Which leader best equipped to fight the neo-Zionists?

‘Konsep patuh syariah hanya mahu untung guna Islam, kata Dr Mahathir’

Why is Tun skeptical of the niat or intent for syariah compliance? His ideological position on this matter is on the opposite end to PAS.

It is the DAP – a party nowadays more and more oriented towards political Christianity – that is believed by PAS to be against God’s law (“lawan hukum Allah”).

Nowadays too, Tun is drifting closer and closer to the opposition stance on key policy issues. Why did he slam Jakim? That’s something usually you’d expect the DAP to do.

Projib want perpaduan, Protun reject unity govt

It’s obvious that Tun Mahathir and his camp are unlikely to be able to see eye to eye, much less consolidate any kind of unity pact with the PAS people.

So here’s another ‘either-or’ choice: If you want a working relationship to be established with PAS, you have to back Projib for this to happen.

Malay religious heartland is Hadi’s milieu

The population of Terengganu is 95.4 percent Muslim. Terengganu is the most Islamic of all our Malaysian states.

Terengganu Darul Iman is the quietest and most serene too.

Terengganu population 2015

Incidentally, Chinese in Terengganu only make up 2.46 percent of the state population. In contrast, the DAP-ruled Penang has a 40.5 percent Chinese population.

As a result of there being so few Chinese in Terengganu, there are equally few churches in Terengganu. However in Penang where the Chinese are the majority, the Church has risen to tower over everything else.

DAP ibarat Zionis, kuat membuli

Tun, a medical doctor, has always been unsympathetic and aloof from the PAS milieu found in backwater states like Kelantan and Terengganu. He would be a fish out of water in the company of their crowd.

Similarly, PAS’s Malay heartland folks were traumatized by their encounter with DAP’s city evangelistas. The experience was not only a culture shock but an up close-and-personal electrocution by the Zionist-like superbullies.

“DAP strategists were allegedly trained by Israel intelligence” — MCA Young Professionals Bureau

It is now the DAP that the PAS president regards as having “langgar batasan”.

In fact, a number of the party leaders also regard the DAP as a vicious bully.

PAS kena buli

DAP ibarat Zionis, anti Islam

From the mukim of Rusila in rural district of Marang comes Abdul Hadi Awang who is an Islam-soaked, almost purebred Muslim leader.

Someone of Hadi’s spiritual temperament could have emerged only from the rarified environment of Terengganu, an Islam-drenched state where the evangelical churches do not proliferate like they do in Penang and the Klang Valley.

It is hardly surprising that Hadi is such an anathema to the DAP.

Under his leadership, PAS saw a paradigm shift on the heels of the acrimonious split with DAP and one whereby Umno is no longer treated as the mortal enemy.

This situation is not something that could have happened under Tun’s premiership. While Najib and Hadi are adjusting to a mutual accommodation, between Tun and Hadi there is a personality clash.

Hadi Awang dibuli

Who are the enemies of Islam?

Tun has always been admired as the OIC leader spunky enough to stand up to the Jews and Western powers.

On 19 June 2003, Tun delivered his final keynote address as Umno president to the party general assembly. His speech was titled ‘Ancaman Masa Depan‘.

Tun said the European race is greedy and like to seize foreign territory. He also said their 2,000-year-old cultural history is a story of conquest and power grab.

Tun observed that the Chinese, Arabs and Indians who had reached southeast Asia (prior to the arrival of the Europeans) did not bring war with them. On the other hand, “Sejarah Eropah adalah sejarah berperang”, Tun added.

He made the comparison:

“Tetapi apabila sampai sahaja bangsa-bangsa Eropah maka wilayah Asia Tenggara seperti juga dengan wilayah lain di Afrika, Amerika Utara dan Selatan, Australia dan Kepulauan Pasifik, dicerobohi, diserang dan diperangi untuk menjadikan wilayah-wilayah ini milik mereka, merampas segala kekayaan dan menindas, menghina dan melakukan ‘genocide’.”

Tun’s speech was to forewarn Umno delegates about potential threats confronting our country.

Tracing modern history, Tun  recalled:

“Untuk mengeluarkan orang Yahudi dari Eropah, mereka [kuasa Barat] merampas wilayah Palestin untuk dijadikan negara Israel. Bukan sahaja tanah, rumah dan ladang orang Arab Palestin yang dirampas tetapi orang Arab dihalau keluar dari wilayah mereka yang dijadikan Israel.”

Apa hubungan DAP dengan Israel?

Nope, the Malays are not being “so paranoid” (see above) for being afraid of the cross. Their suspicion has a reasonable basis given how devious the evangelistas are.

And it is not that the Malays and their “faith is so weak” either. It is that the DAP evangelistas, like their Christian Zionist counterparts, are so aggressive.

Because the DAP behave just like Zionists, the allegations presently swirling that the party has links with Israel and have been trained by Mossad come across as quite believable.

We do not want to suffer the same fate as the Palestinians who have been dispossessed of their own land.

Zionism cannot be allowed to take root in Malaysia.

There needs to be a Royal Commission of Inquiry to look into the allegations of the DAP’s links with Israel.

PAS must step up to the plate because clueless Umno does not compute the threat posed.

  1. 1. I agree with Tun as I raised the same points on Rayani Air when it was launched. The shariah compliance is used as a marketing gimmick. That’s really uncomfortable for me on several levels.

