Black ops to goad Tun into a raging bull
The more blows are directed at him, the deeper the Grand Olde Man digs in his heels.
Tun has over the past year seen his son removed as Kedah MB, his ally sacked as Umno deputy president, the ‘no confidence’ motion (which he strongly backed) on the budget defeated in Parliament, his Deklarasi thwarted, his Proton chairmanship removed, his henchmen charged with economic sabotage, and his police escort taken away.
Even his innocuous Perdana Leadership Foundation, of which Tun is the honorary president, is not left untouched — see Malaysiakini headline below.
Tun’s larger-than-life persona shrinking
The ultimate humiliation – a fate worse than jail sentence – is if Dr Mahathir were to be stripped of his Tunship.
Revoking his highest title would leave Dr M in the ranks of the Datuks such as Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, Datuk Mahfuz Omar, Datuk Ibrahin Ali, Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan and Datuk Khairuddin Abu Hassan.
One by one, all the accoutrements that serve to enhance Tun’s aura are being peeled away from him.
But Tun is not taking these stinging mortifications lying down. On the contrary, the harder he is pressed, the more vigorously he hits back.
In the earlier stages of Tun’s attempt to topple Najib, his strikes were characterized by a certain degree of subtlety. Nowadays the attacks by Tun have degenerated into the crude and brute (blunt force).
Don’t be surprised if very soon after this Tun himself will earn the moniker ‘Cash is King’-carbon copy. Whatever and however much it costs to fight to the finish.

‘My way’ and no turning back now
Tun is the living embodiment of ‘No Retreat, No Surrender’. It is absolutely certain that he will do battle to his final breath.
So the last thing that a pugnacious warhorse like Tun wants to be told is for him to “take a rest”.
Or to be reminded that he is over 90, past his prime and “too old” to continue in politics. The “handsome” nonagenarian doesn’t look his age anyway — check out his fantastically youthful-looking recent photo below
Blogger Melayu pemakan dedak ultra kiasu
Why would a blogger wish to publicly ‘advise’ Tun to cease and desist, and allow “younger people” (who, ah?) to be instead in the thick of things?
For Tun to be told that his rebellion within Umno has failed miserably, and that his new party is akin to Datuk Onn Jaafar’s failed IMP and Parti Negara, is a surefire way to get Tun all riled up.
Giving Tun advice that he is only tiring himself, that the fight is too tedious for someone his age, and that he should stick to praying in the hope of Allah empowering the opposition to win GE14 is to guarantee Tun will definitely charge with guns blazing in the opposite direction (to the supposed caring advice).
Takkan lah si blogger tu tak kenal peribadi Tun?
Why would a Melayu blogger who has worked before with Umno Johor – albeit he is now a reject item – proffer such ludicrous advice which he knows will have the opposite effect?
Ahhh… it’s precisely because it is the opposite effect that is desired.
Hidden agenda behind the ‘caring’ concern
The ‘just rest at home’ advice offered Tun – kononnya from someone who regards himself as a son and who looks upon Tun as a father – is like waving a red flag at an enraged bull.
This Trojan horse Melayu blogger – who is a 20k political operative – actually wants Tun to fly off the handle. Through his sneaky-disguised-as-nice goading, he is trying to make Tun the wrecking ball that will destroy Umno after Tun scorches the earth.
Don’t forget that this Melayu blogger had previously called Umno a “racist party”. He also labelled Umno leaders as “despicable” for whacking the handsome old man, and described their various repressive actions as “hateful”.
Blogger pretending to be half Chinese has become RBA
Think! Who stands to benefit most from Tun going on an End of Days warpath? You can figure it out for yourself.
However, despite his clever chameleon abilities, the Malay blogger gave himself away when he penned a line about how the Protuns – if they’re still determined to soldier on against Najib – must then “fight as one of the opposition parties”.
It’s apparent that the Protun blogger is carrying out his paid task of shepherding his fellows to join the existing opposition flock.
Again my dear readers can work out which one of the opposition parties is most eager to absorb Malays who are ex-Umno. Which oppo party desperately needs to be strengthened by an influx of Melayu Baru?
This baiting and goading Tun with advice that will irk the handsome old man is clearly in line with the Melayu-screw-Melayu strategy.
