Black ops to goad Tun into a raging bull

July 18, 2016 at 6:24 pm 23 comments

The more blows are directed at him, the deeper the Grand Olde Man digs in his heels.

Tun has over the past year seen his son removed as Kedah MB, his ally sacked as Umno deputy president, the ‘no confidence’ motion (which he strongly backed) on the budget defeated in Parliament, his Deklarasi thwarted, his Proton chairmanship removed, his henchmen charged with economic sabotage, and his police escort taken away.

Even his innocuous Perdana Leadership Foundation, of which Tun is the honorary president, is not left untouched — see Malaysiakini headline below.

Tun’s larger-than-life persona shrinking

The ultimate humiliation – a fate worse than jail sentence – is if Dr Mahathir were to be stripped of his Tunship.

Revoking his highest title would leave Dr M in the ranks of the Datuks such as Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, Datuk Mahfuz Omar, Datuk Ibrahin Ali, Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan and Datuk Khairuddin Abu Hassan.

One by one, all the accoutrements that serve to enhance Tun’s aura are being peeled away from him.

But Tun is not taking these stinging mortifications lying down. On the contrary, the harder he is pressed, the more vigorously he hits back.

In the earlier stages of Tun’s attempt to topple Najib, his strikes were characterized by a certain degree of subtlety. Nowadays the attacks by Tun have degenerated into the crude and brute (blunt force).

Don’t be surprised if very soon after this Tun himself will earn the moniker ‘Cash is King’-carbon copy. Whatever and however much it costs to fight to the finish.

BELOW: While Tun looks like he’s discovered the Fountain of Youth, Marina’s plastic, wrinkle-free face looks frozen like a deer caught in headlights

Marina Tun selfie

‘My way’ and no turning back now

Tun is the living embodiment of ‘No Retreat, No Surrender’. It is absolutely certain that he will do battle to his final breath.

So the last thing that a pugnacious warhorse like Tun wants to be told is for him to “take a rest”.

Or to be reminded that he is over 90, past his prime and “too old” to continue in politics. The “handsome” nonagenarian doesn’t look his age anyway — check out his fantastically youthful-looking recent photo below

Mahathir Nga Kor Ming

Blogger Melayu pemakan dedak ultra kiasu

Why would a blogger wish to publicly ‘advise’ Tun to cease and desist, and allow “younger people” (who, ah?) to be instead in the thick of things?

For Tun to be told that his rebellion within Umno has failed miserably, and that his new party is akin to Datuk Onn Jaafar’s failed IMP and Parti Negara, is a surefire way to get Tun all riled up.

Giving Tun advice that he is only tiring himself, that the fight is too tedious for someone his age, and that he should stick to praying in the hope of Allah empowering the opposition to win GE14 is to guarantee Tun will definitely charge with guns blazing in the opposite direction (to the supposed caring advice).

Takkan lah si blogger tu tak kenal peribadi Tun?

Why would a Melayu blogger who has worked before with Umno Johor – albeit he is now a reject item – proffer such ludicrous advice which he knows will have the opposite effect?

Ahhh… it’s precisely because it is the opposite effect that is desired.

anime sailor moon snigger

Hidden agenda behind the ‘caring’ concern

The ‘just rest at home’ advice offered Tun – kononnya from someone who regards himself as a son and who looks upon Tun as a father – is like waving a red flag at an enraged bull.

This Trojan horse Melayu blogger – who is a 20k political operative – actually wants Tun to fly off the handle. Through his sneaky-disguised-as-nice goading, he is trying to make Tun the wrecking ball that will destroy Umno after Tun scorches the earth.

Don’t forget that this Melayu blogger had previously called Umno a “racist party”. He also labelled Umno leaders as “despicable” for whacking the handsome old man, and described their various repressive actions as “hateful”.

Alahai DAPsters, tolong gunakan otak sikit, bolah tak?

Blogger pretending to be half Chinese has become RBA

Think! Who stands to benefit most from Tun going on an End of Days warpath? You can figure it out for yourself.