    2. The article on crosses and pigs by MKini is just them stirring shit as usual. It’s just the poster that was changed; the movie is still being shown and not banned. So what’s the problem? Would more people go watch the movie if the pig is shown on the poster?

We live in a “multi-national” country with the majority Malay. Does it make them a lesser person to show some tolerance to the quirks of the majority?

    1. 1. The business owners obviously believe there is a market for the concept. However my point in highlighting Rayani – which I’m sure you grasped – is to illustrate the ideological distance between Tun and PAS.

Needless to say, the initiative was lauded by PAS.

I can’t pin down the number of supporters Tun has but PAS’s would surely surpass one million. It is this beturbaned headcount that the BN needs in GE14.

      2. It’s almost become a standard chant for the non-Muslims to keep mouthing how “fragile” is the faith of the Muslim. There’s an inherent flaw here when they reflexively use this throwaway line as a one-size-fits-all criticism.

Hammering away the mantra won’t make Muslims fear the cross any less.

They didn’t behave like this before DAP attained power, did they?

      1. “They didn’t behave like this before DAP attained power, did they?”

No. Those were simpler times when even the DAP fight in a more gentlemanly manner.

Now it’s like all bets are off. Let’s attack their Melayu identity, let’s storm their Islamic faith, let’s see where and when they’ll fall.

        1. re: “No. Those were simpler times when even the DAP fight in a more gentlemanly manner.”

Those times the DAP politicians were Chinese.

In DAP gelombang baru, the politicians have no race. Only religion got – Christian.

re: “let’s see where and when they’ll fall”

          Johor.

Kit Siang, Guan Eng and Chin Tong have made no bones about it that they will conquer Johor.

          Even Shahrir Samad’s majority in JB shrank from 46,792 (2004) to 25,349 (2008) to 10,134 (2013).

Annie made the argument that Puad Zarkasi lost Batu Pahat due to his right wing reputation and that he was not a good or suitable candidate.

Shahrir is popular but his majority was reduced by a whopping 15k while the oppo’s vote haul doubled.

The inference is that personal popularity (be it Shahrir or Saifuddin Abdullah) among the Chinese is no help at all.

Batu Pahat has a 46 percent Chinese electorate. It was definitely impacted. Even if Puad was as popular as Pudin, he could not have survived the tsunami. (Ali Rustam’s Bukit Katil had 41 percent Chinese.)

      2. Tun is right here. The Hindu couple wanted the airline licence so they pretended to agree with the melayu tudung/PAS to use tudung as uniform. What does this implied? The Hindus were playing on PAS malays. Islam is all encompassing and yet they worship idols. Which is syirik. A very serious thing. So enriching the Hindus is subahat in syirik.
If they really believe in islam, they would themselves believe in Allah.

          1. Islam1st, are you comfortable with them using the religion as a selling tool? Selling halal food or hijab is one thing but making it a point to use the term syariah compliant in an industry that rationally doesn’t require such branding feels like using Islam for profit.

It just doesn’t sit right with me. I can understand syariah compliance in banking but this feels as right as hearing celebrities say Alhamdulillah when they win awards or accolades portraying a sluttish villain.

            1. IAW, you got a point there.

But seriously we can’t really stop market forces, can we? Demand and supply. Its used to be ‘pink dollar’ and now its shariah this and that.

And hopefully too along the line, we make it work and make it better for the benefit of the Ummah. Long run, Muslims will still benefit, I think

    2. “the movie is still being shown and not ban”

if one can chng the poster, what make u think they cant chng the movie?

“Would more people go watch the movie if the pig is shown on the poster?”

perhaps there would be more malay to watch the movie if the pig is not shown? i don’t know.

      1. Sorry, I do not watch a lot of movies lately. Has there been any Chinese movie banned in recent years that makes anyone think that this movie will be banned?

And if more Malays were to watch if the pig is not shown on the poster, then the movie promoters were smart to omit the pig.

      2. I think it’s the authorities that are overzealous in their attempt to showcase their relevance in their role as ‘protectors of faith’.

I’ve seen young Muslim children carrying Goofy and Piglet (from Winnie the Pooh) soft toys around.

Those with multi-racial friends on fb are the best representation of tolerance. Some will post their BBQ pork lunch pictures, Buddha quotes, Jesus love while some Malays will post Quran quotes.

        No one feels offended.

        1. Helen, why is it that the Malays and Muslims must go out of their way and have to bend backwards to show their tolerance of the others? And the other side don’t have to budge an inch to demonstrate their goodwill and tolerance? Is that how it works?

          Just asking.

          1. SG

Perhaps you can give some examples wrt the part about Muslims having to “bend backwards”. [sic]

You did raise a pertinent contention point where both sides (Muslims and mon-Muslims) claimed to be the one conceeding.

  2. “Terengganu Darul Iman is the quietest and most serene too.”

“Tun, a medical doctor, has always been unsympathetic and aloof from the PAS milieu found in backwater states like Kelantan and Terengganu. He would be a fish out of water in the company of their crowd.”

    Wow.

What a wonderful change of tone, from bad tourist brochure to patronising urban-bubble Chinkie talking about BACKWATER states like Kelantan and Terengganu. Yes, BACKWATER.

