Is MCA helping DAP to win Johor?

Asking Umno to look in the mirror, an MCA bureau secretary yesterday derided the BN Malay party for losing three Parliament seats loaned it by the BN Chinese party in the last election.

Gelang Patah was lost by Umno’s then caretaker Johor MB in 2013 with “a skyrocketing thumping majority”, said Chris Daniel Wong, adding that Kuantan and Wangsa Maju as well had been lost by Umno with bigger majorities compared to MCA’s marginal loss of the two seats in 2008. Plan B

1. Zainuddin Maidin believes MCA is finished (“sudah hancur lebur berkarat”) and that DAP is currently the voice of the Chinese (“sebenarnya DAP telah menggantikan MCA sebagai wakil orang Cina “).

2. This means the old communal formula for power sharing between the races is effectively dead, at least insofar as the continued viability of the BN is concerned. Continue reading “Plan B”

So just how “racist” were the Malay paper headlines, really?

Continues from Dapsters call Malay sport editors “racist”

Even MCA president Liow Tiong Lai has jumped on the bandwagon, saying,

“I am disappointed with their [Kosmo! and Berita Harian] comments. It’s utter rubbish. The [mixed doubles badminton] pair did Malaysia proud for winning us a medal”. Continue reading “So just how “racist” were the Malay paper headlines, really?”

Our badminton ace Lee Chong Wei is taking his third shot at an Olympic gold tonight.

Muhyiddin accuses Najib of fanning anti-DAP sentiments

Muhyiddin Yassin claims that his ex-boss Najib Razak is scaremongering Malays through ‘demon’-izing the DAP. The way he describes it is that the DAP is being made a “hantu” that most frightens the majority community.

The ex-Umno deputy president labels this as the current Umno president’s “dirty tactic”.

Isn’t it wonderful how bersih Muhyiddin has suddenly become? Continue reading “Muhyiddin accuses Najib of fanning anti-DAP sentiments”

Wooohoooo! Chinese have returned to BN

MCA and its J-Star media have been trumpeting repeatedly that Chinese voters have moved back to BN.

Well, we’re soon going to see a visible display of the community’s renewed support and enthusiasm for the ruling party when pro-government Chinese in red shirts take to the streets to counter rally against the anti-government Bersih. Continue reading “Wooohoooo! Chinese have returned to BN”

RM90m “widespread suspicion” against PAS a preemptive strike (attn: Dr Zuhdi)

Clare Rewcastle Brown used Sarawak Report to push her allegation of a “widespread suspicion” that top PAS leaders took RM90 million from Najib Razak.

If she chooses to go down this route, one can similarly talk about the equally widespread suspicion that she took x amount of money from individual y to carry out Operation Z.

(Or to sidetrack a bit, we can give another analogy wrt the widespread suspicion that Anon is Annie talking to himself.) Continue reading “RM90m “widespread suspicion” against PAS a preemptive strike (attn: Dr Zuhdi)”

Time Rahman Dahlan called a spade a spade, and DAP a dajjal

BN strategic communications director Abdul Rahman Dahlan was reported by Malaysiakini on Saturday (Aug 6) as saying:

“Since [Najib] assumed office, he has been the most stressed prime minister in the world. Why, because we have opposition who refuse to use their brains. They use only emotions.”

Dear Tun, an open letter

Helen Ang

Need to amputate MCA before the Chinese party causes BN to lose election

Dear Tun,

I share your fear of BN losing the coming election. If BN loses, it is the DAP that will come to power. My worry about the DAP is what they do to people. I view the evangelical party as Bintang Lima. History has shown me what the Bintang Tiga did.

Dapsters don’t want Chong Wei to win Olympic gold

All Malaysians are rooting for Lee Chong Wei to bring home our country’s first ever Olympic gold medal, except for the Dapsters that is.

Below is a sampling of comments by Dapsters on Chong Wei’s previous Olympic outing and its run-up in London (screenshots at bottom of page):

One million rakyat signed Deklarasi Mahathir but half cannot join Tun’s party

Tun claims that more than one million Malaysians signed his declaration aimed at removing Najib Razak from office.

His old crony Ling Liong Sik was welcomed to endorse Deklarasi Mahathir (pix below). Nonetheless, Tun Dr Ling cannot join Dr Mahathir’s new party which is open only to bumiputera and Ling, alas, is no prince of the soil. Melayu sesatkan Muslim: Harap kafir boleh masuk jannah

One of my old articles dating back to 1 Aug 2014 recently made an ‘anniversary’ appearance in social media. Some influential Facebookers had viraled it. The title is ‘Malays can rule on their own without sharing power with Chinese’.

It was the concluding piece to a four-part series containing my suggestions on how BN can regain Selangor, and has plenty of my trademark charts and graphs. Continue reading “Melayu sesatkan Muslim: Harap kafir boleh masuk jannah”