However, despite his clever chameleon abilities, the Malay blogger gave himself away when he penned a line about how the Protuns – if they’re still determined to soldier on against Najib – must then “fight as one of the opposition parties”.

A-ha, bingo!

It’s apparent that the Protun blogger is carrying out his paid task of shepherding his fellows to join the existing opposition flock.

Again my dear readers can work out which one of the opposition parties is most eager to absorb Malays who are ex-Umno. Which oppo party desperately needs to be strengthened by an influx of Melayu Baru?

This baiting and goading Tun with advice that will irk the handsome old man is clearly in line with the Melayu-screw-Melayu strategy.

One Melayu blogger is in KL today to collect his pay cheque.

Yes, go ahead. Goad him. Mock him. Call him names. Maki his legacy. And take away the Tunship.

Rubbish tactics by small minded people. You think we are all not laughing at the stupid tactics? How we laugh at the childishness of Rahman Dahlan, Salleh Said Keruak and the Pemuda UMNO. If all this while we have been neutral, I believe the more things done to disgrace Tun M, the more people will hate Najib and his henchmen.

Let’s hope this will be translated in the PRU 14 unless of course Najib abuses the MKN. So many abuses already, one more will be alright for him. And for all those who unquestioningly and blindlysupport him.

What filthy mouths they have, who the hell do they think they are??

“So many abuses already, one more will be alright for him. And for all those who unquestioningly and blindlysupport him”. Nak membabi buta menuduh sesaorang, kita kena berhati2 sikit.

      I concur with you, Ayah.

Helen chose not to respond to you.

I agree with you RINA, though Helen chooses not to respond to you or Ayah. Ini blog dia thus its her right whether she wants to respond or not to anyone.

Spot on, Rina. A lot of abuses done by Mahathir during his 22 years’ tenure but most of us pejam mats as we supported UMNO, the party and not an individual. When he used tax payers’ money to bail out his son’s shipping company to the tune of several RM Billions, we still pejam mata and pekak telinga. But now no more as he is not the PM nor the president of UMNO. He is not even an UMNO member. [deleted]

If Mr. Najib prevails in his inclination for dismantling the institutions of good democratic governance, he must end up an all powerful dictator of a degenerate third world nation. He would then see Malaysia as nothing else but his own reflection.

“Ambition must be made to counteract ambition. The interest of the man must be connected with the constitutional rights of the place. It may be a reflection on human nature that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. What is government itself but the greatest of all reflections on human nature?”
    – James Madison,1788, “Father of the U.S. Constitution”

re, Revoking his highest title would leave Dr M in the ranks of datuk,

Someone must have suggested that and of course it’s wasn’t you Helen ,you only high lite that suggestion .

Nice ways to beat around . Good suggestion anyway !.

    • 8. Mat Rempit Hubris  |  July 19, 2016 at 3:48 am

I agree with Tebing Tinggi that its a good suggestion.

When you dont have a shred of proof nor one witness and you make fitnah’s like PM is going to be arrested, that Tabung Haji bailed out 1Mdb, that foreign powers shud interfere in our domestic affairs (just to cite a few) then he deserves to lose his Tunship.

Shortterm, such fitnahs comming from a former PM has the ability to rock the stock market, effect negatively the exchange rate, harm investers confidence and the economy.

In the case of Tabung Haji such lies can lead to a run on her deposits-which if large enuf cud led to the inatitutions failure. Indeed almost 4000 people–many who are poor and ignorant–did witbdraw their savings and lost the oppurtunity to earn the high return Tabung Haji gives out last year. For lower income groups such returns make a differance yet Tun didnt care in putting them in harms way.

Unsuprising of course, since such results makes perfect sense from the viewpoint of Tun’s objective–if he damages the economy than he can say that Najib is bad for the economy which wud be another argument he wud then use to say why Najib has to go.

