MCA is becoming more DAP than DAP

MCA has just beaten DAP to the punch in aiming a blow at the ‘parti Islam’.

Its vice president Chew Mei Fun today slammed the PAS president for “yet another inflammatory accusation aimed at sowing distrust against Christians in Malaysia”.

Hadi Awang: Helah pendakwah Kristian “perkara yang membahayakan”

MCA run after Pakatan bus

Calling Hadi Awang a “PAS hardliner” suffering from “selective amnesia”, MCA wants his party to look at “its own backyard first of offering monetary and material rewards before creating suspicion against the Christian community through unsubstantiated allegations”.

MCA attacks PAS for ostensibly “commercializing” Islam – see below – but has no criticism whatsoever on the DAP city harvesters commercializing Christianity.

Pro-establishment Malay voters in MCA-contested areas know what to do with their votes in GE14.

  1. Simplistic political thinking, how else are they going to win back chinese christians vote if they didn’t upstage DAP? MCA kena tunjuk lansi sikit maa. But the real question is, will it work? Probably not.

  2. Who listens to MCA nowadays?

And really ahh…who is Chew Mei Fun?…Shoo shoo..shoo.. go away..

  3. I’m no supporter of DAP’s pseudo-evangelization realpolitik, but Chew Mei Fun has definitely hit bull’s eye this time – I’ve read the article.
Mr. Hadi ought to divest himself of his holier-than-thou image, and persist with a long look into the mirror. He has been forcing himself upon the Malay faith community for donkey years with his firebrand version of Islam since the good old days of Dr. Mahathir.

    1. Be that as it may, nothing Ms Chew nor her party can say will warm the cockles of hardened Chinese hearts.

The 95 percent will still bash away asking why MCA remains in the BN if this is what they think, and considering Umno BN taiko cosying up to PAS.

Whereas the five percent will query MCA’s true motivations in putting a damper on a development (i.e. PAS-Umno hook up) that will benefit BN in the next election. Plus it is DAP that is the evangelical party. Going by tradition, MCA is majority Buddhist-Taoist.

So it’s a case of yang dikejar (return of Chinese votes) tak dapat, yang dikendong (Malay pro-govt votes) tercicir.

      1. I’m not talking political numerology here Helen. I’m referring to genuine political acumen that is as rare as diamonds these dark days of self-aggrandizement.

        1. MCA has lost its political acumen. That’s why the party will be buried in 2018.

Gerakan should maintain a low profile (go on auto pilot), keep out of issues such as this one and ride the coming storm. There will be life after GE14 if Gerakan plays its cards right.

Gerakan can thereafter step into the vacuum left by MCA and represent the five percent Chinese in the ruling party.

          1. I m no fan of Hadi or his brand of politics. If someone like him were to come to power, my community is bust. But having said that, the man has a right to his opinion and the Fried Bee Hoon should respect that just as she has the right to voice hers.

MCA is toast. By trying to outdo DAP, they merely made people shun them even more. They should have done that years ago when they had the power but they didn’t. They were too full of themselves. Who’s going to believe them now ? As for Gerakan, they are also toast. Who believes them anyway ?

The 5% of my people are not going to show up at the polling stations come GE14. We have had enough of the mad politics of the previous 2 elections. Enough lah. The politics is for the mad mob.

    2. The Prophet once said to his Companions, “The best of leaders are those who like you and whom you like, and the worst of leaders are those who hate you and whom you hate – they curse you and you curse them.”
Prophet Muhammad also said: “One day of justice from a just ruler is better than his continual worship for sixty years.” The Prophet declared that “the man most beloved and closest to God is the just leader, and that the man who is most hateful and contemptible in the sight of God is the unjust leader.”

Having considered all the relevant religious texts, Imam al-Ghazali concluded that “there is no act of religious worship greater to God than just governance.”

      1. Thanks for the ref. I like this part best:

“Baha’ al-Din remarked to the Sultan, “Against the floods and enemy horses, you have raised a goodly defence. But what protection have you built against those unseen arrows—the sighs and moans of the oppressed—which pass through a thousand walls and battlements, and sweep whole worlds to destruction? Go and erect a citadel of JUSTICE and EQUITY, for that alone can ensure the peace of the world.”

Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address 1863, resonates with that paragraph:

“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who gave their lives here that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate — we cannot consecrate — we cannot hallow — this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it – far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.

It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us — that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion — that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain — THAT THIS NATION, UNDER GOD, SHALL HAVE A NEW BIRTH OF FREEDOM — AND THAT GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, SHALL NOT PERISH FROM THE EARTH. ”

        * Blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad and Prophet Jesus.