What do you know about Terengganu? Jack shit, obviously. I lived there for almost 3 years. You want to go explain to the locals how BACKWATER their state is? Dumb, patronising Chinese bitch.

“Tun, a medical doctor, has always been unsympathetic and aloof from the PAS milieu found in backwater states like Kelantan and Terengganu. He would be a fish out of water in the company of their crowd.”

In this one para, you just show and prove that for all your asskissing and wannabe Melayuness, you will never, ever understand. Tun spent most of the pre-political part of his life helping the common people. My great-uncle travelled from Yan to Alor Setar to see him. Tun was one of the only 3 Malay doctors in Kedah. He waved off the charges and gave the treatment free,

And you think that Tun would be “a fish out of water” in the rural east coast? You’re completely wrong. He would be completely at ease, and the people would be queuing to meet him.

Why doesn’t Helen Ang, resident expert on the BACKWATER state of Terengganu, make a tri there are show us how to fit in? You’d do so much better at it than Tun. He’s a “fish out of water”, right?

Dumb, patronising Chinese bitch. Stay in your urban bubble. Idiot.

    1. “patronising urban-bubble Chinkie talking about BACKWATER states like Kelantan and Terengganu. Yes, BACKWATER.”

What if you heard Tun call Kelantan “mundur”? Same meaning, no? Watch the video, it’s already set at 3:35.

re: “What do you know about Terengganu? Jack shit, obviously. I lived there for almost 3 years”

Yeah, yeah. Just like you’ve lived all around the world, what.

I checked your digital trail. Your comments originated from geographically helter-skelter masking proxy servers. Hallmark of the professional cybertrooper.

The training in Israel was well worth the investment. Your boss should send more of your colleagues for a stint there as well.

re: “In this one para, you just show and prove that for all your asskissing and wannabe Melayuness, you will never, ever understand.”

I know that ‘bahasa menunjukkan bangsa’. Your rabid screeching of “Bitch! Bitch! Bitch”, your vicious name-calling and your foul language” tak menunjukkan budi langsung.

But then again, budi is something the Komtar upstarts will never, ever understand no matter how many tudungs and songkoks you all get for your costume wardrobe.

re: “My great-uncle travelled from Yan to Alor Setar to see him.”

Hahaha. Your great-uncle is about as real as my great-aunty Soong Ching-ling, wakakaka.

re: “Tun was one of the only 3 Malay doctors in Kedah.”

Hahaha again. The usual autobiographical note says he was one of five doctors in Alor Setar. Do your homework more diligently lah.

While I’m not denying that Tun was great with the common touch, nonetheless Kedah is not Kelantan nor Terengganu. They speak mutually unintelligible languages, didn’t you know?

re: “And you think that Tun would be ‘a fish out of water’ in the rural east coast? You’re completely wrong. He would be completely at ease, and the people would be queuing to meet him.”

He got pepper sprayed in Kota Bharu.

Re: “Why doesn’t Helen Ang, resident expert on the BACKWATER state of Terengganu, make a tri there are show us how to fit in? You’d do so much better at it than Tun. He’s a ‘fish out of water’, right?”

You’re saying that if Tun had visited Rusila, he would have been welcomed with open arms?

Don’t forget that Tun’s tenure as PM coincided with Amanat Hadi and they (the PAS folks) were practising ‘sembahyang dua imam’ during that period. Even relatives did not attend kenduri kahwin between Umno and PAS families.

So don’t lah kelentong like a Chinese firecracker – all irritating noise only.

re: “Dumb, patronising Chinese bitch. Stay in your urban bubble. Idiot’.”

I won’t say ‘Try harder next time’ because the more you strain in pretending to be something you’re not (i.e. a genuine commenter), the more painful it becomes to watch your faked orgasms.

      Here, for you, from MacBeth:

“a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
      Signifying nothing”

Go to sleep, little boy. It’s past your bedtime already.

      1. Ha ha ha! Oh poor Hewen.

See, all you can ever do is go back to your labels, that I’m an Israeli-trained Illuminati DAP Mossad cybertrooper. Which proves my point – your only mechanism for coping with anything is to paste a pre-made label on it. That’s all you can do.

You think I’m lying? Sorry, wrong again (the one thing in your life you’re good at is being wrong. The one thing.) Yes, I did live in Terengganu for almost 3 years; my father was posted to ITM Dungun there. Yes, I do have a whole set of relatives in Kedah (some still there.) Nothing I’ve said so far is a lie (except your age, as you mentioned. Sorry about that one. I Googled your photo. The one in the top right of this blog is way, way out of date. This is what I got:

45-ish? 46? This was several years ago. I apologise if the guesstimate is off.

I use a VPN? Yes, the Mossad gave it to me so I can access SR, MC (both blocked by our govt) and download torrents. All part of my training in Tel Aviv. No-one else in Malaysia uses a VPN, didn’t you know? Just me. Hence, I must be a professional cybertrooper. You see? Do feel free to report me. LOL…silly woman.

“Kedah is not Kelantan nor Terengganu. They speak mutually unintelligible languages, didn’t you know?” The loghat is different, so they would respond to Tun differently? Yet another urban Cina misunderstanding. Like I say, you don’t get it at all. He would get a warm reception in any Malay community. (So someone was planted to attack him with pepper spray. Big deal. What does Russia have to do with anything? You are incoherent in your logic.)

