“Yes, prime minister” — Dapsters just adore their Beloved Tun

Dapsters are finding their Beloved Tun 太可爱 … just too “adorable”. He can do no wrong in their eyes.

Never mind that there’s a brewing ‘Cambridge’ stew wrt Marzuki Yahya the deputy foreign minister. Semua okay, bah. It was after all Mahathir who put his own Pribumi man in the cabinet after airdropping Marzuki into Dewan Negara (a minister must be either an MP or senator).

“The Marzuki scandal … also opened the floodgates to greater scrutiny of the educational background of other Pakatan [Harapan] leaders including two Mentris Besar,” wrote Joceline Tan in her Star column today. The Menteris Besar under scrutiny are Johor and Perak, and both are from Pribumi too.

But Mahathir knows best. Dapsters acknowledge that their Beloved Tun certainly knew best when, as the Harapan chairman, he placed his party men as the coalition’s chairmen in Johor and Perak. (Harapan state chairmen were automatically poised to become MB.)

BELOW: Mahathir’s lawyer appointed to lead Perda

As always, Mahathir’s prerogative is deferred to; like when that little twat Syed Saddiq was hoisted on high as Pemuda Harapan chief and subsequently Malaysia’s youngest ever cabinet minister. Hidup Pribumi!

Maszlee Malik the education minister is another Pribumi chappie who has been receiving flak non stop. But never mind. It was Mahathir who airlifted the first-time MP high up there, and fawning Dapsters are willing to lick and lick and lick the Beloved Tun to death.

In the spirit of New Malaysia meritocracy and Mahathirism 2.0, DAP is embracing Pribumi here, there and everywhere.

Our beloved Tun, the dearest leader

Joceline’s article today also referenced Pribumi supreme council member Akhramsyah Sanusi whom she credited as the Mara Corporation Sdn Bhd chairman.

Would I be wrong to presume that Mahathir had something to do with the young man – Akhramsyah is the son of Mahathir loyalist, the late Sanusi Junid – placed up there to lead Mara Corp?

Likewise, who put Pribumi vice president Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman as Electoral Reform Committee head?

The appointment of Pribumi party people to GLCs permeate all levels – refer below, Johor Education Foundation board of directors who comprise among them two Pribumi division leaders.

What was it about the Harapan manifesto promise made in God’s name to appoint GLC heads based on merit and not on their party affiliation? Another janji dicapati.

I am still waiting for you to say it out loud in your blog that “Najib can do not wrong in my eyes”.

Else you are just a hypocrite, Helen.
