history of violence is in deep denial. The case that young oppo supporters are delusional has long been settled.

re: “You need serious psychiatric help.”

Your childish retort only goes to show your level of non-argument and is typical of the evangelista.

Which Church are you referring to? The Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the Protestant Churches or the Evangelical Churches?

And which religion doesn’t have a past (and present) history of bloodshed and violence? Christianity? Islam? Hinduism? Buddhism? Shintoism?

Why are you focusing on the “Church” and soft pedalling issues concerning the more extreme interpretations of Islam, for instance?

Simply because that jives with your worldview or agenda?

That is simply being either ignorant or dishonest.

Since you are an exemplar of truth, it stands to reason that you are ignorant.

Meanwhile, the “Church” is still out there. Deal with it.

I bet even your most loyal followers will be scratching their heads over just what the Pope said that was so antagonising or upsetting, that demanded a new thread to be started by loony Aunty Helen.

In fact, all the comments on that Canadian page are endorsing what he said. It’s only due to your intense hatred of all things Christian, that you somehow saw something negative in them.

One thing is clear though and that’s your disingenuity. When some of us called you out for being anti Christian, you quickly and vehemently pointed out that you were only against the Evangelicals. Well, it pretty clear now that you were not.

Get some help, Helen, and stop kissing the arses of the majority- it makes you look even more needy. You can learn a lot from Alvin Tan actually, at least he’s brave enough to speak his own mind and calls it the way he see it. Then again, he’s not on the government’s payroll…

Hello. Get a damn mirror for God’s sake. Name calling and demeaning others is the central theme of this blog. Evangelistas, Creepy Christians, Hannah so and so, sneaky bastards etc.I can now add the Catholic Church to the list as well.

And don’t think targeting Hannah’s weight issues makes you funny in any way, it just exposes you as the nasty and bitter little person that you are.

“It’s your favourite way to demean Muslims ”

            People in glass houses…..

Again, your default position is so predictable. Muslims, if you believe that Helen actually cares about Muslims and Islam, then you guys need to get your heads checked as well. No, she’s just pandering to the majority as she has no substance and is driving her own agenda.

Did yours crack from your ugly reflection?

re: “Name calling and demeaning others is the central theme of this blog.”

I’m not the one calling everybody else “racists”, “low class”, “extremists”, “bigots”, “hate-spewing, divisive, race-obsessed ignoramuses”.

              re: “Evangelistas”

An accurate label … like Nazis.

              re: “Creepy Christians”

              You’re one example.

              re: “Hannah so and so”

              Yeoh Tseow Suan.

              re: “sneaky bastards”

Absolutely! I stand by this 101 percent.

re: “I can now add the Catholic Church to the list as well.”

If you wanna diss the pontiff, there’s nothing I can do. As far as I’m concerned, my two postings on Pope Francis are factual. Nothing added at all to the news reports.

re: “And don’t think targeting Hannah’s weight issues makes you funny in any way”

Hannah’s 24/7 craving for this food and that food not funny, meh? I leave it to readers to judge for themselves – see her tweet below.

re: “it just exposes you as the nasty … person that you are”

I’m not the one who is threatening to make police reports against ustaz, ustazah and other Muslims who are curious about my religious status.

re: “it just exposes you as the bitter … person that you are”

I’m not the one whose PR application in a foreign country is rejected and feeling that I’m not good enough to cut it in a Western/Christian country.

re: “it just exposes you as the little … person that you are”

But I’m still taller than shorty Hannah, he he he.

              re: “People in glass houses…..”

… populate Jerusubang, the City of Sin.

re: “Again, your default position is so predictable.”

You keep calling people (particularly Muslims) “loony”. That’s the default position of the evangelistas. See, http://theunspinners.blogspot.my/2010/09/kuching-christian-preacher-call.html

re: “Muslims, if you believe that Helen actually cares about Muslims and Islam, then you guys need to get your heads checked as well.”

I’m not the one wearing this over my head and then threatening to lodge a police report against anyone who mistakes me for a Muslim. The woman in the pix below is Hannah Yeoh.

re: “No, she’s just pandering to the majority as she has no substance and is driving her own agenda.”

You must be talking about Hannah. All ‘form’ and “no substance”, and hence the deceitful packaging to cover up the nothing Islamic inside. Pompuan bukan Islam yang menggayakan stail-stail tudung di bawah ialah Hannah Yeoh.