Grow a brain, far-from-little girl (you calling Yeoh fat is the height of hypocrisy.) Your bedtime extends to 2.03 a.m. at the very least – maybe it’s the lack of sleep that is making you so sadly incoherent? Try and sleep more, then.

You sad, pudgy failure (to repeat what I said on my only previous visit, several months ago. Now I remember why I came in here – you used the blog of an 11-year-old kid to indirectly attack Tun. Yes, an 11-year-old kid. How low can you get. You’re all class, aren’t you, fatboy?)

        1. re: “Ha ha ha! Oh poor Hewen.”

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Oh poor Anon. You sound deflated.

re: “See, all you can ever do is go back to your labels”

Mirror. Who has been labelling me “bitch”, “Chinkie”, “fatboy”, “fei chye”, “silly woman”, “dumb, idiot” … and many more choice epithets?

          re: “that I’m an Israeli-trained”

Let’s bring it out into the open, lah, by asking your boss to sue Mohd Razali who made the allegations about the Mossad training. Berani?

The saga would be an interesting complement to Justo.

          re: “Illuminati”

I gave you a pass earlier on this one.

          re: “DAP”

          Yes.

          re: “Mossad”

No. They wouldn’t want you just as Tasmania didn’t want Hannah Yeoh.

          re: “cybertrooper”

          Definitely.

re: “Which proves my point – your only mechanism for coping with anything is to paste a pre-made label on it.”

You didn’t come here to make any points on genuine issues. You came here to capitalize on the “bickerings” between a Protun and a Projib blogger, to laga-lagakan Annie and to try and damage my reputation as well as be a nuisance with all your “BITCH” screaming and nasty putdowns – fei chye, fatboy, etc.

re: “That’s all you can do.”

Hey, you’re forgetting that I can draw “fascinating charts” and “impressive graphs”.

          re: “You think I’m lying?”

          I don’t think you’re lying. I’m sure you’re lying.

How else do you think the DAP got 95 percent of the Chinese to support, if not through the Politics of Hate?

re: “Sorry, wrong again (the one thing in your life you’re good at is being wrong. The one thing.)”

I was correct in my forecast that the MCA would crash and burn, which they did in the last election.

re: “Yes, I did live in Terengganu for almost 3 years; my father was posted to ITM Dungun there.”

ITM? My toes are laughing. You’re trying too hard.

re: “Yes, I do have a whole set of relatives in Kedah (some still there.)”

If you say so. But I will believe your Great Uncle story inasmuch as you’re welcome to believe my Great Aunty story.

re: “Nothing I’ve said so far is a lie (except your age, as you mentioned.”

You also fudged (I’m not saying ‘lied’) that my blog has “fairly pathetic 6.5 million total page views” – hullo, 6,587,610 hits is NOT a pathetic number – “despite the fact that you started this blog in 2008”.

As I’ve already pointed out, I started my blog on 28 July 2011.

You lied about other things as well but my age and year of my blog launch are clear-cut items I can easily disprove.

re: “I apologise if the guesstimate is off.”

Your so-called ‘guestimate’ of my age is wrong and it was deliberate with malice. Inflating my age and fudging about my blog duration is not making persuasive counter arguments to the issues under discussion. They are cheap shots and low blows — very typical of DAP cybertroopers.

          So your apology is insincere.

re: “All part of my training in Tel Aviv.”

Like I said, your boss made a good investment. You trained with the best.

re: “No-one else in Malaysia uses a VPN, didn’t you know?”

99 percent of ordinary commenters do not.

          re: “Just me.”

Yup. The genuine commenter does not feign hysterical, self-righteous bluster like you.

re: “Hence, I must be a professional cybertrooper.”

If it makes you feel any better (and if your boss is reading this), allow me to say that you’re incredibly vicious. This is a desired trait in the job of smearing and should get you far in your chosen career.

Your boss should give you another promotion. You’re already high up in the ranks. Aim for the top.

re: “You see? Do feel free to report me.”

          Oooh, feeling self-conscious, is it?

          re: “LOL…silly woman.”

Your laughter sounds forced. Try fakakakaka.

re: “He would get a warm reception in any Malay community.”

You forgot that the Malay community called him ‘Mahafiraun’ and drew not-so-nice caricatures of him dressed in Pharaoh garb.

re: “So someone was planted to attack him with pepper spray. Big deal.”

It shows that Tun is not universally beloved in Kelantan as you claim.

re: “What does Russia have to do with anything? You are incoherent in your logic.”

ROTFL. Read again, Mr Colour Blind dyslexic. I said what if Tun visited “R-U-S-I-L-A” (not Russia). That’s Hadi Awang’s fortress lah.

You claimed to have lived three years in Dungun and yet Rusila doesn’t immediately ring a bell? Wakakakaka, your cybertrooper slip is showing.

re: “Your bedtime extends to 2.03 a.m. at the very least”

The brain is sharper at that hour.

re: “You sad, pudgy failure (to repeat what I said on my only previous visit, several months ago.”

Yes, your visit stood out for its most incredible viciousness.

re: “Now I remember why I came in here – you used the blog of an 11-year-old kid to indirectly attack Tun.”

