Hari Merdeka Bersih 4.0 vs  Hari Malaysia Himpunan Merah

Oppo  supporters believe that Bersih 4.o was driven purely by the man-on-the-street with pure motives for pure objectives.

On the other hand, they find it impossible to believe that any ordinary people might even want to support the Red Rally of their own free will.

Eddie Hoo of The Heat wrote,

“I have said it before and I will say it again. It is unthinkable that thousands of people would hop on buses on their own volition to make a trip across the country to be part of the Red-Shirt rally in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 16.”

Just ask Eddie Hoo to think again. If, after this, he still does not understand the Malay sentiment on the ground, he IS fooling himself.

    It takes two to tango

Just as Chinese community feels there is no need to cooperate with BN or accept it, UMNO too should realise that it is OK not to get Chinese votes.

Most Chinese do not realise that what Malay thinks are polar apart from what they read in STAR, Malaysiakini or Rocket. They are at loss why Malays in general (except those worshipping DAP like Mohd Sabu) did not participate in BERSIH 4.

They are puzzled why Baju Merah gathering managed to attract respectable Malay crowd that can match any BERSIH gathering. They do not understand that though Malays are upset with Najib, they cant accept seeing Najib’s picture stomped upon.

Actually the major reason why Malays are sceptical with DAP is realisation that DAP is very ruthless. Malays can see on their own how unethical Guan Eng is on the ties with PAS.