As much as deserves the Tunship when he got it for the deeds he did, by the same token, he deserves to lose it for the sins he did in the last one year. Just becos he protected our soveirengty in the past doesnt give him a license to harm it today.

So Helen i have to say i agree with Tebing Tinggi

Blame the sagacious and absolve the delinquent.

        One Ton of hubris!

        • 10. Mat Rempit Hubris  |  July 19, 2016 at 6:08 pm

          Mr Songsang,

Yup i agree…making a ton of accusations that can harm the economy without a shred of evidence and withessess to back it up is indeed the epitome of hubris. Its not only deliquent but downright treasonous

      • 11. Orang Perlis  |  July 19, 2016 at 4:16 pm

        Mat Rempit Hubris

When you dig through all the politiking by either sides, 1MDB was indeed a messy and shitty deal. All documents in plain sight for you to read ( well, except for the damning OSA-ed AG report).

hey even, MOF No 2 admitted it.

Better yet, dont have to look far, even Helen is not a fan of it ( though she has decided not to discuss it).

So tell me, its been a year now. Nobody is still held accountable for this mess.

Doesnt it make you wonder? :)

          Orang Perlis
          Harini Mahkamah ada sebut perkataan

…All documents in plain sight for you to read…
Bole tak post kat sini document2 yg you sebut?

          ….hey even, MOF No 2 admitted it….
Mayb saya terlepas pandang. Tuan bole link kat sini tak berkaitan admission MOF No.2 itu?

          • 13. Orang Perlis  |  July 19, 2016 at 5:29 pm

            Cik Rina, Google ada.

“He said 1MDB was a company that started with a very noble idea. According to Johari, the idea was basically to use 1MDB to leverage its ability to borrow money and do something that an ordinary company could not do — to develop huge assets like Bandar Malaysia and TRX, and at the same time, consolidate the energy sector. “Unfortunately, along the way, things went wrong. I am quite pleased to see that the government is willing to come out openly to allow the Public Accounts Committee to do a report and allow people like myself to study that report,” he added. Johari said three conclusions were made following the report. They included a wrong business model for 1MDB, weak management and lack of corporate governance

            Read More :

PAC document ada, , AG report ada ( kalau tahu cari lah)…. surat BNM ada ( no denial that its fake)….
Ini bukan hearsay. ini paper trail betui punya…
dah mention byk kali dah 1MDB can use all the corporate speak that they want….kita ni yg duk involve in corporate world tau la apa all those big verbose words really mean…

orang2 politik biasa lah duk tokok tambah utk kepentingan politik.

But fact remains fact once you peel away the unnecessary verbiage.

Again: takdak orang nak do the honourable thing and be accountable kaaaa?

            • 14. RINA  |  July 19, 2016 at 8:30 pm

              Orang Perlis,

….They included a wrong business model for 1MDB, weak management and lack of corporate governance…

Kot celah mana Najib sampai dituduh merompak duit rakyat?

Berapa kerat sangat professional Malay accountants kat Malaysia ni, cikit tau.

Perwaja Steel dulu pun satu failed business venture, nak link sini depa padam habis cerita Perwaja – takde pla sampai tuduh TDM merompak duit rakyat?

              • 15. Orang Perlis  |  July 20, 2016 at 3:36 pm

I really dont understand you people sometimes.

As ive said many times, I am not a “fan” of Mahathir. nor any political heads that we have past & present.
As ive said many times, at this stage tak guna nak convince mana2 pihak pun. Semua dah made up their minds. Im not going to convince you nor anyone here, kalau hangpa suka Najib…pls go on and support….free choice isnt it ? ( though Cik Rina, you did mention you’re not a fan of him and his wife right? :D)

“Kot celah mana Najib sampai dituduh merompak duit rakyat? Bukan ke PAC dah buat investigations dan rekomen ambil tindakan yang patut2. ”

Again, you refer to Tun’s statement. I didnt make that statement. Not everyone is on board with political noise made by politicans ( or ex politicans).