You don’t know the story of the Emperor’s New Clothes, meh? It was the little boy who blurted out that the emperor was naked when the sovereign’s pentaksub-pentaksub chose to be blind and deaf.

re: “Yes, an 11-year-old kid. How low can you get.”

On the contrary, that 11-year-old has got more political acumen than the majority of the 95 percent you-know-who.

For you, enjoy. Ali Karim pictured below with the former deputy president of PAS.

re: “You’re all class, aren’t you, fatboy?)”

          1. What did you expect, hmm……what can you expect of the La Salle boys ? Fit for employment as…….? Hatchet men ? The descendants of coolies, the vulgarity, even after 100 years of ‘education’ and ‘re-education’ they never change. The impurity is too much……..what to do ?

            1. Yes, he’s doing hatchet job.

Will look up the Anon thing later to let you know. Feeling a bit wearied, quite understandably kan.

          2. I only ever intended to post one comment here, but you’re simply too entertaining to leave behind.

Rules of the Helen Ang Universe:

            a) “Only I define reality”. So, if I say you’re a Dapster, Evangelista, Bintang Tiga, J-Star or whatever it is, just live with it. I say so.

            b) “I can call you names, but it only goes one way.”

This was such an evil post against you, right?

            http://lifeofaannie.blogspot.my/2015/12/johor-umno-has-no-need-for-gung-ho.html

How dare anyone disagree! And she even “showboated” by asking people not to insult you! What an insult in itself! So, in return, you called her, what – “egotistical”, “emo”, made some crack about her boyfriend, threatened her with exposure, etc. etc.

Yeah, you are a class act all right.

PS: 6,587,610 hits is actually really mediocre, even since July 2011. Leave aside Unspinners, Rocky, Outsyed, etc – have you ever heard of “Stop The Lies” blog? Same time frame, but more than 8 million hits. They are hardly even known. I think if you hadn’t kept rewriting your four standard posts (yes, that’s all you’ve got) several hundred times each, the figure would be higher.

People will watch the same movie 3-4 times, maybe.

            Not 783 times.

            1. re: “I only ever intended to post one comment here, but you’re simply too entertaining to leave behind.”

You’re here because you’re the cybertrooper who claimed to have lived in Dungun for three years but who mistook ‘Rusila’ for Russia.

re: “So, if I say you’re a Dapster, Evangelista, Bintang Tiga, J-Star or whatever it is, just live with it. I say so.”

If the cap fits. I do not consider you a J-Star as I don’t believe that you’re working for the MCA-owned newspaper.

re: “I can call you names, but it only goes one way.”

Oh, who has been screaming “bitch”, “dead dog”, “Chinkie” and whatever. You’re too corrosive for me to want to check back commenting history.

re: “This was such an evil post against you, right?”

Why do you say that? I’ve never called ‘Annie’ evil. I merely said Annie lied. Like how I’ve pointed out that you lied, which you did.

              re: “How dare anyone disagree!”

Lots of people disagree here as my blog is a robust democracy unlike your fascist Dapster state.

re: “And she even ‘showboated’ by asking people not to insult you!”

              Yes, Annie showboated.

re: “So, in return, you called her, what – ‘egotistical’ ”

Yes. Popularity has got to Annie’s head.

              re: “emo”

Most definitely. All that whining about being sickly is like pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS).

re: “made some crack about her boyfriend”

I did not make any crack about Annie’s so-called ex-boyfriend. I merely pointed out that Annie kept ranting about him as “the bastard”, which is something very emo lah.

re: “threatened her with exposure, etc. etc.”

On the contrary, I’ve protected Annie’s identity by withholding Norman’s comment as well as couching what I say in careful words.

re: “Yeah, you are a class act all right.”

Yup, I did not crawl out of the gutter unlike your lot.

re: “6,587,610 hits is actually really mediocre”

Oh, do tell us the hits racked up by bloggers for your side.

re: “have you ever heard of “Stop The Lies” blog? Same time frame, but more than 8 million hits. They are hardly even known.”

“They are hardly even known” – That says it all. No impact. If you want to know what blogs get a lot of hits, it’s the entertainment blogs featuring celebrity gossip.

re: “I think if you hadn’t kept rewriting your four standard posts (yes, that’s all you’ve got) several hundred times each, the figure would be higher.”

If I’m so boring, why do you keep sticking around? Too ultra kiasu to leave?

re: “People will watch the same movie 3-4 times, maybe. Not 783 times.”

Your bosses have told the Chinese that we’re “second class citizens” like about 783,000 times in their ceramahs, road shows, forums, etc. And look what the ‘people’ did. Some 95 percent of them voted Rocket.

              1. Can I please ask why you have concluded that Annie is “egotistical”?

I have followed her blog for more than a year, and have never detected the slightest hint of an ego. A lot of the SoPo bloggers are cocky and/or obviously biased; she is neither. Yes, in a way she is somewhat emotional (I think she speaks more of insomnia than being sickly, though) but maybe people either find that honest or get turned off by it. She mixes politics with her personal thoughts, it’s OK to me. It might not be to others

If you think she is egotistical and big headed, is it because of:

                a) Something she communicated to you offline that the public do not know about?

                b) Something she wrote in her blog posts generally;

                c) Something she wrote in the course of the recent ‘spat’ with you?

