Shape of sedekah — Melayu baru beholden to DAP charity

By Rina

This foto (ketayap men waving tayang-tayang the cheques) reminds me of the CNY lions … using young boys as dancing lions, in the hot sun climbing tall ladders to grab at the hanging angpow packets!

Anyway that’s their culture kita kena respect and peghati aje.

Harap jangan pula naik ghairah, satu hari depa gantung cek-cek semua kat tingkap, pak-pak ketayap kena berkompang naik tangga gi amik cek-cek tu ya. Manatau satni tak pasai-pasai UBAH nak menyesuaikan sangat cara menerima ‘sedekah’ depa ke arah tu pula.

Dulu kena tumpang PAS. Sekarang ada Melayu DAP dah yang pandai cakap-cakap tentang bagaimana kaum Cina menyambut bulan puasa.

Hannah Yeoh: “Ini sememangnya satu fitnah” (merujuk kepada tuduhan bahawa DAP anti-Islam)

  1. Here is Penang

    Comes from this posting.

Question: What has berbuka puasa got to do with the Penang Tunnel/Bridge what ever?

(Adm).

      1. And your delusions continue if you think the general public rely on the mass media for quality political reporting. Then again, what’s there to expect from a Helen Ang fan girl.

  2. It’s not easy to get to Putrajaya , you got to brush your teeth often, so your smiles is inviting white , and of course angpows is a culture lor rr .

Kemuliaan tangan yang memberi begitu tergambar ,and kehinaan tangan yang menerima juga terserlah .

Nice to know you make that extra effort to shine your teeth when visiting Putrajaya, nemberi senyuman juga adalah sedekah.. niat tu mesti bersih. Alhamdulillah

Tapi ‘Ang pow’ tu culture sapa? Kalau ada niat lain hulur ang pow tu dah kira ‘rasuah’, yg menghulur pun terlibat dengan amalan rasuah bukan saja penerima.

Thats why I pelik tengok gambaq depa dok lambai2 gedik terima cek? Bagi resit kat dia dan kalau dah rasa bersyukur sangat, hantaq surat “thank you belly much” pun dah memadai.

Lagi satu. Tu yang kalut ‘sedekah’ kat semejid dan surau. Dia pakai duit apa? Elaun keraian? Mai kita tengok duit tu mai dari mana?

      1. Betul kata kau.
Sebelum dah 5 generasi rakyat malaysia digadai Rosiemah.
        Tambah dengan HY, hancur mampus.
Oh, yang curi wang dari project lembu NFC tu lagi 1 generasi.
Jadi Malaysia memang koyak untuk 10 generasi akan datang. Kesian betul.

      2. No need to use MYR currency notes, lah!

USD or SGD will do nicely, thank you. More “acceptable”, “stronger” – what’s not to like?

Funny that in Singapore, little green paper packets (empty) are available before Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Even local supermarkets hand them out to their customers. Also sold at the Ramadan bazaars in Geylang Serai, Tampines, Woodlands and Arab Street.

Now what do you suppose will be used to fill those little green packets? Dates, raisins or almonds?

        Hahaha…

  3. Bandar Malaysia? 60% stake held by the Lim Kang Hoo-led consortium which includes CREC? Which gives CREC an approximately 20% stake in the Bandar Malaysia project.

With MOF having a 40% stake in the project.

Which got taken off 1MDB’s books. A good thing, right?

And now Bandar Malaysia has received a whole bunch of tax incentives from the government.

Which will maybe persuade MNCs with regional HQs in Singapore to relocate to Bandar Malaysia.

    Hopefully…

This shouldn’t be construed as “charity” from the “gene pool”, right?

But a sound logically-thought out business decision. Long-term thinking with risks factored in.

    Right, Helen?