“Hang pandai dan faham sangat ke dok analisa lepot2 dokumen tu semua? Rasa saya hangpa sekadar dok cari ejaan perkataan N-A-J-I-B R-O-S-M-A-H saja dalam lepot2 dokumen2 tu semua. Transactions lain2 mampuih majoriti dari kalangan Protun tak faham! Berapa kerat sangat professional Malay accountants kat Malaysia ni, cikit tau.

Aii…tu bukan kira menuduh? ;). tak tahu tanya, tak tanya, rugi sendiri ;)

” Perwaja Steel dulu pun satu failed business venture, nak link sini depa padam habis cerita Perwaja – takde pla sampai tuduh TDM merompak duit rakyat? Takde sampai nak tendang TDM dan musnahkan UMNO?”

Again, as ive mentioned many times in this blog, i welcome kalau kerajaan nak bukak case ni. bukan ni saja, kes MAS zaman dulu2 pun …silakan…..

the funny thing is…balik2 you fellas duk bising Tun this, Tun that.

Just be aware, there are many other critics who are NOT Tun supporters pun..

        • 16. Mat Rempit Hubris  |  July 19, 2016 at 7:25 pm

          Does it make me wonder?

Of course it makes me wonder and NOT about one thing but many. For example:

          1. Is there any proof of any crime that is taking place? Is there any witnesses?

2.If Tun can make an ocean of accusations why cant he provide ONE ironclad proof? Why cant he show one witness?

          3. If Tun has proof then why does he keep on changing the figures of the amount of money missing…from 42 billion to 27 then to just a vague ‘billions’? If a bank officer or a uni business/acciunts student were to get his figures wrong to such a degree they wud be punished or failed. So how come its ok for a person who has so much consequence to his statement cud play it so fast and loose with his figures yet nothing happens to him?

          4. If Tun doesnt care that he does damage to the economy or institutions like Tabung Haji and harm thousands of poor depositors, how can anyone believe that he is doing all his attacks on Njb and Gomen for the given reason that its bcos he is protecting the national interest?

Ada banyak lagi things that i wonder about–like is there any illegal stuff happening in our GLC’S (not just 1Mdb) but it remain just that–mere wonderings. And mere wonderings are not enuf to launch any kind of public accusation of towards anyone of commiting crimes of any sort. To do that, the accusation has to be back by ironclad proof and witnessess.

Alas, till now Tun cuma has provided innuendoes, aacusations, drama, hypocracy, a dubious declarationand soon a new political party.

Malangnya all those he can provide, but ONE ironclad evidence and ONE credible witness he cant provide.

              Tun’s zombi followers cant see

            • 19. HY  |  July 20, 2016 at 10:06 pm

what to do? some just cant breakaway from their socio-political conditioning n own hubris to see this case in an honest manner.

        • 20. Mat Rempit Hubris  |  July 19, 2016 at 7:28 pm

Ada orang dah made accountable for it.

The Board of Directors have lost their jobs for the weaknesses mentioned by the PAC.

  • 21. Mat Rempit Hubris  |  July 19, 2016 at 5:55 pm

Ada, the Board has resign for the weaknesses that were reported by the PAC. Now, whether anyone is charge with a legal offense is another matter altogether–and will be conditional on whether such ‘weaknesses’ as reported by the PAC is tantamount to a crime under the law.

  • 22. Surrhead  |  July 19, 2016 at 6:50 pm

Aiyaa….after rpk, now helen suggesting mahathir’s TUNship to be revoked….hope it can be done soon….and i would love to see if the Agong if willing to go through it…..And moreover, besides tun razak who died while in office, all the other PMs died outside of umno…..this is nothing new

    • 23. Mat Rmpit Hubrise  |  July 19, 2016 at 9:32 pm

Surrhead is correct–most PM died outside Umno. So that’s nothing new.

BUT nobody in history has been stripped of his Tunship.

So if it happens to Mahathir, that will definitely be new, the first and probably the last