                If it’s a) then fine, I guess that’s not other people’s business.

If it’s b) or c), then I honestly do not see it. At all.

She is one of the most humble, down to earth and balanced bloggers out there. She is neither very pro-Najib nor very pro-Tun (in fact in her past posts she’s been quite critical of him from time to time.)

As for c), if you are completely objective and re-read the whole sequence, is it possible that you have overreacted by assuming she had bad intentions that clearly were not present? She actually deleted some comments (no, they were not mine) so how does asking people not to insult you equate to “showboating”? Surely it doesn’t.

Again, “egotistical”? It just is not reflective of what’s on her blog.

                1. re: “I think she speaks more of insomnia than being sickly, though”

More sickly than insomnia. As a follower of Annie’s blog, you should have realised.

re: “If it’s b) or c), then I honestly do not see it. At all.”

No offence to Annie but if you’re hoping to ride on (take advantage of) Annie’s blog platform, you will have to be patient this round and not as opportunistic as you were the last round to laga-lagakan Protun and Projib … to DAP’s advantage, off course.

re: “in fact in her past posts she’s been quite critical of him from time to time”

Really? I don’t recall. Handsomeness and advanced age is a good buffer against criticisms.

re: “if you are completely objective and re-read the whole sequence, is it possible that you have overreacted by assuming she had bad intentions …”

You’re trying too hard. Are you aware that the more you open your mouth, the more you give yourself away?

re: “She actually deleted some comments (no, they were not mine) so how does asking people not to insult you equate to “showboating”? Surely it doesn’t.”

Too bad then that the oppo supporters are so vicious and flooded Annie’s blog with a deluge of hate mail against me.

I do not need to delete comments over here, not even when I upload posts about Rosmah because my regular commenters are not haters. Unlike the Dapster crowd (including your vicious self) that flocked to Life of Annie when she opened the floodgates.

re: “Again, ‘egotistical’? It just is not reflective of what’s on her blog.”

No benefit in belabouring a point with a cybertrooper. Those in the know, know. Even your colleague Kluang girl is aware.

                  1. You evaded the question completely.

Yet again, you have to cling on to a label (“DAP, cybertrooper, etc.”) and talk about that instead. It’s an evasion tactic. And I repeat again, I have nothing to do with the DAP whatsoever. Never voted for them in my life, and no, they do not pay me. I do not even know anyone in the DAP personally. OK? Good.

“Too bad then that the oppo supporters are so vicious and flooded Annie’s blog with a deluge of hate mail against me.” Some mildly critical comments did make it through, but I doubt they are “oppo supporters”. Read them again.

I think “Dapster” is your stick-on label for anyone who expresses anything against you. But that is so generically meaningless, you may as well use “Hamster”. I don’t think these people are making a political point. People could dislike George W. Bush without being Democrats, right? People can dislike Obama without being Republicans, right?

Why can’t you just answer the question? “Those in the know, know. Even your colleague Kluang girl is aware.”

What does that mean? Sorry, I don’t get it. Aware of what?

                    1. re: “You evaded the question completely.”

I see no point in letting you prolong the saga just to laga-lagakan Protun dengan Projib (siapa yang untung? DAP, kan?). In any case, Annie dalam dia punya last 2-3 postings pun dah kata dia “moving on”.

re: “And I repeat again, I have nothing to do with the DAP whatsoever.”

And your black ops propaganda keeps insinuating that I have something to do with DAP. Dunia terbalik. How Orwellian.

re: “Never voted for them in my life, and no, they do not pay me. I do not even know anyone in the DAP personally. OK? Good.”

Hahahahaha. But you know of Najib’s men like Farid Ridzuan, Khairun Aseh and Habibur Rahman.

re: “Some mildly critical comments did make it through, but I doubt they are ‘oppo supporters’. Read them again.”

You’re right. They were not comments by genuine oppo supporters. Rather they were planted comments by DAP cybertroopers.

re: “I think ‘Dapster’ is your stick-on label for anyone who expresses anything against you. But that is so generically meaningless, you may as well use ‘Hamster’.”

You’re not a hamster which is a pet. You’re viciously feral. And calling me “bitch”, “Chinkie”, “ugly dog”, “idiot”, “silly woman” is not expressing disagreement with my arguments. It’s just your psywar.

re: “Sorry, I don’t get it. Aware of what?’

Stop wasting your time here. Like I said, the more you comment, the more you make slip ups revealing you’re a cybertrooper, such as your claim to lived in Dungun for three years but misreading ‘Rusila’ for “Russia”.

                  2. Helen, for once, I agree with zofreis’ argument that you were wrong to conclude that Annie’s egotistical.

I found it surprising that you were not able to being the usual largely objective person that I came to know through reading your blogs over the years, as far as your “opinion” on Annie is concerned.

Too bad she already removed the link to your blog in her blog. I normally jump to read your blog (and others’ ) after finishing reading hers, by clicking the links.

                    Well, no one’s perfect, ya?

                    1. Setem,

re: “the usual largely objective person that I came to know through reading your blogs over the years”

I am the same objective person. And I’ve been looking at our political situation objectively. I’m not someone who’s afraid of making unpopular choices or taking the difficult (i.e. swimming against current) path.

By 2017, you will too will be see the battle lines shaping up clearly. It is is Umno led by Najib vs DAP led by the evangelistas. PAS will side with Umno if Najib remains at the BN helm.