        1. Since you quoted from President Lincoln, there is something significant about America’s Founding Fathers related to Islam.

Mr. Keith Ellison an Afro-American converted to Islam at age 19 while he was in college. He went on to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. Ellison was sworn into Congress on an English translation of the Quran in 2007. That copy of the Quran once belonged to Thomas Jefferson.

          THE JEFFERSON QURAN
          http://www.oxfordislamicstudies.com/Public/focus/essay1009_jefferson.html

          – excerpt –
“There are two ways in which Jefferson understood the Qur’an; the first is as a law book. As a legal document, the Qur’an, together with the Hadith and Sunnah, are the scaffolding upon which the Shari’a or Islamic Law is erected. Jefferson understood this implicitly about the Qur’an, probably as a result of his own legal training. In this legalistic understanding of the Qur’an, he was able to probe the text for information for his diplomatic endeavors, particularly those involving the Barbary States.

However, there was a second means by which Jefferson understood the Qur’an and that is through his adherence to Deism. A slightly heretical view to possess in Christendom, Deism espoused the idea that there is a single all-powerful creator (God, Allah, etc.), but that this creator does not intervene in or manipulate human affairs. The deistic view of religion is firmly rooted in natural rather than supernatural law. Jefferson, educated amongst the intellectual elite of the Enlightenment, was very much taken with Deism’s ideas and became one of its many 18th century followers. Of the many tenets of Deism, the one that is most consistent with Islamic belief is the rejection of the Trinity. As the Qur’an emphatically states: “Those people who say that God is the third of three are defying [the truth]: there is only One God (Qur’an 5:72).” For Jefferson and other Deists, this core aspect of Islamic belief made Islam marginally more relatable than Christianity.”

  4. Who are more fearful to the Australian First Party?
    http://australiafirstparty.net/chinese-imperialism-a-more-urgent-threat-to-australia-than-islam/

“Globally, there are 1.9 billion Muslims running around, but the problem is mainly on the other side of the planet. Long term, Islam looks to be a serious threat to Australia, as it is currently infecting Europe and the US.

But Chinese Imperialism is Australia’s most immediate national security threat. Islam is a social menace like an Ebola outbreak, whereas Chinese Imperialism is like Aussies succumbing to dynastic serfdom.

Chinese Imperialism too is about world domination, but with less testosterone and the Chinese junta are more sly about it. Chinese Imperialism is not about an ideology to which many races can follow, but about the Chinese race spreading its massive population as one superior controlling race over other races.

Anyone can become a muzzie, but under Chinese Imperialism, if you are not Chinese, then you must be subordinate to the power end game.”

“In other parts of South-East Asia, China is also seeking to dominate ports as well as shipping between ports, with Laem Chabang in Thailand, Sihanoukville in Cambodia, Batam in Indonesia and Kuala Tanjung in Northern Sumatra marked for key development. Most recently a “port alliance” has been announced between 10 Chinese ports and five Malaysian ports. The “sister port” tie ups with Kuantan, Melaka, Kedah and Port Klang in Malaysia are readying further nodes in China’s ‘New Silk Road‘ network.”

    1. I beg to differ Ms. Mulan, This article presuppose a theory of nations based on power relations with objective of hegemony and racial superiority. That was true of Mao’s Red China worldview of iron-fisted rule over the ignorant masses.

But modern China, despite its communist past seems determined to engage the world on a footing of trade development and cultural goodwill – this is inspired by the neo-Confucian social project. Not only hard power nor soft power is the answer, but good intentions are paramount, as in the golden days of the Ming Dynasty when Admiral Zheng He set off on his seven voyages of cultural exchange and international commerce.

      1. So after 200 years of lording over the rest of the world, now the whites are feeling vulnerable as their power is declining, thus the vile racism now on display not only in Australia but also other white nations. If not the Chinese, you can bet your money they will find others to target namely the Indians whose power is also on the rise. For those of you wanting or planning to migrate to these white countries, good luck, that is, until the whites start calling you names.

        1. “For those of you wanting or planning to migrate to these white countries, good luck, that is, until the whites start calling you names.”

Sounds to me like you have never traveled before, or at least not to the west. So clueless.

          1. Why are you still here ? You should be packing your bags for Australia. Why are you still here ? You PR application met the same fate as HY’s ?

    2. “Anyone can become a muzzie”

      Lol.

Why are you posting this article from the bogan party? They are Australia’s equivalent of Perkasa.

  5. Ms H. With the departure of the venerable Opposition Leader’s Boss, it makes political sense for the Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP to discard all their links and traditional baggage with their spiritual Homeland and join the BN on a CLEAN SLATE and take part in National Infrastructural Development.

