Leading Chinese educationist Dr Kua was a one-term DAP Petaling Jaya MP in the 1990s. He is also a former ISA detainee whom Tun Mahathir, as PM cum Home Minister, had locked up in Kamunting for 445 days. You really can’t blame the PJ PhD doctor if he should feel sinned against by the Alor Setar medical doctor.
But lo and behold! Under the rules of the DAP holy book, however, dosa-dosa Tun M sudah berjaya di’Bersih’kan, Hallelujah! We can turn a new page, yay.

DAP’s religion of Hope
The ex-Umno president of 22 years is immediately Born Again after his baptism into the Coalition of Hope, now cleansed and purified. Miracles can happen when your Harapan is fervent enough.
With Tun M graciously forgiven by the evangelistas and his sins all but forgotten by the Dapsters, what then is to be made of a long-time consistent Umno critic such as Dr Kua? Simple. The RBA burn him at the stake for cardinal sins of being “naïve”, “vengeful” and “makan dedak”. How ironic, indeed.
These pious DAP religious reverts can say anything. The ordinary person is truly dumbfounded by what the DAP priestly caste is capable of saying and doing. After all, it is DAP that invited a rebranded Umno Minor into the opposition fold.
Umno Major meanwhile leads a race-based ruling party comprised of itself representing Malays; MCA representing Chinese, MIC, Indians and the Sabah Sarawak parties as representatives of the Borneo natives. Similarly, DAP leads a religion-based challenger party comprised of itself representing Christians and they’re hoping Hindraf will be able to get them the Hindu swing votes..
Harapan’s other components are PAN which is a splinter party of the Islamist PAS as well as Tun’s PBBM which is a breakaway from its mothership ‘Agama dan Bangsa’ über alles party. Do note that Chinese DAP supporters are excluded from membership in PAN as they’re not Muslim and shut out too from PBBM as they’re not Malay.
Both political coalitions are founded on the same building blocks – only on side side the cement is Race whereas the other side is structured by Religion.
In a nutshell, PAN and PBBM are Muslim while DAP is evangelical. The same ‘compartmentized-according-to-one’s-own-kind’ formula practised in BN is still replicated by Harapan.

DAP turning water into wine
So how is DAP maintaining itself as the dominant party in the opposition bloc under the circumstances? Answer: Religious supremacy, just as Umno is accused of Malay supremacy.
PAS and Umno are presently lamenting aloud that Islam is under attack. Well, who is doing the attacking? Hint: Who is doing its utmost to “ubah” the very structure of the Malaysian state?
And speaking of attack, the rabid DAP hyenas (please don’t describe DAP as ‘dogs’ because dogs are noble animals) have, most ironically, targeted Dr Kua to be among their Top 5 Public Enemy hit list.
DAP’s shock troops attack Dr Kua as “naïve” for failing to understand the Mahathir born again Bersih, Suci miracle, as “vengeful” for failing to embrace the DAP ethos of ‘Love thy Enemy-Turn the Other Cheek’ and as “makan dedak” for continuing to criticize Tun M who is the freshly anointed patron saint of Mount Hope.
Poor sinner Dr Kua (who’s not Christian) would be better attuned to the DAP’s crusade to ‘Save Malaysia’ if he first repented and returned to the flock for the necessary reeducation. Only then can all be forgiven.

I just finish reading the new budget, nothing to cheer about. The existing problems will still be around; high living cost, unaffordable homes, low wages, GST, rising unemployment, etc.

Each Friday night after work, Ole would fire up his barbeque on the shore of Arthurs Lake and cook a venison steak.
All of Ole’s neighbours were Catholic … and since it was Lent, they were forbidden from eating meat on a Friday.
The delicious aroma from the grilled venison steaks wafted over the neighbourhood and was causing such a problem for the Catholic faithful that they finally talked to their priest.
The Priest came to visit Ole, and suggested that he become a Catholic.
After several classes and much study, Ole attended Mass … and as the priest sprinkled holy water over him, said, “You were born a Lutheran and raised a Lutheran but now you are a Catholic.”
Ole’s neighbours were relieved, until Friday night arrived and the wonderful aroma of grilled venison filled the neighbourhood.
The Priest was called immediately by the neighbours and he rushed over to Ole’s place clutching a rosary and prepared to scold him, when he stopped and watched in amazement.
There stood Ole, clutching a small bottle of holy water which he carefully sprinkled over the grilling meat and chanted:
“You vuz born a deer, you vuz raised a deer, but now you is a rainbow trout.”
* Turn M is a rainbow trout now. Just wondering how many gallons of holy water they needed…

Ms H. The whole matter of ‘about-turn’ Malaysian Politicians is the fact that we Malaysians do not have the word ;HYPOCRISY’ in our vocabulary. Or to put it crudely, a politician is a person with a thick-skin without conscience and memory.

Dr M’s many U Turns are pale in comparison with your idol Chief Thief MO1 who screamed obscenities like Kepala Bapak Engkau, Bodoh, Bangang, Haram Jadah in public to his hecklers. These tantrums arei unbecoming of a supposedly leader of a country!