Annie exaggerates and distorts in claiming that the Projibs want to kill innocent civilians who are anti-Najib.

The bottomline is that subversives in leadership positions who are undermining the BN chairman must be dealt with. I agree with the action taken against Muhyiddin. If this is not done, Umno will suffer the fate of MCA, i.e. being snipped x3 from the inside.

Secondly, I urge you to look past Annie’s declarations of this and that (itu sekadar cakap).

Look at the concrete outcome (apa dia bikin). If it is true that Annie has suddenly withdrawn from political blogging – we wait to see whether it actually happens – then there must be a reason … I have a fair idea why. You don’t.

In the same vein, I have my reasons to say that Annie is ‘egotistical’.

Compare lah what is visible. I’m consistent. I continue blogging as per normal and I remain where I am in Selangor.

It is Annie that tukar haluan secara mendadak dan kononnya, suddenly/overnight decided to pindah away from the Klang Valley.

Pause … think … rethink … will you?

If it makes you feel any better, I believe that Annie’s support for Tun is sincere, and Annie’s assessment of the Umno Johor situation is fine with me. I can accept differences of political opinions.

        2. Zofreis is just stating the obvious. Tun can be anything. Tun say the right things to the Malays but at the end of the day his father is an Indian from Kerala. He appointed his father’s friend Ali Abul as GOVERNOR of the Malay Federation. Quietly the indians knows how to get close to mahathir whose father tounge is Tamil. Anwar is another indian -chinese man, ananda etc etc…
Get power from the Malays and enriched his race…

          1. Dr. Mahathir’s mother and paternal grandmother were Malays.

            Some Malaysiana blog posted this:

“Perhaps, the most famous Malayalee from Kerala to land in George Town was Iskandar Kutty, a merchant who married a Johor-Riau wife Siti Hawa Iskandar. They became the proud parents of Alor Star’s top public school Sultan Abdul Hamid College’s founder-principal and Kedah’s royal educator Datuk Mohamad Iskandar. who was the school teacher of Tunku Abdul Rahman. He and his wife Datin Wan Tempawan Wan Hanafi – from the Kedah Bendahara’s (prime minister’s) clan – were the proud parents of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia’s Father of Modernisation and fourth Prime Minister.
And contrary to popular belief, teh tarik and roti canai are Malayalee dishes, not Tamil.”

            http://hadhramouts.blogspot.sg/2011/07/hadhrami-influence-in-kerala-and-beyond.html

A local Hadrami friend informed us:

“Kerala has the highest literacy rate and one of the highest Human Development Index; is one of the least corrupt; has one of the best health care services in the developing world; has the highest life expectancy rates in India and has the lowest population growth rate in the country. Very few people, especially outside Kerala, know of the very close ties and history between the people of Kerala and Arabs; Arabs from Hadramout in particular.

For the last 3,000 or so years, Arabs and the people of Kerala have been trading with each other. In the 7th century or so, Islam was introduced to Kerala. Today, about 25% of the people of Kerala are Muslims, many of whom are Arabs or of Arab lineage descended from the Hadramout in Yemen.”

            1. Many of them are intermarried with the Syed, Sharif and Sheikhs – descendants of the blessed Prophet s.a.w. and his close companions. The Ba ‘Alawi Sunnis of Hadhramaut have a centuries long tradition of Sufi missionary work and commercial ties in the Malay Archipelago. Up to this day students from all over the world travel to Tarim, Hadhramaut to learn the deen of Islam with the Sufi scholars.
Also, many of our beloved Malay sultans are themselves of the prophetic lineage or intermarried with them through the ages.

            2. There have been people from the Indian subcontinent in our country since 110AD. So I’m not sure anyone can blame Tun for having Indian blood. Does it make any difference?

  3. Cikgu Non a former strongman of PAS attempted to take the life of Dr. Mahathir during the late eighties when guru Hadi Awang issued his takfir proclamation against UMNO. Cikgu Non is nowadays a strong critic of Hadi Awang’s Islamism.

    1. Reminds me of an incident in the life of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. as he was preaching his message of peace and brotherhood, the hypocrites and fake muslims were planning his downfall :

“All praises and thanks be to Allah Most Sublime for having placed Islam in our hearts,” proclaimed Nudhair ibn Harith to the people around him. Someone enquired, “How did you enter into the faith sheikh?” Nudhair narrated his story :

“I used to be among those who hated Muhammad and the Muslims. To my great dismay they eventually conquered Mecca. So I went along with the other folks and declared myself a Muslim – of course no one could convince me of Muhammad’s prophethood! Several days later, news spread that the tribes of Tagif and Khawazin and the nomads near Taif were planning a war campaign to seize Mecca from Muhammad. It was the Prophet’s principle that enemy forces should not be engaged around Meccan territory. He therefore planned a defensive expedition to confront the rebels at Hunain (approx. 300km away). In the muslim army were many newcomers into Islam including myself.

The march to Hunain turned out to be rather unadventurous, but we were in for a rude shock during the final phase of movement! In order to reach the Hunain valley the troops had to negotiate a narrow pass hemmed in by high ridges. The geography proved disastrous because once the major section of our rank and file had proceeded into the narrow trek, wave after wave of arrows rained down on us. The Muslims were in chaos! As for me, my initial shock quickly settled into relief as my heart plotted: ‘If these circumstances continue, I will defect to their side and cripple Muhammad’s forces.’