    1. BN under Tun Razak did not accept DAP and neither will BN under his son.

The DAP are anti Malay and anti Islam.

Neo-Zionists DAP are not acceptable in the BN.

If Chinese want to be pro-government, they can support Gerakan.

  6. Chew made a mistake. The law prohibits propagation of Christianity (and other non-Islamic religions) to Muslims. However, there is no restriction to propagate Islam to Christians (and other non-Muslims). Using monetary rewards to entice people to convert to Islam is not illegal.

    1. There is a difference between paying up front before going under the blanket and paying after you are done!

    2. “True piety is this: to believe in Allah, and the Last Day, the Angels, the Book, and the Prophets, to give of one’s substance – however cherished – to kinsmen, and orphans, the needy, the traveler, beggars, and to ransom the slave, to perform the prayer, to pay the zakat.” (Qur’an 2:177)

Mr. Drinho, we do not encourage fellow human beings to convert to Islam by enticing them with monetary gains. The mukmin just helps people who are in trouble or in need of assistance, as the dalil from surah Al-Baqarah states it. The Prophet s.a.w. has famously said that the person who does not wish for his brother (fellow human being) what he wants for himself, is a person without faith.

“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.” (Quran 2:256)

Enticement with money to convert to any religion is certainly a form of subtle compulsion:- take our money but you must join us. This is immoral. An individual should learn the tenets and meaning of Islam and be convinced of its truth before he submits to the faith. That was the Sunnah of Muhammad s.a.w.

Once the Prophet s.a.w. said to his wife: “Oh ‘Aishah! Never turn away any needy man from your door empty-handed. Oh ‘Aishah! Love the poor; bring them near to you and God will bring you near to Him on the Day of Resurrection”. He also went on to say: “Seek me among your weak ones, because you people are granted provisions and help only because the weak ones are in your midst”. (Encyclopedia of Seerah, vol. VIII)
Allah Almighty is Most Kind, and the Prophet imitated his Lord’s perfection by showing kindness to his servants and all creatures without any regard for their beliefs, color or nationality.
Verily, the Prophet proclaimed: “God is Most Merciful and is pleased with kindness in all things.”
      (Sahih Bukhari 6601).

  7. according to the malay mail online, the transport minister said :

“schools opened by Christians had in fact contributed to the country’s “excellent education quality”.

just a correction, he should have said the word ‘PENJAJAH’ rather than ‘Christians’ (alone).

the more correct wordings that the daily should have made was :

“schools openned by PENJAJAH using small part of the WEALTH THEY HAD CURI IN TANAH MELAYU had in fact contributed to the country’s excellent education quality.”

hadi was talking about a different breed of christians and liow twisted his words by taking penjajah christians and compared them with the current non white christians in malaysia i.e. a new breed of christians.

we don’t benefit anything from this latter christians nor we appreciate the earlier.

the latter in fact, benefiting from this country.

    1. “nor we appreciate the earlier.”

I think you should stop using the internet. It’s an invention of Christian America. Be consistent la.

      1. go and try and use your power to influence the so called ‘christian america’ that you said la, get them to stop me from using internet. try la….. don’t just tik tok tik tok the keyboard saja la…see the christian america will listen to you or not la…

  8. Ms H. The Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP is alleged to be anti-Malay and pro-Zionist in deference to their founder Lee Kuan Yew. But the examples of Russia and China despite their Marxist origins with all-out Dictators like Mao and Stalin, are now full flight capitalists, more so than you and me. Hence, the DAP has reached a crossroad now either they change their colour or be SOCIAL WORKERS forever. In other words, to conform the DAP will be even more PRO-MALAY AND ANTI-ZIONIST !

    1. Uncle,

The DAP are not socialists. They’re “now full flight capitalists”.

They’re however dajjal. It’s in the Bintang Tiga DNA and cannot be changed.

The current crop of Bintang Lima are cucu-cicit komunis, and hence their utter viciousness.

  9. Ms H. You could be correct. But these folks have no political philosophy of any kind and so rather than later they will meet up with a blank wall. Pulau Pinang is not Singapura which has already failed due to its demographics. To cover the beautiful Pearl of the Orient with concrete is no panacea to the problems which beset the Singaporean Trojan Horse DAP all the time. By putting themselves into the strait jacket of exclusivity, this will only lengthen the uncertainty of DAP’s future which is entirely dependent on Chinese support. At the moment, so far so good in their spiritual Homeland. But no one can foretell a destiny of a country with examples like Sparta, Hong Kong, Pondicherry, Palembang, Goa etc.or a political party or a person.
