J-Star CEO Wong Chun Wai has aimed his fire at Malay “doltish personalities” and Muslim “extremists” yet again. This time, it is the “obscure” Barisan Bertindak Melayu Islam that is in his gunsight. He wants those NGOs under the new Bertindak grouping to be called up by police.
Below are extracts from Chun Wai’s newspaper column today where he copiously deploys the ‘R’ (racist, racism, racial, race) word.
Chun Wai wrote:
(1) Bertindak … “is downright seditious – the tone of its proposal smacks of racism.”
(2) … “anything uttered which upsets a group of people along racial or religious lines is seditious.”
(3) – (4) … “remind some feeble-minded racists of these historical facts as they are completely ignorant or blind to this as a result of their bigotry and racist nature.”
(5) – (6) … “preferring to stoke racial flames to fulfil their ugly agenda at the expense of race relations and the nation’s future.”
(7) – (8) … “thrive on racism in the name of defending their race and religion”
(9) – (10) … “Dennis Ignatius eloquently wrote that ‘this is a country where racism and religious intolerance has run amok, where morally and intellectually bankrupt racist and extremist groups masquerade as patriots and righteous men’…”
(11) … “a deeper malaise that stains our nation’s honour – the acceptance, adulation even, of racism”
(12) … “supposedly Indian rights activists inciting a crowd and making clearly racist slurs.”
(13) – (14) “Racial overtones by any Malaysian, regardless of their race and religion”.
(15) “Malaysia has no place for racists.”
(16) … “because Malaysia remains multi-racial, multi-ethnic and multi-religious. Let’s keep it that way.”
Chun Wai’s article today is titled ‘Malaysia belongs to all of us’.
For someone who perpetually postures as being colour blind and beyond race, the J-Star evangelista sure is uber obsessed with labelling others as “racists” and guilty of “racism”.
The latest crap from The Star other than the sex related articles to shore up readership and maintain WCW multimillion salary is misquoting Muslim leaders other WCW bipolar commentaries which try to pander both the DAP crowd and his MCA(read BN) paymaster.
A former mufti of Terengganu who was a progressive ulama was misquoted as saying rapists should be stoned to death when he gave a talk about rape at a NGO event in KL.

Netizens slam Mandarin emphasis in M’sia, S’pore version of The Voice
AS popular reality television show The Voice finally makes its way to Malaysia and Singapore, the local version has since drawn flak from Netizens in both countries. The reality show will require hopefuls to sing in Mandarin instead of English.
A Malaysian Facebook user Melissa Chow said: “Why impose that additional condition of ability to sing in Mandarin? So unfair.”
Singaporean Jules Jumari agreed and said: “So what is the point of using an English title but the content is Mandarin? I am fine if it is another Mandarin talent show. But please change the misleading title.”
“Maybe it should be renamed The Language!” said another Malaysian Daryl Sani.
“The production team claims that this version of The Voice will be able to reach out to mass audiences within Singapore and Malaysia.
“Perhaps they should say the show will reach out to mass Chinese audiences.
That is so sick……..these fools just ruined THE VOICE……
Ala..tv show saja. Selama ni diskriminasi “Candidate with Mandarin proficiency only” berleluasa sapa pernah kisah? Bagus juga additional requirement ni. Kurang sikit melayu melayu ni tengok tv. Harap maharaja lawak follow.
Narrated Jubair ibn Mut’im r.a. : The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.), said:
“He who calls men towards `Asabiyah (group chauvinism/tribalism) does not belong amongst us; neither those who fight for `Asabiyah nor who die for the sake of `Asabiyah.”
[Sunan Abu Dawud Hadith No. 5121]
Iblis or Satan was the first racist being who considered himself superior to Adam the first man.
(Allah Most Glorious & Sublime) proclaimed: “What obstructed you (O Iblis) such that you would not prostrate (to Adam), when I commanded you?” Iblīs replied: “I am better than him (Adam)! You created me from (smokeless fire) but him You created from (inferior) clay.” (Quran, Al-A’raf 7:12)
Iblis preferred his own logic, ignoring the command of the Lord Creator who gave him his mind and everything else.
In the Name of Allah All-Compassionate and Most Merciful
“Verily we have honoured all the Children of Adam. We convey them over the land and the sea, and have provided them good things, and for certain we have preferred them above many others of our creation.”
(Quran, verse 17:70)
“. . . if you do judge, judge between yourselves who believe! be upholders of justice, bearing witness for Allah alone, even against yourselves or your parents or relatives. Whether they are rich or poor, Allah is well able to look after them. Do not follow your own desires and deviate from the truth. If you twist the facts or turn away, Allah is aware of what you are doing.” (Quran, surah an-Nisa’, v. 135)
“Among those We have created there is a community who guide by the Truth and acts justly according to it.” (surah al-A‘raf, v. 181)
“… if you do judge, judge between them justly. Allah loves the just.” (surah al-Maida, v. 42)
“You who have faith! Show integrity for the sake of Allah, bearing witness in justice. Do not let hatred for a people incite you into not being just. Be just. That is closer to taqwa (God consciousness). Fear Allah (The Most Wise). The Lord is aware of all that you do.”
(surah al-Maida, v. 8)