      What fact?

The fact that Middleastern refugees are fleeing to your so-called butchering West for safe haven? But then they (the refugees) are not exactly making a bee line for their brethen gulf states, eh?

      Interesting.

Perhaps the inconvenient fact is the oil rich gulf states are not exactly rolling out the red carpet for their displaced brothers in faith nor make their pathway to citizenship easy.

        SAFE HAVEN ?!
You people are very good at creating phrases and terms in order to make you ppl look good.

It was the westerners and christians who started the war first and made ISIL to come to exist. didn’t you come across of tony blair’s confession on CNN. What about BLACK WATER company a security agent appointed by United States in Iraq owned by an evangelist. Two of their employees fled Iraq made a confession that they were tasked to murder as many Iraqi Muslims they can. they also confessed that the employees would open fire at civilians randomly whenever they find them. Check the news out from CNN BBC ABC News etc.

You people the one started the war caused so much displacement of civilians thus why do you refuse to take those refugees. It is pretty sad that the Arab world refuses those refugees but take this consideration also, it was not those arab neighboring countries that attacked and occupied those refugees’ lands. If your neighbor is attacked and his home is damaged who should the court order for compensations, you or the attacker that made the damage ?

You people think you can do whatever you want and later on put the blame on others.

Sorry for I have to say that CHRISTIANITY is the biggest hypocrite. your teaching that god is 3 in 1 jesus is the son of god and he also god and yet he died on cross. SO TO YOU GOD DIED ?

You people also believe that jesus the son of god died for your sins. my question, do you kill your own son in order to forgive someone, like you know telling the person who wronged you ‘i will forgive you but let me kill my son first’.

Isn’t your teaching taught you that every newborn carries sin and according to your priest if the newborn dies before being baptized he/she will go to hell. nevertheless christianity is the religion that men can change according to their whims and desires they might give another opinion later on.

Sorry, and your book full of [deleted] too

          truth

You are obviously conflating Christianity the faith and bad foreign policies of the West into one convenient scapegoat to attribute all the ills of the Middleast dilemma to.

I don’t disagree with some of your commentaries. Nobody is disputing the fact interventions in the Middleast by the West are nothing less than self serving. That does not mean Christianity is the culprit behind the Western interests.

By the way it would be sheer hypocrisy to mention the Middleast chaos without calling out the list of complacent Islamic collaborators in that region that too has interests that extend beyond religion. The West would not be able to yield that kind of influence in that region without their Islamic ‘partners’.

Saudi for starters has been sponsoring terrorism in their peddling of their brand of Wahhabism. Is Islam, the religion to be held accountable? It is easy to lump Westerners, Christianity and foreign policies together to justify waging jihad against the West because they are their oppressors and nemesis, Christians.

The irony is Westerners, the people, while majority may be Christians/Catholics on paper, they are mindful of the stigma of being associated with their faiths. Even Obama had the cross taken down before his speech just so he could be seen politically correct and not offend the secularists etc on national TV. So much for Christian influence.

For people to bring up Christianity, the faith, in context of Western foreign policies, they are either disingenuous or ignorant.

Quote: You people also believe that jesus the son of god died for your sins. my question, do you kill your own son in order to forgive someone, like you know telling the person who wronged you ‘i will forgive you but let me kill my son first’.

Let’s not get into this. A simple google search would have yield plenty of answers.

Quote: Isn’t your teaching taught you that every newborn carries sin and according to your priest if the newborn dies before being baptized he/she will go to hell.

Uh no. Newborns and people who cannot tell left from right, cannot be held responsible.

Quote: … christianity is the religion that men can change according to their whims and desires they might give another opinion later on.

There will always be hacks who come up with their self serving version. There are Muslims/religious teachers condemning the senseless killing by the jihadists. But the jihadists having invoked the Almighty, obviously has been told by some they are on the right path to martyrdom and virgins. Isn’t that conflicting, both can’t be right.

Again, let’s not get into the interpretation thing. Every faith has their tale.

what do you mean christian news. are they christian ? if they are, you shld add hypocrite before the word christian.

many white westerners turned to atheism due to they no longer trust christianity esp the catholic church. in united states alone there were 5000 sexual abuse committed by catholic priests and nuns. to garner the cases globally they are uncountable.

back to the christian news outlet, even if they call themselves christian to them money and fame come first, god is secondary. that is truth

            hallelujah !!!