Allah’s Will was otherwise. Astonishingly, Muhammad consolidated the nucleus of his forces – the Muhajirin and Ansari warriors – within a short time. They rallied, counter-attacked and broke the thrust of the enemy. Muhammad emerged victorious and the spoils of war included thousands of camels and sheep among other things.

A day after the battle when most of the troops had dispersed from the Hunain valley, I was strolling in one of its many alleys when I was delighted by the sight of camels and sheep grazing willy-nilly. Then out of nowhere Muhammad appeared walking towards me. His face never lacked colour and he was smiling as he observed me. He summoned me: “Nudhair!” I answered, ”I am here, oh Messenger of Allah!”

Then he revealed to my utter shame : “Isn’t what you’re witnessing much better than what you intended for me a day ago – defeat for the Muslims?”
I realized instantly that Allah had disclosed my secret motives. I was in a swoon when he addressed me a second time: ”It is time you know where your place ought to be.” I answered weakly, “I know that and I have made my choice.”
On hearing my response he gracefully prayed: “Oh Allah, Thou art possessed of all perfections. Grant him greater steadfastness in his faith.”

We bade farewell and I returned to my camp. Not long after that, a man of Bani Duail announced to me, “The Prophet has presented you a gift of one hundred camels!” And he made a request : “Grant me a share of your camels – I am in debt.” I was stunned by the Prophet’s behaviour and my conscience said: “I am not going to accept anything to preserve me in Islam. Allah, my submission to You is not equal to a reimbursement . . . but, this is a gift from the Prophet himself! is it proper to reject? Yet I did not ask for it! My mind vacillated back and forth. Eventually I did accept the Prophet’s camels and to my friend of Bani Duail I gave ten of them. From that time on, I have never been less impressed by the Prophet’s compassion.”

      1. Sorry, a correction: the Hunain valley is about 10km away from Mecca on the road to Taif – not 300km.

  4. It is narrated on the authority of Usama b. Zaid r.a. that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent us on a raiding party. We raided Huraqat of Juhaina in the morning. I caught hold of a man and he uttered: “There is no god but Allah!” But I attacked him with a spear (and killed him). It occurred to me to report it to the Apostle (pbuh). The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) queried me: “Did he profess “There is no god but Allah,” and even then you killed him?!”
I replied: “Ya Rasulullah, he professed out of fear of the weapon!” He (the Holy Prophet) asked: “Did you tear his heart out to see if it had professed or not?” And he went on repeating those words till I wished I had never embraced Islam before that day.

    * * *

Sa’ad r.a. said: “By Allah, I would never kill any Muslim so long as a person with a heavy belly, (i.e., Usama), would not kill him. Upon this some person remarked: “Did Allah not say this: And fight them until there is no more mischief and religion is wholly for Allah?
Sa’d said: “We fought so that there should be no mischief, but you and your companions want to fight so that there would be mischief!”

    (Sahih Muslim)

    1. Abdullah, Usama bin Zaid was no ordinary companion of the Prophet s.a.w. – he was like his grandson because Zaid bin Haritha, Usama’s father was the beloved and sole manservant of the Prophet s.a.w.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usama_ibn_Zayd

Upon accession as the first Caliph of Islam, Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (r.a.) was faced with several crises. The immediate issue was to dispatch the army to the north to face the Byzantine threat. The Muslims had faced a stalemate with the Byzantines at the Battle of Mu’tah in which they lost their leader Zaid bin Haritha. A follow-up defensive expedition had been initiated by the Prophet s.a.w before his passing to safeguard the northern approaches to Madinah. Abu Bakr (r) reaffirmed the decision of the Prophet just before he passed away, to appoint General Usama bin Zaid who was only 17 years of age at the time to lead the defensive force of veteran companions. The expedition turned out to be a success, thus affirming the strength and cohesiveness of the Muslims in the absence of the Prophet s.a.w.

      1. Yes, the historian al-Tabari recorded that as Khalifa Abu Bakr As-Siddiq walked alongside Usama bin Zaid on his horse leading the troops out of the city …

“Then he (Abu Bakr) said, “Oh army, halt! for I shall command you ten things; learn them from me by heart.
        (1) You shall not engage in treachery;
        (2) you shall not act unfaithfully;
        (3) you shall not engage in deception;
        (4) you shall not indulge in mutilation;
        (5) you shall neither kill a young child nor an old man or woman; (6) you shall not fell palm trees or burnt them,
        (7) you shall not cut down fruit-bearing trees;
        (8) you shall not slaughter a sheep, cow or a camel except for food.
        (9) You will pass by people who occupy themselves in the cells of monks – leave them alone, and leave alone what they busy themselves with.
        (10) You will come to a people who will bring you vessels in which are varieties of food; if you eat any of it, mention the name of Allah over them. ,,,”

It is narrated that Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said:
“(Archangel) Gabriel came to me, took me by the hand, and showed me the gate through which my community shall enter into Paradise.” Abu Bakr r.a. replied: “Would that I were there with you to see it!” The Prophet answered: “Do you not know? You shall be the first of my people to enter Paradise.”
